Jerry had turned back to his clip board, letting people mingle for a while before suddenly, he spotted blood.
"What... what on Earth happened!" He swung the guitar to his back, snatching up the paper towels from the snacks table before closing in on Jude, his wounds, and the casual lounging Marcus. His face was wrought with worry as he ripped a few free to lift the cut up hand in question. Jude wasn't... wasn't in THAT bad a place was he? Oh god, oh god, oh god, but no, "Don't worry, you're in a good place here, okay? We can fix you up!"

Rep looked completely nonplussed at Harrison. He did not just say that.
"There is no ******** way." he stated.
<< I swear to Jack I will replay the really embarrassing stuff William, not that bad. Just a song. Take it from my cue. >>
He didn't even care anymore. He was making this s**t up. Just get it out of the way. So to the tune of Rio by Duran Duran, he completely made up a verse.
Her name is Candace and she thinks she is a man. Just like the other women in this shitty band And when she kicks your nuts she gives it all she can Oh candace candace go ******** off cause you can.

Jude wasn't sure what to make of it when Jerry suddenly zoomed in on him and suddenly began to fuss at him and the wounds on his hands and all he could think to say was, "Sorry...I broke your tambourine, Boomer. I'll...get you a new one," his voice was sincere but distracted. He wasn't that bothered that Marcus didn't just whisk him off to make sure he got cleaned up but then maybe, just maybe Jude just lacked the capacity to care that he'd hurt himself.
"The cuts aren't that bad. It's okay," he explained once again acknowledging he'd been hurt, "my fault."
It was sort of like having an uncle fuss at him and he wasn't sure why.

Aleister chuckled, "Sure," He nodded, "I'll be happy to teach you."
He seemed to think, "Say do you ever actually train on the field?" He asked curiously looking around. The field was currently a stage but when it wasn't it was probably useful to train on.

"Tambourines can be replaced, and unless there's some runic technology I'm unaware of, hands can not," Jerry huffed, applying pressure before positioning Jude's hands to put pressure on themselves. He met his gaze, pushing his glasses up his nose sternly, "Jude, I think it's vitally important you stay right here and enjoy the party, you got that?" He knew what it was like to be full of sorrow and anguish and want to just retreat into your metaphorical cage... but he also knew what happened the last time Jude had gone to Killzone for any sort of help. Somehow, it felt keeping him away from the Dark Path was the most important thing of all.

Jude blinked a bit as he tried to joke, "That's what prosthetics are for, I am sure they'd let me take leave to get some," he said in response to Jerry. Sure it'd be an awful claw-like appendage with no sensation and at most only two digits but hey it was still a replacement. Jude just didn't want Jerry to think he was that badly off just yet.
"I had no real plans of leaving," Jude said in reply, "I planned to stay til' the end at least," he added so that Jerry couldn't call shenanigans on him just then. He let Jerry attend to the shallow cuts for now since it'd at least make Jerry feel better.
"See? No big. I'm not bleeding to death," he assured with a half-hearted smile.

"I need to," Syd admitted. "I need to train far more than I actually do. I'm a Mist--um, that's pretty obvious, of course. I've been doing research, trying to learn all the jobs, but I'm still a bit overwhelmed. And I haven't met nearly as many people outside of death defying missions as I should." She sighed, looking a bit disappointed in herself. "Except for the girls night, which was... um... interesting." And she'd spent most of it drunk and making a fool of herself. "Can I ask you a question?" she asked abruptly. "What type of weapon is your partner? It's become one of my favorite things to learn. They're all so different and fascinating."

"Thank you, Tracey," Harrison said politely. He looked at Candace, who gave a pretty blunt appraisal. "I don't think that one worked so good, though."

"Worked? What were you trying to accomplish, Harrison?" Candace eyed him suspiciously.

"Tough s**t." He stated to both of them, crossing his arms. "You aren't getting another one."

Candace pouted at Rep, looking about as angry as a kitten. "At least Jerry's songs for me were clever and cute. That song was just rude."
Now back to Harrison.

Harrison had a hard time keeping a straight face. Clever and cute. He didn't think Rep would sing in the first place. It was a shame Candace was focusing on the lyrics. "Me?" He asked innocently. "Fun, remember. ...Tell Tracey I appreciate the effort any how."

Rep nodded irritably, raising a brow at Candace. "Jerry's songs for you might as well have been Let me into your pants, repeated for five verses. Probably would have had the same effect."
No he wasn't a little hurt she hadn't appreciated his song.

It seemed that Jerry and Candace were, at least, on civil terms again, and her appearance hadn't brought Jerry's gleeful mood down; that was a relief. Jordan relaxed a little. Not that it was really his business, but seeing his friends so miserable had been distinctly painful.
When Candace wandered over in their direction and commented on the glasses, he stayed silent, but couldn't help blushing again. Nope. Not getting into the subject. Dammit, Harrison.
Once again, Rep surprised him, this time with a snippy little rhyme, apparently made up on the spot. "Iambic pentameter and reasonable rhyme scheme? Pretty impressive for a spontaneous improvisation," he said, pointedly not commenting on the verse's content.
