Hotaru smiled at Aiyume as she came into view, giving her a moment to catch her breath from the run they had just completed. "Oh she's resting right now. It can be tiring for us to be separated for too long sometimes." Hotaru nodded a bit. "Especially when we're both using techniques at the same time." In truth, Seo was upset with herself because she wasn't strong enough to save the girl on her own. There was the benefit of her being there to prevent her from immediately dying but, what if she still died regardless? Seo would surely blame herself for such a thing happening to some poor little girl who just wanted to become a shinobi. "We should probably head back to the academy to make sure everything else is being taken care of." Hotaru would say as he put his hands in his pockets and deactivated his byakugan. The man would then begin a much slower walk back towards the academy. There was plenty of shinobi there at this point so, he figured he didn't necessarily need to run unless an announcement went over the loud speakers.

Aiyume blinked in confusion when he said that Seo was resting right now. And that it was tiring for them to be separated. Huh? Okay, maybe she sort of understands, siblings sometimes can tolerate each other for some time. Aiyume has no idea how the bloodline works so she's assuming that Seo went off somewhere on her own at the moment. He added that especially when they use techniques at the same time. More confusion. Why would he and her using technique wear out each other? None of this had made sense! Then finally! He suggested something that made sense. With a smile and a nod, she whistles as Tsuta was laying down on the hospital floor, soaking up the coolness. "That's better! Definitely makes sense! Yea, let's go back. What's a bit more cardio. Heh." Aiyume chuckled to herself as Tsuta tagged along, her tail wagging.

Miyuki blushed at being carried by Thresher, but she loved the feeling. It wasn't often that she was being taken care of, since she'd had to take care of her family for such a long time. She let herself be put on her feet and steadied as they arrived at the hospital, walking in and needing to offer no explanation before a medical-nin was coming out. It seemed the yokai business - whatever it was, as the ANBU officer hadn't explained - was leaving all medics to bustle around. The nin took a glance at the wound, one hand full of gauze as they seemed to be on their way to a totally separate task, and snapped their fingers. Green chakra appeared on Miyuki's shoulder and stayed until the wound healed, though her back was still sticky with her now-dry blood.
She'd never seen iryojutsu performed through a snap before, but she was incredibly impressed. "I wish I had the chakra control to learn iryojutsu," she lamented aloud before fiddling with the sleeve of her clothing, feeling guilty about the blood stain. At least she had a change of clothes, but she also didn't want to ditch Thresher to go retrieve them. She settled for slipping out of the primary garb, tying the oversized sleeves around her waist. "We could always use another hand around here," the receptionist said, explaining how each of them could help with wrapping and gauze and receive minor, non-iryojutsu medical training. Miyuki smiled and offered to return, but mentioned that they had other business to attend to.
She took a few steps out of the receptionist's earshot, leaning in close to Thresher. "Thank you for the help. I know it's not much, but I could take us out to relax briefly before we got back to work. I want to lend a hand to the village since we missed Charybdis going out to fight. However, it's important to not work on an empty stomach, so maybe we could go to a restaurant?"

tabWhen she stepped into the hospital, Thresher was nearly overwhelmed by the scent of disinfectant. That type of clean that hung in the air like a cloud, thick enough for her to be able to gulp it down like water with each breath. The inside of the building was busy to be sure, not that Thresher had any frame of reference to how busy hospitals should be. Was it because of the yokai that were mentioned before? Thresher had to wonder as the medical nin escorted her and Miyuki to a closed off room. It was smaller, at least to Thresher, who only had a few free inches of headspace even when slouching.
Thresher watched over her shoulder to watch the med heal the wound as easily as breathing. For her she was so used to letting injuries heal themselves, maybe apply basic bindings for first aid. But watching chakra make it seem like the stabbing had never happened blew her mind. “Ya, it’s impressive.” She agreed as the wound healed in an instant. Once the wound was closed, the sharkgirl was momentarily captivated by how soft and smooth Miyuki’s skin looked. Like if she wanted to take a bite from her companion, her razor sharp teeth would be able to rip and tear easily. But despite her hunter instincts, Thresher was entranced enough to suppress the urge.
The medical nin stepping in front of her snapped Thresher’s attention back to the world of the living, forcing her to look away from Miyuki. Once again a blue blush crept on her face once the realization of what she’d been thinking hit her. So as the medical nin forced her to strip down with her back to Miyuki, giving the Hoshigaki a quick once over to make sure she was okay and not in any medical need.
The process only took a couple of minutes before Thresher returned her clothes to her body and the nurse left. Thresher stared pensively at the wall as she mulled over the events of the mission. Something about it made her feel… odd. But before she could put her finger on it, Miyuki had come up behind her. Having caught the Hoshigaki by surprise, she jumped just a little as the artist leaned in close to her. “Ya make it sound like we’re not done fer th’ day,” Thresher groaned, her closed eyes expression mildly annoyed. She cracked an eye open enough to look at Miyuki and see she wasn’t joking. But the look on her face was sincere, and after a moment of silence, Thresher found it hard to refuse. “Awright, awright,” She added with a sigh and then a wide, toothy grin. “‘Sides, I won’t say no to a free meal!” As she spoke, her stomach let out a rumble that echoed through the small room. “Jus’ uhhhh, can you lead the way?” Her grin faltered to be more embarrassed than excited. “I still don’ know my way ‘round Arashi tha’ well.”

Miyuki was careful about her gaze as Thresher stripped, owing her fellow warrior privacy, though she was almost too relieved to hear that there were no injuries sustained on Thresher. Miyuki had cocked a brow at Thresher suggesting they were already done for the day, but thankfully, the larger woman conceded the point. It made Miyuki smile to get her way as she started leading Thresher out of the building, surprised at the comment that Thresher wasn't so familiar with Arashi. "We can certainly fix that," Miyuki said confidently, stomach growling already.

The floating village may have been impressive to Saiko, but upon seeing the hospital, he was less than impressed. How could a floating village have such a quaint hospital district? It was a strange concept. He expected technological advancements that would blow his mind. Instead he found huts. It was almost insulting really to the once medic. However, they could be redeemed from this world. The people around the hospital could all be saved by Saiko and the other Jashinists. At least that's what Takumi told him and she already told the truth. Saiko smiled at the thought of their redemption by Jashin. It calmed him. Saiko continued to smile as he activated his sage mode. Then with a few handseals on his right hand, Saiko would summon a colossal wooden statue of Jashin himself. The statue easily tripled the size of any of the bijuu and made the hospital appear to be the size of an anthill in comparison. From Jashin's back, thousands of wooden hands would grow from his back to complete the impressive display. Saiko could feel the fear of the citizens now down below. He only wished he could comfort them. He wished he could tell them that their pain would be temporary and that they would find comfort in Jashin. That they would be heroes one day in the book of the Jashinists. However, Saiko was incapable of providing any comfort given his inability to speak. Instead he would speak a prayer for them to Jashin. Praying they find their redemption. Then with another simple handseal, the hands would all begin to collapse towards each other. A sonic boom would sound as they the thousands of hands clapped against each other. A cloud of dust would quickly ascend into the air as the force of the clap destroyed everything in the area. Citizens would be thrown completely off of the village's land as they were thrown by the force. Saiko's sharingan began to spin as black chakra began to spill out over the wooden statue until it formed the armor of the Susano. Saiko wanted to make sure to make the statue a permanent affixture of Arashi. All he had to do was defend it long enough.

Takao flew from the Arashikage's office to get closer to the statue, praying it was an illusion, but it was undeniable. For there to be even one Jashinist in Arashigakure was unforgivable. His stomach was churning as he approached the armored wooden statue. He was so dwarfed by it, and he could do nothing but watch as the statue clapped the wooden hands and destroyed the hospital in a shockwave.
Holy crap.
He wasn't fast enough to save all of those hospitalized civilians, and there would be nowhere for them to go. He looked for someone who was unaffected by the disaster and saw a dark-haired man. "YOU!" Takao screamed, catching his breath long enough to throw a bullet of wind at the man [ Vacuum Great Sphere [ Shinkuu Taigyoku ] | Rank S (overwhelming fuuton) ]. He then turned towards the armored statue and swallowed down bile at the sight of it. Sick. Sick ********, here in Arashi, going to garner more children to sacrifice or seal demons into or some other sick plot. They were a pestilence. He couldn't risk holding back. He shot two more fuuton attacks directly at the armor, praying the armor and the statue would crack [ Vacuum Great Sphere [ Shinkuu Taigyoku ] | Rank S (overwhelming fuuton) x2 ].
"You're on a suicide mission, huh? You're killing defenseless citizens - you must know that's against the tenets of Jashin. You summon his perverted image and idolize him but you can't even follow him properly? Sick. You're ******** sick - you're grasping at straws for justification for your own bloodthirsty agenda. I hope it's worth dying for. You won't be leaving this village alive." His voice was calmer, steadier than he felt. He felt like his body was vibrating faster that Chomei's sonic frequencies. He felt like he was moments from falling apart but he was simultaneously more determined than he'd ever been. No matter what happened, no matter what he was told, he was killing his man.

The bullet has the power to blow through several buildings before dispersing. This vacuum effect is powerful and if physical contact is made with the technique the target will suffer an extreme loss of breath interrupting any potential attacks before collision applies. Because of this vacuum effect the jutsu lacks it's ordinary weakness to the fire element.

It seemed that Saiko's distraction was grand enough to cause a disturbance in the village. Luck would have it that it even brought a jinchuriki to him. The crystal in Saiko's chest made it clear which direction the jinchuriki was coming from. When Takao finally found where Saiko was standing, Saiko was already looking directly at the man, his arms crossed. Almost like he was waiting for Takao specifically. The first of the techniques Takao threw out was rather impressive to Saiko. However, as it made it's way towards him, Saiko's chakra materialization suddenly showed itself. The black chakra that now surrounded him moved forward and consumed the bullet of wind before absorbing it. The attacks aimed for that statue itself were to meet their own fate soon enough as Saiko formed separate hand seals with both of his hands. The result of said hand seals being 32 balls of fire coming into existence around Saiko. Two group of 16 of the balls would immediately make their way towards the fuuton shots aimed for the armor Saiko had created. Upon impact the fuuton would be consumed in fiery explosions.
Saiko's eye once again fell upon Takao as he spoke to him. It was entertaining to Saiko to have someone lecture him on the tenets of Jashin. This jinchuriki knew nothing of why Saiko was here or the tenets of Jashin. Unfortunately for the Jinchuriki, his lack of understanding wouldn't be something Saiko could help him with. His lack of understanding also may have led him into a trap he wasn't prepared for. Fortunately, Saiko wasn't actually allowed to kill the jinchuriki, but he needed to purify the bijuu within. With no words, Saiko moved his arms in somatic gestures to activate a technique. The area suddenly became very cold as Saiko made his various movements with his arms. Almost without warning a blast of wind came from Saiko aimed in Takao's direction. Everything this wind came into contact with immediately froze and the same fate was likely for Takao if he were to be hit by the technique. It was the only technique Saiko decided to throw at the man at the moment. He wanted to test Takao out and wear him down gradually so, Saiko didn't unintentionally kill him.

Each fireball explodes upon impact, washing a ten foot area in flames that inflict tier two burning each. If struck by two or more orbs, tier four burning and burns are applied. These fireballs require chakra equal or greater in potency to defend against or must be defended individually. Each post following the initial use of the technique requires a five chakra upkeep per remaining fireball but consumes no more activations.
● Gale Winds of the Frozen Sea [ Kōtta umi no kyōfū ] | Rank S+ The user forms a string of hand signs, releasing a monstrous and arctic wind that expands over a one hundred foot radius around the user. This unmatched cold causes everything it comes in contact with to be frozen to it's very core, freezing even chakra constructs at or below it's rank. Projectile techniques effected in this manner are frozen in place with whisps of ice holding them in place that connect to the nearest stable surface. Living beings frozen in this manner have paralyasis of tier three applied while frozen and must pay the rank of this technique to break free of it's frozen encasement.

Takao growled as the man kept his silence and attacked back with fire and an icy gale. "Speak, you coward!" Chomei urged Takao to leave the area, though Takao didn't want that for himself. 'Takao, Takao, my path has crossed with this man's before. He is Saiko and he knows many things. You will want to be wary because he controls every element. He can use crystal and wood release - this will make it very difficult for you to attack him directly.' Takao didn't want that advice, though.
He flickered out of the radius of the technique [ Shunshin | D ]. 'Takao-'"I need your power," Takao insisted, and Chomei was quick to relent. Takao's body glowed with a vibrating green chakra as seven tails expanded from his body [ Demon Cloak ]. He flew higher into the air, feeling one part exhilarated for this freedom of flight and one part unbearably angry at the fact that such a moment between himself and Chomei was tainted by Jashinists again. "Let's do it, Chomei," he said as the tails of his cloak beat a supersonic sound out towards Saiko [ Harmonic Chorus | S+ ].
He used the opportunity to apply a genjutsu, making his voice loud over the sound of the technique so that Saiko would be deafened by his voice [ Thunder Voice Technique | E ]. "There is no honor in the death you've chosen for yourself. Whatever hell Jashinist promises his followers that kill the innocent instead of sacrificing them, I hope you enjoy your stay there. Let's hope your trip is as fun as the destination, eh, Saiko?"

If only Takao knew how ironic it was to ask a mute man to speak. If Saiko could, he would be more than happy to tell the man why he was doing what he was doing, but he would have to live with the fact that Saiko wouldn't be saying anything to the man. Unless by some miracle his ability to speak was restored. Saiko's Sharigan was quick to follow's Takao's flicker away from his technique. Was he unable to defend against the attack or did he prefer to use his resources sparingly? It would take some more time for Saiko to get a true feel of the jinchuriki's fighting style. Saiko's eyes caught the green chakra of the bijuu flowing out before it would ever be visible for anyone without the sharingan. Now things were getting interesting. It was the seven tails, a bijuu he had fought back in his days at the Sunagakure academy. It would be nice to fight the creature once again. As the supersonic wave blasted its way towards Saiko, his chakra materialization sprung to life once again to consume the wave. The genjutsu that was placed upon Saiko was a little surprising to Saiko, but with his sharingan he was able to clearly see through the thundering roar of Takao's voice that shook Saiko's very skull and gave him a splitting migraine. With a kai, the effects of the genjutsu quickly wore off. The irony of the situation was not lost on Saiko, but it was time to put a little more pressure on the jinchuriki. The man moved his hand to the direction of the ground and raise his hand upward toward the sky. With his chakra he grew out the roots of the village, resulting in large hands, big enough to wrap around Takao. In total there was only two hands, but each was an equal threat to each other as they reached toward the man at high speeds. If Takao were captured, the wooden hands would begin to drain away Chomei's chakra to tire him out. Saiko wished to use his dust release to erase the existence of this jinchuriki for his lectures, but once again this was not a target he was allowed to kill. Saiko used another handseal to activate his byakugan behind his eye patch to get a better feel for where Takao's chakra points would be. If he were to get into close range he could shut down Chomei's ability to help the man any further, but he shouldn't underestimate the jinchuriki lest he fail and die.

Upon the swing, chakra formed flames behind the hammer that worked as thrusters to the weapon. This allowed the massive hammer to be swung with incredible speed, despite the ease that Thresher handled the weapon. And all of its raw power would be aimed at the stomach of the giant statue. Thresher landed on the ground into an ungraceful roll, her momentum sending her spiraling into the rubble of the hospital. “Did I ge’ it…?” She mumbled, her head spinning. The woman shook herself back to her senses and watched the weirdo with the weird eyes. “I was wonderin’ where tha’ smell was comin’ from. How many of you weirdos are there?” She waited for a response, but when it never came she grit her teeth. “Fine! I’ll just hafta beat it outta ya!” Thresher swung her weapon again, chakra forming on it. The chakra gathered instantly as it was fired from the hammer, a large shark made of water launching at Saiko!

▰ Great Shark Missile Technique [ Daikoudan no Jutsu ] | Rank S Daikoudan no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Water Element. After forming the needed hand seals, the user will generate a large shark which he will launch towards his opponent. The shark is no mere blast of water, as it also absorbs the chakra of his opponent, which causes it to increase in size. This means that the more powerful his opponent is, the larger and more powerful Daikoudan will be when it impacts. Initial cost is S-ranked, but it gains in strength depending upon what Jutsu is absorbed from overwhelming. Strength increases equivalent to half the rank of the technique absorbed. For an upkeep of half the original cost, the technique can be continued past the first post.

Miyuki arrived on the scene with Thresher, though her entrance was less eye-catching than that of her warrior girlfriend. "Hm. This is unusual," she observed keenly. Her mind raced with ideas, trying to figure out why a Jashinist was here and what their goal was in Arashi. Then she made her plan. She put her hands together to manipulate the wind in the area [ Twin Dragon of the Storm [ Arashi no tsuindoragon ] | Rank S ]. Suddenly, a dragon of wind came from the end of the street, tumultuous in its high speeds as it dive bombed Saiko. "What are we going to do about the hospital?" She could see civilians limping in her peripheral and knew they would need medical help soon.

Upon their creation the area surrounding the battlefield becomes so quiet that one would almost think that the build up of chakra was for nothing at all, while in reality they are in the eye of a hurricane. From the clouds descends a massive Chinese dragon made fully of wind. The brother of Kirin and twin dragon of the storm, unlike other fuuton jutsu this creation is not made of the users chakra but of the natural wind created by a F12 tornado. The dragon will then slam down onto the battlefield dealing it’s rank in damage to a massive two hundred by two-hundred-foot area.

Takao flickered out of the way of the giant hands coming to grab him [ Shunshin | D ]. "ARE YOU IGNORING ME?" He demanded at the ever-silent Saiko. It made him angrier, and the Jashinist bullshit was already upsetting him. He felt he was going to start balding from how mad this Jashinist was making him - especially as his own attacks were doing nothing against the man. He summoned more of Chomei's strength and shot a bijuu ball at the man [ ▰ Tailed Beast Ball [ Bijuudama ] | Rank S ]. He then turned and realized he had some back-up now. "You see, Saiko? You're going to lose! Don't you understand that?"
Used: 1) Shunshin 2) ▰ Tailed Beast Ball [ Bijuudama ] | Rank S The user concentrates on a focal point, commonly charged within the mouth of a transformed bijuu and hovering before the jinchuriki's hands when in that form. The concentration of demon chakra melds with the user's own chakra as both of them pay half the cost of this technique, forming an orb of black chakra that is between the size of a baseball to the size of a basket ball. This orb is then fired as a projectile, traveling in a straight line until making contact with a surface. Upon impact or command of the user the projectile detonates, creating a concussive blast of chakra that obliterates anything within a one hundred foot spherical radius of it's impact zone, obliterating non-chakra based structures, negating all armors, treating all techniques as two ranks lower for collisions while causing tier four trauma. Additionally, the concussive blast sends foes flying fifty feet past it's initial blast radius. After the debris settles, the hundred foot wide and fifty foot deep crater is visible from the attack's sheer force.

Other shinobi started to make their presence known at the crater that once was the hospital. The Kamui by far was unexpected, but not anything that couldn't be handled. Hundreds of the statue's arms suddenly reached down into the dirt as it started to be pulled from it's spot in this realm. The wooden hands would dig their way deep into Arashi's core to hold itself to the flying rock. The Uchiha responsible showed their face soon after asking Saiko to stop what he was doing. Unfortunately, that was not something he was capable of doing at the moment. There wasn't much time before the appearance of the Uchiha and a shark skinned woman who entered with a roar louder than most noises Saiko had heard in his life. The statue suddenly stirred to life once again as it dodged the hammer that was intended for it's stomach by jumping straight into the air, it's arms retracting from the earth resulting in further cataclysmic damage to the hospitals general area and throwing rocks at all of the shinobi present. At the same time a sudden tornado of air opened up down upon Saiko. The man suddenly slammed his hands against the Earth, causing fire to rise up around him in an explosion as his hands made contact with the dirt. The fire easily wiped out the tornado as it formed a funnel into the sky and eventually forming a dragon's head. The bijuu ball would slam against the pillar of flame, exploding and taking out the fire. Fortunately, it was just enough to protect Saiko from one of the Bijuu's most powerful techniques, but it was just enough to allow the Shark torpedo to get through. The black chakra materialization surrounding Saiko shot out and wrapped around the water bullet before absorbing into nothing. Saiko had heard what Takao said, but there was a lot of things going on currently that Saiko had to keep his eyes on. The man's sharigan was constantly darting in different directions as he assessed the situation. There was so many people here now. It was an exciting thought to be able to have more sacrifices so willing to fight him. That thought was short lived as Threshed addresed Saiko asking how many of them there were and the woman who brought down a tornado on Saiko asking about the hospital. It seemed Takao had gained a lot more confidence given the amount of reinforcements he suddenly had. The man really wished he could tell the shinobi that he was unable to speak, but that was one of those catch-22s that made his life a constant struggle.
Saiko had accessed their strength enough. It was time for him to go on the offensive and get what he came for. The hands that originally were chasing Takao weren't finished. The hands continued to grow at a rapid rate, attempting to capture Takao still. Saiko moved his palm to face the Earth before raising his hand into the air, keeping his hand flat. As he did so, ten wooden pillars would raise into the air surrounding Takao. Each pillar would form the face of a Foo Dog on the top of them and a lit candle onto of each of the heads. If Takao were captured by this technique, the hands would follow up by wrapping around the ball to form a protective circle and assist in the draining process. Saiko would once again slam his hand against the ground, causing the Foo Dogs to move towards Takao before creating a barrier to capture him. This barrier would immediately to revert Takao's demon form while also draining Chomei of it's chakra if he were captured by the technique. Saiko then formed a simple hand seal in front of his chest. All around the battle field several balls of fire would appear near the other shinobi who had come to fight Saiko. Even if they attempted to dodge the attack, the balls of fire would pursue their targets relentlessly. If they successfully hit their targets, they would each explode in tsunami of flame that would wash over much of the area. While the shinobi were dealing with the various attacks, Saiko turned his attention to his statue. The man's sharingan began to spin once again as a scythe made of the same susanoo grew in one of Jashin's hands. The scythe alone was the size of a bijuu.

For every post that the target is trapped within the barrier they are drained of the user' body rank in demonic chakra or corrupt nature chakra and forcibly revert to a lesser transformed state each post until the transformation ends. Once the transformation ends, this technique also ends and the target has their transformation locked for five posts. This technique requires an upkeep cost equal to two ranks below executed rank.
