Albite Heard 'Hunters Grace and Honking' - flash of bow and his gaze whipped around to catch the secondary flash of 'too ******** fast' - fowl Mother of a Goose - and he hadn't invited her into the party. Hadn't asked her to cut the ******** in on his slow dance, and yet?
There she was.
He would've said as much, except as soon as he'd thought to blink she was on him. Linebacker strong, and he snarled as she took him off his feet, put him down.
His s**t rocked, his teeth rattled, Albite tasted dirt. Air expelled explosively from his lungs in a clenched hiss as he felt the grit of earth dig into his exposed flesh where the grass wasn't playing the role of a buffer. Ripped the squeezing boa of a tether that tied him to Cybele taught, where it pulled against him and her from the force of the Goslings hit; damned to hell if he was loosing her so soon.
Spots in his vision - but his reaction was animal - wrap around whatever had him down - get his hands on it and swing for the ******** fences with a fist. He could punch things and bleed at the same time - could suck in too little air and offer up his retort with blows. Dejavu of being on his back and how badly that ended for him half the time; even if he looked damn good that way.

Chibi Super Charybdis, Senshi of Seals - absolutely exe
It was Chaos. It was all Chaos. Charybdis hated it. She was sobbing, and a senshi (Monoceros) had arrived, and there were quills, and the Lieutenants were escaping, and she clung to Ara when the older Chibi pulled her head into her shoulder, small hands clutching at her friend's back, feeling them shake.
The fact that some of the Bad-Feel senshi- Tegmine, Acubens, Lacerta, and Ariadne- had come to help protect her and Ara wouldn't be forgotten; and as flames spurted, tentacles flailed, a dragon flew away, quills fell like rain, and a Chaos senshi braced to protect their retreat, Charybdis was spirited away.
Over Tegmine's shoulder as they rushed away, Charybdis blinked and stared at the sight of a page being lifted into the air on a pole, a red curtain of- oh.
Oh, she didn't want to see anymore.
Closing her eyes and focusing on the warm feeling of the arms around her, the skinny chibi curled in on herself like a pup.
Quote:
Charybdis is OUT, y'all; thanks for the trauma. Follow up rps is be cool.
It was when those damn tentacles popped up again (seriously, how many of these did this senshi have??) that Jet made sure to teleport back and out of their slimy reach. He’d already struck her with his blade and he wasn’t in the mood for that other attack she used on him before that seemed to make it easier for her to determine where he would appear next.
Faustite was still a pillar of fire, and it looked as though Ashanite was gathering up his recruits to retreat, and that he and Faustite and Jet would handle the rest.
Like hell he was going to help handle the rest.
“Handle the rest yourself! You let youma loose in the park and there’s Lieutenants and our Senshi in the area! What is wrong with you?” Jet barked at Ashanite, and really hoped that Faustite was done dealing with this guy, too. He had more important things to do. Like make sure his recruit who couldn’t teleport wasn’t getting attacked by some rogue youma.
He’d already heard what happened with Cymophane’s brother. He didn’t want a repeat. Cymophane could handle himself, but there were too many distractions.
There was some movement going on with the Squire that they were apparently there for, but Jet was already at the end of his patience with that night. He teleported near where he last left Cymophane.
He was momentarily relieved that there were no youma attacking Cymophane. And then immediately annoyed again that this was all for a ******** Squire, apparently.
“We’re leaving, Cymophane,” he said, ignoring the Pages and Senshi that seemed to be around. He didn’t wait for them to protest and reached for his recruit’s arm to teleport away.

Dark Mirror Eternal Acubens -- C3 Quills were flying. Youma were soaring overhead. Faustite was fire. And there was a squire screaming as an officer impaled them. This was too much. It was too close. Everything was too loud. Acubens could feel panic welling up inside her but she swallowed it down. She whipped her head around at the chaos all around her, made a quick judgment call, and said, "get on my back. We've got an opening to get out now, but if we miss it, then that's it."
If they missed it Acubens would have to book it out without magic, and there was no guarantee that she'd be able to do so without incident. At least with her super attack, she'd bowl over anyone in her way.
Next to her, Lacerta was taking charge. Later, Acubens would be proud. She was proud now, but later she would be able to really feel it. She'd come so far, and now here she stood, fearless in the thick of battle. Right now, however, beyond pride, she was terrified. It had been so long since Acubens had seen real battle, not just the odd youma scrap. She'd forgotten how horrifying it was. She wanted to get them both out of there, get them both home, and go home herself.
She wanted to curl herself around Lavender and shake and sob and take a day -- no, a whole week off.
But that was for later. Now was the time to fight enough to be able to flee.
---
Dark Mirror Tegmine -- C3 The page trusted Tegmine, and he intended to live up to that. He nodded at him when he gestured and lifted Charybdis into arms, still curled protectively around her.
And then he ran. He ran until his chest was on fire and he thought his legs would give out. He wasn't a runner like Acubens. He didn't have the stamina to go as long or as hard as she did. But he kept going. Behind him Acubens and Lacerta and the basic they were protecting got smaller and smaller. He focused, instead, on the ordered feeling he was following, the sighed of him in front, leading the way.
"Don't look," he muttered, to both the child in his arms and to himself. "Don't look."
He pressed her head down into his shoulder and kept running.
...for all that there had certainly been calls made about needing to support someone on the Order side of things, Polyhymnia was starting to question if she hadn't interrupted an illicit rendezvous.
But then there was someone else approaching -- approaching and falling into the mud as she had, causing her to let out a snort, hand covering her mouth as she did so.
Still, aside from taking in the appearance of the other man, she didn't comment, instead looking from Arsenolite to Houshi and back again. "Are...we even allowed to do that?" She sounded genuinely curious. Battles...weren't her strong suit, never had been, probably never would be. "I mean, I'm sure someone would enjoy the fact that some of us are covered in mud..."
Then things changed quite suddenly -- instead of the sort of awkward pause that hung in the air, there was now actual fighting happening...except it didn't look like a fight so much as a murder, Polyhymnia's eyes widening as she looked from Houshi, spear casually thrust through her body, her chest, to the Captain standing behind her, the one who held the weapon in question.
Polyhymnia was not brave. Nor was she adept at anything that should be helpful in that moment. Color quickly drained from her face as she let out a scream, loud and high pitched, her footing unsteady as she took a step, two back, her shoulder hitting the tree she had been holding onto before.
As one Page fell, and another rushed forward, as the Lieutenant seemed to be just as distraught as if he were on the side of Order, she didn't know what to do. She'd had very little training, after all, and nothing in her civilian life could've prepared her for this. And it wasn't as if she could use the magic welling up within her -- it would only draw attention to her, and given how the Captain was speaking? She already had that attention.
"What do you think you're doing?! I don't think a stick is going to do any damage." Her voice sounded a lot steadier than she felt, slipping in the mud as she moved to rush at Atheneite after Læraðr, though she herself had no weapon, only her gloved hands. Nor did she think she would do much good -- but she needed to get between the Chaos Captain and the fallen Page.
Even if the Page died, Polyhymnia wasn't going to just leave her to be taken away by the enemy, after all. Not if she could do something about it.
Not that she expected to be able to, but she couldn't just run, not now--

Super Sailor Hydrus, DMC of Leviathans - B5
He watched as Krakenlady and Acubens ran off because of someone screaming mommy and ran a hand down his face. These.... these people. All of them. His own court, the Negaverse, the White Moon, just what in the actual---
That was a dragon. And a man set himself on fire. A man. Was on. Fire.
Then there was another scream, this time behind him, and Hydrus saw the faint glint of red against metal and there was a page on a spear.
Hydrus emptied the contents of his stomach on the ground and looked to the rest of the Dark Mirror Court around him, those that were left.
"Get out of here. Now. We've already had one White Moon senshi try to kill us, and the Negaverse is turning bloodthirsty. You can take it up with Remarque later, but we are leaving. If you cannot mirrorwalk, follow me." His voice was stern, hard, and livid but not at any of his court. Not even Acubens or Logos. He gave one last look at the chaos around them, and started off. "Get the cat out of the tree and get the hell out of here, even you Cosmos Page."
Hydrus Exit
Quote:
Hydrus is trying to get as many of the DMC out of the chaos as possible, but he has about > < this much authority so take that as you will!
Irkalla stepped forward to try and protect the General from Hydor and his kicky-feeties. Pendour, of course, being almost as large if not larger than Titanite herself, was draped bodily over the General, holding her down. And that cute little Tikal kept looking around nervously. From where she lay Shar couldn't see that other one (Sumner), but it felt like they were still lurking about like a gremlin- weird, wicked ginger.
"You are right, my lovely Irkalla," Titanite said sweetly, "This is enough. Let those nasty men go away and leave us ladies alone in peace. They can go die in battle or whatever it is testosterone fuels them to enjoy."
She did not make any effort to move out from under Pendour, instead stretching her body out like a happy cat, ignoring all the screams and the rumbles, and the fighting. "Nasty, nasty whirlwind man. So aggressive." Teal eyes peeked at him from under Pendour's body and thick eyelashes. "No one is innocent, little senshi, and the sooner you consider how dirty your own hands are, the sooner we can all be friends."
But things were going south, not far away from where they were, and the longer Titanite stayed here comfortably, the more likely it was that someone would see her enjoying herself and yell at her for not actually doing anything to help. "Well, my dear new friends, it has been a pleasure. I do hope we can fight again sometime. But alas, I cannot stay with you any more. Please try not to die, that would be very unfortunate."
Eyes rolling up at Irkalla, Titanite's smile was almost normal, not slimy or anything. "A pleasure to see you again, my dear. We should catch up soon."
Under Pendour, Titanite's body vanished as she teleported away, leaving the Squire behind. Oh, she could have probably kidnapped her new weighted blanket, but it would be better to leave Hydor confused by the fact Titanite had done literally nothing.

General Chambersite - Gone (either with both/one/none)
Well, he was a bit more than surprised that the Lieutenant and Senshi were willing to help him fight. He would have expected that more from any subordinates that directly reported to him. Well, he would have to reward them then. He couldn't let them get injure for no reason, especially for a reason being as silly as attempting a forced corruption.
He immediately summoned his rapier as the Senshi attempted to kick him in the side after his hadn't worked and tried to maneuver it so that it went slightly under the protruding leg at an angle. Enough to get cut at least.
It was hard to when the cat was attempting to rip open his boots and get at his skin. The thought that first came to mind was attempting to shake off the cat or hit it with his rapier, but that would allow the Senshi to continue his attack. And he saw something from the corner of his eye, he saw the Corrupt attempting to kick the cat. He would just have to deal with the pain for now. He didn't become a General by avoiding it!
And the Lieutenant appeared to be going after the Eternal as well, at least with her "weapon". That left the Page, if he decided to be any trouble.
Before they could really get to fighting the Senshi however, it appeared to have all gone to chaos. Most were now leaving, including Order. He couldn't help but sigh at the situation. "You two. We are going. Now. Ashanite is going to have to figure this out on his own. You won't be proving anything to anyone if you stay here." He said, grabbing the two of them and teleporting away. He had wanted to say more, but the priority was getting the both of them out of here if possible. It was Ashanite's idea to create this situation by force. He would have to deal with it.

Sailor Mizuki, Senshi of Lilacs - G4
It had been impulse to react upon seeing the agent in front of her. Anything to keep her from being stabbed or hit or worse. There was so much going, and so many different things flying. Mizuki was sure she'd seen tentacles erupt from the ground across the park, and there a smell like sulfur and smoke in the air now. It was all too much to take in, and her magic seemed to have an effect on the agent.
Not that she was particularly sure what that effect was. Mizuki had read up a little about lilacs and their meanings, but it definitely didn't seem like it caused any sort of pain. Perhaps reminders of innocence? At the very least, the agent was kept busy for long enough for her to look around and get a sense of the fighting around them. For you know, anyone who'd seen her and was trying to charge at her.
A high pitched scream echoed across the park, and there was a roar - was... was that a dragon?! Mizuki's eyes went wide and she clung to the tree next to her with glove covered fingers. What was ... going on even? What had she stumbled into? Why had she answered this call? Why did she get herself into this mess?
A porcelain saucer slammed into the back of her head and Mizuki tumbled forward, crashing on the ground. Oh no, oh no ohnoohnoohno
The petals were gone and the agent was pissed off. She could only try to scramble away and get back on her feet before the agent pounced on her.
Oh no oh no oh nooh help me!

Squire Sumner
Sumner grumbled to himself as he put his harp away. Clearly it wasn't going to be used now. It hadn't been useful at any point that he had attempted. As much as he didn't want to fight, he also wanted to believe that his magic was at least helpful in this war.
The General had done what she had wanted to and Pendour had stayed right on top of her. Before he could even attempt to try to get into the battle it had gotten to the point where one could barely tell what was going on.
And then the auras started to fade away. Something was wrong, he wasn't sure what it was though. There was the yelling, which was the usual, and then it appeared that the General had vanished, all without throwing a fist. He supposed it was something that Pendour had hoped for but...
He took a look around, attempting to see what was going on through the trees and was that... smoke or fire? He looked at the transcended Squire. "Pendour, this is bad. We need to either look to see if anyone needs help or get out of here."

Sparta Page of Mars - F5
He was tempted to say something really nerdy like 'BREAK YOURSELF UPON MY BODY" now that he was encased in a shell, but that seemed more likely to get his a** kicked. Sparta figured he could actually take it in this, but Athalia's magic wouldn't last forever. If he was gunna get a good hit in and push the General back, now was the time.
"You can try, lady, but I think you'll find I'm a bit more durable than that!" he said, taking the spear in both hands like a quarterstaff. He was not like the other knights with their fancy magic, but where he lacked in magic or real weaponry, he made up with strength. He bared his teeth in a wild grin - not that anyone could see - and charged the General like a linebacker charges a quarterback. He couldn't get hurt, right now at least, and if he could tackled her to the ground, he could probably pin her down. Maybe knock her out.
He aimed a feint for her face, then dropped the bottom of the spear into her midsection with the full weight of his body behind it.
Hydor found himself staring with quite a level of intense curiosity and anger at what was going on behind him, drawn back into the conversation by the general--Titanite--still somehow claiming she was innocent.
Nasty.
He smirked.
Let her think he was nasty, he hardly gave a s**t. If it kept her away from him, good-- his face twisted and he found himself letting out a low growl when she accused him of having dirty hands. Sure, he wouldn't deny that taking a more aggressive approach occasionally dirtied hands. It was also a deserved reaction to a faction that stole and ate literal souls, to a faction that took away his friends' parents and made them into literal monsters, to a faction that wove itself in and thought that stealing people to make them into puppets was an acceptable use of time.
He had also gone through too much to keep sitting by and let it happen.
He opened his mouth to give her what for, but she was -- gone.
Literally gone.
He stood blankly for a moment, mouth agape as he tried to figure out where his mind was, and decided he was about to reveal far too much to total strangers and bottled it back up under the storms and the waves. He heard Sumner, glanced behind him.
Somehow, that s**t had only gotten worse.
Maybe he actually agreed with the squires.
"Look, I," he felt odd making an offer, but looking over behind him both scared him and made him wanted to take intensive notes so he knew which people to watch out for and tell everyone to stay away from, "probably got one more use of that whirlwind ability. Acts as a shield. Uh. Think there's anyone we can still ******** help over there or should we just get the ******** out?"
Caer made a noise of distress. There were so many people here, and they were all in danger because of her, and she had to run--but she couldn't seem to make her legs work. Fear had overwhelmed her, and her hand ached, and--
And as Hyperborea scooped her up, she turned, and saw a spear pass through a Page in the distance, and her horror made her gasp.
At least the Generals seemed to be retreating. Whatever solidarity they had, it was gone.
She shielded her eyes when Hype put her down, and nodded assent to the plan to escape.
"We--yes, we need to go," she agreed. She couldn't believe that, of all people, the Dark Mirror was instrumental in saving her, and these chibis--but she would owe every one of them thanks, after this.
She inhaled, and turned to follow the Dark Mirrors, calling up the last bit of her magic to shield all of them on their way out.
She sunk her claws in successfully and was about to let out a victorious whoop when one of the other two people that came with the general came flying up behind her. Well, at least, that was what it felt like when a leg suddenly connected with her mid-section, and she let out something like a harsh yowl when it pushed her and every bit of her instincts came out. Oh no.
How dare this senshi.
The primary rule of cats was their liquidity (right behind their epic level abilities to be a pain in the a**), and she decided to tap right into that as her claws went out and she clung hard. The momentum was still something she couldn't quite shake, and she found herself sent flying a couple of feet while she scrambled in the air to find herself somehow, magically, back on her feet again, but that didn't happen without first attempting to curve her body around the woman's foot like she was a sock and leaving streaks in her wake.
She righted herself and growled to show her anger, but then--
Then the general told the senshi and the lieutenant they were leaving, and Viatrix found herself hooting out a victory at just how very easily they had driven at least a few of the stinky oyster auras off. She turned her attention to Encke.
Encke was looking behind him.
Ah -- now what?
Did he want to go back and deal with them? Because she understood that, but what about the others, the other auras she felt in the vicinity and retreating from the vicinity and--
The coin to the side of his head was, admittedly, annoying, but nothing he found himself unable to deal with. He rebalanced and stared down the general, wincing at the cut of the rapier but finding himself quite willing to go on for more. Especially, well--
Encke practically saw red when someone went for his guardian cat.
Could Viatrix handle herself? Assuredly. Did that mean he wanted someone kicking her? No. He growled, ignoring all pretense of perhaps going lighter on the lieutenants and the corrupt senshi; newer, perhaps easier to convince of the Negaverse's evils and slowly pry away from the source - they were attacking now, and they were attacking people who were definitively fully defenseless--
Well, until they were not.
Chambersite suddenly issued the command to the other two to leave and therefore left, leaving Encke and a very victorious guardian cat and no one to direct his rage at. It tempered it, for a moment, tempered it a bit further when he turned back behind himself and realized that Basiluzzo had not only gone over to the fountain but had also left the fountain -- he could only assume it was with the children, hope it was with the children --
And the anger came rushing back at full force.
"Via, go find Basi and the kids! I'm gonna go deal with the generals!"
Viatrix nodded, running off in one direction while Encke took back off toward the bulk of those leaving.
And the bulk of those remaining.
Quills. Fire. Faustite. Didn't know the one with the long coat and the purple shirt, but was safe to make the assumption that it was, at least, one of the other generals. He spotted Scylla, nodded in acknowledgment of her, and took on a defensive stance, glowering in the direction of Faustite and the other general.
"I don't know whose idea this shitshow was, but it's time for you all to leave."
Encke was very prepared to reinforce that.
I think this ... covers everyone who got addressed in some way in this post / proximity gfhdhf
Well that was a load of worry off of her chest. Irkalla had stared at the others that were more inclined to kick a general when she was down before she starting swinging the string of ornaments around in a slow circle. It was just enough distraction on her end to keep herself from thinking on what was going on just a mere distance away.
She pretended not to hear the screams of those in active engagements with others and she also chose to ignore the sights and smells that were wafting by her. Ignorance wasn't always bliss - but it had it's moments. Instead of being involved with total strangers Irkalla instead chose familiarity.
When Titanite spoke about her being right and staying behind Irkalla rolled her eyes in reponse. The others hadn't left though and as time passed the sounds of battle diminished. It was at that moment that Titanite also chose to make her exit and the smile that she received as the general teleported away, along with the parting comment, caused a familiar warmth to flood the woman's fair cheeks. She ducked her head before smartly turning away from the area. If her job was done - then so be it. It wasn't prudent to stick around any longer. It was true that she had not even lifted a finger against evil - but at least managed to keep one agent of chaos from possibly inflicting harm on others was a plus.
Perhaps she would see Titanite again one day. Maybe under better terms than in the middle of a battlefield.
