Nicholas let out a last chuckle when Kate rejected him so easily. "Oh come on, it's not like I'm asking for a make out session or anything. All I want is a peck," he tried to push, though it was clear that she didn't want his lips on hers. Kate tapped a spoon against the top of his nose and without realizing that it had flour on it, he didn't bother wiping it off. She then told him in a stern voice to go check on Oscar, which made Nick scoff. "Alright.. god, you're just like my grandma... bossing me around telling me what to do," he mumbled. "What are you gonna do next? Slap me with your slipper?" He joked, remembering that was more or less what his grandmother would do to him when she was angry. She would either slap him with it or throw at at the back of his head as he was running away. Not that it hurt. In fact, thinking about it now, it was actually quite amusing.

Everytime Nicholas mentioned something about kissing,it made her remember what happened in the basement before Ryan came. Of course she enjoyed it but there's no way she will admit it,besides..She's not important to Nick,they're just friends.That's all.Kate blinked with surprised expression when he told her that she's just like his grandma."Well if it will keep you away then next time I will slap you with my slipper." She said beforeshe glanced down,realizing that her feet were bare. If it will keep him away? Did he just get friend-zoned? Alright, he was wrong; Kate wasn't catching the feels. "Ouch.." he mumbled, walking off into the living room. Nicholas bent down and scooped up Oscar with one hand, holding him against his naked chest as he scratched behind his furry ear with his forefinger. He went back into the kitchen and took a small glass bowl out of one of the cupboards and slowly filled it up with milk. Suddenly, Oscar latched into Nick's n****e clamping down on it with his short spiked teeth. "Ow!" He yelled, trying to pry the small puppy off though that only made him latch on harder. "Ow.. ow... ow.. holy-- I'm not your mama! Help help help," he let out, trying and failing to wiggle the puppy loose. The little sucker just wouldn't give up.

`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ Kate raised an eyebrow when Steve mumbled "ouch.", he didn't take it seriously right? She was just joking but before she could even say that she was joking Nick was already in the living room. Kate flipped the rest of the pancakes and placed a few more on the pan,waiting for them to be ready.After a moment Nick walked back into the kitchen,holding Oscar with his arm. Kate just looked at the pancakes,she needed to be careful to not burn them because she wanted them to have a delicious meal! Suddely,Nick yelled and it made Kate jump slightly. Kate quickly turned around to look at Nick and saw how he struggled to get Oscar off him because he latched into Nick's n****e! "Pfft.." Kate bit her lower lip until she started to laugh at him though she knew it must have been painful for him so she decided to help him."Here don't move." She dipped her pinky in the milk and moved closer to Nick,cupping the puppy gently in her hand before she placed her pinky near Oscar's mouth. Luckily the puppy let go of Nick's n****e and started to bite and suck on Kate's pinky."Good thing I'm here." She said as she laughed quietly to herself.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nick squeezed his eyes shut when Kate told him to stay still and when he felt Oscar slowly let go, he gave a soft sigh of relief and brought his hand up to his boob rubbing it gently. "Stupid mut..." he mumbled, looking down at his n****e. It was a dark shade of purple and it hurt so much! Kate said that it was a good thing she was there and he nodded his head. "Yeah. Thank you." Exhaling softly, the man took two glasses out of the cupboard and filled them up with orange juice, sliding Kate's across the counter to her. Nick sit on the counter, slumped over and began sipping his orange juice. He was still really tired and it was shown all over his face, with his dreary eyes and slightly raised eyebrows to keep his eyelids from falling. He was definitely not looking forward to work.

While Oscar sucked her pinky,she glanced at Nick's n****e and noticed how purple it was! It was actually scary but she hoped it will be gone soon. She gave Oscar more milk,using her pinky to let him drink the milk. She glanced at the pancakes and gently laid Oscar on the couter,feeding him with her pinky while her other hand flipped the pancakes. Kate glanced at Nick and noticed how tired he was."Go take a nap, breakfast will be ready soon and I will bring it to the bed." She said,smiling softly at him."Come on,I know you're tired." Kate said as she placed Oscar back into her other arm.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

"Go take a nap, breakfast will be ready soon and I will bring it to the bed." He heard Kate say, which made him look over at her surprised. She really didn't mind cooking breakfast while taking care of Oscar? He opened his mouth to refuse, though she insisted and told him she knew he was tired. Nick returned her gentle smile with a thin one of his own as he slid off the counter and kissed her cheek softly. "Thanks." The man gave her one more smile before he trudged away into his room and once he felt the comfort of his bed, he blacked out.

`•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸♥ When Kate was younger she sometimes took care of little kid and that's how she earned the money,but also she learned how to take care of a child and do another thing at the same time. Taking care of Oscar wasn't a problem at all,besides he was small and didn't move a lot. "Mhm." Kate nodded her head with a slight blush upon her cheeks,she watched how Nick went to his room before she gave more milk to Oscar."Your owner is really cute." She whispered to Oscar with a happy smile.
After like ten minutes everything was ready,Oscar fell asleep again so Kate placed him on the couch carefully then grabbed a tray.She placed the toasts on plate and the pancakes on another plate then placed them on the tray. Once everything was on the tray,Kate moved quietly into the room to not wake Oscar and not scare Nick.It surprised her that he actually fell asleep! For a moment there she felt bad because she has to wake him.."Nick...Nicky." She whispered and called him by nicknames to wake him up but he was still asleep,after she placed the tray on the bed Kate spoke again."Breakfast is ready." Slowly Kate leaned down as she moved strands of her hair behind her ear,she pressed her lips against Nick's cheek gently then slowly pulled away.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

He woke up to the feeling of Kate's warm lips brushing against his bearded cheek, and that made him smile tiredly as he looked up at her through partially open his eyes. He blinked a few more times as he turned on his side, rubbing the sleep out of his eyes. "Smells good," he commented in his low, husky morning voice. With a yawn that made him sound like a lion, Nicholas took his full plate of delicious looking pancakes and set it on his lap. The man showed a simple smile as he looked over at Kate. "I really appreciate you doing all this." He grabbed the maple syrup and drizzled some in a zig-zag fashion over his pancakes, taking his fork and butter knife into his hands. They were soft and fluffy to cut through. After taking a bite, Nicholas looked over at the blonde. "So. Tell me a bit about yourself," he said. "Anything. Favourite colour, hobbies, anything." He lifted his eyebrows questioningly, taking another bite of the pancake. "This is delicious, by the way," he added.

It's not good to sleep with an empty stomach. She laid down beside him then grabbed her own plate,taking the maple syrup after Nick used it. She placed a lot of syrup on the pancakes then took a fork."It's nothing really, I like to cook so I don't have problem with it." Kate shrugged her shoulders before she took a big bite from her pancake,chewing it happily. She glanced at him when he suddenly told her to tell something about herself,well Kate isn't an interesting person but she guessed she could tell him a little bit. Her smile grew bigger when Nick mentioned that the pancakes were delicious."I'm glad." She took another bite then placed her fork down."Favourite colour?Hmm..Aqua or baby blue." Kate said as she thought about the hobbies."Well my most favourite hobby is to dance,I'm bad at singing and drawing so I just dance." She shrugged her shoulders lightly."I cook too..I'm not an amusing person." Kate explained as she rubbed the back of her neck with a slight smile."What about you? I want to know more about you." Kate admitted beforeshe took another big bite from a warm pancake,some of the syrup was left near her lip because she was taking big bites but Kate didn't even notice it.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nicholas stopped eating to watch and listen to her speak, smiling some when she stated that her favourite colours are aqua and baby blue. Just like her eyes, was the first thing he thought. Nick knew she was a dancer! Seeing her move like that at the strip club and at the bar, he figured she would have a background in dancing. Lastly, Kate said that she cooks and that she isn't an amusing person as she rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "You gotta learn to give yourself more credit, Kate." It seemed to Nick that the girl didn't think very highly of herself when it came to her appearance, and now her personality. He looked down at his plate and cut himself another piece of his pancake when he heard her ask about him. Nick shrugged his broad shoulders. "There isn't really much to say," he began, although he paused when he spotted a dribble of maple syrup hanging off her bottom lip.
The man pressed his lips together in amusement, smiling thinly. "Hold on a sec." Leaning toward Kate, he parted his lips and took her bottom lip between his own, ridding the syrup like that. Nick pulled away and licked his lips, the sweetness of the substance lingering on his tongue. "You had a little syrup on your lip, I couldn't resist." He explained, smirking as he looked back down at his plate to cut another bite. "My favourite colour would have to be either lime green or blue and my hobbies include playing guitar, longboarding, reading, and video games." Spoken like a true dork. Nick finished up his first pancake, putting it in the inside of his cheek before he began speaking again. "Unless you consider shaking drinks to be a talent, I'm pretty much talentless." he added honestly with a soft chuckle starting to chew. Kate could dance and cook, two talents that Nick didn't acquire. Sure, he could sing, but he didn't consider that one of his talents. After all, he merely sang in the shower and for fun.

Since she was little,she had low self-confidence. Kate rolled her eyes when Nick said that there's no much to tell. "Oh come on!" She knew that he could say something about him,at least his favourite colour. Suddenly Nick started to lean closer to Kate's face,she blinked a few times because she was confused. Her eyes widened when she felt his lips on her lower lip,her face turned slightly red because she was blushing and her heart started to beat fast. "Y-You know you could've told me that I have syrupon my lip before kissing me.." Kate felt shy again,she lowered her head slowly and looked down at her plate so Nick won't see that she's blushing.
While Nick started to talk about himself,Kate breathed in then slowly raised her head up to look at him.His favourite colour is lime green or blue-just like his charming eyes. Kate was surprised when he mentioned playing on guitar then he said that he doesn't have talents,Kate shook her head to the sides."That's not true at all! You do have talents,you can play on guitar and longboarding. I can't do those things." She explained with a smile."Reading is good and so does video games." Kate would love to play video game with him,maybe it will be fun for both of them. She decided to change her position so she laid down on her stomach and placed the plate in front of her,this time she started to eat her own toast."Plus,you can sing. After all I heard you last night." She said with a big grin,looking into his eyes.♥ ¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´ `•.¸¸.••´´¯``•• .¸¸.•´

Nick shrugged his shoulders lightly upon hearing her say that longboarding and playing guitar are talents, finishing up the last of his second pancake. "Ever played 'Injustice: Gods Among Us'?" he asked curiously. It was one of his favourite games for PS3, which was one of the two game systems he had. Nick also had an Xbox 360. The male chuckled, beginning to slather jam onto his toast, when she brought up how he sang to her the night before. "Last night was nuts," he laughed. The man let his plate sit on the bed next to him before turning on his side, putting on arm above her head as he looked down at her. "Did you have anymore nightmares?" He asked with slightly arched eyebrows, taking a large bite out of his roast.

She answered."What do you need to do in that game?" She asked,raising an eyebrow. Kate couldn't help but laugh when Nick mentioned last night,yeah it was nuts! "Yeah,next time we will watch a funny movie." Kate said before she took a bite from her toast and raised her eyes when she felt Nick's arm above her head. "A comedy sounds nice. Happy Gilmore, perhaps?" Nick raised an eyebrow playfully. Happy Gilmore was one of his all time favourite movies. Why? Because Adam Sandler was in it. People called the man an over-actor, though Nick didn't see it. Adam Sandler was a comedic genius in his eyes. His smile was warm when Kate said that she didn't have any nightmares thanks to him. "Well, now you know who to call the next time you can't sleep." He pointed to himself with his thumb. "This guy." He gave a cocky grin with a short chuckle. After taking another bite of his toast, Nick realized he was full so he looked over his shoulder and dropped the bread onto his plate, rubbing off the crumbs from his fingers as well. "Injustice is a fighting game, kinda like Street Fighters, only with hotshot DC superhero icons like Superman, Batman, The Flash, Solomon Grundy, Doomsday, Aquaman, Cyborg, etcetera. The graphics are great," he added. Nick laid his other arm across her stomach absently, just getting comfortable.
