 Jerry gave a wild yell as the blades chopped into him, but thankfully the few shots he had had while still in the pod did indeed help cushion most of the pain. PUSH FORWARD! This body was POWERFUL this body was STRONG this body could CRUSH ALL OF THE THINGS and he was filled with intent as he barreled forward after Rin with a fresh roar, knuckling through the snow as though he was born to do so- which the golem, technically, had been. Black, beady eyes were locked on the facility brimming with trainees. Eyes on the prize. Just go. He didn't want to hurt Jordan, and had wasted enough energy on that stupid ginger. It didn't take long before suddenly the wards against the weather heaved and massive fists suddenly swung against the outer wall of the facility, widening one of the holes. The Yeti had arrived. HP: 74

The yeti went thundering right past Jordan and Rep, and Jordan growled with frustration as the thing's leg lifted just as he swung Ferros though the space where it had been. Apparently it was more interested in the complex than in the two humans confronting it.
Well, they'd just have to hope that Rin had gotten back and warned the others, and chase it down as best as they could.

Rep snarled with frustration as their combined efforts didn't seem enough to distract the lumbering beast from going after Rin to the facility. "GET BACK HERE YOU ******** HAIRY BOLLOCK" he yelled into the wind as he charged after the damn thing trying to keep up. But running in the snow was even harder than /walking/ in the snow, and he kept stumbling in drifts, dragging Tracey along with him. Still he was carried on wings of pure determination, adrenaline carrying him when exhaustion threatened to creep up.
Still, when he arrived at the gathered hunters, he had to stop and catch his breath before attempting to attack the beast.

Twice as big? Oh dear. She'd have to-- ...Oh. Okay. Looks like the yeti was going to just invite itself inside. That worked too. It's all good. "You know, if he wasn't obviously here for a fight I'd say he was adorable. Molly, Mercedes, Feng. Forget cleanup for now, we're going to help the Suns eliminate the yeti. Ready, Cass?" Or at least hold it off. It would be interesting fighting with all the debris and furniture pushed around, she'd never used Atropos with so many obstacles before. We'll be fine. Atropos snorted confidently. Candace grinned. Of courseSummoning Atropos, Candace ran and jumped, landing with one foot on a chair and one hand on the back of it. Candace pushed off and flipped herself over it, turning herself to the side to slice at the yeti with both feet. She landed, stumbling a little as she skid back and away until she hit a piece of debris and was forced to stop only a few feet away from the yeti. s**t.HP: 50/50

That was indeed a Yeti!
Cass didn't even hesitate as the chain around her waist broke apart to reform half into a gun and half into a blade she held in her other hand, a half grin on her face. "Yep! Definitely ready to go. Don't forget to watch the other squads too in case it goes for one of them. Part sun, part moon, all mist." she reminded.
Are you going to do this at some point today?

Still, Cass's attack was nowhere near as nice as Cass's display, making no point of a show, and instead just moving to pull the trigger of her pistol, the bullet flying past the Yeti's head but not hidding. Damn. Her aim was off...

And then suddenly there was a yeti inside. Gale gave a small sigh, glancing over at Sydney.
"Time to take a break from the computers, methinks," he said, and held out his left hand. The silver, rune-encrusted ring on his index finger glowed brightly and in a flash of white light it had disappeared, dissolving into nothingness.
All right, Jinhai, let's not miss today.

Smirking, Gale swung the rifle around, took aim, and fired.

Rin was pretty much spun around and away from Candace to avoid being slammed by flying debris. This time knee jerk lashing out with Byr at the abrupt and very unexpected intrusions source. Barely nicking the yeti, but still... something! She was still very proud of her self as she readied herself for more.
Staring down the creature - whether or not it was looking at her anymore though was subject to interpretation.

((HI there, incoming proxy post for Huni)) Teal eyes widened at the roar that was heard it was his belief that the Sunnys would handle it that explained why he didn't immediately summon his weapon or suggest it to Sasha. But when the Yeti had come to their base, the bottle-cap pin had enlarged into his wheel without him realizing he'd called for his partner.
"Sasha, you're a Lifer, remember that! After you attack the Yeti, make sure to keep whatever equipment in the vicinity safe." he yellwed. But hey, if Sashe decided to listen to someone else, it probably meant Before needed to work on his authority.
The acting-Lifer lunged for the Yeti, swinging his wheel and whether it was a hit or miss, Before quickly positioned himself to protect what remaining equipment he could.

Sasha was paralyzed. It wasn't fear that kept her stuck right where she was. It was awe, almost, at the sight of the big pale furry monster-thing that everyone was attacking. Jaw dropped, mouth wide open, Sasha just stood there blinking like a fool. < Come, then. Do not listen to the one who tells you to guard the things. Use me, Sasha. Use me, my dove.> Look at it!< I would rather taste its blood against my claws, my little bird. Go!> Oh, gosh!Sasha fumbled with her barrette, Nona in her de-summoned form. The clasp gave a delicate clatter as it fell to the floor. < Shameful.> Oh my God, Nona, I am so sorry!Sasha, now distressed, turned her attention back to Before. "I am so sorry, sir!" There was that bit of panic as Candace announced they’d be engaging the yeti in battle. Battling…attacking…monsters. With as easy going and good natured Molly usually was, one would expect her to hesitate at this but…but she remembered why she was at Deus. Because monsters took something away from her.
With Vaska encouraging her and eager to battle, Molly didn’t hesitate as she pulled away from her fellow Hunters and summoned her lance, making sure to now hit anyone or anything. The size of the creature was daunting...but a duty was a duty, and she was determined. Molly frowned as she thrust her lance at the creature, feeling immensely statisfied as she landed a solid hit.

"Yes sir--Gale, sir," Sydney said, bringing up her crossbow (Izy) and aiming it at the gigantic fuzzy monster thing. But seriously, this was her first time seeing a monster, she thought, her heart pounding in her chest. At least, this clearly. It needed to die, yes. It definitely needed to die. And the sooner the better, it smelled bad! Izy snarled almost joyfully. The arrow struck true. She almost had time to be proud of herself!

The Yeti howled, it's guttural cry somewhere between an enraged gorilla and a horse with a broken leg as it flinched back from flying blades and arrows and blunt objects.... Ok, Jerry thought to himself through the torrent of distant pain, maybe this wasn't as well thought out a plan as he had first considered. But... but he was supposed to rough them up and... nrrg Yetis didn't think, stop over thinking, just do it, just- A flash of purple and cinnamon skin.... her. His grip on the make-shift doorway tightened as he flinched back from Candace's kicks, ignoring the arrows now sticking from his shoulder like horrible quills, or the gaping, snow-bleeding wounds the other trainees had inflicted. Aria had said, he had a lot of pent up emotions he should really use to his advantage. Well, with a belly full of bourbon and the weight of the Yeti's muscle... he was game. Lips curled back into a cry even more pained than the one the weapons had ripped out of him, and suddenly more debris was sent flying across the recently cleared floor as the monster barreled forward, grabbing the Mist trainee by the leg. It was as though he was watching a dream as he saw her fly through the air, smashing her against the wall like a toddler who was frustrated with her barbiedoll. She hurt him she hurt him she acted like she loved him but he was nothing to her why should he think anything more of her she deserved to hurt too. Everything else was forgotten as he pounced forward to where she fell, ready to give her a fresh go.... HP: 40 Target: Candace Damage: 7 STATUS EFFECT - UNEVEN FOOTING If your weapon requires you to be close to your target to attack, subtract -8 from your roll to account for the amount of debris in the way. If you have a long-ranged weapon (such as Bix's bow or Gale's gun) and do not need to move, your hunter is not affected. If you are unsure, consider this: is your hunter moving anywhere? Yes? Then -8 from the status effect. If you're standing right behind the golem and attacking it, then yes, still roll -8 as the act of attacking can throw you off balance at any moment.

Candace didn't have time to get away before the yeti grabbed her by the leg. Her heart felt like it stopped at the sight of a huge fist clamping down around her leg. No, no! No! No! Not her leg! Anywhere but her leg no not her leg! It seemed Aria's lesson had instilled the fear of god of losing the ability to use her legs into her. Candace tried not to cry as she was thrown through the air and hit the wall hard, though she did lose her breath and gasp for air as she slid to the floor in a heap. "Ho-holy s**t.." She coughed, wheezing for breath as she pushed herself up to stand again.
Heads up! It's still coming for you! Atropos barked, getting Candace's attention as she coughed and turned a glare toward the yeti. What the hell? Why was it chasing her?
She waited until he was close enough before she threw herself backwards onto her hands, kicking her legs up to strike at the yeti with both feet again. Her hand landed on a rock and she hissed, falling flat on her back as she stumbled trying to get off the rock quickly. Ow! ********! Oh no...nonono! Candace rolled, scrambling to keep away from the yeti.

Rep somewhere in the midst of the chaos edged back into the room, ducking through the debris scattered everywhere, watching the yeti rampage with a mixture of awe and dread, cringing as it picked Candace up and slung her around in what had to be a painful fashion. She almost../almost/ didn't deserve it he thought to himself. Almost. She /had/ kicked him in the nads, he couldn't feel /too/ much sympathy for her.
He figured for the time being the fight could rage without him as he leant against a wall and tried to rub some life back into his cold hands, he couldn't fight effectively if he couldn't even hold the damn axe.

There were so many people, Sydney thought, and Izy wasn't helping her, he was going insane in her head. It felt like he was trying to escape her mind, but she couldn't pay much attention to that, she was trying to aim.
Of course, she failed, because Izy started repeating the word "FEAR" over and over again. Izy, Izy--darling--darkling, whatever you want to be called, PLEASE calm down! she demanded mentally, covering her ears with her hands even though it didn't help.
He went silent before making a sound like an intake of breath.
