Point for the 2ND TRY: 17-6=11♪ IT DON'T MEAN A THING ♫ Dance Partner's username: Boozver "I am.. sorry", she finally managed to mumble. Luckily, she was able to smile: since her jaw was safely covered by the kerchief the priestess wouldn't be able to see it. "Would you mind trying one last time?", she asked. Just after asking, Eisheth actually wondered, how could that happen that the priestess literally dragged here here, despite all the awkwardness of the situation, and now it was she who sounded apologizing and asked for one more chance. That was most definitely unfair. Anyway, the new song started, and Eisheth took Heidla's hands preparing her move. This time she will make sure everything is decent. The alchemist actually stepped on Heidla's robe, but the priestess seemed to be preoccupied with her own moves, and probably didn't notice that small mistake... Hopefully.

♫ IF IT AINT GOT THAT SWING! ♪ Dance Partner's username: santime Try #: 3 First, the alchemist broke her haircut. Then she dropped her on the floor. Heidla was a bit curious what would happen now, but strange things could happen: this attempt was pretty good (except Eisheth stepping on her robe, but given in mind their last results it wasn't even worth mentioning). Hm... may be Famine isn't that bad after all. After a lot of hard work to tame them.

Woah! Heidla didn't notice that! Eisheth felt a relief: to be honest she was a bit scared by the priestess, and didn't want to mess up completely. And actually it just sounded good finishing this on a positive note: it was right! "Thank you for the dance", she said politely, and even bowed a bit. And made sure to escape as soon as possible: you know, just in case. Justin Case. Points for 3rd try: 21, Rawkerz!

Merope looked up as Alexander approached him, giving him a nod in greeting before turning his attention back to the dancers. He wasn't prepared to be approached, much less so when the zomboil asked him to dance. Merope stared, looking first from the dance floor to Alexander and back. "D-dance?" He squeaked, "You mean -- as in -- ah..." The undead boil's fins drooped as he tapped his talons nervously. "I... uh... well, you see... I don't... I don't exactly know how to dance," Merope admitted hesitantly, tripping over his own words. "I mean, it's not that I don't want to I just... don't know how." He stared, then laughed. "Man! I am all levels of awkward. I guess if you wouldn't mind putting up with my two left feet then...?"

The other boils awkward nervousness put Alex's fears of a fist to the face to rest. At least the zomboil wasn't being outright rejected! But then again Merope appeared to not be as interested in dancing as Alexander had hoped, and he was beginning to feel a small pang of disappointment, until the boil continued on and a renewed sense of hope flared, and Alex offered him a wide and reassuring grin. "Dancing is easy." He stated, "As long as you get into the groove of the beat, you'll do just fine." He was starting to relax the more he realized that the other boil was just as nervous, or perhaps even more so, then he was. Alex even began to chuckle a bit, running his hand through his hair one more time. "I know the feeling, trust me. And no, I don't mind at all. In fact, if it would make you more comfortable, I can even lead?" Still smiling, trying to put Merope at ease. "I'm Alexander by the way." He held out his hand, not just to shake but to also pull the other boil out to the dance floor. Marushii If you want to fill out the form, my SN is Seussi <33

"Easy?" A look of disbelief was given to Alexander as Merope stared at the dancers, envious of how they moved. And yet... There was something about their movements that made him envious. He swallowed, nervous as he reached out to carefully take his partner's hand. Hands shook and a tug later, Merope was standing with Alexander on the dance floor. "...Ah, what now?" Merope asked helplessly, "I mean. Ah. Why don't you lead? I -- I think I might be able to follow...?" Seussi Ahhh sorry! I got distracted. ;;; My SN is Marushii. Could Alex lead? |D <333

LET'S DANCE! ♪ Lead:Character name: Alexander User name: Seussi Minis name: Seussi Partner: Character name: Merope user name: Marushii minis name: Marushii Alexander pulled the boil gently yet firmly to the dance floor, intent on going through with this now that he started. Once situated in a nice clear area, he turned to face his partner, flashing him a tooth filled smile and a nod. "And now? Now we dance!" He grabbed the other boils hand so that they could begin, nodding to show that yes, he would lead. ♪ IT DON'T MEAN A THING ♫ Dance Partner's username: Marushii The music was quite different then that which Alex was used to dancing along with, but it was still a toe tapping and upbeat tempo which he absolutely loved. It took him a moment of watching some of the others to get an idea of what exactly swing dancing was meant to look like, but once he got the gist of it, he began. He started out with clasping both of the boils hands in his, pulling him in close and then stepping back in time to the music, releasing one of his hands and turning to the side as he committed himself to a few quick feet flicking steps then lifting Meropes arm up and attempting to send him into a quick spin. Hopefully this didn't just end in catastrophe.

Uncomprehending, Merope watched him with his head tilted to one side. It didn't occur to him that the dance had begun until Alexander sent him into a quick spin. Unaware and unable to stop himself, Merope did indeed spin. Unfortunately, it resulted in Alexander being slapped several times first by Merope's fins, then by his tail. "Ack! Sorry, sorry!" ♪ IT DON'T MEAN A THING ♫ Dance Partner's username: Marushii Alex had not considered that extra appendages were going to be an issue when he had spun the other boil, but a face full of fin and a tail that nearly knocked him off of his feet reminded him that this was not the boil he was accustomed to dancing with. Straightening back up, his hand clutching tightly to Merope's for support, Alexander realized that he seriously needed a new game plan, stat. He continued to smile, however, trying to give off the impression that he was not put off in the least by what had just occurred. "No no, that was my fault. Let's uh, just try something else instead." Maybe this time they could actually jump and jive instead of duck and dive. "Here try and follow my foot steps, and do what I do." He began to move again, hesitantly at first as he attempted to get himself back into the swing of the beat, his own feet not seeming to want to cooperate but eventually he managed to get back on track. As his feet moved to the music, he let himself lean back and away from Merope, still holding his hand so as not to fall flat on his behind, nodding at the other boil with a grin to encourage him to try and do the same.

♫ IF IT AINT GOT THAT SWING! ♪ Dance Partner's username: Suessi Try #: 2 Merope kept his fins clamped close to his body out of embarrassment. If his hands were free, he quite possibly would have applied one directly to his face. Alternatively, if he had both hands free he probably would have slunk off and hidden somewhere else. As it was he could only duck his head in embarrassment and offer another, "Sorry!" as Alexander continued. Upon receiving the instruction, Merope slowly nodded. "O-okay! I understand." Of course saying and doing were two completely different kinds of minipets. Merope attempted to move his feet, mimicking what Alexander was doing. It wasn't until he tried leaning back that disaster occurred in the form of Merope leaning back too far with his weight. Depending on how tight Alexander's grip was the finned boil would either land on his tail or he could have accidentally pulled the helpful zomboil down on top of him, entangling them both briefly in his fins and tail.
