Monday, as I'm sure you can tell by his quote and nickname, has an appallingly negative self-esteem. Do you know Ish Everheart? Monday is almost exactly like him. He's got the same apathetic look on his face, the same slump in his stance, and even a bandana over the lower half of his face. The only differences are that he's platinum blonde, not always hungry, and doesn't speak at all. He communicates via writing on his ever-present notepad, and judging by his short sentences, he's not too social. But by the look of his nice handwriting and the doodles he adds to his written comments, he can almost also have a playful side.

And this is my story......I took a vow of silence.
Yup. Vow of silence. He's not mute at all, he just chooses not to talk. Why? That's a secret that he hid along with his voice. Some police records mention that he lost his parents when he was a kid, and he lived with his grandparents afterwards. Psychiatrists say that whatever happened to his parents was so traumatic that it muted Monday.
...So I guess he is mute.
Anyway, Monday started getting bullied and picked on for his inability to speak when he was in elementary and junior high. It was because he had no friends and was bullied that he was given the nickname Monday, because, like the day of the week, nobody liked him (and it's also how he lost emotions on his face).
Wanting to protect him, his grandparents moved to the city here, and they told the school that he was under a vow of silence, or Mauna, for their Hinduism. They gave him a bandana that mentioned him being silent, but it was more to hide that frozen frown of Monday's.
It was still summertime when he moved down here, so he still had time before school started. As he wandered the city in search for a place to run to when (or if) the bullying got out of control, he found himself inside one of the huge supermarkets (like Wal-Mart's Supercenter, Sam's Club, or H-E-B Plus). He walked around before running into one of the workers there, and he was surprised to see how similar the man was to him. It was a man about his height and build, only he had dark hair and a smile on his bandana. The two got along instantly, and within a week they became best friends. But now Ish has gotten himself in a relationship, and Monday finds himself getting lonelier and lonelier. Don't get him wrong, he's happy for Ish, but... what about him?

I'm gifted with the abilities of:
Absolute Silence - It's... a gift, of sorts, from Ish. This gives Monday the ability to make anything withing a five meter radiance silent, from the overpowering sound of city construction to the hiss of cicadas. Used mainly to help him relax, it can last for up to two hours.

I'm a neko, and I stand around 68 inches and weigh around 145-ish pounds.

Expect me to be here yet there and don't forget way over yonder. But don't forget I'm always a little mad and everything I say isn't what I'm always thinking.
One would think he is always happy or always serious, but that isn't quite so. In all truth, he just doesn't like bothering people with his own problems. His wisdom sounds crazy albeit there's never been a flaw in his logic and he enjoys riddles, puzzles and challenges which shows that he is pretty playful. He can sometimes be a chatterbox while other times he is relatively quiet. His poetry and art, however, makes people believe he's severely depressed. If it isn't in his poetry, music playing or art, he doesn't always express himself the way he wants to and people tend to misinterpret him. He can also be mischievous so don't be surprised if he plays a prank on you.

And this is my story... I came from a place far, far away where we do the unpredictable and no one takes us all too serious. What we do is what you just can't do.
He isn't exactly lying. Kasae came from a different realm altogether where predictability is zero and nothing is serious. What is impossible in this realm isn't there so the fact that he can't do some things he normally could do seems odd to him. Some may say that he's an alien of sorts while others think he's insane. Who can walk around with a head in their hands and still live after all?

From what he's actually told people, especially the school, is where he's from, his mother gave him no freedom whatsoever. To her, he was like an exotic pet she liked to show off and his father was always changing almost every week. He ran away from home when he was young and lived with his aunt and cousin for a few years, his uncle having departed from the world of the living shortly after his older cousin was born. After some time there and many fights with his cousin, he left their home and stayed with a friend.

His friend was a genius, or so he's said, and could see into the future albeit he's never explained what that has had to do with his life. This friend taught him everything he knows, but suggested the feline find some other friends and learn of other worlds. This is why he's come to this world. His abilities, however, is why he's in this school.

I'm gifted with the abilities of:
✓Ravel/Unravel :: This is like turning invisible or teleporting even depending on what he's doing. He literally appears and disappears in pieces, his smile usually the last thing to vanish and first to appear.
✓Magical Spit :: His spit quite literally counteracts most poisons, venoms and even the onset of infections. It usually has to be mixed in with herbal remedies for poisons and venoms though and it's hard producing large amounts of saliva in one sitting. Besides, who wouldn't think him licking them is nasty?
✓Confuzzlement :: It's a gift, or curse really, he's had for like ever. Anyone who interacts with him normally gets confused, but once he leaves the confusion goes away. What he says, however, during the interaction may take time to decipher although that isn't always the case.

And this is my story...
I won't speak of my past to others because the past is finished and gone. I will encounter no one from my past during my life for they are all dead.
I grew up in my village of the dark elves, a clan of 26 elves aside from myself. As I grew, they noticed I had a different ability to control the dark magic. The elders told everyone else to shun me, that I was different and could not live with them. I left with no more than the clothes on my back at the age eleven.
I meditated from two years and when I turned thirteen, I returned to my village in hopes of being allowed to return. The elders scoffed at me and turned to walk away. I lost my temper and my magic killed them. I went on a rampage and killed the whole village. The next morning I woke up among the debris and couldn't call upon my magic. I found the village's sacred chained blade and trained to try to regain my magic. I have regained some of my abilities.

Just gonna cut in for a moment here. Byron is level-headed for someone of his background, always prepared for a fight if he needs to be in one, always ready to do what needs to be done. He's that guy that you know that's so annoyingly fantastic that you almost hate him for being gay. Byron's never been in love, and is honestly searching for it, but in his travels, has learned a thing or two, namely that sex ruins a good relationship. So he sleeps around, trying to find someone to love him while he does, believing wholeheartedly that having sex first will get it out of the way and set forth a good, healthy relationship. Sounds good in theory, but once you put it out there...

And this is my story... Oh! I was born in the cutest little town called London, maybe you've heard of it? I loved it right from the beginning, I did, but as time went by, I lost my taste for it. So I packed my bags, kissed my mother goodbye, and headed off, exploring the world until I ended up here!
Again, stepping in. Byron really was born in London, England to middle-class parents, their only child. The two had always wanted a daughter, so when they were delivered a son, they were both heartbroken. When Byron's father, Jonathan, left the room to speak to the doctor about payment, the heavily-medicated woman signed off her son as Byron Marie. When he returned, he was shocked and slightly angry, but decided not to provoke a fight with his wife and allowed it. By the time they left the hospital, Mr. Simmons didn't really mind the name, after all. When he was ten, his father caught his mother in an affair that had been in place for almost twelve years. Although he wasn't sure whether or not Byron was really his son, Mr. Simmons, having raised the boy as his own, chose to not contest it and believe that this child was his boy. That week, he packed his and Byron's bags and, much to the distress of his now-ex-wife, left with Byron in tow. The two did travel the world, seeking new adventures as a father-son team, masking their travels with archaeological digs that Byron's father headed. By the time the boy had reached the age of sixteen, he'd had a lover in over thirty countries, but had no real place to call home. Tired of the constant moving and wanting his son to have at leas this senior year of high school, Jonathan Simmons took a job as a curator at a museum and placed his son into a well-known academy for gifted and "gifted" students.

✓Super stealth - This isn't really so much of a power as it is a defense mechanism. Some people don't react well to gay persons, so I pretend to be straight, simple as that. In fact, even my father doesn't know! And that's why it's super.

Other facts you should know about me are I really do love to cook. Honestly! It's what got me into the school. I love it more than making love, to be completely straight with you.
Side note: Byron's biggest fear is his father finding out he's gay. He doesn't care about his mother knowing, since he doesn't like her for breaking his father's heart, but if his precious Papa knew? Oh, it'd rip him to shreds. It's the only secret he really keeps.

And this is my story...[Bio: I was born in Key West, Florida with my mom being a single mother. My dad left to the Bahamas and never really came back, but she never bad mouthed him. Part of me always thought that my mom felt he left because of her, but if she did think that she never let it phase her. Anyway, I grew up around plants and took care of them with my mom since she was a florist and owned her own shop. It was really peaceful, you know, until my powers started kicking in.

Hallucikinesis is having the ability to manipulate and create illusions; I can duplicate myself or make people see things or hear things that aren't really there. Basically I could make them look psychotic if I really wanted too, but I'm not that much of a jerk. Anyway, once my gift started kicking in, it was causing a lot of havoc because I couldn't control it very well. When my mom find out she almost flipped, but of course supported me. Not everyone took it lightly though; everyone knew I didn't have a twin, so seeing a copy of myself wasn't exactly what they'd expect seeing.

To avoid any real problems before they arose, my mom had us move to a new city; by city I mean New York City. There was a lack of plants which I really didn't like, and my only solace was the new shop we opened up to pay the bills and such. There was a lot more business because of all the people that lived in the city, and our home was right on top of the shop. The only thing was I still couldn't control what I had, and it was affecting my mom because she was seeing things and hearing things that weren't there, and it was driving her crazy. Knowing this I left; I was sixteen. I went to Chicago, got a job in a mom and pop business, and trained myself. Eventually I learned to control it and eventually I found this school. I enrolled and I'm hoping to learn more about what I have.
