GROUP BETA Finn and Jack were marked men and would have to watch their backs for the rest of forever when she was up again.
Assuming she didn't drown in the water of forever deep of course.

Solomon weighed his options, looked at the knife, looked at Wilson and Milo, then shrugged.
"See you guys later."
Then he jumped into the hole.

He watched with an almost indifferent facial expression Jack and Finn as they moved, and for a moment Ian had thought they were going to carry Cass to safety, that they were going to be gentleman; and it almost surprised him, especially considering what he knew of the two.
But then they had set her down in the water and the sound of electrocution was terrible. Ian turned his face away, the stiff mask of utter and complete calm still in place upon his face. He'd seen enough to know he didn't want to see anymore, but there was no going around it.
Keeping his expression deliberately devoid of all emotion, Ian moved across Cass's body and went right.

There were no regrets. None. Cass's body had fallen and Finn had used it to his advantage, not caring or even hoping that she understood why he'd made the choice. He didn't even glance back to watch her body thrash in the water before going still.
Once he'd reached the other side, jumping across the water to the safety of dry land.
He promptly took the right passageway with Ian.

No more time. There was no more time to worry about the ticking or the fact that they should kill one in their group or that this was really similar to something Abbi had read in one of her favorite books she just couldn't name it, none of it mattered. What mattered was that Science Princess had a scythe pushed uncomfortably close to the teen's neck. "Aw man, they had scythes? I can't hear Viveca, but I'm pretty sure she would be super mad to know I was using a gun without her." It all felt nonchalant since the weapon hadn't touched her, that the welts on her hand still ached. But Abbi only sighed in the well practiced manner of teenagers before she shoved the gun into one pocket of her skirt. The other pocket (Blessed be skirts with pockets, may you forever be the preferred item of designers everywhere), however, held something else. "I am really sorry, Princess... But, yanno. Fire beats bubblegum."
With a quick dart forward and out, Abbi sliced Mimsy with a dagger she had previously concealed only because no one had questioned her on it. Otherwise she would have been unable to lie, since her face had never quite gotten into the practice of it. "I am really, really sorry..." The words that had been said upon receipt of the dagger, however, felt hollow. Abbi frowned for a moment before she turned her face up, wiggling the dagger at the ceiling. "They seem to be exactly what they think they are, yanno. Fighters til the end."

Your character was actually awake prior to the cylinders. You remember it now, slowly, but now surely. You were sitting in a room. On a chair. Someone was talking to you, a nice gentleman with a suit and a beard. He offers you a mint.
"Nice weather we're having, isn't it?" It's not a very good joke, and he sighs and puts the mints to one side. "Why do you think we are having the same trials that made you Hunters? Because we too, were once Hunters. Now, we're not expecting you to just break apart and find the truth, but we want to give you the opportunity to do so. I want to help you, because I see potential in you. You have the potential to change things for everyone."
He hands you a dagger. It glows a bright green, and fits easily in your pocket. "This dagger, it doesn't kill, it simply stuns. Consider it a gift of self defense. I don't want you to have to use it, but as events unfold you will begin to see that Hunters are truly not what they claim to be. Use it and realize its purpose. Why do you get one? Because you have the potential to understand us. Good day to you."
Everything blacks out again.
OOC
ABBI NOW has a weapon concealed in her pocket. It is hidden. Whether she chooses to tell someone or not is up to her, but some secrets are really not that secret, considering the amount of people around.
The dagger will FULLY PARALYZE any player if that player is stabbed. That player will not be able to use ANY WEAPONS for the remainder of the games. When using it, in ooc, quote this pm post to prove its legitimacy, and quote me.

The rest of forever? That was being particularly optimistic about their chances right now.
The only hesitation Jack had now was that of waiting for the body to stop moving; it would have been quite unfortunate to fall in the water at this point. Once the other two had crossed, he made his way over as well, taking the right passage with them. No way could he manage on his own right now, not unless they found some more bandages.

Oh, well weren't those lovely sounds! Milo stared at the hole in which they were hearing them from and what Solomon. Did he wanna go following? Course yeah, but he didn't have a shiny weapon to help like the others.
Okay, he was going to give this one more shot. And finally, he found something in the ground. Even though it was an actual weapon, it didn't seem to bring back that empty feeling inside his head. Odd how he missed Koume. But now he felt like he could actually do stuff!

The hole was actually quite shallow. Sol would slide downwards for a little further, along with anyone who followed him. It was dark, narrow, but walkable as it descended downwards.
The screaming had stopped and there was just now an awful crunching noise and a strange low thrumming, almost like the sound of methodical machinery. The noise grew louder.

Well that had been an almost disappointingly short drop, but Solomon didn't complain - he could have thrown himself right into the mouth of a monster. Instead, he and his little dagger that could took a few steps, paused, then looked up the hole again - "IT'S SAFE!" he called back before he continued on towards the source of the crunching noise.
Was it chewing or had her found the god in the machine?

While it was awesome to get word of the situation down beneath from Solomon (haha... haha, safe), all it took for Milo to jump on into the hole was getting a shiny object to hit things with. Sure, he could have done without... maybe, but well, he seemed more trained with handling weapons now. So, he jumped down into the hole and too was a little disappointed with how short the trip was. And also that he didn't land on the other trainee.
Milo blinked, listening to the sound that traveled down. "Bankizoku Gaiaku?" Though, there were probably many other baddies that dealt with machines, but Go-Onger was the first to come to mind.

Nothing was fair. People had to fight for their right to live. What's what the strong told the weak to remain justly so, to continue their reign, to let the ignorant struggle in bliss and weakness.
Nothing was fair. And the dagger did nothing as it slashed Mimsy's skin.
Then, as Abbi juggled it, it emitted a loud, electric spark, painful enough to make the Moon Hunter automatically let go of the weapon. It fell, flung wildly from force and momentum, and embedded itself right into Mimsy's knee, sparking wildly-
- Mimsy's shrieks of pain persisted despite herself as she thrashed uncontrollably on the ground. Abbi had lied. This wasn't a paralytic. This was going to kill the other girl.
OOC
OMEGA GROUP: You can try to remove the dagger from Mimsy. It shocks painfully upon contact. Roll 1d6. If you roll a 6 you successfully remove it, otherwise you take - 5 damage.
Confirmation that Aye was indeed pmed with a passive weapon!

GROUP PHI - GORE WARNING PLEASE NOTE
Their wristwatch began to beep. A red light slowly lit up even as the corridor continued to echo a mechanical churning noise. The squelching was infernally loud.
Too late.
At the very, very end of the tunnel they reached a larger cavern. It seemed made out of a strange, organic material, the base of filled with red liquid. The churning came from a strange machine in the center. A human arm was sticking out of it, unrecognizable-
- And the other end of the machine blood was churning out of it. Blood, and then a thick pink paste.

Chel watched everything move by in slow motion. Abbi revealing her hidden dagger, Mimsy convulsing on the ground like an animal shot with a tranquil dart. It was horrible, absolutely horrible. People- people- didn't do ... do this.
She'd been just about to jump in front of Abbi and defend the girl, but now everything had turned. Why had Abbi hidden a weapon? Where had she gotten something that powerful? Maybe from the pile. Maybe Abbi just got lucky with her weapon choice.
But then why had Abbi apologized?
Tenebrae's solid, logical voice had never been so sorely missed. "Abbi ... Abbi what's wrong with you?!" she called out. "We could have subdued her- kept her down together. You didn't have to- have to- ... <********>" If Abbi bothered to look over at Chel, it would be a face of utter disappointment. Betrayal even.
She quickly ran to Mimsy's side, holding up her sword to Abbi in case the girl actually ... tried something. Chel was stupefied by even the thought of Abbi- ******** ABBI- being aggressive. Looking back to Mimsy, she grimaced. The screaming and convulsing was almost too much to bear.
But she had to do something.
As her hands wrapped around the dagger, she felt her body give an enormous heave. The static from the dagger shocked her to her very core, and the pain was too much for her to keep her grip on the dagger. "Don't just stand there you guys!" She then leaned forward to try again.

Solomon barely took in the scene in front of him, glancing at his wristband, then up and-
He was only human, it might have been stranger if he hadn't vomited. He wouldn't feel bad about it either. Because what was in front of him was even sicker.
