((Yes, this is late and chronologically, way off. But I can't compensate for the fact that I have to work - and I do want to at least TRY to continue posting here.))
"Hmm."
Rage had heard what Owle said. He had processed it in his brain. But he didn't react like he normally would - because, all things considered, a lot of weird stuff had been happening lately.
But what Owle said wasn't part of it. That much he was sure of. But he was also sure that the girl was telling the truth. She said she'd explain later, and that was good enough for him.
Owle, do something for me. Wake me up when you're done whatever it is you're doing there. I'm tired.
Splaying himself out on the ground, he put his arms behind his head, drifting off to a fitful and oddly restful sleep for such a disturbed and dangerous place....

In between Owle's demands, Lazenca's fueling will, and the magical feather..of.. angelus-- one would think Vahn had been overdosed on health.
He felt something flowing into him at a alarmingly fast rate, and only when he forcibly shut his own 'gate' did that flowing sensation cease. A part of him had wanted it to keep coming in... as if bathing in it would have made everything better.
But for the moment... he was indeed in full control of his body and mind.
Lazenca...
"Christ...kff.. don't spam me all at once with Curaga or anything."
His skull throbbed, and every single muscle, bone and ligament burned from over strenous use. Somewhere deep inside was the damage done to him internally by taking that Centaur's draught.
He had felt like he was drowning in nothing but darkness... and then felt at the time like a multiltude of hands had grabbed hold of him and simply yanked him back up.
He simply lay there, half sitting up and half laying against Owle. Yellowed eyes were staring out at everyone, injured, tired and all around relieved faces staring back at him.
"...I need a vacation."
He laughed softly, even though it hurt so damn much to do so.

"Sezahm. Sorry about that." His words were to both Flare and Vahn.
"I'll be alright." His head pounded, and his ears and nose had blood dripping from them. He was also periodically coughing up blood and sweating. "Just need some sleep... and food." With a grunt, he leaned forward and lay his forehead against the ground.
"Lots... of food."

"Mayn, what a week." Shouyin popped open his car door, that '66 Impala SS hardtop looking as spiffy as ******** ever, and got inside. He would've made arrangement with whoever decided to accompany him to the nearest city, and removed the baggage of whoever didn't (Vahn and Alexiel specifically, unless they happened to come).
A sigh and he'd flip the stereo on, some song about this guy named Wonderboy coming to life in the speakers. He'd probably go to Durem, find a shop where he could sell off some of the extra fancy junk he was now packing, and then go back to Lu Bu. ******** if this little adventure didn't make him miss Ray to one extreme degree.

Flare Sithfallin Flare, now that there was nothing more she could do to help, was perfectly content to follow the lead of Charles and get drunk off her a**. At least, she assumed that's what he intended on doing. ...wait, he was going to be driving that van she hoped to take a ride in. Either she had to change her assumption, or start looking for another ride to a hospital somewhere. Before she ran over to the wolfman, Charles raised his right hand like he was swearing on the bible. "Don't worry about me," he said, "it's literally impossible for me to get drunk. One of the double-edged swords of my 100 percent tolerance." After she ran over, the Chauffeur suggested, "Give him some of your healing beer."

It was over. Sejai was gone. The world was saved. Everyone could go back to their lives and that's just what Alex would do. There was a doctor in some hospital waiting to pull a dirk out of her shoulder and after that, a nice hot bath and a good meal before it was back to work as usual. There would be no more lessons to teach Sejai how to speak Gaian. No more wondering where the girl had run off to. Alex would be alone in the shop again, except for Dae of course, who was probably off looking for more shinies by now. So, it was back to Latent. Back to a shop no one ever visited. Back to a life without cares.
Alexiel would pull her bags out of Shou's car before he took off and start walking north, it felt like a good direction. With one last parting comment for Vahn alone, Alexiel would head off into the sunset? Sunrise? Whatever. 'Thanks for the help. I owe you my life... so don't be a stranger, look me up in Latent if you ever need help... Devil.'

"Well...take one, then."
Owle was smiling down at Vahn, relieved. He wasn't dead...he wasn't going to die. She didn't have to lose anyone else she had barely gotten a chance to care about...
"I'm glad you're alright."
Her daughter was dead; if only she had known before, who Sejai was, she could have...
Would she have believed it? No. No, she probably wouldn't have. She would probably have wanted to run away and deny it. It still saddened her, that that woman...Alex, was her name?...the woman who had punched Rafe after Sejai's death, the one who'd wanted to destroy the world cause everything was lost...that woman probably knew Sejai far better than she did, and had far more right to claim Sejai as family. It saddened her that Sejai never knew her as a mother, and that because of Owle's own actions Sejai had chosen to die rather than live on...but there was nothing Owle could have done differently. Sejai was a loss of something Owle had never had...
But now the father of what would hopefully be two of her children was lost to her, as well. Taken away by the Furies to face those ladies alone knew what. ...she was going to have to fix that.
"Ryuji?" she reached out with a single snake, finding the dragon's mind. "Come to the Void to pick us up. Some of us are too exhausted to walk home..." As an afterthought, she added. "Please."
((And that's it for me, here, unless Vahn wants to talk to Owle more.))

((Alrighty. I'm just going to assume Ryuji brings Vahn, Owle, and a sleeping Rage to the Firebrand. And anyone else who wants to come along, I guess.))

((The beer isn't actually magical. Laz was the one healing Flare; but because Flare can't sense energy, she had no idea what was doing the healing. She just knew her wounds started closing when she started drinking. lol ))
"You'll get them both," Flare said, though neither of them were in her power to give. She made sure Lazenca had a ride out of the Void, then either hitched a ride with Charles, Allen, and Stryphe, or with Ryuji. After riding for some time, they would drop her off in the middle of apparent nowhere, where her sister Irene had an entrance to the underground home...there Flare would rest, and heal. When she was ready, she would return to the Firebrand.

Lazenca was going to climb his way into Shou's car and lean heavily on the door, likely falling asleep instantly. Wherever Shou went, Laz would end up.
Hopefully it was a place with some bloody, raw meat.

When Athan had finally awoke, everyone was pretty much gone. All that was left for him was the creepy silence that resonated throughout the void. The type of silence that was just too loud to listen to.
For a moment, Athan actually thought he had died. But when he sat upright and the pain from his injuries flashed back into his mind, so did the realization that he was very much alive.
"Guh...well, that was fun."
Athan stood up, his hand resting upon the pommel of his newly attained weapon. Perhaps, some day, he'd find a new weapon to replace the one he had lost in the abyss. The chaotic blade was nice and all, but there was just something about having to hurt himself in order for it to be used properly that just wasn't too appealing for him.
He wasn't all too sure where he would head to next. He could have probably chosen to head to the Northlands, where he was raised. Perhaps find some guidance there.
Or, after a short stint at a hospital or nearby temple, Athan figured he might just take up the woman...Owle's...offer to celebrate over a few drinks at the Firebrand.
"Really need to invest in some form of transportation."
He chided himself as he took his leave of the void.

"I guess it's about that time to get back to normalcy," Charles said as he walked back to the armored van, Stryphe already there waiting with a newly-found cigarette in his mouth. As it turned out, the destruction of the Viceroy and his minions also meant that it was time for the milkmaids to disappear. Stryphe didn't seem very happy about this.
Before going any further to the van, Charles turned to Sam and asked, "You need a lift somewhere?"

(To refute what Degs just posted...)
Allen, in fact, didn't walk to the van with Charles. For that matter, he hadn't really moved since leaving the void. Instead he had simply stood there, left arm hanging uselessly at his side and his open wounds still seeping small amounts of blood. Considering the state of his shirt and now non-existant trenchcoat, not to mention the number of open wounds he had, someone might have thought he needed help.
But nobody did. And so, at about this point, Allen's body finally gave out. And just collapsed, his body crumpling to the floor. Still breathing, yes, but barely. With the blood loss from this added to what he'd lost with his wings earlier in this whole fiasco, not to mention the wounds themselves, Allen was gonna be in trouble.
The price he pays for pushing his body beyond what it can handle. Those seven seconds cost him dearly, for an attack that didn't really work.

Flare would have expected Allen to have said something to her after she congratulated him. When he hadn't, she'd left him to his own devices, figuring he might need some time to be alone with his thoughts. And then he went and fell down.
"Charles," she called. She was strong, but she was injured and her right arm wasn't working at all. "Help me get him in the car. We need to get him to a healer, quickly."
((This has dragged out long enough.))
