Deryk furrowed his brow as H spoke up. He glanced over towards the window for a moment, then went on and followed. Albeit, somewhat nervously.

Just like that, her small conversation with the ghoul was done. Looking up and turning around, she found herself staring with a 'oh s**t' expression for a moment before melting back to her usual. HE was watching? s**t.
Looking back around at Amrita, she pressed the button once more. "Looks like its time for me to leave. Goodbye~" ...She wanted to leave on a light note, just in case she had to meet this ghoul again for later purposes.
Turning around she followed the group out of the room.

Amphi breathed in as she joined the students again and sat down.

...Was anyone here a lab tech? It was starting to become clear that the answer was a sound no.
"...Err, bye. Nice...talking to you?" The ghoul watched as Ceres disappeared, and then turn her attention to those who were just returning to them.
"...Is up to something." Amrita grumbled, finishing Amphi's trailed off sentence. It felt too weird to be treated nicely by the majority of them; even Petra had been somewhat kind to her. Too weird, with too many unanswered questions.
Like, for example...why were they treating them so nicely? And why were words like specimen and experiment used? She knew those words through Malodore...they did not often mean good things.

The next hour passed by surprisingly non-eventful if not extremely quiet. The buzzing of the florescent lights was almost annoying, and the only thing coming from the room in terms of noise were odd electronic sounds of one of the techs holding up their phones playing some sort of intricate game involving colourful blocks, and the other one idly tapping their feet against the chair.
Tap.
Tap.
WHAM.
Both lab techs nearly fell off their chair as the door to the interrogation part of the room slammed open.
"You two - wait on standby outside." That was it, no ifs, buts ands, or any other protests. The two techs didn't say a word as they scurried out of the door, leaving one Hunter, who remained standing as they moved next to the microphone. The light was more than enough to outline their features, a relatively clinical-looking Hunter in a white and gold coat, two scythes crossed on the back visible only from the sides.
For a moment noone said a thing.
Of course, they had no problems hearing themselves talk. "After what I'm sure was a very long and eventful day, this would the part where we negotiate your terms of release." OOC - This is just a "ask and answer" sort of dialogue period for all prisoners. We all know their trust gauge is going to be 0 so don't even bother posting it okay

Amphi instantly heard the voice and cringed back in the room...as far as possible on the wall.
Nope.

It didn't take long for Amrita to recognize the Hunter whose ugly face was ruining the screen. Every good feeling fled, all thanks to one person. Her back was already against the wall, but she found herself scrambling to stand, her hands balling into fists at her sides.
She didn't say anything, but the look she gave at the screen was nothing short of pure hate.

Zar sat and wrote on his post-it feathers for a while, making a diary-like log of the day's events, waxing lyrical on his approval of finding Rin again and discovering more about the hunters and their facility than he had previously thought possible. They were very forthcoming with information too, and hospitable.
These things should have relaxed him the way it seemed to do with his peers, but it did not. He was used to cold cruel business, gain for gain, nothing for free.
So when one of the hunters came in and seemed to be intent on actually discussing things officially, he raised a brow.
"I'm certainly listening. The terms are entirely in your court of course, given the compromised situation we are in."

At the sound of the hunters voice, Mei folded her arms, getting the strange feeling that the days events were only going to get more eventful from here out. Why couldn't this day just bloody end. She had enough of these white coats to last her a life time. However long that may be.
((Stats: lol no its gone now))

"Good evening Mister Caelius." The siren was smiling, smiling at the hunter.
No one ever counted on Israfel's survival instincts after all.
Hair being brushed by his fingers he felt a little bad for the hunter, as he looked a bit drained. He probably didn't want to deal with the other hunters or them but had to. "I'd like to, at best, have both parties content. Though I know that's not quite possible at times."

The Death lead's expression fell flat of any signs of possible concern or even interest.
"Why do you think you are still here?" He didn't wait for an answer, not from those half-curious, not for those who hid: there was no running away after all. "To show that we are civil. To show that we are still human. That when you pose no threat to us, we do not go out of our way to antagonize when unprovoked. Amongst the six of you, I see familiar faces. Amityville, the school who Red attempted to rally in her own little personal war. Amityville, the school who used Defenders as an excuse for intruding and causing further harm, and willingly harboured and sheltered fugitives from the Four Clans, the horsemen who at the same time tortured and killed hundreds, thousands of innocent human lives, the very lives you incidentally feed off of. Actions contain very specific consequences. Now, I am very well aware that Amityville is also the name of the school that tortured and killed one of my assistants, of which the labs spend days piecing back together bits and pieces of his body to reconfirm. Hunters, humans, daily, die without receiving the option of being civil. You can be naive, proclaim that we are doing the same thing, but that just makes you ignorant."
A pause. "As some of you seem relatively interested either in your own freedom or a mutual benefit, I will explain to you exactly how this works. You may ask me at any point in time for other options, and you will be given of further choices. Or, if you wish to stay, you will be held in containment for exactly six days, one day for each prisoner. You will answer questions clearly and concisely to earn your freedom. The trainees here seem to be eager to disclose information about how a system works, justify exactly what we represent and who we are, but keep in mind who is holding the keys at the very end."
"Now, I only have one question for you today. How many of you received a so-called gift from Medea?"
And suddenly perhaps, it was a little more personal, a light-bulb perhaps going off as to why they were still contained here.

Amphi frowned, especially since the hunter brought up MANY good points in there argument. And she would claim ignorance, after all, she had never really harmed a human more then a couple of misplaced aimed rocks.
But if she wanted to return to Roch, it would be better to answer the questions truthfully wouldn't it? Or was the things Medea showed them so important that they might cause more harm to amityville students rather then save them.
She bit her lip, torn as to what to say. It seemed to her that the horsemen and hunters were the one's that needed to talk rather then these students.
"What kind of gift...are you talking about?" You'd have to be specific Caelius. Was it the gift of the knowledge of what happened 20 years ago? The gift of being able to look into Underground Amityville...or a more physical gift? Like a object. Amphi didn't have anything from the Horsewoman besides the Trance...

Zar listened intently to what this hunter had to say, curious about their reasons and somewhat satisfied with the answer. Few seemed to get the chance to hear this particular hunter out, and he made every effort to commit the details to memory. He was singing to the choir insofar as his disdain for the personal war, the defender's intrusions, the refugees, all of it.
"I completely agree with you insofar as Amityville's guilt, ever since I've arrived at the school, I've looked on as hunters were for want of a better word demonised and then turned into an instrument of subjugation and fear ." He knew that his assertion of agreement had to matter nothing at all to the man outside the cell, but he felt at very least he had to say something, for so long he'd been preaching to an unappreciative audience, it felt somehow steadying to hear that all he'd been expounding was the other side's point of view. The news that they had murdered one of the assistants only drove the cold spear of anger further into his heart. It was a horrible thing to think that your own kind had all along been the enemy.
He tilted his head slightly. "I would be interested in negotiation of these other options. And whatever they entail, though I likewise am willing to stay captive as long as needed and aid enquires insomuch as I can." He curled his tail lazily. This was more interesting than sitting at a desk all day anyway.
At the question of a gift, he inclined a brow, almost looking disappointed. "I can't count myself among those with gifts, the only new possessions I have gained of late were a few gold coins I found in the locker of my trance-mate."
