EEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeep!
Tomorrow I leave for state!
I'm so nervous. I haven't practiced in weeks! sad
But I get a free night in a hotel, and an excuse to get away from my parents. whee
So yea....
I did spring cleaning in my room today and last night. It's all fabulous and tidy now. ^_^
Wish me luck at state!

Ok, so, for those of us who do not know how foencsics works, here's a quick crash course so that the rest of my post will make sense:
In my category, I have two pieces, which I perform in alternating rounds. There are 3 preliminary rounds at state, one semi-final round, and then a final round. In a round, you perform your piece in front of appx. 6-7 other competitiors and a judge. Each competitor gets a rank out of 5 (because a rank of 5 only gets you 1 point, and they don't give negative points.) So, you get scored 1-5, 1 being tops, and 5 being worst. How you do in your prelim rounds determines if you make it to semi-finals, and then your semi-final rankings , which they now base out of the number of people in the room(you have 3 judges there so you get an average score) determines if you go to finals.
Ok. So I got 1-4-2 in my prelims and made it to semi-finals. Then, at semi-finals, I got a 6-7-6 (out of 7).
So, I poured my heart and soul into this stuff for 4 years, and only managed semi-finals my senior year. I feel like a failure. But I'll get over it.

I'm tired, cold, dissapointed, and I have a butt-load of homework to do tomorrow. So this is the last post I'll be making for a while.
