Distract her with Rishima so she would be less vigilant over her sisters to the point she wouldn't see another attack coming. Her gaze shifted venomously back towards Rishima and then towards V'demhe as she approached. Aware of the way Lumikani was speaking the flame in her arrow grew as she narrowed her gaze at the sister standing across from her. "Don't fake your concern for me traitor." Aselia hissed towards V'demhe's direction. Snarling when Rishima spoke pulling her attention back towards him. Her eyes flared with anger as he spoke. "Liar!" Aselia shouted as her eyes trained on his weapon. "This was all part of your plan wasn't it? Distract me with one I would be willing to talk to just so your crystal crawlers could crawl up behind us and strike!?" Giving Neibet and Lumikani a warm smile. At least here among the strife she had friends she could count on. Her eyes narrowed as she caught sight of a leaf earthling tearing through her sisters. Gripping her bow with vehemence Aselia powered up her attack the arrow bursting to life with fire before it was launched towards the strange creature. He would do well to stop there and cause no more harm to her sisters.

Aiming for the closest individual they could. It wasn't like they wanted to kill the Sister they were attacking, but hoped that enough damage could be sustained that the sister would back off. An arrow sliced against her ankle but Maya was to occupied with her current attack to notice. Reaching back for a set of arrows Maya strung the first and let it fly as Kakkara's teeth sank into the opponent Alkidikes flesh. The Janarims powerful jaw clamped down hard and unforgiving.

For now he had to focus on the battle at large. He fired an arrow into the crowd.

In the face of the battle, though, the young woman's face furrowed before she let out a howl, firing her first bolt into the crowd. She had no way of knowing if it had hit or not, but she loaded another bolt and ran back a few steps to try again.

Serr HP: 29.5 - 6.5 (aselia) = 23The arrow struck deep, taking a fair bit of Serr's shoulder with it, but thankfully it didn't stick. The fire also served to mostly cauterize the wound in its wake, though that didn't make it any less painful. The Leaf hissed, turning to glare at the woman with the bow. He didn't know who she was, but she was obviously as brainwashed as the rest. Reaching back to gauge the severity of his injury, he deemed he could continue on for now. His first stop was going to have to include stabbing that Alkidike.

It was all instinct. Sebastien had never been a part of a battle before, not on the front lines. He had heard it, he had seen the aftermath, he had witnessed the destruction the secretive parties had caused, but it had not been this. Fear and adrenaline leaped into his chest and he ran at the mob of Alkidike, wielding his whip and seeing it draw back red. He had hit, and it only served to fuel his anger.

Kiunyki (Post 3) Kiki had a weapon. A temporary weapon, to be sure, nothing fancy, just a training quarterstave. She hadn't decided yet on her actual weapon, and as she watched her sisters wielding their weapons, she knew it would be a hard choice.
She felt at home here, amidst the almost palpable pride of her people. She was ready to take on anything, to move their people forward. Mama would understand. Eventually.
But it wasn't just her mother – other Alkidikes had apparently taken the wrong side. She moved to the front of the group to get a better look, horrified to recognize, in the distance, very familiar markings among them. How could this be? She understood – she understood so well – how could so many sisters not understand? It made very little sense to Kiki.
At first she thought that the screams behind them were more cheering, but as movement flurried around her, she realized this was not the case. ”Treachery!” she shouted, gripping her quarterstaff tightly. Somehow, she hadn't actually expected there to actually be fighting. Not like this. Where were the earthlings? Behind? In front? Kiki realized, very suddenly, that she was not ready for a fight. She found the nearest Alkidike around her age in the Extremist crowd and moved beside her, afraid to try her half-trained skills against the earthlings alone...Dovev (Post 5) Dovev had no loyalty, not really, and he had a great tolerance for insult and foolishness. Still, the Alkidike mystic – and to a lesser extent her companion – had brought his patience to a brink he had not realized existed. They had refused even his offer of assistance, and so he would no longer offer. Thus was his side in the strife determined, and he felt no regret. He stood amidst the Sautian ranks, sword at an easy but drawn pose. Whatever these warrior woman would come onto the field with, he was ready.

But this was Kaa, and she couldn't do that. It was not a happy Kaalnia that joined the Extremists ranks, but she knew she had to be there – someone had to help keep these idiots alive... especially since one of them was her daughter.
Kiki would see reason one day. Teenagers were universally stupid, and Kaa hadn't been the best role model herself. She still wasn't. But she had grown up, and Kiki would grow up, and she would change her mind. They all had that chance... but they could not change their minds if they were dead, and Kaa hoped to prevent that.
She wasn't expecting the Earthlings to come from behind, however – she would never expect such underhanded tactics. The screaming froze her blood, but she had felt this way before, and she conquered it, surging into the crowd to find her daughter. She did not find her daughter, not before she found her sister on the offensive. On the other side.
Frankly, Kaa couldn't blame Brie for beating some sense into these girls. Shoots and leaves, she thought the extremists were full of dung. But like rot was she going to let those idiots kill her sister. Or, worse, let her sister hurt her daughter. That would be awful!
She attacked Briella, her spear glittering as she tapped into the life force they all shared. ”Hey! Brie! Hold off a moment!” she shouted, ”Listen to me, okay?!”

Neska – where was Neska? It bothered him that he couldn't see her among the Alkidikes that were lurking around. Did that mean she was safe, or did it mean other not so pleasant things? He sort of hoped for the former, but he didn't know... he didn't know at all.
The screaming started, ending the boring waiting, and when he realized that someone canny had started some kind of ambush, he grinned jealously - he wished he'd done that. He leapt into the fray with a loud whoop, but he knew exactly what he wanted to do.
He darted right for that mystic Alkidike that had caused such a stir at the festival. He hadn't gotten to attack her there and then, but this time... This time he could, and nobody would have any issues about it. He grinned ferally as he stabbed downward with his blades. It wasn't the sort of blow he would be proud of, if he had pride, but since he didn't really care, he grinned.
"Didn't get t' do this before." he explained, settling into a battle stance, "I'm hopin' that ye weren't all flare and spark back at the festival!"

But it would do something, and perhaps it would, ironically, cool their thirst for battle. With that in mind, he summoned a massive fireball and sent it flying at the group of Alkidikes...

As it was, all this talk of scary war things had made him hungry, and he was munching away at some dry, hard biscuits that he considered delicious when the call went up around the camp that people needed help. Help! Nuawahn could help!
He looked around for Kani and Gael and, failing to find them, realized where they could be. He threw a strengthening spell at a pretty ice lady (with especially pretty hair) and a much younger but also pretty wind lady, before he made his way to a wind tribesman who was not familiar in any way.
"Hey..." he asked, distinctly unhappy with all the chaos and general bad violence, "Have you seen my friends? They are water-people and so very nice... I want to find them, so that I can help them!" Hopefully, this stranger could help him...

Bursting through it her heart sank as her eyes fell on the retreating back of Virain. Turning to Nkole, Teiluj hurried forward as fast as she could. She reached out to take hold of his hand. "I'm going to need your help." It was a guise, Teiluj probably could have done it well enough with just her and Irro but the thought of leaving him exposed to the war sent a panic through her. Giving him a tug she tried to pull him towards the tents. She wasn't going to leave him alone outside the tent as the first wave of injuries flooded in. Sorry for the multi quotes guys. Was fixing some math.
