Allison was on her way back. She was not comfortable with the odd scents that invaded their town. Her and her wolf felt on edge and she is more observative of her surroundings. Keagan wasn’t sure if it was safe for Leila to return but they have no choice in the matter. The wild pack must feel like a prisoner to her. “What do you think of this Jasper fellow?” he asked Kieran since the shifter clashed with the wild wolf once before. He felt that something doesn’t seem right at all. If the other group of shifters were able to negotiate then why did they take a female shifter into their midst without her consent? Was she forced to go with them? He wasn’t able to ask these questions directly. Hopefully they could find his sister.

"I don't trust him." Kieran replied thickly. "He essentially abducted my sister. I don't care how charming he pretends to be. I think he is scum." Kieran crossed his arms over his chest.
"Let's find Allison before she is the next child bride around here...." He started walking.
"Leila I think has already made her peace with the situation."

Aaron could smell Daisy before he could actually see her. He followed her scent until he was standing across from her. He cleared his throat and moved toward her.
"Hi! I'm Aaron." He held out his hand to her. He felt so nervous. She was pretty and he couldn't seem to pull himself away. He had never experienced this before.

“Her wolf perhaps,” Keagan said as they kept walking. “A female wolf’s instinct to succumb to a prominent male is uncanny. Female wolves are more or less strong creatures but once they are shown their place they have no choice but to obey whomever was strong enough to suppress them. It is in our nature.” He wasn’t sure where he was going with that. It seemed like a very important fact to know. “Our humanity fights the wolf which is why you can’t seem to belong in either world. It’s not easy but one can live amongst the humans if you’re mind is strong enough to deny the wolf. But question is, would you be able to live with yourself knowing you can’t procreate because of your genes?” Allison sniffed the air making sure she wasn’t followed as she reached the center of town. A few more blocks and she’ll be home.

Daisy was holding the glass of lemonade with both hands, and when Aaron approached her, she gave him a small smile, and took his hand in her own. "Daisy. I know we saw each other earlier, but we didn't have the chance to get formally introduced." After she shook his hand, she held the glass again, letting her eyes look past him for a few moments. There were an awful lot of people around, and it only made her feel a little more nervous. Her pack before this was not very big at all, and this one was maybe three times the size of that.

When she looked back at Aaron and locked eyes with him, it was almost like a chill went down her spine. It was an odd sensation, and one that she had never experienced before. "Theres a whole lot of people here.." She took a drink of the lemonade, and motioned for Aaron to follow her. She needed to get out of the house, and at least be somewhere outside where she was not getting overwhelmed with the scents of all the other wolves.

After placing the glass down on a table, Daisy moved outside, and went around to the back of the building, where there was a small garden. "This is much, much better." It was a beautiful night, the sky was completely clear and it wasn't cold out. She took a seat in the grass, and let out a content sigh. "So, where were you guys before you wandered here?" Since they were a new pack, she figured that they weren't local.

"So....you think it is her Wolf who accepts it? Do you think her human side doesn't like him? Would real make killing him an easier decision. It's hard because I know they are essentially one now. He did that so he could hide behind her skirt like the little girl he is." Kieran sneered.
"I don't know. I don't know what I feel. I never wanted any of this. I never even dreamed of any of this." He looked away.
"I never met my Father....Leila did, not that she remembers him. We didn't know we were Shifters till very late in life. Once Leila realized she was a Shifter she freaked. She didn't know what any of it meant. Our grandparents revealed the big secret. I didn't realize I was a Shifter till a few months later. Leila by now accepted it, and was really excited about it. I was horrified by it. It changed all my plans. So now I don't even know how I feel to be honest." Kieran stuffed his hands in his pocket. Eyes on the ground as he walked.

Aaron followed Daisy out. He couldn't resist, she was so intriguing. His Wolf was fascinated by her, and his Human's interest was definitely piqued. He wanted to get to know the girl who made his Wolf actually think about a Mate. Till now he had just wanted to have fun.
"I'm from all over. My Father and Mother are scientists. So we moved a lot. They are both Wolves as well, and did lots of stuff trying to get areas marked as protected to ensure various Packs had space to live. Pretty cool. I am the middle child. I have a younger sister and an older brother. My sister is in school to be a doctor, my brother is a lawyer. I'm the outcast. The musician in the family." He laughed.
"So....what's your story Daisy? How did you end up here?"

“It’s possible. You both haven’t been shifters for too long. You don’t know how to control both parts of yourself,” Keagan said as he stopped to sniff the air. He felt as if someone was watching them. “You’ve only known one side which is your human side. Your wolf however is the untamed part of yourself. It knows what it wants and will go for it but your logical human side holds it back. When you shift you’re not fully in control because your wolf can’t trust your instincts. For an Alpha, being one with your wolf is important. You’re strong now as a human but combined with the wolf you could have taken down a Beta without a problem. Think of the wolf as your feelings, the heart of who you are and your human side is the brain, the logical thinker who analyzes everything. With those two clashing, you’d constantly be in battle with yourself.” He started walking again heading towards the center of town when he caught scent of his sister.

Daisy was looking up at the night sky as he spoke. It was a perfectly clear night, and not a cloud in the sky. Being here in the countryside was a whole lot different compared to being in the big city, where the light pollution was so bad that you had to strain your eyes to even see one star. When Aaron began to speak, she lowered her eyes and looked at him, brushing some hair behind her ear. When he asked her how she had ended up here, her heart ached a little. She lowered her eyes to the ground and ran her hands down her legs. "Well..." She started, taking a soft breath to calm her nerves a bit. "I lived with my mom and dad, and we were in the city. My older brother had gotten in with the wrong gang, and let himself get a little too wild on the night of the full moon, and one of his friends parents was a hunter.." She paused for a moment, picking a small flower, and twirling it in her fingers. "His friend told his parents about our secret, and one night when we were asleep in our home, they torched the place, and had people standing outside every door, waiting for us to try and leave to they could kill us." When she looked up at Aaron, she forced a small smile.

"My brother was the first to be killed, he was shot right in the head with a silver bullet, by his best friend. The next was my mother. When it was just me and my dad left, he instructed me to stay behind him, and that he would create a distraction so I could get away. I managed to get away, but I was shot, and had to dig the bullet out before I died from it." She turned to the side slightly, dropping the sleeve from her shoulder to display a circular wound. "I've been on the run from these people for a while, and I just kind of stumbled upon this town, and when I caught the scents of other wolves I thought I was safe...but I guess they followed me here anyway." Her inner wolf was whining, crying at the memories of the night that she had lost everyone. It was hard to keep herself from succumbing to those emotions, but she managed to fight them back, letting her wolf grieve on the inside.

Kieran nodded in understanding. He understood what Keagen was saying, and it made sense. It was hard though. Hard to let the Wolf in and take over. To follow his lead. Kieran always feared what his Wolf was capable off. Scared what would happen if he really let go and gave into his Wolf.

His Wolf was an animal after all. Animals did not think of others feelings, or understand consequences. Kieran hated the war that was going on inside him constantly but he also hated the fact that his life would never ever be his again. It would be shared with the Wolf, and the Wolf's life was tied into it's Pack. He had no Pack, and what was worst. Leila did have a Pack. Kieran would never be of his Clan again. Nor would Leila. They wouldn't travel anymore because a Wolf's territory and Pack were the only thing that mattered to a Wolf.
"I had a life before this all happened. I feel like I am expected to turn my back on my family and friends, my whole life that I had before this. It is a horrible thing to do and feel. My Human side misses them, and my Wolf just says they are not out Pack anymore, and that we need a territory and real Pack. My Grandparents raised us, how can my Wolf not see them as family?"

Aaron listened and felt sorry for Daisy. Her whole world was shattered. Taken from her by Hunters. People who did not understand them, and feared them so they choose to attack them. It made Aaron angry and want to protect her. She was alone and afraid and without a Pack.

Without even thing Aaron wrapped his arms about her. He laid her chin on top of her head. Tucking her body in and against his. He inhaled and his Wolf felt pleased and protective of this young woman. Aaron held her for a moment before letting her go.
"Sorry...." Aaron apologized but he did not mean it. He and his Wolf were in agreement. This girl needed someone, she needed a home, and needed to feel safe.
"Our Pack is young, just starting out. We will never try to replace your old Pack but we want you to know you will always have a place within out Pack. We will fight alongside you if you choose to fight. If you want to run....well...we will fight them and hold them off to give you a head start."

Daisy was surprised when Aaron wrapped his arms around her and pulled her into a hug. He must have felt the grief her wolf was feeling. Slowly, she wrapped her arms around his torso, and it sent a wave of emotions through her. It was almost like a kind of static, something that she couldn't quite explain. When he broke the hug, she rubbed the back of her neck gently. Her wolf was going crazy, telling her to reach out and embrace him again, but she refrained. "Well, that is sweet of you. I really appreciate it...It would be nice not to feel like I am all alone in the world." Her head nodded to him, accepting the invitation to his pack. Even though her wolf was slightly hesitant, she knew it would be the right decision. Their kind were stronger in numbers, and now that the hunters were here, they were going to need all the strength they could get.

She dug her foot into the ground for a moment, and was about to say something else when she felt a wave of heat wash over her. It was that time again, and it seemed to come on without a warning. Her heart-rate sped up a little, and she could feel the hormones leaking into her veins. "Oh, god. I need to go." She offered a quick smile to Aaron, and started speed-walking away from Meadow's place. She was beginning to go into heat, and it was the absolute worst timing, especially being around all those other werewolves. With each step she took away from that place, her wolf fought against her, begging her to turn around and go back.

Meadow Blackwell

Meadow looked at Daisy and Aaron talk. It brought joy to hear heart. After a while Daisy didn't seem so comfortable anymore. It bothered Meadow a great deal, but there was nothing she could do about it. Daisy left the party. Meadow caught another whiff of Kieran. "Why is he just around the territory, but not coming to see us." Her wolf whined. "I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want to see us." Meadow's wolf become sad after that. "What do you mean he doesn't want to see us? He is our mate. He loves us. He proved it the day he marked us." Meadow shook her head. "He only marked us because I was in heat." Her wolf whined. "But I can feel it. It's not just because of heat. Meadow he loves us. Give him a chance. Stop putting up this wall like you can live without him. That is your other have. Your soulmate. Either you love him or reject him. And if you think you're going to reject him, I'm going to leave you and let you suffer and die on your own." Meadow went behind a tree and took off her dress. She shifted and let her wolf take over. Her wolf took her dress in her mouth and took off to find Kieran.

Aaron frowned as Daisy ran away. His Wolf was a bit miffed but after he caught scent of Daisy he understood. She was coming into heat. She wanted to be away from the Males. It made sense since her scent would make the unattached males of mating age crazy. They would start competing for her attention. Trying to impress her.

Kieran was walking along the edge of the territory. Taking in the scents and listening. He was acting as a guard in a way. He knew he was not of this Pack but he would still do everything he could to protect this Pack.

Jasper snarled as he scented his mate. She was here, at the party. He had not given his permission for her to leave their territory, yet alone come out to the party. He stormed away and followed Leila's scent. He found her laying in a thick bush. He glared at her.
"Leila." He growled and she rolled over. Exposing her belly to him, he stood his ground. Staring her down, eventually she began to whine. He watched her squirm under his fierce stare.

He moved toward her and whacked her hind quarters firmly. She yelped and backed away.
"Oh stop it." He said as he moved quickly toward her. He rolled her over and slapped her belly. She yelped and shifted back. He slapped her belly again.
"Pink belly!" He yelled and Leila balled up.
"Ouch! Your too rough!" He frowned at her. Girls were so sensitive!
"You shouldn't be here. I didn't say you could come."
"Why can't I come to a party uniting the Packs?"
"We aren't united. We are in the midst of a truce. Once the hunters are dealt with we will review everything with Luna Meadow to see if she still wants us around now that the threat is dealt with.

Leila was quickly pulling clothing on. He enjoyed the show and admired his work. Her neck and chest had quite a few love-bites on them. Once she was dressed she stood up. He picked a leaf from her hair and kissed her forehead.
"Can I stay at the party?"
"Meadow wants to see you, so I guess. You need to listen to me Leila. This is not cute and I will not accept your disobedience." Leila stretched up and kissed his lips lightly.
"I'm sorry...." Jasper wrapped his hand in her hair, tilted her head back and buried his face against her neck. He kissed and bit it. She squirmed against him and he squeezed her to him. She stopped fighting him and his gripped eased up.
"Bully..." She mumbled.
"Brat." He retorted and pressed his lips against hers eagerly. He backed her into the woods so they could have some privacy. Her arms were about his neck as she pulled him closer against her.

Once Daisy was a safe distance away she started to run, as fast as her legs could take her, despite how her wolf was protesting. Fighting to pull her back to the party. After a few seconds her blue eyes looked around, scanning the area for anyone before shifting into her wolf form, and rolling over onto the grass, wiggling around. Now that she was going into heat, every part of her was extremely sensitive, something as simple as rolling around in the wildflowers made her feel good.

Meadow Blackwell

Meadow's wolf ran. She followed Kieran's scent until she got to the end of her territory. She went behind a tree putting her gown back on. She walked out into the open and made her way to her mate. The wind carried his scent to her and hers to his. Her wolf swooned in love, but Meadow trended lightly. Once she was behind him, she simply speak his name. "Kieran." Her heart pounded. She wanted him to accept her to love her. She was suffering without him. Her green eyes stayed fixed on him hoping to catch a glimpse of his own.

Kieran turned. He knew the voice, even if he didn't her scent was there. Slowly he turned to face Meadow. Unsure of what to say to her. His Wolf was pleased to see her, Human Kieran not so much. She made the confusion and turmoil almost too much to bear.
"It isn't safe around here." He said at once. She needed to be in her territory, guarded. It was not safe for any of them to be out and wandering about in the open.
"We got word that there are hunters about....one of the Pack was injured by one."
