If You Really Knew Me...

If you really knew me, you'd see that behind my smiling mask is a life of pain and lost dreams. You would look upon my soul and wonder how I made it through without going insane, and I'd just smile back and say I have forgiven those who have hurt me so. I am a student, but never a disciple, because even though I follow the Teacher's lessons, I do not believe as he believed. You would see the misery of the past, the fears of the present, and the hopes of tomorrow.

You'd also see that I am very philosophical and poetic.

1. you'd know it was just my birthday, and I needed all the love and good wishes I could get
2. you never would have believed him over me, and I wouldn't have felt like I had to leave you all
3. you'd know my whole life now revolves around my beautiful son, and most days that's awesome, but some days, I just want it all to end, but I'm terrified of leaving him all alone.
4. you'd figure out I'm stressing myself sick
5. you'd see I'm starting to resent my fiance...

I'm glad I'm not the only one then!

&& if you really knew me you'd know that I really hate sleeping and would prefer to use the time to learn new languages or master some sort of hobby.

If you really knew me ... you'd know that I prefer being alone even though I wish with all my heart for someone. You'd know that I feel comfy in the closet, but Sometimes I brave it to try to explore outside, but then go back in. You'd know a million things I keep to myself.

I have no idea what to do on days off from class- so I do homework that isn't due for weeks.
When I get bored or angry I take to cleaning.
I can't finish video games in one sitting or one at a time- I have to be playing many so if I get stuck on one I can merely move along to another.

If you really knew me you'd know that under my quiet and reserved outlook I'm the exact opposite, I can be quite random and funny at times. You'd also know that when I get close to people I hesitate in getting all affectionate because I'm afraid that if I open myself up ill get hurt.
