Matthew chuckled. "I really don't know. Listen you can go back and hide if you want to Jason, if I get eaten I don't want this to be your responsability. Then again if the monsters here are so in love with music then that just shows you they've still got a Human heart! We've got to help them..or at least help find a cure!" he said taking a small break from playing.
Oddly enough many of the monsters wandered off after he was done, a few of them dancing with each other into the woods. Sitting on the edge of the fountain he now turned his attention to Lana. "You have a beautiful voice Miss. It was so nice to see someone who appreciates music." he said to her gently taking one of her hands and kissing it gently. "Matthew is my name, I'm a traveling bard..it looks like you're suffering under the effects of the meteors too. Are you feeling alright?" he asked his voice turning to gentle concern. Her eyes were very preatty Matt almost got lost in them for a second.

Lana opened her eyes and blinked. A second transparent lid could be seen retracting for just an instant. She blushed at his compliment and smiled. "Lana. It was a pleasure listening to you play Matthew. That was the most fun I've had in..." she trailed off. When was the last time she enjoyed herself like this? Too long probably. She blinked though realizing exactly what she was doing. She wondered if the others were okay with her leaving like that. She shook her head and answered his question. "I'm as alright as to be expected when your whole body is changing in odd ways." she remarked dryly. She placed her hands on her belly thoughtful. She felt a kick and blushed, pleasantly surprised. Maybe this wasn't so bad. "I'm... afraid I'm getting used to this." It was nice sitting here with him. The fountain water, though icy, felt heavenly against her glistening skin. She turned her eyes to the man that had spoken before. "Most of these people were normal once. It would be nice if you gave them the benefit of the doubt." she said gently, surprised at her own boldness. "I doubt many want to eat you." she giggled.

The fountain water seemed to add to her beauty some. Gently touching her belly Matthew blushed. "Well you look radiant. You have nothing to worry I'm not going to hurt you..right Jason?" he asked giving the Archer a serious look. "Anyway Lana was it? Well I'm surprised you're taking this well. Sadly this morning I was being chased by a few of the townsfolk. I really didn't know what happened until Jason, that man over there, kindly explained the situation."
Removing his hand the bard began to strum his guitar lightly. "The eyes of the sea have been kind to me. She sings her songs of brilliance and awe, filling the world with refreshing happiness. Her voice is like cooling rain on the desert of the soul. Oh is this real beauty before me? This woman of the sea sitting so enchantedly? May the crystal streams always be with her, no matter where the oceans guide her fins..." he rhymed blushing slightly. "It's been a while, oh you are like a muse Lana! I thank you! I dedicate that poem to you." he said smiling warmly.

Lana blushed furiously and looked away. A Muse, huh? She smiled slightly. She had to admit she liked this Bard. He was quiet charming. How had he match the song so well? She looked down and saw her sleeves were still rolled back, revealing the fins on her arms. Lana quietly rolling them back down. It had been awhile since she looked in the mirror. What did she look like know? She fiddle with her brightly colored hair. She looked up, seeing the sky was slowly darkening. "I need to get back. I don't want to be out at night." she said, nervously. Very reluctantly, she pulled her feet from the fountain and stood. She shuddered for a second, feeling odd.

"Do you need an escourt?" he asked showing some concern. "Actually that sounds like a good idea. Probably it's very dangerous at night." He said standing up and shouldered his guitar. Taking her hand, one of them holding onto her belly he looked at her.
"You alright, you're acting a little woozy?" he asked his eyes filled with concern. Her skin felt kind of wet and slightly scaley. Not to mention her skin was starting to look a different color. Matthew could feel several kicks as he gently rubbed a hand up and down her belly. "Oh I'm sorry..I'm just helping steady you.." he said his face in a deep blush.

Lana flushed taking the hand that was placed on her belly. "That's a little bit too..." she hesitated... not knowing exactly what to say without hurting his feelings too much. "I don't really know you...." she shrugged. That felt a littie too intimate for her. "Come on. Your free to come to." she said to the other man. "Just.... brace yourself." lana flinched as she remember who all she was staying with.

Jason said nothing and walked with them. "Man, this not going to turn out good." He thought as he complained to himself about the predicament he was watching between Lana and Matthew. Putting his hand on her belly, Matthew that is, could be interpreted as a sign of unrequited love.

"Oh my! I'm terribly sorry I was just trying to help you keep your balance some!" he said looking away. "Forgive my rudeness. Will you be alright from now on?" he asked letting her walk. Sheesh where else was I suppoed to touch? I mean her belly is kind of big. I was just helping her keep her balance so she wouldn't fall, oh well no skin off of my nose. At least we were able to meet a woman that hadn't been terribly effected yet. I wonder where she's taking us? I preatty much made myself look like an idiot today...I kind of just want to lie down. he thought as he followed Lana quietly.

"It's alright." she said embarressed. "I'm alright. I just don't feel quiet right is all...." Despite saying this, she walked at a steady pace and didn't waver. She reached back to scratch her back and then to scratch her forarms. They were now a street away from Jessie's place. "Please don't... freak out..." she mutter quietly. More like a prayer than actually talking to them.

"Lana..is it just me or is your skin become more scale like? You look very itchy. I could give you a hand if you wanted." he said walking beside her. "Other than playing songs I know a little magic too. You seemed content when you were sitting in the water next to me..maybe you're become some sort of fish maiden?" he asked showing concern.
"Please don't freak out, or take what I just said the wrong way, but you look like you're transforming into something elligantly beautiful." Matthew said trying to make up for touching her belly.

Lana blushed, but turned her head so she won't see. "Let's hope your right." she remarked. He was right about her skin though. The more she scratched the more skin peeled off, revealing skin that was finely scale and glistened a darker green then before. They felt so dry. All she wanted was too take a nice long bath or a swim or something. Maybe even rub down with lotion. The itching was growing intense on her back and sides. Lana looked at Matt willing to take his offer. "If you could scratch my back, I would be grateful forever!" she blurted.

Mattew nodded and began to scratch her back. "I was just saying that I could make you a pool of water to sit in for a while. Whatever you're transforming into it's probably aquadic. Your skin is so..dry.." he said with concern. "Hold on a second..."
Stopping he pulled out his guitar and began to play a gentle melody that sounded like waves crashing gently on the ocean. A magic circle began to glow under her as a bubble began to encircle Lana. Slowly filling with water it eventually engulfed her whole body before the bubble popped. She would have felt a bit refreshed and still felt like she had water on her. Interesting thing was her clothes were still dry.
When he finished he put away his guitar and scratched her back again. "Hopefully that will help. It's called Serenade of the Sea. A siren taught to me a few years back after I rescued her from a corrupt sailor. It's water element based so you should feel damp and refreshed. I don't know if that helps but...if you need me to play it for you again don't hesiate." he said with a smile.

Lana arched her back against his hands hoping he'd scratched harder. She protested when he stopped. These were quickly cut short as water began to rise around her ankles. She panicked a little at first, but it was an old reaction and it faded quickly as relief replaced it. She sigh, letting the water flow over her head. She sighed in relief. Then it was gone. Lana watched sadly as it faded away, but Matthew was right. She did feel alot better, with only a slight tingle left around her back and side. She didn't notice, but two vague shapes could be made out through back of her shirt, pretuding slight from her back.

Matthew gently touched one of them. "I think..those are more fins." he blushed looking at Lana. "So these rocks do this kind of thing to people?" he gasped. "That's..so wrong. You're being forced to change into something you don't want to be. Are you fine with it?" He asked massaginer her back a little.
They both looked funny sitting on the ground with her kind of in his lap. The bard blushed a little finally noticing that.

Lana stared at him quietly for a moment, her face serious. Finally she smiled wryly. "I don't think these rocks care what they cause. Life's unfair anyway. You deal and move on." she stated. She raised an eyebrow at his blush. Did she say something odd. Then she also realized what had he did. She was almost sitting in his lap. How had this happened? She was sure she was standing a second ago. Sighing, Lana stood up. "Sorry, I don't know how that happened." she said. She quickly turned and walked away to distract from her embarrasment. "Come on. It's the house over here." she called. Walking up to the door, she tapped on the door lightly a peeked in. "Ur... Jessie? I brought somemore guest.... I hope you don't mind." she said, apologeticly.
