Phil's sword swung with a beautiful grace. The fire connected with the mist which allowed the flames to die down a lot quicker then normal as the mist blanketed the areas of fire. The three Lightning clones were in kind of a terrible spot when Phil spun his sword about though as it managed to slice up and burn the clones pretty badly before the mist could kill the flames. Beck just started laughing to himself though as his plan had worked or was working anyways. Beck vanished from the area after a couple of hand signs and Phil would begin to notice something wrong with the clones. Sparks would begin to fly off the clones because of the injures they sustained from Phil's attack as they began to return to their natural state of lightning. The clones with their dying steps would close in on Phil and quickly disperse when they were on top of him. The mist being of conductive nature would use the lightning energy of the clones to create a giant electric shock right where Phil was. In fact the entire mist field was one giant realm of purely white and electric voltage! Which wasn't good for someone with Earth nature chakra!

Phil quickly realized his mistake, his hair began to stand on end, only one chance, he thought, he strung together some hand-signs and launched 4 Lava-release: Lava Globs straight up into the air, they landed at Phil's four flanks, then puddled on the ground. the cool mist quickly started cooling it off, turning it into pumice, but the heat that was being given off from the lava itself, it made the majority of the mist in Phil's person was gone, but not enough, a huge surge of electricity was coursing through his body, he had to let go of korungr, as it made a loud hollow 'cling!' on the ground. Phil was stunned, but he could jump out of the rest of the mist.
Beck was ready and waiting for Phil because as soon as he exited the mist he was aiming an earth shattering crescent kick towards the side of Phil's head. The move mainly was for distraction and he would use it to open up attack's to Phil's body and legs. Beck's hands would create signs at blinding speed and as soon as Phil blocked or ate the kick from Beck then his Kekkei Genkai would come into effect. With the Swift Release: Shadowless Flight technique Beck would begin a striking combo to Phil'sright leg, left leg, right side, left side, right leg, left leg right side, head, stomach, head with punches and kicks at top speed which couldn't be matched by anyone unless they also were users of the Swift Release Kekkei Genkai.

The ferocity of beck's attacks were swift and impressive, and powerful. But something happened, a cloud of smoke burst from Phil, a chunk of wood fell to replace where Phil once was. It was the substitution jutsu Then suddenly, out of the mist, Phil jumped out of the mist with Korungr in hand, and swung horizontally.
Beck gave his friend a quick wink as the giant claymore's blade came flying down towards him in a beautiful. The blade would met no flesh or bone however as Beck managed to use the Body Flicker technique to barely avoid the oncoming swing from Phil. Beck's hands flew like lightning as he used the Body Flicker technique to jump around a little to try and distract Phil before making his way behind his attacker, in the back of his mind praying that this next technique would even work in the first place. Beck had never really performed it before and only knew of the hand signs to create it and what should or would happen if it went off without a hitch. It didn't stop him from trying though because it was the perfect technique to go for in this situation and there was no turning back at this point. Phil had just come out of the mist and would still be wet and dripping because of that fact and Beck knew that he needed a powerful electric attack to stop Phil in his tracks while he was still covered in water. The water on Phil's skin would help to conduct the lightning based attack and it also helped because Phil was a user of Earth Release he was going to be taking a bigger blow then if it was someone else so it would add even more to the power behind Beck's move. Beck was now at a complete stop behind Phil and was ready to test his fate as he finished the hand signs for the technique. The amount of chakra he had to use and the elemental nature of the attack was going to be the easy part of this whole thing, but he didn't even know if it was even going to go off or be anywhere near strong enough to take down a tough opponent like Phil. It was a bold move to make and one that could cost Beck the match, but he had to give it his all or nothing attempt. All Beck could do was close his eyes for a moment to help himself focus his chakra and release all the energy that he had been building up since avoiding the massive sword swing by Phil. Beck's eyes opened and believe he was ready to fire off the technique. "Lightning Release: Electromagnetic Murder!"Beck shouted as the surrounding area was covered by a powerful stream of lightning chakra aimed mainly at his opponent.
Phil did not expect the body-flicker technique, he pretty much knew that it was the last move to make, one last thing to do, he did not stop swinging Korungr, instead he was swinging it 360 degrees, maybe I can deflect.... something! But no, it went straight over Beck's head, Phil lost balance and fell over and "dodged" Beck's attack
Beck watched on as Phil desperately tried to avoid his attack, almost laughing out loud as he watched Phil fall to the ground off balance. Beck used his quick speed to get on top of Phil as soon as he hit the ground, placing his hand on his friend. Beck would then use the Lightning Release: Lightning Bolt technique to send a strong enough jolt of electric chakra into Phil's system to stop this match, but not enough to hurt his friend badly enough so that he couldn't recover from their battle.

As Phil landed on the ground he let go of Korungr and grabbed his two kunai from his pouch and had both flat ends touching Beck's bare skin on both his arms. Now the Jolt of electricity had, two targets, himself and beck, even though Beck is an Electric user, he is still an Earth user. Phil had to think of something to make up for falling over. Phil knew that he was going down but he could at least try to go for a draw.
The jolt shook back through Beck's body as it charged it's way through Phil's. All Beck could do was grimace as it did smart, but no where near what it would be for Phil. Though Beck could use a Doton technique, he was still not as weak to Lightning Release as Phil would be. Beck gave a short smile to his opponent as he pulled his hand away after his technique had finished it's job.

The pain was not pleasant, and Phil waited until it was over, he opened his eyes and saw Beck standing there finally, it was over, Phil stood up and grabbed Korungr and rested it on his shoulders, and returned his kunai to his pouch. he reached out his hand and said "Nice, you got me good there. but I have to practice my techniques. It was fun. However, don't think for a second, that it will be the same outcome next time!"
Michael clapped his hands and yelled "wow guys that was amazing. Out of the three of us I would defiantly say, Beck is the strongest of us, but Beck who would you say is second." As Michael said this he thought of something. "Hey Beck later on can you meet me by the puppet workshop?" He had been made part leader of the upcoming mission to the warehouse of his grandfather, so he would invite Beck to join. Someone with his skills would be a great aspect for said mission.

Beck took pride in the fact that Michael just told him that he was the strongest. He knew that he was strong, but he also knew that he could use a lot of work. It was still great to hear the compliment from his new friend though."I really don't know to be honest. Michael, you already so strong at your puppet work and your long range combat is great. Phil, you have outstanding close range skill and great natural strength. To wield a blade as grand as yours is a feat all on it's own. To say who is better isn't for me to say. You have are so different and so great that I can't possibly make a chose. I have to say it's a tie,"Beck said with glee. They were both is new friends and he didn't want to hurt feelings saying something rude. To be honest though he has only faced they once a piece. He tied with Michael and he managed to defeat Phil. The only reason he lost to Michael is because he didn't take into account the poison that he was using. It was far to close to call a second place."Puppet workshop? We have one of those? If you show me where it is then I have no problem meeting up with you there. May I ask why you want me to met you there? You're not turning me into one of those creepy Human Puppets I hear about?"Beck said in an awesome scared tone. He knew that couldn't possibly be it, but it never hurt to ask. Beck was excited to help out his friend in whatever it is that he needed him for. Hopefully it was something that his sensei the Kazekage will approve of.
Michael laughed at Beck and said, "no man. Two reasons why not, one I would have to be a Sanin to do that and two, we only change people into human puppets, when they ask to or if they are our enemy. And sure I'll show you." He then pulled out a map and showed Beck the puppet warehouse near the KazekaHe's office.

Beck was relieved to hear that no dark shenanigans were going down and positioned himself so that he was able to see the entire map that Michael pulled out for them. He looked it over and noticed it was the village they live in which made it extremely easy to navigate. He watched as Michael pointed out the Puppet Warehouse, seeing that it was right next to the Kazekage's Office. Though Beck was under the guidance of the Kazekage he had yet to met him in person and was thinking of going by there later to have a talk with him. Everyone knew where the Kazekage's Office was and so that meant the Puppet Warehouse would be easy enough to find."Oh I see! Right next to my Sensei's office. That means it won't be to hard to find later. When did you want to go there by the way,"Beck said as he looked over the map once again to be sure of the warehouse's location. Beck was excited to be accompanying his friend on whatever adventure they might be having in the very near future.
Michael laughed again and said, "somewhere around sevenish that way master Darrelo has time to return and that such." He wasn't sure if he was aloud to tell him yet about the mission, so he hinted around the fact that it was supposed to be for puppet brigade members only.
