Sensing the strong pulse of wavelength coming his way, Divine would summon a rather large sword and turn quickly. While turning he would raise the sword so that it would black the pulse. Not even moving backwards a bit, Divine moved his sword to left, deflecting the pulse away from him with little ease. As he deflected her pulse, Divine would switch his blade around and counter with a large blast of demonic energy. All of this was done in a matter of seconds, "But I am finished with you." Divine said as he then turned his back on her once more, not even bothering to see if his attack would hit, that is when he heard Vera's voice. "So, be it." he muttered as for the first time in this entire battle, Divine would use more than half of his power. As he did, his slim body would bulk up, his hair would glow and start to rise up as well. The very ground he stood would shake and then start cracking, under the tremendous force of his powers
With his eyes glowing pure white, Divine would look over at Gin as he unleashed his stored up energy transforming himself into three separate being, or guardians. Divine watched as the guardians then scattered separate ways. Looking up at them as they flew away, he would sigh and mutter, "You are indeed a worthy opponent. I will await your return and fight you with all my strength." he said as he then unleashed a powerful shock-wave, composed of pure demonic energy and madness. The force of the wave was so strong that the pavement around him would kick up and disintegrate along with a few of the buildings. It is unknown what would happen if a human would come in contact with the wave, but Divine didn't care.
While every student and there partners were fighting so valiantly against Divine, his demonic army, Vera, Scarlet and Michi, a rather large explosion could be seen coming from far away. Seconds later, another explosion would happen, but this one seemed to be pretty close and yet another few seconds later a third explosion would be seen, but this one was right behind a building leading to where all of the other were fighting. Just as divine unleashed his demonic shock-wave, the person responsible for all of the explosions, would show himself, by appearing in front of Divine, stopping the wave from reaching the others by purifying it. As both the demonic energy and the purifying wave would connect, the resulting explosion would cause so much devastation that the center of the city would have been left in ruins, if not for the fact that there was a barrier placed around the man and Divine.
As the explosion ended and the barrier lifted, two solitary figures would be seen standing amongst the ruin and debris. one was Divine and the other, none other than Soji Takeda, the self-professed pacifist and professor at the DWMA. Both men could be seen staring at the other, neither of them severely injured but both would have a few wounds all over their bodies. Smiling, Soji would look around to see all of his students, either injured or fighting. "You all have made me proud to call you my students. Even though I may not have been around and help guide you, I am still proud by how you all have turned out." Soji said as he continued smiling. "It is the duty of the older generation to guide and protect the young ones, so that one day they may be able to stand on their own and protect themselves." Looking back at Divine, Soji would sigh, "There's a great big world out there, full of danger, excitement, sadness, and joy. It only takes one person with the heart and will to experience those things and more. I, myself have experienced each and everyone of those feelings with my friends and family, and I wish for all of you to feel the same. So I will tell you this: you are all precious students to me and I wish for you to survive long enough so that you may experience what I have." As he spoke his final words, Soji would look down to see Divine's arm protruding through his chest, piercing his heart. Still smiling, Soji would spit up blood and slowly close his eyes.
"You died an honorable death. Old fool." Divine said as he removed his hand from Soji chest and let the man collapse backwards on the ground, soaking in a pool of his own blood. Looking up at Vera, Divine would speak, "Does this satisfy you and your siblings?" he asked as he picked up Soji by the head and started dragging him over to where Vera was. looking around, Divine saw that all of the students were still alive, "Sacrificing yourself for the sake of others? That is something I will never understand about you mortals." he said out loud as he then picked Soji up and carried him on his shoulder. As he did, Divine would snap his fingers, releasing Michi from his control, "I have no further use for you. You have served me well. As a reward I will grant you the title of Nightmare General." Divine said as he appeared next to Vera.

Shira watched the whole thing between Divine and Soji. Her eyes grew wide then when she saw Divine impale him. "No!" she screamed and dropped Texas, running over to where Soji was. She skidded down next to him I-I don't know what to do... she thought as she watched the blood. She recalled what he told her and ended up gripping her head as the image of what Divine did to him replayed through her head. "Damn it..." she managed to choke out as she broke down crying, slamming her hands on the ground then.
Blocking the shots firing at her charging the cannon again about to release another blast of energy until a loud TING came through her ears dropping the weapon before falling onto the ground finally out of that trance twitching her arms hearing Shira cry lifting up her arm as a clone floats in mid air looking around seeing the man lifeless and her friend crying wincing her side in pain still feeling the madness inside her.

Kyo wasn't done he was ready to rampage and so was lilith but he stopped when he heard his boss crying he stopped on a nearby roof and again was cloaked in madness before changing back to his original form. Lilith changed back aswell and looked down with her briother at the man who was laying dead on the ground the two had heard about him but never truly knew him well. Lin sighed as it seemed the fight would be over. She was surprisingly sad to see a male had died, but he was one of the few who had gained any respect from her. She stood up and was about to return to the rest of the group when she was hit from behind by some of the remaining minions. There was an entire mass there and she could not swing at them, so she did the only thing she could. Several columns of lightning lanced through the sky, slamming into groups of the bats and other minions left behind. At the end of the attack, she swayed on her feet and fell to her knees. “Well Ushi...we survived.” She then collapsed on the ground unconscious.

Magnus looked down at Dakota and saw the damage. "Dakota, you should have told me!" He said, worried for her. He looked up to see Divine's incoming attack but before he could react Dakota turned back to her human form and jumped in front of him, blocking the attack. Magnus ran forwards and put both his hands on her shoulders, giving her all the resonance force he could spare.
Once Divine's attack had been stopped, Magnus slumped to a sitting position on the ground, utterly exhausted. He looked up to see Divine piercing some man through the chest. He listened to the man's final words, a look of sorrow coming over his face. He had never met the man, but he had just sacrificed himself for them. He looked at Dakota, the sadness plain on his face.
Too occupied on the pain unable to react as the blade pierced through her body screaming out loud in pain echoing off the walls gripping the ground just then a flash appears through her mind. Memories of her times coming in Death City, meeting Shira, Atticus, Eric, Dara, Texas, Gin, Natasha and everybody else too, having fun, going on missions and everything else too. Her appearance slowly comes back to reality altering back to her old self. "G-Guys... mi perdoni..." those last words echoing through all of her friends ears showing that she's back slowly falling unconscious.

Texas changed back to human form and ran up to the man, standing behind Shira. He didn't know the man but felt himself get teary-eyed all the same, realizing the man had saved them. He looked away, lowering the brim of his hat to cover his eyes. The ruins of Death City were all around him and so were the dead.
Miles looked up to see the man die as Vera melted away. He watched quietly, recognizing the significance of the sacrifice but realizing it was too late to save the man. His ability wore off and he stood, exhausted as he watched the events unfold. "Rest well," he said quietly.
