Erik moved to Beiral's side.. 'Berial.. Reiha cna come over anyti.."
Berial only brushed Erik aside though as he went to give Adian another big shove. "No!" He said adamandtly. "You hurt her!" He said.. "You made her cry.." His mind was recalling the event last night.
Erik's mind also went to the same event.. Berial was right.. Reiha had had some sort of manic attack, thinking they would hurt her.. Had that been Adian, or ahd it been something before the train?

Okay that snaped ADian out of his 'I got laid!' buzz hew as in right now. He blinked and turned quickly to Reiha. "When did I do that!?" He demanded, looking scared as he bent down, reaching over to stroke the girl's hair who looked a little uncomfortable. Okay Adian punnished her once but did he really make her cry? She remmbered her being angry then that awful question...Are you going to hit me now? Wait...was that was Berial was talking about?
"Berial...Adian never hit me" Reiha admited, shifting a little uncomfortable. she didn't mean to imply that, honestly. She wasn't cruel or vicious, she just didn't like Adian much. She looked up at Adian, remembering that time he punnished her too. "I thought he might once but when I asked he sounded really surpised at the idea"
Adian sighed and turned to Bieral, "Look...kid. I'm not a great person, you wont hear me say that. But I was raised right, and there's nothing I hate more than a man who beats up on woman or children. Hiting someone weaker than you for no good reason is wrong, and I'll never do it." he rose, feeling like things were more resolve. "Can I take Reiha home now?" he asked, giving Berial a sheepish smile, going back to his friendly cheerful demoner.

Berial's anger seemed to dissipate as they both spoke and he looked over at Reiha.. If she said Adian had never hurt her, then Adian had never hurt her.. Looking up at Adian, he shuffled slightly.. "m'sorry for.. pushing you.." He said..
Erik sighed softly, glad that dissaster had been avoided.. "Why don;t you two go ito the living room for a bit.. I have some things I'd like to tell Aidan.." He said softly.
Berial nodded sofly, looking up againa and mumbling another apology before moving over to Reiha and starting outside.

"Don't fret squirt" Adian asured him, ruffling his hair agian and grining till both kids lef the room, than his smile faded instantly and he looked over at Erik. "What happened?" he asked quietly, worry in his voice as he glanced out the door. Adian looked different when he was serious...he looked more like a man.
Reiha grabed Berial's hand when they walked out. "I didn't mean to imply that he hit me" she explain quickly. "He's just stupid, honest. I just don't like him much, not 'cause he hurts me or anything just...cause he tells me what to do and stuff and I don't like it"

Erik sighed, noticing the quick change that had overtaken Adian's features. "Last night.. Reiha had something like a panic attack. She was curled up on the floor screaming for us not to touch her.. She didn't come to until Korbin scracthed her cheek a bit.." He sighed.. "She said it was something about her past.. She didn;t seem to eager to explain.."
Berial nodded, listening. "I was just worried.." Berial said. "I dun want you to go back if he's going to hurt you.." He said.. Telling her what to do he could live with, but Berial wasn;t sure he could ahndle Reiha getting hurt.

Adian sighed and he sat down as he rubbed his face. "She had something like that before. We were fighting and when I was done punnishing her she just...looked at me with these big adult eyes and asked if I was going to hit her now." he shuddered at the thought. "For a while I was looking for Reiha's real parents but now I've just given up. I don't think I wnat her to go back. She was serious when she asked and I could tell if I hit her she wouldn't have been the least bit surpised. I don't know who riased her but they better not come back" Adian took a deep breath even as one hand fisted. "It's wrong to hit women."
"He's never tired to hurt me" Reiha promised, hugging the boy, as Korbin fluttered from her arms. "No one tries to hurt me" she repeated. She hugged the boy tight then smiled, "It's okay, everything will be okay" she promised, "And Erik said I can come back any time I want to and maybe Adian will want you to come over sometime. It's not as fun as here. WE don't have a Huburt or magic crystals but Adian watches movies sometimes. We could do that or something"

Erik nodded.. He felt bad for the children who had been placed in thier charge. They'd had hard lives already. Reiha and he previous parents. Berial and whatever it was that had casued his mark.. He sighed.. "Anoter thing.. I need your permission to teach Reiha magic.. I'm not a master, or anything, but, she seemed really eager.. She didn't want me to tell you.."
Berial's eyes lit up. "I like movies. Erik watched one called 'Findign Nemo' with me all the time. He likes the fish.." He said beaming. He quite enjoyed the movie as well.

"Huh? Oh magic. Yeah sure I geuss" Adian shrugged, not really careing much one way or another. He ehard magic was danergous but if Reiha had a teacher that means she'd only do things she was taught. Better than her trying to teach herself at home. He grimiced at the idea but shook his head. "Yeah safer than her trying to teach herself I geuss"
"Great when you come over we'll watch it" she promised with a nod, smiling at him as she said that. She was glad Berial was happy again. She really didn't mean to make him sad before, she didn't know that Berial thought Adian did those things to her. Everything was better now though.
Korbin rested on a chair, watching the two and glancing outside to the adults now and then. Things seemed to be fine now, Reiha dna Berial were making plans and Adian lost that look on his face. Korbin noticed how serious Adian got when he mentioned hiting Reiha. That was good, he seemed disgusted by it as he should be. Korbin was glad things seemed to be working out.

Erik smiled weakly, moving over to the sink and running the water so that the bowls could soak before he set himself to washing. "I'll try to keep it as safe as possible. If anything goes wrong, please call me as well.. It can be.. rather risky.. I've lost an eyebrow or two from being careless.." He said, turning back, and smiling fully. "But she really seemed to like it.. They both had a lot of fun together.."
Berial nodded exitedly. "Do you think we could go in and ask them when I can go?" He asked, now quite thrilled at the prospect of going to Reiha's.

"Sure" REiha said happily, still holding his hand as she turned to walk with him bck to the adults, who were luckily on to the lighter topic of magic. One that Adian had no real problem with Reiha learning.
"Alright, the brat will proably be doing most of her pratice in her room" Adian admited with a shrug. "She does most everything in there. If she gets hurt though I'll have to ask her to do it under my super vision. I noticed she had a bandaid. Did she get hurt doing magic before?"

Erik nodded. "A little scorched, but nothing too serious.. I offered to heal it but.." He trailed off. He realized how meek he sounded, not healing upa young girl because she ahd told him not to, but th conviction Reiha had had in her voice.. He shrugged it off. "She should be fine in a day or two.."
Berial strode in behind Reiha, beaming widely. "Erik!" He caled out, once again rushing to his guardian. "Can I go over to Reiha's soemday? Please..."
Erik only glanced at Adian. He didn;t want to answer anything unless it was alright with Adian.

Adian glanced over to Berial and then to Reiha. He knew the girl wouldn't ask but the fact that she didn't just promise it to Berial was a step in the fight direction and grined. "I don't know if I can handle a little fighter like you all night" Adian mentioned with a laugh, "But how about I take you and Reiha out sometime. You know, to the park or something. Then maybe you can spend the night." He winked at Berial, hoping the kid would react well to his kidding tone.
Reiha rolled her eyes as she turned to let Korbin fly into her arms and turned back to lookat Adian. Everything was a joke with him. She didn't get how he could move though life so with little motivation. He seemed perfectly content to do nothing important with his life.

Erik grinned weakly. "Well if Adian's ok with it.. OMPH!" Erk was almsot knocked back when Beiral flung into him in a fierce hug.
"Thank you! I promise I'll be good, and I'lleat all my food and wash my hands and I'll try not to break anything.." He said, very very quickly.
Erik blinked, trying to fix his glasses which had gone all tilted on the brim of his nose.. "I.." Looking up at Adian, he smiled. "Whener is good with you is fine with me.. I work from home, so.." He trailed off. He didn;t often have days where he had to be out of the house for very long.

"Hell my weekends are full of brats. Feel free to send him over when ever you need" Adian said honestly, "You got my number so feel free to call" he added, grining as he looked over at REiha. "Unless there is a time when you'd like Berial to come over" he mentioned to her.
As soon as possible. As soon as possbile she thought to herself but she just shrugged, "Next weekend?" she asked though, looking between the two. Adian had work during the week and so she knew he couldn't come over then. But the weekend Adian had off.

Erik paused to think for a moment.. He was on the verge of completing some new things he'd need patnted.. "This weekend sounds fine with me." He said, smiling.
Berial beamed and did a little happy dance on the spot, before glancing up at Adian with big pppy dog blue eyes/
