Vote for Zap2It's Amy Awards:
The VM nominees are Best Scene Stealer- Jason Dohring Most Underrated Cast or Actor - Cast of VM Best Death - Beaver
The polls close on June 29 and winners are announced July 3.
[random mini-rant] What is so great about Kate's ruler quote on Lost? Is it because anything remotely witty is rarely comes out of Kate? She has nothing on Veronica. Maybe that's why VM never gets nominated on best line categories because there are too many. [/random mini-rant]

It's official! Tina Majorino (Mac) and Michael Muhney (Lamb) will be series regulars for season 3!
Knowing how the shows budget is and how busy Tina is since she will also be doing Big Love, we all know that doesn't mean they will be in every episode but they will be in the opening credits!

This is great news! Mac is one of my favorite characters. I realize I haven't posted much...been kind of hetic. Hope you all are enjoying your summers. And if you happen to be in San Fran you should keep a look out for a VM ad on a bus. It was by far one of the better ads for the new network.

Kristen Bell is currently# 2 on those ad things that list the top Yahoo searches! That never happens.
It wouldn't hurt to search for her on Yahoo to try to keep her on there for a while.
Maybe search for VM while you're at it.

From TV Week Quote: The season premieres of returning series "Everybody Hates Chris" and "Veronica Mars" plus debuting series "Runaway" will run on MSN.com free of charge and commercial-free. The third-season opener of "Veronica" will be online Sept. 26 through its premiere Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 9 p.m. Yay! (Of course Nielson households need to rewatch when it airs on TV or we will be crying the next day.)

(I'm at university so I can't do it myself crying )

So VM officially comes out on http://tv.msn.com tommorrow. Unless stargirl or marshjazz say otherwise, I'm going to ask that until it airs on TV everyone be courteous to those who can't or choose not to watch it online and notdiscuss it anywhere other than the episode thread until it airs on TV.

That sounds good. I can't watch it until I get back from Arizona anyway...meh. But yes please be kind and don't ruin it for others.

According to two VM writers the show got an order for 3 more scripts.
Ordering scripts isn't the same as a full episode order, but usually when the order scripts they order the episode too. We still don't have word on the whole season but at least this allows for the second arc to be finished.
Dawn Ostroff has said she's happy with the growth but wants to look at for a few more weeks. Hopefully she isn't expecting more growth but just wants to see it be stable against House, because there is no way it can grow once we're up against House.

Online, Kristin Veitch Meanwhile, over on the CW, sources tell me that Veronica Mars has received an order for three more episodes—not the full season it deserves, but this die-hard fan will take it! And apparently, One Tree Hill also has received an order for more episodes (either one or three more, depending on whom you ask). Not a huge show of faith, but at least it's something.

This is a few weeks old but for those who haven't heard:
The CW has upped the episode order to 20! Still not a full season, but closer. Let's hope all the midseason replacements all to horribly so they having nothing to replace VM with.
