Tavast didn't have to be told twice to try again. He tried to refocus his efforts, trying his hardest to ensure he impressed the doctor. He did not want to go to the bad place... So he started singing again, trying to sculpt the rocks better. Instead, he ends up smashing the rock he was working on, and was soon writhing around in agony from the device in question. Once it finally relents, Tavast whines and shakes it off, gathering more stone.

He was going to have to try again. He had not impressed the doctor and until he was impressed he wasn't going to get any piece. Attempting to sculpt the stone again, he sang his little scaly heart out -hoping beyond hope he'd succeed... Another smashed rock, another indeterminable amount of time writhing in agony as it felt his very body was being torn apart. How was he supposed to preform if they kept torturing him!

The canine had only just dared to wander out of the bushes, and just in time for more trouble. The cerberus flinched at the sight of their creator appearing, not fulling knowing who he was. Well not the full meaning of his title. Just that he was worse than Zuckerman. More dangerous.
Far more.
Fluffy knew that much. So if that man said bark and do a trick, you did a trick. So groggy as the canine was he wagged his tail as convincingly as he could before attempting to hop up on his hind leg and stumble a few steps forward. Then tumbled back down and received an 'attempt to do it again' type of warning.
Which he'd do. He would. He didn't want to see what that thing did. He really didn't.

Sadly, the rather drugged cerberus quickly stumbled back to his feet and glanced around to those around him before regaining his balance. Not a proper happiness from the man you didn't upset. He had to try harder, he did. He knew better than to try cute little looks on this one.
It didn't work.
So instead he tried to get back 'up' again, obviously intending to try it again. And impressing NO ONE. Almost as soon as the 'not good enough' attempt was started he came tumbling down with a sharp shock and was left whimpering ont he ground and rather shaken. Oh this was bad... this was very bad.
Never playing with the big cars again he knew better now.

Panting and practically frantic from the pain, Tavast tried again, attempting to focus his center and actually sculpt something that would impress the doctor. Again he started to sing and sculpt, praying to anything that could listen that he would impress... He did not want the pain again... If dragons could cry, Tavast would have when he was finally rewarded with a treat, and a nice big dose of sedation meds. Instantly collapsing, he just laid there, shaking and wanting all the humans to go away forever. All they did was hurt...

Francis didn't move from his rock. Screw that. Tricks were for losers. At least that's what he thought until the dial was turned and the device pointed at him. Pain roared through his body. His scaly body flopping this way and that. [Oh my god what.....] With one final flop, he lay upon the ground. Tail snapping back and forth. It felt like he was being ripped apart from the inside out. Not only was he tired and grumpy but now it hurt to even wiggle a finger.

Fluff managed to scramble back to his feet at that point, whimpering rather openly at that point. Not that it was going to impress anyone, but he really wasn't feeling up to much of any tricks. Purely knowing it'd only be worse if he didn't perform was what kept the canine going.
Sadly, he wasn't the brightest or best at tricks. So instead just took to trying what he could at that point. Rolling over. The humans liked that. Perhap-?
Not impressed. Another sharp zap as sent him whimpering loudly once more and cringing against the ground more pathetically than when Zuckerman had been screaming at them earlier. No, Mr. Moore was a lot more scary than security. This didn't look good at all.

Fluffy was getting desperate at this point. Life hurt. It hurt a lot. He didn't like when life hurt. This was why he didn't bite and scratch humans. This was all he got. So apparently going near them now was bad. He'd just avoid them forever. Stay on his rock and never go near them again once this was over.
Because it wasn't fair.
He whimpered lightly and looked up at the man a moment before wobbling back to his feet and instead of even attempting the hopping on his back legs again, almost like a human trying to walk. He managed to keep it up longer more due to fear of pain than anything. Which was apparently good enough since he kept it up a while before landing on all fours and found a biscuit tossed to him.
He took it, more to placate the human than for want. He'd taken it a bit bitterly before flopping out, still in pain and rather miserable. But at least out of the sight of the human for now. He just wanted to sleep in peace, and maybe munch the biscuit when he had the energy for it again.

Again Francis was slow to start. He was still stuck on the first initial jolt when a second soon came. HOW WAS HE SUPPOSE TO DO IT IF THEY KEPT PUTTING HIM IN PAIN?! It was not a great motivator in his opinion.

Fine. Finnnnneeeeee. He would do the stupid trick if it would just stop the pain. Picking himself up off the ground, Francis began to dance. A lively little jig upon his rock. All legs flailing. Claws tapping in time as his tail swung back and forth to some imaginary music in his head. Humiliating. Just go away and leave him alone please he's had enough excitement for one day. And it wasn't even HIS excitement.

Now that Zuckerman was gone, Kip had nothing better to do and returned to preening. Which hopefully cleaned his feathers up nice enough that he'd be able to fly again. Or at least well enough until he could properly clean them up in the lake afterwards. Because he really did need to be able to fly. Especially after Dr. Moore's announcement.
:Tricks?: The harpy tilted his head, much like an owl would. Though unlike some of the others and fret over it, the harpy was delighted. Because tricks meant one thing.
Treats!
Eager to begin, Kip puffed out his chest, waddling towards one of the handlers in the area and went through his usual routine of tricks that they had taught him. Which mostly involved the typical bird tricks, such as playing dead, fetching things, and even figuring out challenges. Challenges which were similar in design to those set up for regular birds, but much more advanced and involving a lot of careful thinking and skills. All of which he had learned to hone since his 'birth.'
They had to prove he had some intelligence after all.
Once he had completed them, he returned to his handler to retrieve his reward. Which he then took delicately in one claw, extended his 'pinky' and grinned at the others; oblivious to the pain they were currently suffering.
Oh yes, look at him! He finally got a treat!

As much fun as he was having with the newest guests, Caesar knew as well as anyone that seeing the doctor man was bad news. He'd been good! He hadn't done anything to that car! The bigfoot looked like a kicked puppy as he shuffled into order to do his trick. It was half-hearted and barely passable. Not passable enough. Caesar whimpered as he attempted his dance again, shuffling awkwardly, but the pain of his first punishment was still fresh.
