More dreams, always more dreams. Sleep had started to lose its safety as reprieve from the torments and woes of waking, had instead taken on a comically large and detailed, if distorted, version of wakefulness. Belladonna dreamt all too often now, woke grouchy from residual emotions and had to steal naps through out the day. Only those were safe, but it was just a matter of time before grey monsters infiltrated those peaceful times as well.
Nevertheless, she was rather impressed with the dream she found herself waking from this night. It wasn't the same familiar dance of woes juxtaposed with imagery of the things she feared. This time it was kind of... Adventuresome! Kind of fun, actually! There was a pretty wand involved and she'd chosen it without hesitation. After all, the sword was tempting and the crown put her off, so the wand would always be her choice!
Unfortunate, then, that when she woke and mumbled a noise, she found not the zombie she'd been sharing her room with but... A cute little creature?
"Oh, hello little one!" The witch chirped groggily, pushing herself to sit up and smile down at the creature. Awww, it was kind of cute! "You look lost? Oh look you've got a brother who is EATING MY SEWING TABLE NO AH STOP THAT!!!"
Panic set in quickly as Belladonna leapt from her bed to find that her room was being devoured. Literally.
Enraged by the fact that one creature was working on the legs of her sewing table and the other munching on the fabric that spilled from the table top, the witch stepped forward and quite vehemently kicked the first creature she saw.
"That is not to be eaten!!!"

He quickly recovered from being thrown into the shelf. He moved out of the way as the shadowling charged at him. It hit the shelf and knocked it down. Trinkets and books fell and rolled across the floor as it turned and went after him again. Micail was starting to wonder if he was the only one fighting these things. Fighting this thing was making a lot of nose and yet, no one had come to see what was going on. Were these things all over the place?  HP: 54/60

Waking up to Belladonna's screeching was enough to send the normally very groggy zombie into job alert. If semi drowsy high alert. So much for being dead asleep. And he had been having a lovely dream too, one that allowed him to feel sort of like a knight, even if there was more to it than wielding a sword. "Bells, what -"
...Was that thing eating her table? He squinted and scrambled for his glasses to confirm this, blinking several times at the sight. "Mrrr, away!" he grumbled, zapping one of them out of existence. But more of them were oozing up from the floor and - AND EATING HIS FAVORITE SHIRTS.
"Oh come on!"

Micail growled in frustration as he sat up. The shadowling was putting up a pretty good fight. It had once again latched onto his arm before he could move out the way. They had both went tumbling to the ground before he could manage to get the thing off of him. He stood and rubbed his arm where it had latched onto him. This was starting to get really annoying. He looked around his room searching for the shadowling he had thrown off him. "Tech... Alright. Come on. I know your here..." He spotted it over by his desk. "There you are. You..." He trailed off when he noticed it had a hold of his CD player. "Hey! Don't you dare..." He pointed. "You put that down. Don't you eat that!"HP: 52/60

Siddie woke out of a strange dream with the feeling that something strange had happened. It was the kind of strange that she'd first felt when she learned to grow claws, the odd half-twist sideways of an inner shift, everything in her a little misaligned until it settled into place and she got used to it. She groaned and tried to burrow deeper into her pillow. There were no morning classes today why was she awake -
There was a minipet sitting on the bed beside the pillow. It was not one of her minipets, and she wondered groggily where it had come from. Then it took a bite out of her pillow, and she sat up and shrieked, shocked. "Get off my bed!"
Clove roused drowsily, blinked at her, and obediently hopped down to the floor.
"Not you - oh my jack - " There were little shadowy minipets everywhere, and they were eating her things. Siddie lashed out at the one eating her pillow, slapping it right off the bed, and slid out from under the covers to scoop Clove up before any of the hungry minis could try to take a bite out of the drutten.
One of the shadowlings attempted to take a bite out of her leg. She shrieked again and scooped a textbook off of her desk, dropping the heavy tome onto a little cluster of the hungry things. The resultant squish was satisfying.

They were everywhere, bobbing and sliding around the room and gnawing on her things. Not okay. Siddie tried to stomp on one, but it just bit her foot.

She made claws with the hand not cradling Clove. That worked better. Shadowflesh shredded under shadow talons, and a circuit of the room later, none of the hungry shadowlings were left. Siddie made a small hmph noise of offended satisfaction, set Clove on the bed, and pulled her clothes on hurriedly. Then she scooped the drutten up, tucked it into her hood, and swept out of her room, slamming the door behind her with a little extra force.
So very not happy.

In her groggy, barely half awake state the witch had leapt right over the zombie to save her things and only now realized he was up too.
"Mort! Mort they are eating my things!!" Like he hadn't already realized that on his own. Awfully slow on the uptake at the moment the witch did notice he had come to the same conclusion, only the little monster he was fighting had taken to nomming on his shirts.
"All of you stop this at once!" She commanded in her most imperious voice. Hopefully these little creatures were like mini pets and scared of her Mama Belladonna voice?!
They were not. Instead they paused, blinked at her and continued to eat the things in her room. A strangled cry escaped the witch and she flashed Mort a most worried face. Why was this happening to themmmm!?

"Noticed!" He glared at the one eating his dedscr@g shirt and waded through the mass to try and kick it away...ineffectually. Maybe he really should wake up more before battling these things.
"Bit've help here?" he asked the witch, embarrassed for himself. "Just have to plow through few more..." His precious shirts nooooooOOOOOOOOO.

The shadow creature just turned its head and looked at him. It stood there for a moment as if it was considering what he said. Mical just continued to glare at it when it looked away from him and opened its mouth. "Don't you dare!" Micail yelled. The shadowling just ignored him and lifted the CD player up. Outraged, Micail gabbed the closest thing to him, which happened to be a pillow off his bed. He chucked it as hard as he could at the shadowling. The pillow plowed into it and sent it flying. The moment the pillow hit it, the shadowling dropped the CD player. HP: 50/60

"Um! Um! Um! How do I help?!" She shouted, flailing at the creature that seemed pretty dead set on finishing up one side of her sewing table. All her hard work and all that fabric wasted! It had been kind of a splurge too, such beautiful gossamer silk! The horror!
So upset over loosing her fabric the witch did absolutely nothing but flail uselessly at the creature. Ugh, she was so tired still! Why didn't they give her more time to wake up before she had to save her room!?

"By...attacking them...!" he all but shouted with frustration, nipped once more and unable to counterattack in time. His clothes! Jack, his mom would kill him for losing that suit. "Look, why not throw treats at them, buy us time t'get out n' see what the hell's going on."
It was a joke. A bad one. Look he was really annoyed right now okay.

Her treats?! Her precious babies that she cuddled and kissed goodnight and made sure she got all their brothers and sisters so she could have one big family?!
"If you think that'll work!" Belladonna squeaked as she hopped frantically around and flung open her closet door. The usual flood of treats and tarts did not rush out, and in fact... Nothing rushed out.
Not a single pet came out of the closet.
The witch stared with wide eyes into its depths and finally cast the same surprised, wide eyed look at Mort.
"Th-that didn't work...." Oh...

"No one... And I mean, NO ONE... messes with my tunes." A pillow may have not been the best weapon of choice. Sadly, it had been the only thing with in reach. No thanks to that thing devouring his stuff. He made his way toward the pillow he had thrown that was now in the corner of the room. No doubt the shadow creature was under it. That was made clear when the pillow was suddenly suck into its self and vanished into the blackness that was the creatures mouth. Once again Micail and the shadowling started clashing together. HP: 48/60

She...What? Mort made a face at the empty closet as much as he did at the fact that Bells had literally taken his suggestion to heart. "So much for that," he mumbled. Had those things eaten their pets? Or had the minies the sense to flee? He decided not to entertain the notion any further.
Growling, he grabbed one and crushed it in one fist, then did it to a second. "Out've the way!" What kind of creatures were these?! They didn't feel anything like they were made of natural Fear...
