Meiloyn fed the fire the last of the wood. She found a stick that wasn't dry dead wood, but it was straight and tall. She stuck it into the ground and looked for the shadow and placed a rock there. What time was it?

I don't think you realise... Oh, thank god! The thread is back! Stuff happened last night, Vitty, but the thread wasn't accessible, so I couldn't update here. I'll do that now.

Jetty Spaghetti I don't think you realise... Oh, thank god! The thread is back! Stuff happened last night, Vitty, but the thread wasn't accessible, so I couldn't update here. I'll do that now.

Kei sat underneath a tree, her eyes downcast. She had become attached to Mei in such a short time... only to have her eaten. Well... now she really knew Mei wasn't a cannibal... sadly, in a most unfortunate way.
She holds her knees to her chest, her eyes hidden by her hair and a few streams of tears down her cheeks.

Amanda comes out from the trees. Her eyes brimming with tears.
She saw Kei and walked over to comfort her.

Vittay yawned and awoke, yet again unaware that she had fallen asleep. She scolded herself, yet again, and wondered if anything new had happened. Of course, she had been in the votings yesterday and Bubby had been voted off. Vittay hoped she had made the right choice by voting Bubby. Maybe now there was one less cannibal to worry about.
Vittay stretched her arms a bit, yawned again and pulled herself up onto her slightly unsteady legs. She picked up her scarf which she had been sitting on and patted the sand off it. Rubbing her eyes, Vittay looked out to the horizon and then looked sideways across the shoreline.
There was a lump of something. It looked like a pile of white and red shreds. Alarmed, Vittay ran to the pile and looked at it with a grim look on her face. She recognised that coat. It was what remained of Mei.
Vittay felt saddened by the loss. Her shoulders fell and her whole body felt heavier with the emotional upheavel (sp?). Though Mei had suspected her of being a cannibal, Vittay had made her realise it was a misunderstanding. She had forgiven her and they had chatted quite friendly. And now, Mei was gone. No more quirky Japanese habits. No more quirky fruit finding, tree shaking activities. A great sense of loss filled up Vittay's chest before dissolving again into a stream of tears that ran down Vittay's face and left dark patches on the sand.
