Hunting was cathartic to Evan. There was nothing soothing about the taking of a life, of course, even a life which would eventually be taken by man, beast, or time, but a single deer could provide sustenance to many; its hide could be used for shelter or warmth; its bones and antlers sharpened for tools or ground as alchemical ingredients. It made him feel useful to help so many, and though hunting was a lonely profession, he didn't mind it so much. He liked the Silver Kingdom and its denizens well enough, but time and events had conspired to make him feel uncomfortable here. It was time to move on.
Although Evan had traded his wares for other goods more often than not, this time he was determined to sell it for as much as he could. He was ready to go, and he needed the means to travel--living off the land would only take him so far, especially if he wound up in a kingdom where that wasn't an option.
Evan had just walked back through the city gates, a sizable young buck slung across his broad shoulders, when he felt the ground begin to shake. He paused, wary, watching in confusion the trembling of the grand silver spires of the tower. A deafening crash behind him made him whirl, the deer sliding from to the ground. Buildings were collapsing behind him. Instinct made him run. He dodged falling debris with the grace of a predator and the luck of the unworthy, taking the screamed instructions of the voices around him and running to the portals.

Chaos was an understatement. There were so many bodies crushed together and crushed underfoot, the survivors desperate for escape. As much as Evan would have liked the opportunity to choose what would be his new kingdom for himself, there was no time. He threw himself into the first portal available, determined that no matter the outcome, he would make the best of it. After all, he had no other options.

David wasn't responding. Had he gone into shock? She was worried, admittedly, but knew she didn't have time to stop and assess the damages. She could figure out what the damages truly were when she got them out of there, whatever was going on. What was going on? Despite telling herself that she couldn't, and she downright shouldn't, her eyes flicked behind her again, watching a group of people outright fall through the ground as something very bright and wispy began to rise up.
Her breath got caught in her throat.
That was the miasma. The miasma of their kingdom was rising out of where it was kept. Their kingdom was literally leaking away before her eyes. She couldn't stay here. None of them could. If this continued, what would happen to them? What would it mean? Did it matter what it meant, at the moment? She needed to go!
Dragging David like the dead weight he was, she ran towards the gate, refusing to let go of any part of his muddy body nor let what she had stored in the bag to her side drop to the ground. It was impossible to tell where they would end up, and she knew that if she was going to end up in some place that may be offended to their presence--she didn't know why, but who wanted people just barging in uninvited?!--she wanted something to give them a reasonable presence there. And ... maybe she could cry over her cookies later.
Swallowing hard, she shoved David to her side and flew through the portal, refusing to let him go.
If they must end up leaving their kingdom, at least let the two of them end up in the same place.

Running was not her specialty, never is. Arynek was alone, dodging the debris shooting at her while she was running towards her only destination - the portal. The Market was no longer the same, stalls were destroyed, goods were everywhere and she could also see some bloods here and there. Why? Why such a horrible thing happened to their kingdom? She looked back to the tower without realizing that there was a scroll on the floor in front of her. So she stumbled. She picked up the scroll and found it was a portrait. It reminded her of how lovely the Market was just a few hours ago, tears coming out from her eyes.

But it wasn't the time for memories, she had to escape and reunion with her beloved one. Run, keep running! Arynek told herself, encouraging herself to speed up. The ground was no longer flat and even, many up-and-down and sharp points. Some people were swallowed by the cracks created, but she could just hear bawls and screams everywhere. However, she couldn't stop, she can't help any, the only thing she could do was covering her ears and kept running. And then she slipped over a wet slope, it was......red in color.

Red.....is it possible to be b-blood? Arynek didn't want to think about it. She stood up even though her knees were bleeding. Her parents, her friends were waiting for her, she had to meet them. Portal was near but the path became more difficult to go through. Debris was shooting the ground like big bullets, making holes and more holes on the ground. Road was severely damaged, becoming plates that she needed to jump through. In between, miasma was escaping out. Some unlucky citizens were swallowed by this giant misty creature underground, it made more and more traps for people to fall into its mouth. The poor lonely girl jumped through holes over holes, her knees kept reminding her she was bleeding. But she can't bear to stop, she had to move on.
Then, she fell again, this time on a corpse. He got hit by his head, solidified bloods were flooding around the ground he was resting. Arynek screamed, his eyes were widely opened. The girl closed his eyes and cried softly "Rest in peace, sir....."

In a moment of panic Sin tried to find portal. Everyone pushed Sin, it was hard to find portal but, He finally saw a glimmer far in the distance. he run.

All the things went so wrong, there was only a few steps to the portal. Arynek stood just a step from the portal, looking back to their kingdom, which was once prosperous and flourishing, with Market Day as her favourite among a week. Who could imagine it will be all gone one day? Just within a few hours. The rumors might be true......that their king was dead. A kingdom survived upon their king, if a king falls, another king should replace and maintain the kingdom. But. Their kingdom. There was not a new king. Is that the Miasma got out of control because the king wasn't there? Is that the out-of-control Miasma destroy their home? Is that-
Arynek shook her head with tears dropping onto the floor, she couldn't believe any of it, it must be only a nightmare. It must be. How can such a horrible thing happened? No way. However, the pains from the wounds, the bloods and everything were reminding her she wasn't dreaming after all. Sadness. Sorrow. Tear. All were actually happening.
She had made her escape, but how about others? How about Rei? How about her parents? How about her neighbours? How about the cats? She covered her face and sobbed, weeping and blubbering. What should she do now? How can she go on without her beloved one? Would she meet them again?
The whole Silver Kingdom was crumbling, as if it was crying for its inevitable destiny. Where's the Voice that people say would protect them? Why they had to face this terrible truth? Arynek was collapsing, questions without answers kept haunting her mind, she was overwhelmed by feelings. She just stood there, sobbing and witnessed the last moment of their dearest home.
Will I be able to come back one day?
That was what she was thinking when a wild card scolded her and shoved her into the portal. "Hey you! What are you doing?! Go into the portal! That's the only way to escape!"

The tower was collapsing. Mute horror transfixed Uluiru for a moment, before he started making his way toward the portals, although a fair bit of his attention was devoted to not tripping, or falling as he was jostled roughly by others with the same idea.
Finally, in front of him..there was one! He didn't even care where it led...anything was better than here, from what he could tell.

Kaela looks at the kingdom falling before her. Her eyes a bit wide as she tried to run and doge crumbling debris. She tried to run as fast as she could but in her panic to escape she tripped on a of stone,sending her falling onto a pile of rubble. She yelped as she fell, her eyes full of panic as she tried to get back up. She didn't know what was happening all she knew is that she had to run..she had to..escape.

Not to long after she had gotten up, she tripped again. This was very difficult. But all Kaela could think of was escapeing, she had to make it out.. She got up and kept on running.

She was not having good luck at all. The young girl kept stumbling and getting hit by debris, her eyes were full of panic and she couldn't seem to make it through.

She thought she had seen what looked to be a portal, but suddenly she was shoved out of the way by someone in a hurry, causeing her to tumble to the ground once again. she clenched her fists staring down at the ground, trying to keep the tears from flowing. Her small body was starting to get bruised and scarred and she could see what looked to be some blood. She had to get out of here..she had to escape..
