The mage had put up a rather uneffective fight as he was dragged from the safety of the horses and up to the side of the house. A ring of soilders where pulling a small rope of diamonds and using it to leash up the Nalima, who had now a fresh ring of corpses slain on the ground around it, even if one of it's wings where torn and laying like a discarded jacket on the ground. Artemis was not in any better situation, as the mage was being pushed ahead through a ring of gaurds that was set up around the side of the house, blocking off her.
Furious. How could a commander of his stature be tossed to the ground like some disabled child and then his attacker be so much of a coward to run off without punishment. Though he didn't know where the filthy lizard went, he had a target more than ready for his now fresh aggresion. Dusting himself off, he strutted out of the inn and outside, making his way to the muse.

Sortha looked at the general. "If I where you I would leave me alone. That is if you wish to see another day," Sortha said in a cold voice. She now wished she stayed back where she was but then it would be fun fighting for once. After all she had not fought some one in a long while most of the other people knew she is a fairy so theres nothing to lose.
((it looks like Its usefull being a muse sometimes lol))

Kitasu, not seeing the girl in her room, rushed to the window and looked down. A very impolite word escaped her mouth as she spotted the girl backed up against the wall, with soldiers closing her in. She reached for her satchel to get her magic rope -- and then realized the bag was tied to the Grunty, which was tied to the post that... wasn't there. The infallibly stupid animal must have run off somewhere, with the post in tow, when the Namila broke.
But there was no time to try and think of some kind of plan. As it was, she had wasted too much time just to realize she didn't have a rope that would have been very, very handy right now. The soldiers were getting dangerously close, and soon she wouldn't be able to help at all.
So she jumped out of the window.
Since it was only the second story of the inn, she landed safely, causing only a moderate indentation where she touched the ground. She took care to land at least a few feet in front of the woman, giving her enough room to do something if she choose. Kitasu whipped her scimitar out from its scabbard on her back and held it in a ready position, with the sword held to her left side with both hands, almost treating it as a katana. She glared at the soldiers, and set her eyes on the mage. Soldiers she could handle without much trouble, but magic was not her forte, and most mages -- especially ones as slimy as this creature -- were unpredictable and without any sense of honor in battle. She only hoped Artemis had an idea of what these men were capable of, and would have the sense to act appropriately to defend herself.
She waited, alert, watching the mage as well as the soldiers, and with an ear cocked toward Artemis. Hopefully the girl would have sense enough to tell her something about what was going on, or what to do, or why the %*@& she runs around with angry, arrogant generals and grotesque mages chasing after her with dozens, if not hundreds, of soldiers running around scaring Grunteys and banging doors open and otherwise making a ruckus.

Artemis did have her cane, but it might as well be a pillow with the armour and weapons Ren's army had. Speaking of which, the smug commander had made his presence know with a wide smirk and ordering his men, while walking up to the nervous Mage. Just looking at him made her blood boil. A blur shot infront of her, blocking her gaze of Ren, and scaring her out of her skin. First she thought someone aimed a cannon at her, but saw that the dragon beast girl from before had jumped out of her room window, and was now standing battle ready in her own crater.
A pang of guilt and fear shot through the muse, to see that she was now going to be responsible for three deaths, including her own and the Nalima's. However, as desperation set in, a sick thought came to her mind. There was no time, and even little to think about. So, curing herself, she rushed up and jumped.
A soft warm surronded Kitasu, and even though it was odd, she felt that there was someone there. And in response, she head a voice in her head.
Sorry about this. But if I say anything, Ren can counter it.

Kitasu flinched as she heard the voice. Whoa! She hadn't heard voices often in her life, but whenever she did it was always important, for good or for bad. She didn't particularly like the feeling of someone's presence so close to her -- it reminded her of a time she barely escaped possession by a shade, except this time it was warm instead of cold. But she gritted her teeth and bared it. After all, if the girl had already apologized, there was no use being angry about it. Hopefully she knew what she was doing, because Kitasu sure didn't.
Repressing more memories that threatened to flood her relating to voices, Kitasu looked straight ahead. She spotted the arrogant, pompous @$$ of a commander standing near the slimy mage as if he had the world under his control. Her ear twitched; she was really beginning to dislike that guy.
She wanted to turn around and ask the muse what to do, but she had a distinct feeling that the girl was no longer there. So instead, she waited for the voice in her head to tell her something, or at least explain what it meant by what it had said before. After all, Kitasu had already spoken to the commander, assuming that's who the voice meant -- what use would it be to talk to him any more anyway? She couldn't make sense of it, so she ignored it, hoping the voice would clarify for her now or later. Right now she had to focus on the army, anyway.

"This is the Susino army. More specifically, a special branch of the main. They know most everything in tracking, hunting, and capturing rare beings. If it's out there, they probably have it in a cage or something of that nature. Ren is the commander, you aready met him. He's the brains, and though he's small minded, he's still sly. Though the army is armed and protected by thick armour, they're not invincible. It's the mage that you have to worry about. Even though he's yellow, he packs a wallop. I say knock Ren back to make the troops worry, and then let the mage run for his life. Just because he is with them, doesen't mean he wants to be here. After that, I saw run for the hills. " Came the voice.

Kitasu's eye twitched at the word "capturing." Her ears set flat back against her head, and she let out a low, menacing growl. It was all she could do to contain herself until the voice was done. At that point, she was through with waiting.
Her eyes flashed as she pulled out a small dagger from under her sleeve. Without warning, she threw it at the commander's pompous head. While the dagger was flying, she advanced a step and slashed at him in an uppercut with her scimitar, then prepared to parry his sword if she needed to.

Sortha was now angery at the old general for just siting there and so she got up and walked to the door. "move out of my way now," she said in an unplesant tone to the troops that where by the door.

"Aw. Your no fun." Said the general to Sortha. He rose from his seat. "Now I can let a fragile maid like yourself go outside and be harmed. Why don't you just come and take a seat." He said, his voice more slippery then his teeth.
Ren went wide eyed before he slipped out his sword to counter the slash. The mage made a 'eep' at the clash of metal, and the troops stood at the ready, waiting for Ren to ask for help, which wouldn't happen right now.

Sortha turned and stared at the general with disgust. "There are two things you need to know about me. The 1st thing is I could care less about what you can or cant do. The 2nd thing is im far from fragile and if you dont tell these pathetic troop to move you will find out what I mean." Sortha said bitterly. Sortha did not wish to fight. She never really liked fighting but she was not going to sit in a room when there where people she could almost call friends outside in harms way.

"Ohh Ho Ho." Said the general, raising his hands up and smiling. He gave a smile to the other general, who was drinking at the bar. "This one has claws." He said, and turned back to her. "Don't be like that. I wouldn't have to hurt you."

Since Ren didn't pay very much attention to the flying dagger that was headed towards his face, it flew far too close for comfort, cutting off some of his hair and nicking his ear painfully. It was too bad she hadn't aimed it right at his face, instead of as a distraction.
But Kitasu wasn't thinking about that right now, since she was fighting. She did, however, reflect on how lucky she was to forget to transform out of her battle form, even though it had been inconvient for her earlier. Now it just might win this fight.
She grinned as she met his sword. Of course he parried, she would have been disappointed if he hadn't. She held it for half a moment, pushing against him just enough so she had resistance, then whipped the sword out of the way, turned sideways to dodge the possible blade coming her way, and attempted to jam her elbow into his midback, watching what he did with his sword the whole time so she could counter any unpleasant surprises.

"Don't be like that. I wouldn't have to hurt you." Sortha turned to face him and laughed. "You really think you can harm me that easy do you? Phisical pain is nothing to me any more, it can not harm me. I have been in more pain then you could imagine and anything you can do to me is nothing compared to some of the stuff I have been threw. I can be deadly when fighting and I will show you what I mean if you don’t tell your troops to move NOW!" Sortha said moving her hand to her hip.

The general was getting bored. This girl was way too much mouth then he wanted, and he just dismissed her. "Go." He said, as if it was his choice, and never hers.
It wasn't Ren's slash to her underbelly that was comming that was the biggest threat, but a blazing green circle of magic induced fire that circled her that was causing the most problem. Not only blinding with it's light, it's heat was unbearable, melting armour or skin if it came too.

Kitasu, after jamming her clawed elbow into the general's back armor, punching a hole through it, growled as she spotted green flickers of fire uncomfortablely close to her. She hated mages! They were always interfering in fights without permission, making unnatural fire, and generally causing a ruckus. She met Ren's sword, and reflected for just half a moment on how the mage had circled them both. He must not particularly like his commander. But the thought was fleeting, and she was back to the fight again. Her hold against Ren was weak as she didn't have any leverage -- she would have to think fast to get out of this position.
So she did. She brought her left leg in front of his foot, then used her elbow to push him down, tripping him at the same time. If it worked, she would quickly turn around and hold her sword to the commander's throat.
