It was rare for Sin'qua to laugh, but a bit of mirth escaped her lips as he squeaked in surprise.

"I would strike down anyone who dared to touch you in such a manner." Sin'qua threatened quite honestly, she had a very low tolerance for sharing things she felt belonged to her. People included. As she went about nibbling on the food that she had gotten from them, her gaze went about looking at the people passing by. There was quite honestly nothing of interest in this particular area. Not that she had expected anything, she was just happy to have some time alone with Makani, since she was often busy..or too awkward to instigate things.

"Oh...you could say you're a main part of my writing..." She managed offhandedly, "The main character if you will.." she trailed off before she bit her tongue. Stupid now he will want to know what he does in these stories of hers.

Hearing him answer so honestly broke his heart, Gerraden often visualized them as a big happy family..if he could he would have any many kids as Rishima would be able to tolerate, he gave his mates hand another squeeze hopefully reassuring him.

"I am glad to hear that...its been something I've meant to ask, but things just keep getting in the way." Gerr replied truthfully, he was actually scared to have asked earlier as he didn't want to make Rishima feel like they were rushing into things. He wondered though..if there was a but in there somewhere. He knew f Rishima's tendencies to treat him like he was fragile or going to get severely wounded at any moment but..he was working on trying to get himself stronger for his mate.

Very hard he had been working on it. "I somehow ..wonder if you think its too soon..." Gerr asked in a round about way as he wasn't really expecting an answer to this.

Eirlys - Post 4

Eirlys chuckled. "Its fair because we both know my memory is actually rather poor compared to yours. Then again..yours is mostly full of numbers." she said. Not commenting on what type of numbers he might be recalling. Such as her personal measurements. As she walked the female made sure her hand was firmly grasped in her husbands. "Of course! We have to decide on what beast he wants...does he want a small beast to be a mere companion? Or does he want a larger beast to help with carrying packs?"

She hummed as they walked. Spotting a few things she might convince him to pick up later...smaller clothes and such. She spotted a beast merchant. Tapping the back of his hand with her fingers she nodded towards the large stall. "How about we start there?"

Drexl - Post 4

Miqwe looked rather proud for a moment, then the adult yawned and the small trio heard the rather sharp snap of jaws. Drexl slowly looked down to, what he could only describe as a mortified Miqwe. "I'm sure you'd know what to do with those jaws..." he tried to comfort the tiny beast. Who just looked all sorts of confused as the group walked on.

"Pretty things...Lixes. That's going to be hard. I mean we're boys...would we know a pretty thing suitable for someone?" he questioned his own sense of beauty in that moment. To him, even Miqwe was pretty...

Eziya Post 3

"A bracelet or something? Well I think she would like anything that you got her, Serr. It's the thought that counts after all. She would most certainly be tickled that you even thought of getting her something. At least that's what I think," Eziya smiled, wandering over to a small stand with pretty trinkets and baubles. "Maybe we can get Fia and Thess both something they'll like."

Kauff
post three

Surprisingly, trouble wasn't something he actively courted on an average day. He did lap it up when it found him, but most of the time all he was really searching for was a cure for his wanderlust. His fidgetiness. Kauff meandered for a while, leading Xariy past food vendors and people selling ostentatious clothing and dolled-up pets, then finally pausing near a small band of musicians.

"We should dance."

He doubted she could prance around much while carrying her things, but it was the initial challenge he was interested in more than the payoff anyway.

Solari - Post 3

Solari was intrigued and her eyes opened wide when he opened up his clock and took out another pouch. Okay either this guy was just loaded and didn’t care how much money he lost or he was just dumb. Then, he picked up pebbles and placed them inside and Solari smiled. Genius. This guy was nether rich nor dumb. He was a genius. She began laughing, slapping her thigh in the process, she could not believe it. The guy was robbing the thieves’ blind! Not the other way around.

“Now that is what I call brilliant!” She was thankful she hadn’t stolen anything from him.

“I can sure do that,” Solari said when her laughter died down. He was going to buy her food?! Oh my! She didn’t know her little good deed of the day would end up like this. If he was paying she’d take it. She had not expected such a pleasant surprise. Maybe the guy had money hidden on him? His pebbles would surely deter thieves from his real purse. “Lead the way!” She didn’t mind the company either and really she was curious to see if any other thief would get robbed by this man. “I’m Solari.” She stuck out her hand towards him in greeting.

Karothdra - Post 3

“Oh really? I think I have read about those in my studies, I haven’t been out of Oba until recently… Maybe I should have read a bit more before leaving.” Not that Karothdra had had much time to prepare for her trip out of Oba before she actually walked out the door. It had been a very brash decision and she could see now that a bit more time to reflect and study would have done her good. “I will gladly try everything first for you.” Oh yes, her mouth was watering just at the thought of eating food from home.

“I’ll be going back to Juahar,” the Oban confirmed with a head nod. “So I will definitely be looking forward to you cooking for me.” Karothdra paused, glanced at Tyiva and chuckled. “I didn’t know you cooked.” Granted she didn’t know much about her, but she did not think most Alks learned to cook. Still it was a nice surprise and she would take it, it would be authentic Alkidike food after all and she wasn’t about to turn it down. She briefly wondered what their food would be like.

“I figured so,” Karothdra chuckled before moving towards the good smells. They would eat and feast first before going to see the weapons. Only after being fully content could they enjoy. It was easy for Karo to pull out the Oban smells and follow them. They came up to a stall, this one had bread that was stuffed with spicy sauce and meat. She ordered two and extended one to Tyiva. “This are spicy and very hot, so just be a little careful.” For her part, Karothdra opened her mouth wide and took as large a bite as she could manage. Mhmmm, so good.

Rhag'na - Post 3

Rhag’na had been engrossed in the swords, eyes looking at curves and trying to find any faults, the other warriors too were quietly inspecting their own wares. When a voice called out, Rhag’na didn’t turn right away but did glance towards the voice. Seeing as the man was looking straight at hi, Rhag’na handed the sword back to the merchant and made his way over.

“I can help you,” he said slowly eyeing the other kegs and trying to mentally calculate how long it would take him to get all of them down. “Where do you want them?”

Kanika - Post 3

Kanika easily came to a stop when Nivalis did, wait? Was there danger? Was there a trap? Who was attacking them? Her body tensed and she became ridged as she prepared for the worst. Her hand grasped the tiny knife at her hip, let them come she would cut them all down one by one. Her eyes scanned the area, narrowing as she observed each and every single Earthling that was coming their way. Where was the threat? And then Niva was doing something and it made Kanika look up. Was it coming from the sky? Were they dropping things on them? Little creepy…

Good things? Okay then… Positive thoughts, positive thoughts. Niva wanted to separate?! “Well,” Kanika glanced at her sister. “What do you think?” She would take her sister with her that was for sure, leave the older Elaria with the little one.

Jhin - 3

Only the faintest of smiles showed Jhin's amusement at the girl's reaction. At least someone appreciated his plan~ The rest of his cousins had been a bit skeptical, but he was proving them wrong at least. His cheeks did flush a bit at the compliment as he nodded, "Thank you. Truly it was just a random idea."

He just hoped none of his cousins would catch him buying food for the Matori. They'll believe I came up with this way to hit on someone rather than doing my duty. Honestly though it would be easier to keep an eye on someone who now knew his trade secrets rather than letting them off in case they wanted to warn others. Not that his cousins would believe that. Obviously he was just trying to get close to such a pretty girl. Jhin almost rolled his eyes at the thought before smiling towards Solari, "I'm Jhin." He offered as he took her hand in turn. Giving it a gentle shake -wasn't that how his father greeted strangers?- the wind boy turned on his heel, "I hear there are some good food stalls around that side of the festivities. So let's head there."

He could definitely use a kabob or two. Perhaps even a sweet bun, "I'm not certain on Matori foods." He commented glancing over towards the girl, "So if you see something that you are fond of feel free to let me know."

Serr
post three

Well, that made things both easier and more difficult. If she might truly like anything he got for her there was no danger of failing, but that also meant he had to choose. A choice between literally everything in existence.

"Yes. That would be nice. Though I don't think Thess would like a bracelet very much." Serr chuckled. His sort-of brother was more into swords these days. "We can start with Fiia though." He started to do just that, meandering toward a sparkly vendor.

Ziel - Post 3

Ziel was just waving back and forth, looking at everything around her with a small smile on her lips. This was so fun! As her rocking continued, she glanced behind her and spotted a shifter staring at her. Ziel didn’t mind being stared at if she were to be honest, in fact she found it a good way to interact with people.

“Hello!” She said as she quickly turned around to face the Shifter. “I like your hair.” Ziel tilted her head slightly as she observed the Shifters hair. She loved the curls and the cut, she almost wished her hair curled like that!

Nasuri - Post 3

Nasuri followed her brother, if he led it allowed her more time to look around at all the things! Finally though she did turn and look at the goods before them, everything smelled delicious! She took the fish he handed her, twirling it to look at it in all angles before she took a bite. It was hot, but the seasoning made it quite tasty.

“Mhm, this is really good!” Nasuri managed between mouthfuls, she was done a few minutes later. “I wonder why mom never talks about home.” She said out loud speaking her thoughts but she was already eyeing the next food stall.

Amalric || 3

“No…I-” Amalric frowned, his bafflement seeming only to intensify when in this peculiar man’s presence. “That was why I asked you…” Though, to be entirely fair, Amalric supposed he could have asked out of kindness upon seeing this man and assuming that he was lost—or something else far worse. The man certainly was something.

Lost was apparently among them.

“Oh.” Amalric tried very sincerely not to look it, but: “Well, that’s disappointing. And I would say that I am not lost in the strictest sense, I only have just-” He cut off, words derailed by the fact that the other’s tongue was now just lolling out freely much akin to an over-worn hunting dog, his green eyes semi-fixated as he leaned in and—Amalric shook his head. “Why are you letting your mouth ha—aaaaaaaah! Don’t lick me—

If there was anything in particular Amalric had thought in advance that he might need to prepare for and avoid in the grand market of intermingling minds and cultures, the tongue of a strange, drawling leafling boy was not previously among them. His list was subsequently amended.
