"NO!" he yelled as Lili flew away. "Damn it. Their going to roast if she brings them here. I guess it's time to board this place up and see what I can do." he said, looking around the area for materials. He considered turning the whole mountain into one big furnace, and purging the plague with fire. He sat down yet again, and waited patiently.

Howls echo over the area as the march of heavy feet start to shake the earth. The true attack has come to Jiaum. The plague troops people already would know of from Triwinds are dispersed with more nasty looking troops at their heads. Screams from the citizenry mask over the reverberations of the howls troops start to cut down all who live without the poison in their veins. Some people try burning the oncoming assaults but to no avail. Smoke rose through the opening in the top of the mountain Jiaum hides in, looking to any in all the continent as though the extinct volcano has breathed new life.

Tombz shook his head as a bit of smoke began to come through the top of the door. "I guess their not going to come to me. Guess, I'm going to have to go get them.." he said, standing up. He approached the door before stopping. He said a small prayer, and let his Steel Form pop. He smashed the door off its hinges before charging out into the open

Troops burst into the palace area, slaughtering all who stood in their way. It seemed the place was void of anyone to counter them. Turning to the entrance, they bugled a howl to the top of the mountain as a signal. Glacia and Sephra arrived shortly after the signal was given that they had the palace. Glacia bounced into the throne as Sephra inspected the area. "Seems like our Lord overestimated this place," Glacia sneered. Sephra shook her head. "There has been resistance out there. Don't write them off so quickly." Coming back over to the other general, Sephra sighed. "We should have heard from Ivy by now. I'm off to see what's happened. You hold the area." Turning to leave, she looked back to glare at her comrade. "And don't kill everyone you see. Our Lord wants some uninfected slaves in this area." Sephra took to the skies as Glacia pouted n the throne. Ordering the troops to guards against anyone who might come to overtake the palace again, she helped herself to what was in the kitchen. -Sephra exits-

Sephra returned with a irritated look on her face. Glacia looked at her from the plate of food she had. "What happened?" she asked between bites. "It seems Ivy was defeated in Triwinds, Devil's Eye. So we're down a General. Other than that, we've taken all but the small village in the city here. It seems the Kishu King is fighting our troops there." Glacia smiled and pushed away from the table. "Oh really? Then you can be sure he's looking for me," she said with an evil grin. "I think I'll stop by and see how he's doing..." Glacia slung her poison sprayer onto her back and took off through the door. Sephra sat down in the ruler's throne to decide on the next course of action for this area. -Glacia Exits-

Aqua "Grave" Graveheart Human / Revolution / Cloak / Mind-Blader / Citadel / King / Journeyman / The Organizations Leader (Number I) / Energy: 2550/2550 / Strength/Speed: 2/10 / Neutral Element <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> Suddenly Grave would appear Right outside the Palace watching the plague soldiers move into the palace where the Queen of the nation lived. Suddenly Grave would rise up on a grey column made from energy and a large grey wall would suddenly materialize behind him, it was a large portal. "For the Organization!!!" Grave yelled as suddenly thousands upon thousands of Black cloaked figures wielding an assortment of weapons suddenly streamed out of the portal with a deafening battle cry as they clashed with the surprised plague soldiers. The members took down the enemy soldiers left and right without mercy, this was their first time in combat and they wanted to show what they were capable of. Grave simply stood on his tall column with his hands crossed watching his army stream from the portal behind him and attack the enemies without second thoughts.
(The Citadel shall join the fight! Aid for Jiaum!) <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Sephra heard the noises outside but figured the troops were handling their own for now. "Doctor," she said calmly to the shadows behind her throne. "I believe we have guests who might need your attention." A rustling could be heard before a door opened and shut towards the back. Better to come around than open the front door and let them all in.

Aqua "Grave" Graveheart Human / Revolution / Cloak / Mind-Blader / Citadel / King / Journeyman / The Organizations Leader (Number I) / Energy: 2550/2550 / Strength/Speed: 2/10 / Neutral Element <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~> Grave smiled as he lowered himself down to the ground and summoned six energy swords to float around him to fend off attackers as he walked to the front gates of the palace. He knew the entire layout of the place seeing as he had been here beforehand. As he walked through the now battlefield he noticed his men clashing with the plague soldiers, they fought honorably and finished off their kill rather nobly. But he chuckled a bit as a plague soldier tried to get near him but was stabbed with a energy blade to the throat and fell to the ground. Eventually Grave managed to get to the palace gates, he blew them open with a blast of energy and walked into the throne room. "Anyone call for death? Cause im here to bring them their order." Grave said with a smile as he stared at Sephra. A new energy sword had materialized behind him so that he still had six blades to work with instead of five. <~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~>

Sephra smiled to see someone finally break through. "Aqua Graveheart, defector to Ernya and current ruler of The Citadel. Leads one of the most actively inactive factions of this world and hopes to be labeled a hero from killing my Lord," she rattled off with a smirk. "I'm interested to see your style," she continued as she cut open her hand and threw the blood on the floor. 6 Plague Soldiers and 2 Advanced Guards, both fighters from the look of things, grew from the floor and her blood. "Please. Begin the demonstration."

"There is only evil in action,
Lady Liliana of Ernya, Sage Elementalist ███████████████████████████████████████
Alewar circled through the open top of the area and came into view of the palace. Liliana would see energies clashing where her passengers would be able to see cloaked people fighting with plague soldiers and the occasional Advanced Guard. Behind that scrimmage, the door in was blasted open and being watched by a couple Advanced Guards to ensure no one else made it through.

((Jackie, I am not sure of the downtime between flight from Triwinds to Jiaum, but please let me know if how much energy resting during that journey regenerates. I imagine it's miniscule, but hey, it's an E rank skill! biggrin Also, would you mind providing some clarification on time of day and Amaterasu's home? If I read correctly, the whole of it is built into a rockface except the front door/face of the building? Thank you Pish, in this post Krayth is instructing Blood on how to Soul Sense and Mark Soul. The skills are E rank, and given the shared class and his rank each will only take one paragraph to learn )) ⇥| |⇤The Black Knife | Master | Lord of The Devil's Eye Desert | Anima | Soul Stalker Strength= 6 | Speed= 7 ❙❙❙❚❚❚❚❙❙❙❚❚❚❙❙❙❚❚❚❙❙❙❚❚❚❚❙❙❙❚❚❚❙❙❙❚❚❚❙❙❙ His anger stayed with him in flight, but his exhaustion overtook it. Caressed on all sides by the cool wind and rhythm of the mighty dragon's path, the Anima's mind sank into a woeful slumber, leaving only his white knuckled grip keeping him aloft.
He dreamt of clouds made of tempered silver in a sky of gleaming white; motherly warmth across an Oasis made of emerald stone and rushing sapphire streams of water carving sun-sand into glistening serpentine shapes. There was Azur, hands folded gently over her belly. They were together, and traveled across a lake of daystars to lay in cold water, wrapped around each other. Bound together at their hearts, whispering words without shape but full of meaning.
We have everything. We have each other.
The cold water surged up over him, and he was sinking. Their hearts stretched out between them, blue-purple veins distended as their merged organ quivered in its beating. Cold shafts of white cut through the darkening water to illuminate his lover's face. A funerary mask. The heart tore in two; blood billowing out between them as an inky cloud to hide him from her. As he reached out, his fingers broke, his arm snapping back on itself and into the pumping cavity in his chest. He tried to call her name and spoke only bubbles of pitch. He sank, and sank, and sank... past drowning, past death, into nothing.
The Anima's eyes split open to the sounds of war and carnage. His evaporating dream still coiled around his mind, reminding him of the inescapable. Reminding him why he was here.
To kill.
"Nox'Sala, hear me."
His eyes never left the battlefield below. They were searching. Smelling. He knew what he had come for, and that she had to be here. It was time for one Murderer to murder another, and in that sea of flashing souls and fading light he saw it. Within the rocks. Gold burnished black in its fiery descent. The soul of Sephra.
"Open your eyes to the weight of one being. It's merits and deeds. It's primal powers. See it curling off them. A soul is no different than a body; a footprint. It wanders with its body and betrays it with a trail all its own, a testament to their being. A trail you can track. SENSE IT!"
His right arm thrust outwards, pointing down to the battlefield. With so many souls present and the blessings of their Dark Patrons, Blood would have no difficulty sensing their being. A storm of souls raging and falling to the Dead Lands.
"Find one that calls to you, a soul that deserves your justice. A soul that should cease to be. There-"
The Anima's arm swept out towards the two hulking beasts that blocked the way tinto the mountain. All that stood between The Anima and The Fallen.
"-see those abominations that guard the way to our true enemies? Focus! Sharpen your mind as a knife, honing it on every detail of their soul until it is known like your weapon. Stab into it the one to the right. Mark it! Do not let go until it is dead and yours!"
Krayth shared this knowledge with his protege as he practiced what he preached. That glimmer of desecrated divinity, the body invisible to his eyes but its soul unmistakable, was just out of reach... but not for long. Nothing would stop him. Darkness reaches farther than Rykros' beloved Sun, and nestled under Sephra's wings. He would take them from her.
As he glared down upon the same Plague Guard that he indicated to Blood, he began to mark it's soul. It was nothing but a perverse shell of life, puppet to plague and destruction without a will of its own. Together with his Nox'Sala, it would know the peace of death.
Beyruun could feel its sibling's singular and dangerous focus, and shifted into the familiar contours of an onyxian cannon. There above the battlefield, The Lord of The Devil's Eye began to mark Sephra of the Swift Advance for death, and waited for landing.
