Nveryl fluttered around the group, seeming to be shaking and worried. "Th-thank you for not turning me in. I would have thought you would..."

Zukiel smiled at the small dragon, shaking his head. "I wouldn't ever turn in a friend. Would you feel more comfortable riding on someone and directing them? You're shaking a little..." he said. "And I do sense your fear."

"Nveryl, your traveling with us now. that means i will protect you if it means my life. spare no thoughts on the possibility, mine friend" Colson says reassuringly, then glaring off to where the red dragon flew off. "if he tries again, i make no more promises on staying my axe. kill my friend indeed." he harrumphs and moves forward as once the party was before so rudely interrupted.

"N-no. I'm fine," she replied, before flying ahead of the group a little. "I think the house is this way! Follow me!" The small dragon leads them through the forest more, until they rise onto a hill in the forest with a small stone tower on the top. There appeared to be some magical runes on the door. Nveryl perched on Zukiel's shoulder when they got closer.

"well...runes make me nervous, but...i guess there's nothing to do but knock, right?" Colson raises his hand to do so, aiming for an un-rune part of the door if possible.
(if we have a mage capable of discerning this things effect, feel free to stop me. otherwise, let dm say what knocking does.)

Xaria walked behind the group near the rear, and looked up at the magical runes. "Oh! Magic runes!" she said, nodding her head. "Are we visiting with a wizard or something?"

Zinder followed quietly along behind everybody. "That dragon didn't like our new friend because it has a different ability than normal, right? Odd. I figured something like that was only with human races." She shrugged her shoulders and tilted her head towards the door.

The tower was silent for a few moments, before a purple robed bald wizard opened the door, "Yes, what do you want, dwarf?"

Zukiel smiled a little, watching the wizard while Nyverll sat on his shoulder. He waited for Colson to say something.

"What? Dragons?" said the old man, looking at Nveryll. "What about the little dragon? Oh...wait. That one. Here, come with me." The wizard waved them into his tower, which was lined with books. Once inside he turned to look at him, "I am surprised, but I should have known. So, you sure you want to help an out of time dragon?"

"absolutely." Says colson. he spends a moment looking around the room at the books, then asks "...out of time?"
