Joi cringed and plugged her ears as well. "I wouldn't know, I've not been around them that much." She shook her head and headed over towards them. Reaching in to lift Lucius out of the crib, she tried to comfort him, but he was really piercing her ears and her face showed that. "Take him!" She handed him off to Jay and then reached in to pick Lucia up. She put the little girl on her shoulder and started bouncing a little. "I don't know how to handle babies."
Lucia was screaming as loud as her brother. She was also as hungry as him, but his screams are what made her scream even more.

Jay cringed but took Lucius, having no idea what to do with the baby, he handled him just like Joi was and he said. "Do you have any idea what they want?" He tried not to shout, but it was hard over the loud cries of the babies. He'd never handled an infant before and he was near panic.
Guardians, no wonder she doesn't want babies in her!
Lucius calmed a little, but still wailed as he was picked up, he was hungry, but he was a very attention heavy baby, he liked being cuddled and held... But now he was wailing in Jay's ear, just not as loud as his sister.

Joi didn't know what they wanted, and she was silently cussing her parents out for not telling her how to handle the babies. But then it hit her like a ton of bricks. Food then bed! "Maybe they're hungry!"
Carrying the screaming female infant into the kitchen, Joi strapped her into the highchair which actually seemed to quite the baby a bit.
Lucia knew the ritual. Chair=food. Food she wanted.
Joi pulled some baby food from the cupboard, one for each baby and got 2 spoons and sat down in front of Lucia to see if she'd eat.

Jay followed after Joy quickly strapping the baby boy into his chair and watching in awe as the squaling infant shut up. He let out a sigh of relief and looked to Joi. "So uh... what do they eat?" He asked, as he secured the try on the chair.
Lucius cooed once he was in his chair. YESH! FOOD!

Joi pushed a little jar of baby food and a spoon across the table to Jay. "He likes this nasty stuff." she made a face looking at Lucia as she put another spoonful in her mouth. She was merely just mimicking what she's seen her mother do when she feeds them. "Mom said after they eat, they get put to bed." She glanced over to Jay and smiled. This was a slightly weird situation for her ... her and Jay taking care of the babies, getting them to actually shut up.

Jay made a face himself and scooped some up in a spoon feeding it to Lucius, who ate it without too much fuss. "That's blech..." Jay chuckled as he went about feeding the infant. "That's cool though..." He chuckled and smiled at Joi, looking over at her and blinking.
Okay seriously... Were they doing what he thought they were doing?

Joi giggled softly, her expression turning slightly dreamy as she fed Lucia. She'd glance over occassionaly at Jay and watching him with her baby brother was sparking some rather interesting thoughts for her. Someday, this coudl be us with our babies.
Wait, no! NO BABIES!

Jay too was thinking about babies, but... not in the same way Joi was.
Okay, so we put these little buggers to bed... then what? Well I could always hang out with Joi and talk... or kiss... or...
NO! BAAD Jay... >.> No putting babies in Joi...
He chuckled and shook his head, often glanceing at Joi before or after she glanced at him and swooning, never timing it right to have them both be taking a glance at each other.

Once more food spilled out of Lucia's mouth than was goin in, Joi figured she was full. Getting a towel to clean up the mess, she wiped the baby's face then tossed the towel to Jay. "I'll take her upstairs and lay her down, you can bring Lucius when he's done." she smiled warmly at him then unlatched her sister, lifted her up and put her close to her chest, rubbing the infants back alittle. "Good girl." she whispered and kissed Lucia's head before givnig Jay a wink and heading out of the kitchen.

Jay smiled at her and chuckled, and once Lucius too started pawing at the spoon instead of eating, Jay cleaned him up and got him out of the chair, carrying the infant after Joi with a smile, patting the infant's back a bit, elliciting a few burps.
"Whoa, way to go little dude, that was a biggun..." Jay laughed a little and walked up the stairs, sticking his head into Joi's parent's room.

Joi hadn't noticed Jay come in right away and was tucking her sister in to the bassinett, singing very softly the same tune her mother used to sing to her when she was tucked into bed. Maybe it wasn't so terrible her parents got randy and had to leave. She got to spend time with her sister and brother at least.

Jay chuckled and slowly entered the room being very quiet and tucking the little boy into the bassinett next to his sister. He looked up at Joi and sang along with her, but a few octives lower, trying to be soothing...
Lucius was out like a light not five minutes into the singing of the duo...

Once Lucia nodded off as well. Joi trailed off the song and nudged Jay out of the room so the babies wouldn't wake up. She didn't want them screaming again.
"Jay, she whispered, on teh way out of the room, "You'll make a good daddy someday."

Jay chuckled and looked at Joi. "Yeah? Well..." He smirked and kept his voice low to not wake the babies. "You'll make a good mommy someday..." Before she could respond or freak out he added. "So, what do we do now? I assume something quiet and away from the children so we don't wake them..."

Joi had to leave the bedroom door open so she could listen for the babies. "I think I should stay up here, at least in my room as long as the door stays open. I have be to able to hear the twins." she explained, whispering as she crossed the hall to her own room. She turned and smiled at him, "Got any ideas?"
