Tou gave a funny look as the hermit crab scuttled along, into the palms of Dora.
"Hey Irwin, I 'ought you were a professional crab wrangler? Shouldn't you know all about different crabs?" she asked, giggling at the little crab waving it's legs around.

"Um... yeah." Irwin nods seriously. "This little one here is a hermit crab, and she's a little beauty! Have a look at this little sheila!"
Irwin cautiously takes a paw and attempts to touch the crab, which in turn attempts to snap at him. He yelps and darts behind Dora. "Oh, she's a feisty one all right!"

Tou burst out laughing; she just couldn't help it.
"R-really?" she managed to say, wobbling around on the sand.

Dora smirks and sets the crab back down on the sand. It starts heading towards Irwin, who whimpers and slowly backs away.
"Easy mate, easy..." Irwin keeps his eyes glued on the crab, just in case it should decide to leap up and latch onto his ear or something.

Watching the crab much like Irwin, Tou trotted over to it, just as it was scuttling nearer the child.
She picked it up, making it flail hundreds of tiny legs in the air. Tou examined it, turning it over and over again, not aware of the distress it must be in.

Irwin watches Tou, impressed by her crab-handling skills but still rather concerned by the crab's sharp little pinchers. "Careful mate, she might n** ya."

Tou nodded at Irwin. "Yep, I will. She has sharp little pincers there, don't she?"
Tou blinked a little, as a little sand got lodged in her eye. Then she thought for a while, turning to Irwin.
"Hey, how'd you know it's a she?"

"Um... well..." Irwin shifted uncomfortably.
Dora stood behind him, arms crossed and a smirk on her face. 'This oughtta be good,' she thought to herself.
"You can tell it's a girl crab because, um, it's little." Irwin nodded and hoped that Tou would be satisfied with his answer.

Aiden continued to splash happily. However, he soon grew bored. After all, he didn’t have anyone to play with! Vaguely, he wondered where Calli was and if he would see her soon. Maybe she would play with him? Even though he was an adult, Aiden still liked to have fun. He also felt more comfortable with Skull Monkeys that he knew. He knew Calli better than any of the others on this trip, except for maybe Tou, and she was off with someone else.
Feeling neglected, Aiden trotted over to where Roxy sat on her blanket, soaking wet and slightly sulky. The goth quickly scooped her depressed son into her arms and squeezed, ignoring his wet fur. Aiden felt a little better. “Mum! I don’t have anyone to play with. . .” he said, trying not to whine about it. He was supposed to be a mature adult, not an infant SM.
“Go with Tou!”
“She’s playing with someone else. . .”
“Go play with Calli!”
“I can’t find her. . .”

Mauli drove up to the beach entrance in her new car(donated generously by Lenta's new boyfriend, Jekyll ;D), then swung the door open and tossed her adopted sibling out.
"And next time, don't scratch the leather!" She yelled, slamming the door shut and driving off in a cloud of dust.
Remy coughed, a malicious smile on his face, then turned and trotted down the beach. "OI, AUNTY CHRISSY!" He yelled, spotting his aunt-of-no-relations stretched out on her towel.

Roxy smiled as Remy stepped out of the car, waving happily and pushing Aiden lightly off of her. Eager to see his cousin (maybe he would play with him for a bit?) Aiden trotted after her.
“So, how are you, Remy?” Roxy asked happily. “Come to join us? I’ve got some snacks in the cooler if you’re hungry.”
“I think I’ll have some too,” Aiden put in. “I haven’t eaten yet.”
Roxy was, she had to admit, a little worried about Aiden and Remy. They did not know each other that well, and Mauli and Lenta had confided in her that he was a little. . . well. . . stuck up. Intelligent, like Aiden was, but stuck up all the same.
Ah well, she had to give him the benefit of the doubt.

A huge grin appeared on Jamie's face as she heard the sound of a car parking. She turned her head quickly, and to her surprise saw Mauli in a .. car with Remy?
She waved, rather confused.

"Yeah... Mauli wanted me out of the house while she got ready for some friends to come over." Remy snorted, padding towards his aunt and cousin. Then, another grin spread over his face, one that wasn't tainted with evil.
'I'm not too hungry, but thanks for the offer!' He said happily, sitting at Roxy's feet.

“Awww. . . Poor Remy. . . I can’t believe Mauli kicked you out of the house!” Roxy bent down, reaching out a hand to stroke Remy’s head. “How rude of her! She should have let you stay. . . Well, since you’re here, we’ll make the best of it. Poor thing. . .” Roxy immediately felt pity for the rather rude Skull Monkey (In her eyes, he was, of course, her perfect little nephew), and decided to show it.
Aiden, however, suspected that Remy was not as angelic as Roxy seemed to think he was. But, he didn’t seem THAT bad. Maybe he’d be fun to play with. “Do you want to go for a swim with me, Remy? I was in earlier, the water’s nice,” he asked shyly, looking at his paws in an embarrassed sort of way.
Meanwhile, Roxy had seen Jamie waving at her, and had waved back. “He’s my nephew,” she called over, beaming proudly. “You know Remy well enough as it is. . . I love him.”
