I was barely able to block it's next sweep but I did, by kneeling on the ground to support my leg. I was thankful this wasn't actually a strong golem, but it was enough, enough to train me up. All that time training in the Han tower and here I was unable to even land a damaging punch onto the golem. Yet it had been letting me damage it earlier, even though I wasn't having much success.

I hopped on the ground and I was barely touching the ground now between blocks as I swept up and attacked, seeing that offence seemed to be the best defense at the moment. I struck up at his blow attacking the golem with all I had. The golem responded by increasing it's speed much more than I had anticpated and struck back with a stomach punch which I had to deliver a knee strike to in order to block and deflect it.

It kept coming at me and I had to keep attacking it since it wasn't letting up. It's eyes were cold as if this level of attack wasn't even bothering it, if that was the case, then how was I going to block it's final attack. I punched another blow away from me and then switched around on a roundhouse in order to block the golems high kick. The totem seemed to be impressed since it was smiling...as much as a stonefaced totem can.

The golem backed off for a moment as I walked to the small fountain and scooped up some water into my mouth, and eating a little of the food before getting a little rest and waking up the next morning and having to block a revese heel to some part of my body or other. This thing also knew when I was awake, what did it watch me sleeping?

I jumped up just as it came at me again and I had to strike at it firmly blocking another attack with a hand to hand kite
strike. ALthough this thing was fast, it just wasn't quite fast enough to land a decent hit yet. In fact it was trying out
some of the attacks I had made, but I knew defensive procedures for them and enacted them when appropriate

I swung my arm out to the side as it swung another kick towards me. This blocking was getting easier...or so I thought until
this kick almost got through it, everytime I thought I had the hang of it, another attack came through that was twice as
powerful than before.

i started exhanging palm strikes with the golem enough so that I could defend. It was sort of easy, but challenging still. I
was amused, because it seemed that at the moment I had the upper hand. I switched just as the golem did into leg blocks.

At some point during these latest attacks I had stopped moving so much and was just protecting myself, making sure that none of my most vital points got hit.

Again I found my self striking out again using techniques that were commonly used with the Zanpakuto in order to block various hand to hand attacks. I found that they were coming faster now, and that I was having to speed up myself in order to keep up with the vicious attacks that were coming constantly now.

I let go of my body and let my hands move as if water so that I could block faster, it was no use being tense, and I was finding that every so often my body would tense up and I'd have to conciously let go once more. There'd be a time or two that i'd have to tense up in order to block some attack or other, but i'd forget to let go.

"You won't defeat me," I said swiping at it again. This Golem was having none of that again as it swung it's huge fist towards my face. i grabbed it in my hand. A direct block, and pushed it back. It spun around on it's heel and swung it's leg into mine. I dropped and intercepted the strike with my knee.

I jumped back before he got me the second time with a downward strike and I punched hard and fast into its stomach. Yet it blocked and then went straight for me sending a fist into my chest and sending me backwards putting me back in my place. I took that though as a cue to take a break and did so, thus I drank from the fountain and ate a little more food before resting my body.

The following morning and I was being beaten by the monster again. Well...at least if it wasn't for dreaming about guarding myself being a sleep walker. The golem would have made contact, had my hand not moved up just in the nick of time to block the punch. Thankfully the golem wasn't as strong as me, but it was to a degree, faster.

I was starting to develop a method of defending that didn't insist that bore the brunt of the attack, although it was actually quite old and I used it during my kenjutsu training when I was still alive. I was starting to parry the attacks using a sort of slap, which was using the Kosshijutsu I knew in order to affect the nerve and muscle structure to push the incoming thing out of the way.

Implementing the slap technique some more I started to use it with my feet. I had taken to not wearing very much now, because my clothes were just shredding under the training now, and I was quite sure that it wasn't going to get any easier at all. I slapped away an incoming punch, and then slapped a round house kick above me with my foot.
