Well then.. she'd made good time indeed but Nosepass was tired now and she'd nearly been fined for speeding! She promised not to accidentally hurt any people or pokemon or property and to be more responsible with her usage of that transportation method. In truth it would be too dangerous in most cases, especially for nosepass.. or was he strong enough for that. In anycase it was exhilarating to say the least.
She made her way to kurts place to ask him to make 3 heavy balls for her hoping perhaps that she'd be able to use them on something huge and amazing some day. She might need some variety but these would probably give her the best results. She'd come back for the balls later but kurt told her to go ahead and cool the furnace and take a charcoal explaining that it was for helping him earlier and how she could give it to a pokemon to increase the power of fire type moves.. she didn't have one but maybe she could find a use for this.

Sakiko returned to the well and got some water for kurt, she was familiar with some of it now. She'd carry it back and tire herself out a bit but it wasn't too bad. People had been doing this for such a long time! On top of this it was for a mind of such renown SO GLORIOUS! She would take a little while but she'd be able to rest at Kurt's place a little while. When she got there she had enough water to put out the heat and grab a charcoal! But she'd have to come back for Kurt's special balls. Thinking of what she was coming back for she chuckled to herself a bit with her typical plain face on. This creeped kurt out a bit........
On the way back to camp she'd get ready to have another look at her pokemon wondering if there was something she could do with her pokeballs when she met what appeared to be a headless man on the back of a black rapidash in the forest... He held a pumpkin in his hand that seemed to be his angry head. She tilted a bit as the man approached.
She just kindof stared and asked if it was for a celebration. The rapidash jumped and kicked and thrashed about and the man wailed... Sakiko didn't really get it... she just clapped and told him it was a great look on him.
Looking kindof confused he pointed somewhere into the forest... what could have been there??? Sakiko went with him and found what seemed to be a cursed tree of some sort??? The inscription said something about some danger of taking the cursed thing within out and that an evil soul would lose their arm or something.. Seemed safe enough. She reached in and pulled out something head shaped.. She handed it to him and he got off his horse and kneeled...... she didn't really get it but he gave her some sort of artifact? A cursed charm of some sort. She looked back up to ask him what it was but he'd disappeared and suddenly everything was warping around...
She didn't really find this scary.. as usual... but she immediately tried to investigate.. what senses were being affected.. was this an illusion?

But most importantly there was a gym in the center of town and that’s why he was here. He was already fired up about the gym battle and he knew that there was just about nothing that could slow him down at this point. From here he would take the second gym in the Johto league and move onward towards Goldenrod and Whitney. ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ The town was quaint, the gym was stationed right in the middle of town, it would no doubt be the only attraction for most of the trainers passing through. Maybe they would want to visit the slowpoke well or the old ball maker but it was doubtful that people came through just to visit. It was so far from everything else in Johto that it was more of a hassle to get to than what it was worth. Either way he wanted to get some last minute training in again just like before the last gym battle. The time was coming soon for him to earn his second badge, he had no doubt that he would be able to scrub this one out like the last. It was approaching sooner than later. Covered in grass and with trees everywhere the gym looked like an indoor garden and was quite mood setting, but it would be for someone who was going to be in charge of bug Pokemon. As Toru stepped towards the battlefield in the middle of the gym, his team in tow behind him he prepared to face off against Bugsy, the second of eight gym leaders in the johto region. Unsure of what bugs his opponent would be using he prepared himself for anything. “Yo Bugsy-chan! I hear you have a badge for me, if you give it to me now I’ll make things easy on you.” Although he spoke in an upbeat tone he carried a threatening undertone. Bugsy was tinkering away at a robotic spinarak that had needed some rewiring when Toru approached. The bug enthusiast perked up curiously at the challenge. "Make things easy? Where's the fun in that?!" He laughed. "Sorry mister, but if you want a badge, you're gonna have to battle me like everyone else." He shot Toru a toothy grin and stood, brushing himself off and grabbing his bug net. "Oh, but hang on a sec, I ned to make sure this guy is up and running properly." "Now then, a battle was it?" Bugsy said, turning his attention to Toru again and unclipping a pokeball from his side. "Come on out Scyther, it's battle time!" Bugsy called. "Scyyyther!" As Tobio walked onto the battlefield across from the metapod he had a strategy that would get things going. "Y'know I'm getting sick of you guys talking about rematches. Worry about the match that's in front of you or you'll find yourself giving up another badge Bugsy." ╔═══════════════════════════════════════════════╗ This guy talked alot, but that wasn't bad because that meant that his focus wasn't on the fight and that Toru was able to easily focus on both. Judging by his reaction he underestimated Tobio which was going to be a costly mistake for him but it was only a matter of time before Toru broke him down. Scratching his head he chuckled, "actually I'm not giving it my all. I can't take you seriously with those shorts and that go get em attitude. You need to take battling more seriously or you'll get caught off guard. Tobio, let's mix things up with Icy Wind." A chill wind blew through the battlefield and shook the metapod to the core, having the coverage of an ice move on Tobio made him a large threat to any bug types who forgot about the fairy typing. The cold would slow Metapod down to the point of being slower than the psychic type. It would be a matter of time now before Tobio took control of this battle, "what now?"
If Bugsy couldn't answer this immediately he would simply follow up with another Icy Wind, which would more than likely be enough to put a dent in the cocoon

Bugsy pouted a bit as Toru suggested that he wasn't giving his all because he couldn't take Bugsy seriously. "Hey! What do you have against shorts? They're comfy and easy to wear!" Bugsy asked incredulously. "I'll have you know I take my battles very seriously, but that doesn't mean I can't talk and have fun at the same time! The best battles are engaging battles!" Bugsy grinned, flipping his net off his shoulders and giving it a little twirl before planting it on the ground. Still, that icy wind was a good tactic, slowing his metapod down so that they could land another attack. "Hey, not bad!" Bugsy nodded, giving credit where it was due. "But still not good enough! Metapod, use Tackle!" Bugsy commanded, pointing his net at the ralts as his cocoon slammed itself into the psychic type, knocking it out as well. With that though, Bugsy returned the Metapod and sent out his Kakuna in preparation for the next pokemon Toru was going to send out, that way he could allow his metapod to warm up and regain his speed for the rest of the match.

Thinking about his next move he thought he would take a chance on the Kakuna, "I didn't realize that your Pokemon were going to be this much stronger than mine were. These bug types sure are annoying, luckily some of them have amazing type matchups, and Kakuna isn't one of them. Saeko."
