Well, I'unno. She seems to luff me a lot, and respect my differences. But I can understand if some of you have had negative experiences with her, considering that was my first impression.
I've had worse encounters. I mean, she treats me with respect. I've met people who, well. Don't. I mean, the way ya'll feel about her is how I feel about some of the other pro-choicers who won't even get near a pro-lifer.
I've been bashed in my early Gaia experience by someone who I really don't respect. Later on, I tried to comment on this person's profile, saying something nice. I told them that I liked their profile and their avatar. They deleted my comment because I simply was pro-life, and for negative experiences in the past.
But you know what? I'm a forgiving person. She's the one that's going to be pissed and angry for the rest of her life.

>____> How do you deal with being called an anti-choicer all the time? Because she does. I've never seen her call anyone who disagrees with her anything other than something degretory. Maye she doesn't really have this God complex where she's decided she's the ruler of all and knows everything so therefore everyone who disagrees with anything she says must not only be wrong, but an idiot (because people who are different are idiotic and evil. We all know this. Just listen to her, she's the queen of intolerance, it seems. Close enough to it). She acts like it though.

I don't. I hate it, actually. I hate having what I stand for rediculed in banners and words of hatred and mockery . . .
I'm not defending her from what she's said about Catholic pro-lifers like me. I've seen the pro-choice guild. I know what they say. I've cried, sometimes, over what they've said. Because people who I treasured and thought would stand up and say, "Hey, we can rant and rave all we want, but this is sinking too low" remained silent, or chimed in. It hurts.
I don't know who to stand up for anymore. *sigh*

how could you honestly call this person a good friend is they are this horrible? i mean, it's not like she's just strongly pro-choice. i know people like that, and so long as they don't act stupid about it, i don't care. but she is not one of those people- she relies on insults, race and general hatred. she insults the pro-life movement so blatantly... again, to see a pro-lifer not only be friends with her, but to call her decent, would be quite similar to a black man going out for a drink with a klansman.

I don't know who to stand up for anymore. *sigh* *hugs* That's what I mean. I used to be able to deal with it. But watching people that I've defended in the past stand up and trash me isn't easy. And having them continually do it, knowing it's mean to me, without me retaliating just feels like abuse. It's taking all of this crap from someone who seems to enjoy hurting people and not striking back in defense at all. You can walk away from something and try to ignore things and say, "Well I'm not taking this person seriously," but I cling so long because I think everyone deserves to be taken seriously. I shouldn't. I should just say, "I'm ignoring this person, she needs to learn how to treat others and I'm not going to let this get to me." But I find it very hard to just dismiss what other people say about particular things in one subject without dismissing what they say about everything in that subject.

...
sometimes I want to quit my minishop. Just leave. I wouldn't give a girl something free, so she said "******** u." how mature!
now I'm miles behind work because I maybe sorta collapsed today and hit my head on the floor. It might be the heat, or that Terje's here so I'm running around, or it might just be the lyme, but whatever it is, it ended up leaving me with a throbbing headache. Now I feel so guilty because one guy keeps PMing me asking when his order will be done.
GAH! RANT! RANT RANT RANT! RANT!
So I was looking through past PMs and things from the early days that I'd saved into notepad on this computer, back when I first opened shop, and found the one where someone said she was boycotting me after I put the guild link in my signature.
It's not like the freaking money is even going towards the guild!
It's made me decide though that any time I'm going to donate to a guild or something, I'll put a warning up in my shop so people can boycott if they don't want their gold funding CHristians or Lifers or Trekkies. I just don't want to deal with it again.
I deleted it with all the rest of the crud that was just taking up space, because I really don't need to keep going back in time and getting worked up, but I'm apparently sneaky and underhanded for running a shop without warning I'm pro-life. rolleyes
How evil of me. I run a shop which has nothing to do with my beliefs (except maybe for the awesomeness of cats), earn gold that goes towards getting an AFK (I can see exactly how that can be construed as tearing down women's rights! AFKs are oppressive!), and yet, I should mention, "Oh by the way guys, I'm pro-life." When does that enter into it? Should I just wear a huge fetus pin so people know?
No, you know what? I'm going to save up for a flashion rose and keep it on all my outfits.

sad Well I hope your head gets better soon, at least. You really should avoid hitting your head on the floor. sweatdrop
And as for the rest of that, screw 'em. If they are going to be bigotted and boycott you because you are Pro-Life, then who needs their money? And more importantly, do you really want your kittens to go to bigotted jerks? You know that pets are supposed to take on the traits of their owners. 3nodding

Crap. Apparently my sister supports Planned Parenthood. We talked about it for a little bit on the phone, but for some reason I got all heated up inside from what she said about them. We are definitely complete opposites on the subject. evil

What'd she say, dear?
@Lyme: What Andy said. Screw those jerks. The kitties should belong to people who are nice and respectful and kind. They don't deserve any of your services if they label you and boycott you because of said label. That's just "Dee-dee-dee!"
God, some people . . . >___>

lymelady But I won't give them their dental plan scream xd That'd be why they are forming a union! I mean, come one, it isn't even that expensive for kittens; Don't they have, like, teeth cleaning toys or biscuits or something? That'd be awesome if they made those for humans. whee It'd be this little rubber thing that cleans your teeth from you chewing it, I'd just go around with one in my mouth all day and be like, "Yeah, I'm just trying to get my teeth clean."
