Hello! My name is Faith.
I don't really have an actually favorite book, but the authors that I keep track of are Dennis L. McKiernan, Michelle Sagara, Irene Radford, Sara Douglass, etc. The complete listing is in my profile.
I read Science Fiction/Fantasy more often than any other type of books. Historical comes in second.
Same as Elyon, I have finals coming up in a few weeks, so I have to really start studing, but expect to see me on quiet a bit during Christmas and New Years break! :cute:

Hi hi's! My real name is Nicole (or Niki), but I like Sayuri a lot.
Considering the way I am, I can't exactly say which author/book is my favorite... I tend to love every book I get ahold of (unless it's really lame, like some of the Goosebumps books).
I'm a huge fan of Shakespeare. I have been since I was in 8th grade. But so many other authors write really good stuff, and my genre switches as fast as my moods. I agree with Ice Cream Pie about the His Dark Materials collection... I liked those books a lot...
Anyway, I'm also a writer of many short stories (and incomplete long ones, like my almost 300 page fantasy story and other 20-30 page freewriting results). Hopefully, someday, someone out there will be reading my books...
That'd be nice.
...Ummm... yeah. That's about it for now.
~Sayuri~

Hi! I prefer you call me Nutmeg or something like that. I really am a big sucker for Hardy Boys Casefiles and I don't know why. But I pretty much read any book I can get my hands on. My favorite author is Stephenie Meyer (but Tamora Pierce come in a close second). And my favorite book is Twilight Stephenie Meyer. I am not really a big fan a writing myself unless it is poems. I think that is it.

My name is Alyssa ^w^
My favorite books: Twilight and New Moon. Lovely books.
My favorite author: J. K. Rowling. I have the utmost respect for her because she started at a coffee shop, writing on napkins.
I find it odd that writing comes so naturally to me, but it does. It's fun to get done with english papers before everyone else, and then be able to just watch as they struggle with writing it. I'm so mean >w<

Im Cali. My favorite book is between Cirque Du Freak, The Lizzie Logan books, Annie on My Mind, and the Nancy Drew Books. I love them all. My favorite Author is Darren Shan.
A little bit about me is that Im 15 and Im in 9th grade. Im constantly spotted in the library at school whenever I get the chance. If there was a library near my hometown, I'd be there until it closed also. I just love being in a library and being around all those books. It soothes me. I get a new book each week and am finished with it within a week or a week in a half. I have alot of spare time so I usually read. My favoriter book genres are Fantasy, Horror, and Romance. I also like to read different kinds of books like I own a German book. I dont understand it but I still read it. I also like to read mangas like Fruits Basket, Read or Die, Chobits, Azumanga Daioh, and others. I also like to write my own stories.

Greetings. I'm known by many names, I'd prefer it if one came up for their own name for me rather than learn the real one. It's pretty simple as to why: I like it when people think. Even if it takes just a moment, thinking up a name for someone just shows that you took the time to consider them as an idividual. Or some nonsense like that; that I don't think I'd like to get into explaining at the moment. x33 I turned 16 in November, though I'd rather not brag about it. Time is something that troubles me. x_X Erhm.. Some of the things I'm passionate about are as follows: Photography, literature, writing, music, traveling, opinions, art(any form), people, "why?" (just as a general curiosity), and how each individual's mind works. I've also got quite a thing for the rain .. o.o If you care, my profile says some more about me; although it's long and annoying so beware.
I adore reading anything made up of words. Or hey, for the further creative; symbols! Heh. Books are necessary for me to live. I can't say I have one favourite author, however I'm currently hooked on Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series; in the epic fantasy genre. His novels are huge; I recently finished the second which was just under one thousand pages. There are many books in his series, which is good, because I don't like the ending of a good book. ;P The way he writes is fantastic-- the detail in imagery, his use of metaphor and relating to society without making it obvious is amazing. Dan Brown; I absolutely deteste the way he writes, but adore the way he thinks, as well as his ideas. Ray Bradbury's Farenheit 451 My GOD that was wonderful. He has such a way with words, and scaring the hell out of someone who never thinks about the future. I read it over three years ago, and his message still plays over and over in my mind. Anne Rice writes fantastically as well. She tends to capture passion and desire quite .. -Cough.- Nicely. Ehm.. I've only read Interview With the Vampire; however I intend on purchasing others from her as soon as I get out of the house. x_x There's also this book titled Proteus that I put down about a month ago and finally found it again .. it's by a man named Morris West. His thinking when it came to this novel is very out of the ordinary. Robert Frost is probably my favourite poet when it comes down to it, I just thought I'd add that in there. I could read his work for hours. I'm not religious; I'd rather live by my own laws. And yet, I'm also reading the bible. Why? Hmmm.. wink
I enjoy conversation, so don't be shy. I think I am far too often. ._. Alright, then.
