Cordain gave out a heaving sigh, "Good Nekura...Good..." He chuckled and led Nekura back into the inn and opened up shop so to speak before he moved upstairs and switched into clean, dry clothing. Once changed, he was back downstairs and in the kitchen where he began working on the stew.

Nekura now went upstairs to change, came down to help, too tired and exhausted from training to argue, insult or challenge Cordain, he just went about silently helping in a semi-vacant manner.

"When we finish the stew, you can go bathe and sleep Nekura." Cordain states.

Carol stared at the man slightly as he worked on the stew. Since Sai and Kizzy had left ehr she had only moved to get out her pad of paper and a pen. She waved slightly, flipping over her drawing with her other hand and murmered a shy "Hi" but kept her eyes trained on him afriad she would be scolded for being in the inn alone. "Hows....it...uh...goin?" she asked searching her mind for words. She seemed alot more shacken lately then usual. Before she would have never found it hard to talk, and now she had trouble forming a question. "Um...my names carol..."

Xue-Lien nodded and took the instrument. She plucked several strings and more sounds came out. She was certainly having fun.

Hisakata took out eggs, flour, and stopeed. She walked to the oven and turned the heat up a bit. "Now Iwonder where Xue-Lien is..."

Linnea smiled, her head bobbing in time to the music. She really did enjoy listening to it more than playing it, since she could truly focus on listening once her mind was clear.

Cleaning finished, DS looked over the tea services and frowned, counting. "Hisa-san, did I leave the rose teapot in the kitchen?"

Cordain blinked a couple times before he looked over at Carol, "Hi" he stated calmly, "...Nice to meet you Carol, I'm Cordain, the owner of this inn." he smiled to her in a tired fashion before he looked back to the stew, "It'll be an hour or so before it is ready for consumption."

Carol smiled "Nice to meet you Cordian" she looked back down at the paper in front of her and folded it in half neatly and then turned back to her back and shoved it inside dropping the pen in as well. "Thanks" she murmered as she relized he had spoken to her about stew. She turned back around and sighed. She tried to act calm but she could already feel her engery coming back to her. She twiddled her thumbs slightly and looked around. She would definatly need to do some things today, and soon or else shed loose it.

After watching the well-known paper-filled friends, Lienna sighed and reminded herself of her duties. After all she needed to take care of the injured one, which's state seemed more than bad. But at least she had been able to do her first job in this town and this made her almost cheerful.

Cheerful meant for her that she was content. If Lienna was content she became hungry. She had seen a small town shop on her way back home and so the young woman decided to visit the shopkeeper for a few minutes to buy something delicious. Something she could eat while reading, because she still needed to pick the books she would read while taking care of the injured one.

So Lienna walked out of the door again, locked it this time and blinked several times before forcing herself to go.

"Of course I'll take Shin," Dio called back as he left the farmhouse, letting the door close behind him. It actually hadn't occurred to him not to take Shin. He was so used to the child always trailing along. Readjusting his satchel with one hand, Dio realized he held the seedling firmly but tenderly in one hand. He hadn't even remembered picking it up from the tail. "My two children," Dio mused out loud. "Little one," he shouted out. "It's time to go into town!" The child quickly came running. Shin seemed to be happy outdoors like this. It was good seeing him happy. So much of Shin's time was spent drinking in the dark moods of Shin and Faevan. Maybe a sibling would help; Shin did need to be around other children. Maybe they would run into others on the way into town. That would be nice.

"I'm ready, Papa!" Shin said, pausing to catch his breath as he reached the old rancher. He didn't seem quite as fit as he had in his youth.

"Good, good," Dio responded with a sincere smile. "into town we go, then!" The two -- three actually, Dio reminded himself, holding the blackberry close -- briskly made their way into town, almost skipping through the morning dew. It seemed simpler, easier, lighter today for some reason. Perhaps the adventure with the Fae overshadowed everything else that had happened in the past days. Whatever caused this, Dio hoped this marked a shift towards the better. Dio brought his thoughts back to the present as they approached Miss Rosemary's shop. "Awwe, here we are Shin. Do you think Miss Rosemary might have a treat for you?" Shin's eyes brightened at the sound of a treat.

Lienna saw someone approaching and felt the sudden urge to run back to her little cave of books, dim light and medical objects. But today had been a content day and the woman had received some confidence.

The small figure looked a lot like he was one of these so-called Fae. If she wanted to be the town's doctor she needed to be informed, otherwise nobody would respect her. This imagination made Lienna shiver and so she walked closer towards the pair. What do to ? What to say...ummm...

"Sorry, sir ?" She smiled slightly and looked at the boy friendly. "My name is Lienna and I'm the doctor of the village. I just wanted to introduce myself to you, because you can always feel free to come to the hospital if you have any worries." The doctor paused and waited for a response.

"Papa doesn't get sick. He just sleeps a lot when he feels bad. That's what Auntie Fae Fae says," the child quickly spouted out, wide-eyed looking at the new acquaintance.

Dio chuckled at the young fae's exuberance. "It is nice to meet you, Miss Lienna. My name is Dio. I'm the goatherd. This little one is Shin Daiko, and this other little one," he hoisted the potted blackberry a little higher, "is yet to be named. We were just heading in to Miss Rosemary's shop. Would you care to join us?"

Lienna blinked as she listened to the boy's comment, but smiled. He was a child, he didn't know anything about this yet. "But if anything ever occurs feel free to come over, Shin Daiko."

While wondering who aunt Fae-Fae was supposed to be the young woman nodded. "Oh yes, thank you. I wanted to go there as well to purchase somethingto eat. I'm almost starving." The woman added and made her eyes trail towards the seedling. "You regard plants as a child ?" It just bursted out of her, usually she wouldn't have commented on this.

Dio chuckled despite himself. "I'm sorry for laughing, it's an honest mistake. If i hadn't been raised here or experienced the last few weeks, I'd be shocked myself, I assume." Dio raised the seedling towards Lienna. "Do you see that orb in the center, nestled in with the blackberrys? That meens this is a Fae seedling, and will soon... hatch, I guess you'd call it... and turn into a faeling, sory of like my Shin here.

"Did I look like that, papa?" Shin asked, a look of astonishment on his face.

"Not quite, Little One. I believe each seedling is unique, just like you."

Lienna stared at the violet orb and blinked several times. It looked like a plant...so that was this secret about those strange children. Would be an interesting medical topic anyway. Probably they reacted differently to sunlight ? Or had hormones, which showed reactions from time to time ?

The woman's face was enlighted by a smile. "Do you have any books about these race ? It sounds so interesting. Probably some researches or so ?"
She paused and retreated a bit. "Where can I purchase one of these ?"

His mind wandering as was the case lately, Dio was taken aback. "Purchase... a book or a fae?" Rubbing his head, Dio quickly tried to make sense of the situation. "I don't have any books on the subject, not past my own writings. Miss Rosemary may know how to aquire some, though your best chance would be the library. It has a new librarian, but it has been there almost as long as the town.

"These children sound like an interesting topic. You're beautiful looking, Shin Daiko." The woman added, talking in her irritating way as usual. "I didn't know there's a library in this town, thanks for telling me." Books were her favourite hobby beside her job. It was probably a result of having no friends at all, but it wasn't a too bad one.
