Their first attempt through the fog, the pair had gotten turned around somehow and ended up right back where they had started. "Boo!" she huffed and put a hand on her hip as she stared at the painted tree. Like it had offended her or something. But Bibi wasn't the type to hold grudges against anything, not even inanimate objects. "Let's try that again, shall we?" she asked, her smile once again bright.
She waited for her companion to be ready before marching off into the fog once more, her barking flashlight leading the way. After what seemed like forever, the pressure of the fog seemed to break and breathing became easier again. "Hey! I think we made it through!" she giggled happily as she started to see others who had made it through.

Adhara was anxious, not only did she not know many people on this trip in general, she was paired up with someone she hadn't even talked to. Deciding she was going to make the best of the situation she perked up.
"Hi Nashira, I'm Adhara. Nice to meet you." she said with a smile. They had made it through before she realized, her fear of the unknown must of set in because she seemed to have lost track of most of their time in the forest. "I'm happy we made it!" She cheered.

Bebe was almost just letting the other girl drag her along at this point, having lost a lot of motivation - Bebe might have a lot of energy most the time, but it burns out easily in the face of adversity. She sighed as she felt the barrier once more, lazily looking to where the white-marked tree should be... but it wasn't there. Perking up immediately, Bebe looked around in pure excitement."Ohhh we did it! Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you,"she squealed embracing Zahneel in joy."Now, um... now what?"she asked quietly, releasing her partner and looking around. Biting her lip in anxiety, she realised she had been so focused on getting through the barrier, she'd hardly considered what the next step was.

Nashira felt so bad that she had scared Patches that much. "I really didn't mean to scare you like that, Patches. But I am very glad that I found you again. I haven't seen you since we left the bus. And we never got our pictures. Come to think of it, I haven't seen Neptune or Zahneel or Mahuyah since the bus either." Well that wasn't totally true. She had seen Neptune enter the forest and not come back out. They had to be here somewhere, right? She then looked to Azure. "I haven't seen Bebe, Samhain, Nadinia, or Callixtus in a while either." And she was quite worried about Callixtus, as he had gotten stung by bees as well.
She then realized how rude she must be, and looked back to the person she was tied to. "Oh, um. Adhara. These are my" she hoped Patches was ok with her calling her this "friends, Patches and Azure." She shone the lamp around, attempting to see any of her other friends. "Adhara, were you injured? I should have asked you before." If they were, she would try and find Samhain to help. Of course now that she was thinking about them, the stings she'd gotten were reminding her they were still there, and ached quite a bit.
(I'm just quoting all you guys, in case anyone who's made it in the barrier hears Nashira say their name and wants to come on over and join the group! The more the merrier, after all!)

It was so very difficult to wade through the heavy air, his eyes squinting and opening drastically as if to try and better his vision. They could barely see where they were going, for goodness sake. The little birds perched on his shoulder would sqwawk and chirp from time to time, keeping closely tucked to the mutants neck. The fog was unnerving for them.
With some determination and perseverance, it seemed they were to be rewarded! following after the geist, Gaius was surprised when their surroundings began to lift the veil that had been clouding their sight, his familiars all peering out too with the lighter air now being inhaled into their lungs. Much better~ Grinning to the partner he'd been tied to, the teen gave a light pat to her shoulder in praise, "Nice job finding the way out. You're pretty good at this."

Samhain eventually made it over to where a good chunk of the people seemed to be and wondered how long everyone had been in the forest wandering around or just sitting here in the dark in the fog. Had everyone made it through? What else was likely to happen to them all during this trip. However the more important thought running through his head was checking in on his friends and giving them more pain killers (if more than 4-6 hours had passed) or putting on another ice wrap. The bee stings where likely to hurt. ‘Then go and find them, I’ve listened to your worrying for the last hour. Actually I’ll go and get them’ was the angry retort in the back of his head. Samhain rolled his eyes and started maneuvering through the crowd before Salem could make his threat become a reality He did make a note that Salem was way too close to the surface…. Way too close. He would have to ask his head mate to not antagonize his friends. However before he could finalize the thought, He of course walked in right as Nashira was saying his name. “Yes? Oh, Nashira how are the bee stings doing?” okay that wasn't his smoothest attempt ever.

"I hope!" Well, that hope didn't seem to help as they popped back out at the tree. "Well then, onward once again?" As they continued on, the hybrid smiled to her partner, pausing as they got to a log, usually a small obstcle, but with her ankle, she wasn't going to try to make a leap. "I'm Divone, by the way. What's your name?"

"I'm glad to hear that." Nashira said to Adhara, glad that they hadn't gotten hurt. "I um... Well..." She wasn't sure how to tell the other that she'd been stung by bees, but they shouldn't worry. After all, Samhain...
"Oh!" Just as she was thinking of him, he seemed to appear. "Samhain!" Without thinking, she gave the green and dusky hybrid a hug. "I'm glad you made it." Then she realized what she was doing and pulled back faster then she'd ever moved before. "Oh, I um... Well..." Why did she do that? Why? WHY WHY WHY? "T-the stings are now not my biggest worry."
“o-o-oh that’s good, no... I mean…s-s-hutting up,” Samhain stated turning bright red. He wasn’t quite used to people hugging him yet. Sure Lace did it all the time but that was lace, and Bebe did it a lot but he was getting used to that slowly. It also didn’t help that Nashira's awkwardness was feeding his awkwardness and he wasn’t wearing his mask… could the forest just swallow him now. He ignored the indignant snort from Salem in the back of his head but surprisingly was still in control, apparently his more snarky self didn't want to deal with damage control either. ‘Can I get a new headmate. I refuse to know you’ was salem’s reply. Samhain of course retorted back albeit a bit childishly. This of course earned him another indignant snort.

If someone had been standing between them, or even relatively adjacent to them, she would have hidden behind them. She was just messing up all over the place here. Last night with Callixtus, making him dance when he might not have wanted to, and now hugging Samhain when maybe he didn't want to be hugged. She decided to look down at her hands and fiddle with the lamp she held. After a moment of awkward silence, she cleared her throat.
"S-sorry Samhain. I'm just... very relieved you made it through with us. I hope our other friends are here somewhere as well." She fiddled with the light a little more before she almost dropped it. With a startled squeak of surprise, she held it up again. "Ah, and um... as for the stings." Wait, that wasn't a full sentence. "They're aching again." Yeah. Complete thought, right?

Some had not passed the barrier in time, but it seemed that Claire's worrying was not needed. The barrier crumpled, allowing the last stranglers to come in. Once everyone has passed the barrier Claire opens their mouth to speak, instead cut off by a loud cry and the sound of hurried feet.
"Hello!"
Bewildered, Claire turns around, only to be met with the sight of a strange man.
Before the group arrives a slender man, supporting large, fox-like ears and two fluffy tails, featuring traits no race fits. Their panicked eyes land on the group, body bending forward to catch their breath before immediately standing straight, reaching out to touch Claire.
"Please help me!" He desperately pleaded, eyes tearing up as he glances to the group. "I weakened the barrier in hopes someone would enter. I lost the students of one of our leader's. They were under my care, and they'll skin me alive if I don't bring them home! Oooooh, this is the worst thing I've ever done! Oooooh, please help me! I'll surely be banished!"
The strange man breaks down into frantic sobs, taking a few minutes to calm down. Trembling, the 5'9 man finally pulls himself together, flicking both his tails in-front of them to hold for comfort.
"I-I do apologize... My name is Tomoe. I'm sure you're confused... oh I've messed up again.... You see, you weren't supposed to get in here... but I lost two children put under my care. I'm incredibly clumsy, and have messed up plenty throughout the years. This will surely result in me being cast aside... So I.... foolishly sought outside help. That... that doesn't matter, what's done is done. Can you please help me?"
This singular day is to decide if you continue on or not. If your character is disturbed by what has occurred so far, you may RP them leaving. If they wish to continue, RP them accepting to help Tomoe. Your character may even ask questions, but be careful! Tomoe is very distressed and might break down again!
Those leaving will be escorted back to the tree and given gear to camp again for the night. They cannot return, as the barrier has strengthened again, and cannot RP in the meta anymore.

Neptune was relieved to see Zahneel made it through-- and even the others they'd been grouped with on the bus. Though it was short lived, as soon after the last of the stragglers arrived, a new person appeared. Alarmed, his ears perked to full attention as he stared at the newcomer, slowly coming to the realization that he looked like nothing he'd ever seen before... Was he some kind of Above Grimm?? Wait... did Grimm ever come to the Above? He couldn't remember that in his history lessons...
Still, he said kids were lost. "U-uh..." His mouth started moving before he knew what he was saying-- "I'll h-h-help, um..." He paused, nervously glancing at the others before continuing on. "A-about.. um... h--how old are th-they...?" If they were small children they were probably lost and scared.... he could recall a time when he was small and very, very scared....
Well, more small and scared than he was now, anyway.
He glanced over at Zahneel as if to silently ask if she were going to offer to help as well.

Tomoe almost missed Neptune's question in his panic, hands tapping together nervously as their tails wiggled. Oh gosh, ages would have been a good thing to mention! Ooooh, he messed up so bad. He was so beyond lucky there was a group of outsiders nearby, but he could only imagine just how bad things would have been if they hadn't come. Oh! Don't think about that!
"One is around 9, and the other is about 10!" Tomoe nervously piqued up, ears flattening slightly. "They're around here.... somewhere..." And there went those large tears again.
