"Please tell me you're not making an accusation on Mark Jerry, Based on that the poor man is frothing at the mouth." Dakota crossed his arms, "I'm going to let it stew for a moment that three death members are currently suspected, as well as Lance and Dwight. Caelius is out, we were all there for an alibi when that council member hung himself. But he's the one the council was after..."

Jerry lost his fervor, sagging in his seat as he pushed his glasses up his nose, glancing Mark an apologetic expression the man must have missed on account of being unconscious. "We're running out of TIME guys."

Yup, Ami had completely checked out. "What an idiot," was all she offered to the situation.
To his second conjecture, Ami said, "I don't remember him saying how long the time limit was." The box was still lightly ticking. "There is always the options that the entire thing is a-"
A look up to the intercom and Ami fell silent. She wouldn't finish that sentence. "How much time DO we have, O?"

Lucky was beginning to find a fascination in toying with the strings of his jacket hood while everyone else bickered. It felt like the more he learned, the less he knew. The words began to tune out into meaningless babbling. This was all a little much to take in all at once and the faint but constant ticking coming from nearby was not helping.
"Is there really problem if each pick different suspect?" he spoke finally, in spite of himself. He didn't like the way his voice sounded right now, strained, unsure of himself. "Is only plan I hear that makes sense, now."

"The time is NOW." There was a strange noise, some muffled shuffling through the system and then a steady ticking at the other end. The ticking steadily increased. "What will it be, are you ready to make your choices? You have heard all sides, you have heard your false leaders and then you have heard the words of JUSTICE. JUSTICE REIGNS SUPREME."
"So now you know the truth. The reason your precious leaders wont say anything, the reason why everyone is so quiet and nervous. They were ALL GUILTY. THEY ALL killed the Council and hid the evidence. They thought themselves ABOVE ALL RULES, even the ones they created. Corruption. Lies. Greed."
"So, here how about this. I see some of you have fought hard to discover the TRUTH. To see for their own eyes, and solve everything beyond the veil of carefully kept secrets your leaders take from you and take and take. Stand in the center of the circle of desks if you would like to follow me. You will be protected, JUDGEMENT will be passed on those guilty."
And then something incredible happened.
It felt like there was a mild earthquake, if those were commonplace for Deus, but then something else. A small shake and-
- All the power cut out for the facility. Several sirens went up at once. The shields were down. All secure areas were disengaged. The runic support in the labs was down.
"Those who stand with me will begin a NEW reign of TRUE Hunters. You will be the new division leaders, the new assistants, the new rule of council members to join me. This island is collapsing already, and with JUSTICE it will finally seal its fate.
The choice is for those who seek the TRUTH."

Dakota pulled his weapon out and used the glow from the blade to light up what was around them. With the shake and the reaction from outside of the room, Dakota could tell that one of the bombs might've gone off.
He just grinned and climbed up on his table.
"If the leaders thought the council needed to die, then they needed to die. I don't argue now, I don't disagree. I follow the orders of my leader..." He went to Edith and Charlotte now and winked at them. "I can't abandoned my ladies for some fool's revenge can I?"

And then chaos broke out, the voice called for Justice and claimed everyone present was guilty, above their own rules, riddled with all sorts of negative traits. He looked around at the division leaders, corrupt, suspicious, but as they had always been. He'd signed up under them and they had done what they promised, kept him alive and fought Halloween. He had no reason to go anywhere.
He met Harrison's gaze searchingly, and shook his head, a silent affirmation of his choice. If the moon hunter stepped into the centre, he would follow, he had a promise to keep after all. But his opinion was clear and his faith was that Harrison would be of the same mind as him.
Given the choice he wouldn't go with anyone, not for Justice, not for Truth. Not when it meant giving up the familiarity, the life he'd built up since he got here.
He saluted Allan and Simon from where he stood.
If anyone grabbed for power, he was ready to help amend the murder count to date with their names.

"Th-this place might... might be convoluted at times," Jerry breathed, finally digesting what was happening and took a deep breath of the inevitable. He wobbled to his feet, edging toward Allan and Simon, "Whatever happened, I trust our superiors to do what's best for all of us! We are NAKAMA." And if the bombs were going to go off, it would seem there would be no stopping it. Might as well get blown up with his morals in tact.
Another apologetic look toward Mark. At least the man seemed out for the count. Probably for the best.

The sirens - as well as the constant shouting through the intercom, the way the entire place seemed to rumble and shake around them - were making his head ache. Gale stayed sitting where he was, stunned into silence, and trying to figure out just exactly what had happened.
Was this real life.
<< Looks like the bombs are beginning to explode. Better figure out what you're gonna do, short stack. >>
Jinhai's voice was mild, but there was a slight undertone of bemusement to it as well, of apprehension, and Gale twisted the ring on his finger, pushing back his chair to stand up. His eyes flickered skyward, searching for the intercom in the dark, half lit room.
"And who, exactly, are you to decide that you get to be the one to make that judgement?" Gale shrugged. "Surely if you were so powerful, Oz, you wouldn't be hiding behind a microphone."
His gaze moved towards Caelius. Caelius, his stubborn, obnoxious, misanthropic a** of a Division Leader who'd tried to kill him (and everyone else) on multiple occasions and who probably would not give a damn if they all died right here and now.
Or really, even if they stood up for him. Caelius would have no ******** to give either way.
Gale sighed.
I'm going to regret this, aren't I.
<< Probably. >>
"Sorry," said Gale, as he walked around to stand beside (a still passed out) Mark and His Royal Highness, leaning on his now summoned rifle with both hands, as though it were a cane of sorts. "But I like where I am right now, thanks."
Well. At least he'd been (maybe) right about that whole they were all guilty thing.

Ami wasn't going to shout brave words at O. The idea of a new division was intriguing, but a bit laughable at this point. She certainly stood on the side of Deus Ex, but she'd be lying if she said the idea of a new regime didn't sound at least somewhat fascinating. Ami may have shot down stupid ideas in the past, but she'd at least give them the opportunity to explain before shooting down the stupidity.
< Ami stick with your friends! Jerry is right, you are NAKAMA!!!!!! >
Certainly it was a bit alarming that there was an earthquake. The dark scared her more than the earth trembling though. Her grip on Lex's hand might've increased, but if she was scared it didn't show on her face. Not a bit.
I'm wondering what he meant by Deus Ex is crumbling. Does that mean the physical building, or the metaphorical structure, hm?
< What? Who even cares?! >
Instead she just watched the chaos with a bemused smile. It was all so ...
amusing.

As the warning bells began to0 go off she soon upon instinct was finding her way to her feet. Chair discarded, she glanced around the room as her instincts as a moon division were kicking in. She glared at the camera. "And how would you doing this make you any better than what our leaders did?" Sure they killed the council, but to Ceres their leaders had gained her trust and loyalty, she was not going to throw all that out the door for the whims of someone hellbent on revenge. They had a reason to rid the council. Sure it might have been a selfish reason, but she was not about to condemn them for it. Summoning her sword and walked over to stand with her fellow moons, leaning against it some as she placed the golden edge of the blade on the floor. Quote: fail small phone post, sorry!

The sudden announcement, and Marcus tensed. Things just never looked good for Deus ex did it? A heavy sigh he stood, looking up and over to Dakota. "Is there any reason you have to be that loud Dakota?" The faintest smile was on his face. "Still trying the old Flirt and Fight. I swear, sometimes..." Weapon ready should it be needed, Marcus made his way to his moon brother, and by extension, Edith and Charlotte. His smile might have faltered, but he tried. "Plus, I'm not allowed to lead anything at the moment. Can't disobey a direct order."

The sirens, the announcement- Solia peeked up from behind Jason, wary. So... that was how the game was going to be played? Well... "Awkwardddddd." She said, looking to her sempai. Gale please. "Augh, why does everyone have to look so cool doing that." She let go of Jason, looking at her options.
"Nothing ventured nothing gained I supposed."
She stood in the center of the desks, looking around as if waiting for magical sparkles to suddenly happen.

There was the voice again, going on about justice and truth and all that jazz. And it seemed that he was right when he thought that someone was trying to turn them against all the leaders. It was all a rather elaborate ploy to do so to. Furrowing his brow, he listened as the speaker man asked for the hunters to rally with him. True hunters.... What did that even mean? Power was lost, and no doubt there was chaos going on about in the areas outside. The death intermediate groaned as he whined internally about how today sucked once again. He then watched as some hunters took their place by the current leads. So far only one was bold enough to stand at the center of the desks. His gaze drifted over towards Caelius and his unconscious assistant. The man terrified him. He really did not like working under the guy. And a part of him wished that he hadn't survived the Haunted House. He also disliked the way things were run as they were right now. He wanted change. But not like this. There was no telling just what this sort of change would entail. It could end up being worse from what his hopes would be. If the past had taught him anything, it was that he really should not go against the man. He should not doubt him, even if it went against his moral fiber. The Death lead was extremely capable. Personally, he himself, was not really cut out to be a leader. Slowly, he pushed himself up to his feet and summoned Tooley. Looking at her on his arm, he made his move. "Nothing is true... everything is permitted."Deryk stood by Gale and Caelius, though he didn't seem particularly happy. "I'msodead..." he muttered. Well, at least he wouldn't die as a deserter or something.
