It was by either some amount of miracle or just plain dumb luck that Alcyone did not gracefully fall on her face when she stepped over the barrier between Space and the awaited paradise of Elysion. Her entire body seemed to heave a happy sigh as solid ground supported her from below; evidently, floating about without much direction was something that she could not get used to. She breathed in the sweet smell of the fields, reminding her so much of honey suckle in the summertime, and her skin relished the currents of light breezes. Everything felt alive and blossoming, and because of that, comfortable.

This was much better than the cold and still-ness of space.

"Yes!" She agreed with Atlas, squeezing his hand in return. "This is so beautiful...it's as though we're in in a Romantic, or even Rococo painting!" The grass had indeed been too tempting for the sailor soldier of storms, and after some walking and gazing around at their surroundings, did she decide to sit cross-legged on the ground. She also made sure to tug Atlas down with her.

"Now...where are Orion and Merope?" Alcyone questioned allowed while scoping out tufts of bright hair-- aha! Her free hand raised and began waving as she found the familiar tendrils of blue hair. "MEROPE!"

Surely, Orion wouldn't be too far from him.

She took a few steps forward to close the distance between them as he made his way towards her. "Yeah, I know," she replied laughing lightly. "I was running late, barely made it," she explained pushing some of her hair out of her face. "Glad to see you here too...wherever this is," she frowned as she looked around. "Can't believe we were in space though, I didn't know that was possible, well in the way we got there anyway," her smile returned as she spoke.

"Any idea why we were called here?" She asked trying to remember just who had informed her of this meeting. Maybe it had been Taranis, he seemed to be pretty well connected, then again there were quite a few senshi who had her senshi number now so it could have been anyone.

"This place seems peaceful but..." her voice trailed off and she was frowning again. "I feel uneasy."

"I'm not really sure." He shook his head as he stopped by her. "The girl with pink hair brought us," He waved his hand in the direction of Chibimoon for a moment. "She called it Elysian ... which is some greek mythological thing that i can't really remember at the moment."

He looked for his cousin again while he chatted with his partner. "Someone named Kurma said we, the senshi, said we need to find somewhere safe for us to meet and the girl brought us here." He sighed and shook his head. "I'm not sure this is a good thing, because i don't know where it is exactly, but ...." He shrugged. "We're here."

Jogging beside Boreas, Neso grinned, even as his eyes flickered back to the departing form of their seafoam-haired princess. "She might need a hug, Boreas," he said. "This might be a hug emergency." If only Flora or Carpo were here to reign in the two less cautious handmaidens...

Sailor Corvus had been a part of far too many nightmares that had started out just as beautiful as the sight before her to be completely comfortable with this dream and yet she still followed her cousin through the portal, albeit hesitantly. Somehow she would convince herself that it was just to keep an eye on Arsinoe, or to see if she could round find and touch base with Eridanus, Saiph or Alshain... But she couldn't lie to herself. Deep down, really deep down, she was wondering if maybe this just could be their safe place; somewhere to just get away from the Negaverse. Could it really be that easy?

"I'm going to see if I can find any of the others." She murmured to Arsinoe, not realizing at the moment that he'd already wandered off himself. So many senshi... So few familiar faces.
PostPosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 4:38 pm

"Hug emergency? What about when I need a hug? You know a grown-up hug? I don't see you chasing after me. Besides, I don't think she wants a hug from the way she just took off. Unless it's a grown-up hug. Which is usually how I react..."

Keeping the pace, he continued to head towards the green-haired princess. Regardless of the amount of affection between the seasons and Chronos, she was at the very least keeping them on their toes. As usual she had them running all over the place. Though he did he feel almost completely in the dark about the reasons behind her sudden burst of energy. He should probably have paid more attention to her up until that point.

"In all seriousness, what do you really think she went running after? I mean, this is a nice place and all, but nothing about the decoration screams urgency."

As he jogged, he scanned the crowd of sailor soldiers that had emerged with them from the glowing pink gate. Instantly, he was surprised by the number of male senshi. Boreas was in pure disbelief that he hadn't know that there were this many attractive men amongst their ranks. If he hadn't felt so compelled to safeguard Chronos, he would have immediately broken his sprint and mingled with each one. However, duty called, regardless of how much he wanted to play.

Was he seeing things? Merope shook his head as he stood up, brushing the dirt off of his pants. He could have sworn that he had just landed on a leopard, but looking around revealed that there wasn't a big cat around. He shrugged. Whatever. Maybe he was just seeing things?

The senshi paused as another observation slowly sunk in. He couldn't hear his star. He summoned his senshi phone and looked at it, staring at the Currently Unavailable notice. Really? There went his back-up plan. He was looking forward to visiting his home planet, but what he really wanted was to bring his team along -- perhaps they could help him figure out the things that puzzled him. All though, there was the fact that Orion was with Sailor Requiem...

Merope gave a quick, unhappy sigh. This meeting was quickly moving up in the ranks of 'Things Merope Dislikes.'

He looked up as Alcyone called him, waving back before slowly ambling over towards them. An eyebrow was raised at their closeness, but he chose not to comment. "Hey guys," he greeted, flopping down next to them. "You two doin' okay? I'm thinking about wandering around for a little bit."

"....Woooooowwwwwwww...."

Eridanus had yet to even visit his own home planet, let alone space, and then ELYSIUM. It was a rather... new experience for him, and quite and stunning one.

If the show had only made Rosalind throw a tantrum, it had something the opposite effect on the senshi of ink, who was looking around in amazement. It took him a second to register Corvus, though when he did he whirled to face her with one of his standard brilliant grins.

"Isn't this AMAZING? This is Amazing! Someone's gotta tell that girl this is amazing." He repeated, meaning the Princess-Heir to the Moon (and Earth).

Past Boreas and Neso, a blond musical senshi had run past them, his rush apparently as anxious as Chronos. Why? Nobody knew-- but what was obvious was that there was something at the destination where Chronos headed, something both Euterpe and Chronos desired. He obviously wasn't after the green-haired princess.. His only intent was to catch up along-side her, his unusually serious and rushed expression revealed that there was something urgent ahead.

When he entered Elysion, he had fallen face flat, propelled into the door by the lack of gravity, he had expected himself to float in-- KABOOM. Flat on his face. But in the air for the briefest of moments, a figure had been in the distance. A.. familiar figure? A rush had gone through him, scrambling to stand up and run through the entire herd of senshi gathered together. (God, it was like running through sheep. Difficult and they were all white, with a mix of other colors. Mainly white. At least that made the scenery easy to see.)

If it was who he thought it was, it would have made his day far better-- He only had elusive glimpses of her as is .. It would have been another chance to fulfill the desperate craving in the inner corner of his heart. Some familiar allies might have seen him running ahead of the crowd, like Gunn or the Blood Moon Court. He didn't have time to admire the scenery-- Hell no, there wasnt time for that!

"Where were you?" Corvus hissed as she punched Eridanus lightly in the arm, trying her best to look stern, failing miserably as the light of his smile worked its way past her defenses as it always did. Her huff was soon replaced by fondness as she slid her arms around the taller senshi in a quick embrace as she spoke quietly. "I'm glad you're here..."

Then Corvus was drawing back, all business and determination once more, girlishness aside. "I haven't seen Saiph or Alshain yet... Or Galatea!" She turned her head, looking around quickly for a moment before her eyes drifted back to her companion. "It's... Like a dream, isn't it? A sweet, beautiful dream. Do you really think we're safe here?"

((TL;DR -- you only have to read the last few paragraphs to get the gist, starting with 'The first warm smell blah blah blah.' Sorry about the length, orz))

Rea had avoided the meeting on purpose. These days she did very little when it came to interacting with other senshi beyond her own teammates, although with a few having also joined the Blood Moon Court even those times were becoming fewer and fewer. Her meetings with Chibi also kept her connected with the senshi world, her bubbly little maiden stopping by to visit and recount her latest exploit, going to great lengths to describe her adventures of school and senshidom with not only words, but smiles and sweeping motions. There were a few others, of course -- Euterpe's persistence was nothing short of admirable, albeit sigh-worthy at times, and she had met with Chronos not long before. Still, even this exposure was limited, even after her return from her self-induced banishment. That suited her just fine. Tartaros was long since past, but the memory was only just beginning to fade, still a tender scar in her mind.

Seated at her desk in the apartment she shared with her forever roommate-and-best-friend, the strawberry blonde girl was completely unaware of the significance that had occurred at warehouse. As the other senshi floated through space, her pencil scrawled easily along a page with the same careless loops that others had spun with their bodies. Even as the wave of pink light cascaded through space, Chibimoon's crystal pulsing with energy as a portal was opened, and Elysion's paradisaical fields were revealed, Rea sat unperturbed, the only sound in the room the steady, gentle ticking of a clock.

A ticking that, with each passing second, she felt her attention shift to, until she was staring at it, feeling so acutely the second-hand click into position.

Something was wrong… so very wrong.

She could feel it.

Almost immediately unwarranted fears began flooding into her mind, flashes of 'nightmares' and 'trapped' and 'failure' quickening her heartbeat, the soft fluttering presence pressing just a bit more firmly against the back of her mind. She had risen without realizing it, the pencil rolling under the desk and out of sight, but she paid it no attention, already half-scrambling to her bedside table, hands shaking as as she yanked open the door, her hands flailing inside to find the smooth surface of her henshin pen against her palm. No, no it couldn't be, she was dead. It was gone. It couldn't...! Still, she felt her heart pounding as she closed her eyes just a little too tightly, squeezing both fists around her pen as she pressed her forehead against the emblem at the top, willing herself to Elysion.

The first smell of the warm wind tugging against her hair was a relief, and her body relaxed marginally as she opened her eyes to the sight of the marbled temple, and with it reason flooded back to her. She was not locked out. And yet that feeling was still there, the slightest sensation of wrongness, like a puzzle piece that didn't quite ... fit. Eyebrows furrowed slightly, she let her hands drop to her sides, brushing the white material that marked her as the priestess, stepping out of the temple's sanctuary and down the steps, golden eyes scanning the surrounding. She received her answer almost immediately in the sight of Chronos half-running towards the temple, followed closely by the blue and white form of Euterpe. Almost immediately she jerked a little in surprise, almost taking a step back as she glanced between them, her mouth falling open a little. That was... not right...? Not only not right, that was impossible, right? With the exception of her Prince, only she had the power to open the Gates of Elysion! Yet even as she thought it, there was a distinct knowing in the back of her mind that told her no. There was one other. Still, she ignored this fact as if her life depended on it, wings pulled close to her body as she descended down the steps, completely brushing past Chronos and Euterpe, pressing forward through the fields to where the rest of the senshi frolicked, each in a different state of euphoria. But it was the sight of Ares, her black fuku and red cape standing out amongst the white of the rest of the senshi, that froze Helios to the place she stood,

Her breath had suddenly left her. It felt like someone had stepped on something inside her, something small and made of hollowed glass. She could almost hear the crystalline sound of the shards quivering under their heel.

"What are you doing?"

The sound was barely above a whisper, but everyone in Elysion heard it distinctly, regardless of where they were. Her voice rose a little, the smallest bit of fury lacing her tone.

"Get out."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 05, 2011 5:25 pm

"That's not a surprise, it's a mob." he comforted, rocking sideways in an teasing, over-exaggerated reaction to Corvus' blow, and then putting his own arm around her as he rocked back.

"Look at all these senshi!" He pointed out, gesturing at the huge croud with his free hand. "If even half of them had time to get off an attack, the rest would be filling in the crater left over from whatever attacked."

With the enormous power some of them possessed, this was only a little bit of a joke. "You gotta admit though."
His eyes sparkled like stars themselves. "If this place is safe, than we have the coolest club house to meet in ever."

...Or did they? He blinked in surprise, his smile fading at the fury of Pegasus, the Senshi of Ink uncertain and confused exactly how they'd managed to piss someone off that much.

"...Pegasus?" MuCephei whispered in wounded confusion.
But it wasn't... not quite... and she was furious.
Her eyes swept the grounds, searching for the princess, the small lady whom had brought them here, surely...surely she must know what was happening, what was wrong.
What had they done that was so...terrible?

Saiph hadn't wanted to go to the meeting. She hadn't wanted to leave the warmth and safety of Alshain's arms. And most especially, she hadn't wanted to appear ANYWHERE in her fuku and let everyone else see some of the interesting marks Alshain had left. Saiph thought she could deal with almost anything, but knowing smirks and cattiness when she was so emotionally broken was more than she was willing to deal with.

But she'd shown up (only after a great deal of being nudged and tugged out of bed on Alshain's part) and stood as far in the back of the warehouse as possible, shivering violently. Granted, Alshain had stood with her, encircling her with his arms. He knew why she hadn't wanted to look at another senshi so soon. He understood why being stuck in a group of senshi was grating against her already shattered nerves right now. She'd seen firsthand the proof of Tanzanite's threat to corrupt the senshi one by one.

She'd been forced to fight her best friend. And while neither had really won, the pain and confusion in Alkaid's eyes as she'd vanished tore at Saiph's heart. The Negaverse had taken Alkaid from her. Her best friend was now her worst enemy. The shock and hurt had been so great that she'd gone to Alshain's place as soon as she'd been able to stand. And in the days since, she hadn't left.

Except for this stupid meeting. She'd glared venomously at almost all the other senshi. The only ones who hadn't had the stinkeye thrown their way had been Chibi Moon and Chronos. She hadn't seen Corvus or Eridanus. And when Kurma had told them all to clear their minds, she'd done it willingly, retreating from the cold and crowd into the silence of her mind.

Even the arguing going on around her didn't make it past the bleak emotional wall she'd surrounded herself with. Only Alshain could reach her. And when Chibi Moon had opened the portal to Elysion, she'd simply waited til most had gone through and then went through herself.

"It's gorgeous here," She heard Alshain murmur in her ear. "C'mon, let the others argue and plot as they like. Let's just find a quiet place to sit and think."

Nodding in agreement, Saiph thought that no one could be as understanding as Alshain. It was one of the reasons she loved him.

The anger of Pegasus -- no, Helios -- was so great, and so tangible, that it immediately caught the attention of every senshi in the vicinity. There was the immediate sense that they had done something wrong... terribly wrong, that this was place for anyone to ever set foot on unless it was for an incredibly good reason. The priest's demand for them to leave hit like a hammer on them all. There was no questioning it. This was simply not a place for them to be.

Except... there was something strange about Helios's presence, and her words. It felt dark.

No... that wasn't it...

...there was a very large dark presence behind the priest.

On the horizon behind Elysion's angered guardian, the senshi could make out the silhouettes of several dozen new invaders, the foreboding aura they carried with them clearly spelling out who they were. Somehow, against all odds, the Negaverse had found their way here.

And, like usual, they didn't seem happy.

At a time like this, there was only one thing left to do. And leaving Elysion wasn't it...
