Yes, I am curious as to that myself. I believe I know what one is, but I will wait to see your response. Besides, I could be wrong, it has been A LONG time since I paid any attention to it.

Okay, it took me a LONG while to read all of that (on the 16th page now, whew) but I am a bit confused. What makes a warlock so different from a vampire? Both feed of "energy", correct? I found some of the explanations to be cryptic (and I know you say you can't share much), so I'm still very confused on this. I see your point, but I also am thinking a bit like Amabael, because I can't quite comprehend all of this, mostly because I don't really get the difference between the two.
Could someone please explain this to me? I'm curious, but I don't quite get it.

Actually, like I said, while I am not sure what it means now, I know A warlock was someone who used their magics to cause pain. That is not what A vampire of this sort does. Understand better now?

Sort of. But then, does that make someone who uses "black" magic (or, just negative intending magic) a warlock? What about if you are a vampire and a witch, and this affects your magic? Would that be warlock activity, too?

Not neccessarily. For instance, if you are A vampire, then your abilities may or may not affect your spells and rituals. But any effects it has are not intentional. A warlock purposefully goes out and tries to harm someone with their spells and rituals. I myself know of A few that I would not ever give away, because then I would be as bad as one of them, for the intent is there. Understand now?

It's a fine line, I suppose...I think the vampire thing is too glamourized, first of all, and blamed too often. I'm probably too tired to be trusting myself to speak up here, so I'll shut up now.

Actually, you have brought some helpful info to the table, as it were, and we thank you. 3nodding Anyway, it is too glamourized, just not the same vampires involved is all.

Okay, I get the vampire thing, more or less, though the intention bit still has me a little befuddled. Because a psi vamp (which is usually in reference to energy feeding, correct?) still has that line that separates magic and "feeding" if you will, right? Is that it? And does this mean that someone that constantly practices negative-purposed magic on a regular basis (because they feel the need to, be it instinctive drive or spite or any of those) would/could be called a warlock?

Something tells me half the people here have no clue what I've "brought" however. sweatdrop Well, being that it's two in the morning, I'm going to make my way out of consciousness now. I bid thee all farewell, until the next time.
