UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 1500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 500 After a few moments had passed, the whispering stopped, dismantling itself into nothingness, where only the still air was the source of noise. That is, until Sensei Yaminaro spoke up. "Now class, you have got to remember that in any real combat scenario, your lethality, your wit, and your instinct will be the difference between walking back home with some cuts and bruises here and there, and being sent home with half your ligaments intact. Is that clear?!" Now, in any given scenario, that short speech would have been moving. In this one however, with the oldest ones being fourteen like Yomonaru had been, and the littlest ranging around eight years old, some of the kids had been mortified by the older man's words. However, their scared little faces would be completely wiped off the majority of visages present. Only at this point did a soft sigh escape Yomonaru, head hanging low once more, as the thoughts of his family life had flooded his subconscious. Nichi Uchiha, being his father. A great man was he, but Yomonaru's father kept to himself. Times where the boy would attempt to reach out to his father, it would always be to no avail. The words from Sensei Yaminaro broke the small Uchiha out of his train of thought however, the class being instructed to return inside the Academy. It was time for their tests. For now, it would be just the written type. Later on, they would all have to demonstrate their skill in the ninja arts. "Hey, Hotaru, what do you think the test will even be about today?" Yomonaru's head shifted to the left, eyes scanning over another boy who was his own age, hair light brown with a small blue scarf overlapping itself around his neck. Hotaru was always the quiet type, but Yomonaru insisted on asking the boy anyways; dialogue was needed, anything to get his mind off of those thoughts prior to Yaminaro interrupting. "Uhh, Yomo, I don't.." The boy's speech paused, stuttering as he tried to find the smallest of words to reply with. "I don't know...to be honest?" Hotaru couldn't have sounded anymore unsure of himself. Yomonaru sighed, eyes closing as he patted the boy on his right shoulder. The door swung open, being held by Yaminaro, and the students entered. Yomo, it was the shortest way to abbreviate his name, and it was what friends or family members called him. Yomonaru Sudai Uchiha, but Yomo was the best way to not say the nine-syllabled name. The door swung shut, the Uchiha having been the last to enter. Quickly looking up, scanning for the middle of three rows of seats, Yomonaru walked to where he preferred to sit. Middle row, three from the right; it was almost the dead center of the seats, elevated one above the first, and one down from the third row. "Your testing today will involve the lessons we taught you all during the training exercises. How to handle weapons, what the names of each weapon is called, and so forth so on." Yaminaro shuffled the papers, hitting them lightly against the desk so they fell until they perfectly overlapped one another. The teacher walked around, passing the papers down the row until each student had one. When it came to Yomonaru, he took his own, passing the last two onto Hotaru. "Good luck, and no cheating." Yaminaro slammed his palm against his own desk before seating himself. There was a long moment of silence, the students all reading over the instructions of the test, the material that was covered, and lastly, the questions. After a minute, the shuffling of pencil to paper filled the room. Yomonaru didn't fret however. His pencil moved swiftly, answering questions such as, "How many edges does a shuriken have?" and so on. It was relatively easy and all but a few gave him some trouble. He shot a quick glance over to Hotaru, the shy boy biting down his pencil to the core, beads of sweating occurring every two seconds on his forehead. Weapons wasn't his strong suit although when it came to anything medical, Hotaru usually succeeded very easily. After fifteen minutes, pencils stopped writing for the most part, Yomonaru being one of the first to finish, with Hotaru nearing the high end of it. Yaminaro nodded, acknowledging when the whole class had finished. A small smirk crossed him, picking up the papers as he had done so. Swiftly, he would place the papers atop his desk before turning his back to the class and his front to the board. Taking a piece of chalk, Yaminaro began writing on the board. When he was finished, he turned so that he was facing the class. "For proficiency, and I use that word strictly, I will be viewing you each individually as you come up in front of the class, and show the whole lot of us that you know your three basic jutsu. In this case however, it will be just one of those jutsu." He pointed to the board, and etched carefully into the dark green background, in white listed three words: "Bunshin no Jutsu". ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

Upon returning herself to her seat, the petite child's eyes scanned the room for anyone of whom she may know from her childhood as well as others that she would soon get to know. "Aya, you looked quite confident walking back to your seat." A child about the same size as she spoke when she returned to her stool. Ayaka looked at the girl, uncertain of what to say. She simply smiled and replied, "We've been working for this our whole childhood, ne?" Both girls then heard the clacking of chalk on the board, their attention focused only on that. "Bunshin no Jutsu." Ayaka's smile grew, hopefully she'd get called up before most of the others. Yaminaro's eyes looked around the room, perhaps he was looking for someone to pick to begin. Starting a row behind her, Yaminaro called a boy up first. "You there, Sori, why don't you give us the honor?" Nearly everyone, minus Ayaka and a couple others eyes were locked on Sori's movements. As he walked up the the front of the class, everyone's heads moved with him until he was straight ahead. "Poor kid, huh?" Tarimi, the girl beside Ayaka whispered under her breath. The girl's ignorance made Ayaka sigh in disbelief. "Alright, show us what you've got Sori. Yaminaro stood up straight with his arms crossed, as he then relaxed himself to lean back onto the wall off beside the chalkboard. Sori looked as though he was the timid type, he was very nervous in front of the whole class. The boy stood and just stared at the room that was completely focused on him. Some you could say, felt bad for him, others of course were just happy that wasn't them. Ayaka, just wanted to get it over with, hoping the way students were picked were by descending rows. If not, she might have found herself quite frustrated. The boy's face turned a tint of pink as he looked at his hands in complete confusion. Moving them in a very slow manner, a few minutes had passed. "Okay. I'm ready. Sorry for the anticipation." Sori laughed it off, bowing to the class. Quickly the boy had moved his hands in the correct seals once again, saying loudly "Bunshin no Jutsu!" If anyone had no been paying attention, they must have been now. After the boy spoke, surprisingly successful, there was another identical version of him standing beside him. Yaminaro smiled and clapped, then looked out to the students. "This. This is what you need to achieve, but quicker than our friend here." After directing Sori back to his seat, Yaminaro waved up the next person. This system of calling and performing the task repeated several times and Ayaka had just then tuned it out, practicing the hand seals in her lap. A low ratio of failure though, was impressive. "Ayaka Rei." Her attention now in the direct of which her name came from. She was up, Yaminaro had gone out of slight order, at least the order that he had began to follow. Perhaps, he saw the lack of interest on the girl's face, and decided to amuse her with her own jutsu. Ayaka rose from her seat, fixing her dress only slightly, she almost waltzed to the front of the class. Her elegance and posture were completely perfect, and she was there to impress, only being from one of the lesser-known wealthy families of Kumogakure it was the one thing her mother, Kiu Tomomi, had wished upon her daughter before leaving into the real world. Bowing the Yaminaro, Ayaka then stood in front of the class. "Bunshin no Jutsu." The girl's hands moved faster than most of the other students that had gone up. A replica of herself appeared to her right side. Trying to control the replica, Ayaka was troubled in trying to have it face Yaminaro. Sighing, she bowed to him as her clone disappeared and she walked back to her seat. Not impressed with herself, Yaminaro called up the others in the class. Ayaka simply sat and doodled only hearing some names at a time. "Kaito,"[.b] pause, "Takamora," etcetera. Moving her fingers along the desk, she looked up to see only two students that hadn't gone yet. She stared at one just as he had turned around to see if he was one of the last, they made eye contact. "Hotaru." The boy looked away from Ayaka worriedly, then back at her when he stood. She watched him, by this time everyone else's minds were occupied with their Genin lives. The boy was successful, returning to his seat, he turned and smiled at Ayaka. Then, Yaminaro called the final student. "Finally, Yomonaru."

UCHIHA CLAN || YOMONARU UCHIHA || CHAKRA RESERVES: 1500 || STAMINA RESERVES: 500 If there was thing to be seen, it would be the multiple students that all were chosen from the group to come down and showcase their unoriginal talent, the act of performing the bunshin no jutsu. One-by-one, they stood up, walked down, and performed. "You don't uh, you don't suppose that-" Hotaru whispered quietly into the vicinity that Yomonaru sat. However, as soon as he had tried to speak, his own name was called aloud. Immediately, his head had turned, cheeks becoming flushed with red hues as his attention broke off from one of the girls he had looked to. Hotaru drew in a deep breath, and walked down, his seals going together as planned. Although, Ayaka Rei, the girl who Hotaru had looked at, it was an honest surprise to see her complete the jutsu so efficiently. Normally, like he, she was the quiet type, never saying more than a few words in conversation, or at least, that was what he had gathered from the scarce occurrences in meeting her. Nonetheless, solid black eyes met Hotaru's as the shy boy walked up, sitting down as he quickly buried his head into both arms. The last name to be called, well, it wouldn't have been a surprise. "Finally, Yomonaru." The Uchiha's eyes jumped from Hotaru and straight toward Sensei Yaminaro. A quiet nod of his head, followed by a brief exhale, Yomonaru placed his hands onto the desk as he pushed himself up. He always hated being the last to go up, the scattered attention focused on him, Yomonaru didn't like it. When his footsteps halted, he found himself right next to Yaminaro, eyes swaying upward at the other students, some paying attention, others, like Hotaru, completely oblivious to the world. Yomonaru looked over to his Sensei then, Yaminaro gesturing toward him to go on. Yomonaru nodded, bringing his hands up as his left index and middle finger crossed horizontally behind the vertical right index and middle finger. Closing his eyes, Yomonaru spoke aloud. "Bunshin no jutsu!" In the next moments following, a small cloud of smoke materialized beside the boy. When it cleared, an exact replica stared at the class like he had. A success. Although, not many of the students were thrilled due to the fact that they had seen this act multiple times in the past twenty minutes. Yaminaro began clapping, slowly, as his attention was focused on the entirety of the class. "Yes, yes. Good job, Yomonaru. Now, for those that have done as he had, I have something important to tell you all about!" His face seemed to brighten up completely, attention focusing toward his desk, in which he had pulled out a stack of cloth, unveiling it to be multiple headbands, all etched with Kumogakure's symbol, multiple polygons, resembling the clouds in which the village had received its name. "Sadly, not all of you will receive a headband, symbolizing your graduation from this Academy. However, never let that stop you from trying and giving everything your all. This day, if you receive such, you are hereby considered to be a full-fledged Genin, and your latest information will be given to you at a later date. Also, there will be a ceremony shortly following today, in which your parents or guardians can come and see their loved ones recognized as shinobi." Yaminaro leaned against the board, his hands cupping the headbands as the ends dripped down on both sides. "When I call your name, you will come down, receive your headband, and stand in front of the first row of desks. Takamora, please step down. Hotaru. Ayaka. Kaito. Yomonaru. You five have shown efficient understanding in the way of the shinobi. Please take these as a token of gratitude from yours truly but also, as a symbol of experience." ╔══════════OOC═══════════╗

Being summoned to the front with very few others, Ayaka bowed to Sensei Yaminaro as he handed her a Kumogakure headband. She had been the only female to receive one in her class. The five genin now stood in a line together in front of Yaminaro staring at their headbands, "Now, you can wear it to fit your liking but, be sure to have the village symbol showing. It is very important that you do this, you don't want to be mistaken for a rouge." Three of the five scrambled, trying to figure out how they were going to wear their bands; they went to their waists, wrists, necks, etcetera. Ayaka's hair had been tied up during her test, but she quickly figured out how she wanted her headband to be in her hair. Pulling out the hair-tie, Ayaka's short wavy brown hair had just brushed upon her shoulders. She then placed the headband in her hair just as a hairpiece would go and wrapped the end ribbon in a braid down her neck. Yomonaru hadn't fidgeted with his too much either; the boy had already had it on his head correctly, just has Sensei Yaminaro had set his example. The other genin conversed amongst themselves as Ayaka stayed quiet waiting for further instruction. Being as quiet as she, she felt no need to talk at this exact moment. "Now that the room has cleared, Yaminaro spoke to the genin remaining, but Ayaka failed to notice anyone had left until it was mentioned. "We will meet once again in a short manner of time with your parents or guardians present for your ceremony. Please, return later for that without getting yourselves in too much trouble." Ayaka smiled solemnly to herself at the thought of trouble, then looked to Yomonaru as he stood at the other end of the row, her smile faded to just a stare-like-gaze then returned just as it had before. Such as a greeting to someone who shared such silence. The genin went to leave the building just as Yaminaro spoke his last words, "Oh and don't forget, the real world is nothing like academics." With that, he left the students to go as he disappeared in the wind. 116/ 100

Quote: Lightening Country: Six years Prior Golden eyes snapped open as soon as the first ray of sun pierced through her window. This was the day, the day Saru was looking forward to. All her life up to this moment in time she had been trapped, hidden away from the world in seclusion. Although Saru was only Ten She knew well enough why her parents had hidden her away. Throwing her covers off her petite body her eyes lingered on the cause of her family’s shame, where what should have been feet a second set of hands greeted her. She flexed them, her feet-hands balling up into fist before spreading out. And pushed out of the bed, an unhidden childish eagerness spread across her face. Breezing through her morning routine, she didn’t take much care in making herself look presentable. This would be her first time into town, and alone for the day no less! White Hair nearly stood on end, the short boyish hair sticking up in every direction when she bounced into the living room. Her mother was already up and ready, though her expression and stature exuded a nervousness that was nearly palpable in the room. Saru looked neither like her mother nor her father, and her appearance was the cause of her mother’s exile and estrangement from the family. “Mom! Mom! How do I look?” she blabbered, excitement lacing her every word as she spun around. She attempted to lighten the mood with her smile, though often she was met with failure when trying to make her mother happy. She knew that everyday her mother had to live with the consequences of her being born a monster. It was Saru’s fault after all that they had been sent off to Lightning Country instead of them living in Konoha. The sound of her mother’s disapproval at her appearance made Saru frown, she had spent the last month thinking about the perfect outfit to start the ninja academy in. Glancing down at herself she didn’t understand what was so wrong with her choice in outfit. She was petite, even for children’s standards, and could easily be mistaken for a boy. Her Khaki shorts were loose on her hips, her prehensile tail (Also one of her birth deformities) swayed from side to side in the back. A Red shirt (Her favorite color) hung loosely around her, being so young she didn’t boast the figure of a girl, and even her mother sometimes commented on how she looked like a boy from time to time. Her feet were bare, a drawback to the fact of her birth defect, and her feet-hands were open for everyone to see. “Saru, come here. “ Her mother muttered, a weariness weighing on her words. Turning her head to the side she was confused, but followed her mothers instructions anyways. Golden eyes watched as her mother dug through a drawer, pulling out a roll of bandages. Ninja often used the rolls as a sort of padding for their knuckles to protect against minor injuries when fighting. Holding out her hands Saru had assumed she was going to wrap her hands so she would not get injured, however her mother had different intentions. “Lift up your shirt” her mother Stated. Complying Saru was not completely confused, but when her mother began to bind her tail to her body she realized what exactly she was doing. She was hiding her shame, like she had done all these years. A Sadness penetrated Saru but she knew her mother knew best and sat quietly and obediently as her tail was bound painfully tight to her. “I’m doing this for your own good” Her mother muttered as she worked “Children and people look down on anything different..” It was as the words were to calm her Mother down more than Saru. Once finished Saru tried to move. It was painful to move in some directions but she didn’t complain. Her mother was the only thing Saru had known, so she trusted her mother knew best. “Your feet now Saru…” Her mother said, discarding the empty roll and getting a new one for the drawer, sitting on the floor them and patting her lap, signaling for Saru to hold out her foot to her mother. She did so curious as to how her mother would hide these. “Now tuck your thumb under… Yes like this” Her mothers gentle hands were shaking, no doubt from having to deal with her feet-hands directly like this. At first the wrapping wasn’t as painful as she had originally thought it would be however once her mother was finished and she was forced to put pressure on her bound hand-feet the pain brought Saru to tears. “Mama! Mama! I don’t want to go anymore” She begged, the pain so severe it even pushed Saru to the point of not wanting to attend the ninja Academy anymore. She was so busy crying Saru did not notice her Mother pull out a package of new shoes (Saru’s first pair) until her Mom began to speak “Saru Shh…. Shhh… You have to go, you don’t want to disappoint me do you? Our family has been ninja for generations… You have to.” With that Saru quieted down, though the tears continued to fall down her face. She watched as her mom put on her new shoes, and unlike normal ninja shoes these covered her entire feet. “There…. “ Her mother said, her shoulders still visibly shaking. “Now Saru, You must NEVER let anyone see these, and you must study hard to be a ninja… Perhaps if you are able to become a talented Ninja the family will accept us again, do you understand Saru?” Saru nodded, understanding that this would be her chance to fix the shame of her birth. “Now Saru, it’s time to go to school” Her mother said getting up and brushing off her legs. Saru stepped forward, unsteadily and hobbled. It took nearly all of her strength not to fall, wiping the tears off of her face she took a deep breath and followed her mom out of the door, stumbling and hobbling along the road trying desperately just to keep up with her Mothers walking. It seemed like an eternity before the building of the Academy loomed in the distance. Saru’s first time into town and she was unable to appreciate it, the pain keeping her focused on just trying to walk. Although she was not vocalizing the pain, the tears didn’t keep falling down her face. She gripped onto her mother’s shirt, mostly to prevent her from falling. “We’re here honey” Her mother said, stopping suddenly. For the first time since stepping out of her house, Saru tore her eyes from her feet. What greeted her were the eyes of what would soon be her fellow classmates, their parents if there were talking briefly to the instructor before turning heel and leaving. “Hey look at that new boy! He’s clinging to his Mom and crying! What a baby!” an unknown child’s voice rang out, laughter soon erupting from her classmates. Saru looked up to her Mother, if she heard it she pretended she didn’t, “Go now Saru” Her Mother said giving her a push to the kids. She nodded and let go of her mother, Walking and stumbling over, falling flat on her face. The same voice of the kid that had called her a boy before chimed out again through the laughter “Look! The kid can’t even walk right! He should just give up being a ninja now!” Struggling to get back up Saru didn’t even bother correcting him; instead she hobbled over to a corner by herself. Anger flared in Saru, but she didn’t want to disappoint her mother so she stayed quiet. Not being able to balance using her tail or feet-hands, Saru had to re-learn how to walk. This put her at a severe disadvantage even on her first day of school. Once in the classroom itself, the rest of the children seemed to avoid her like the plague. She took a seat, grateful for the chance to get off of her feet and spend the first half of the day taking notes. Pushing the insults of the other children inside, she found all that she was learning fascinating. However once the second part of the day came to be and the instructor had them running laps the torment from the other children started again. She could barely walk let alone Run, and she could see on the instructors face every time she fell that even he thought her to be a disappointment. Once the day was out, Saru was excited to finally be able to get away from the kids that tormented her. It took her even longer to find her way home than it had taken her to get to the school, By now the sharp pain of walking on her feet-hands had dulled to a tolerable level, or perhaps she was just getting used to it. Whatever the case Saru had forgotten which way to take to get home, and by the time she walked through her door it had been long past dark. As soon as she entered the door she kicked off the shoes and tore off the bindings, her feet-hands purple and blue with bruises and covered in blisters from walking on them all day. She stretched them out weakly and bit her lip from the pain of un-cramping them. Letting out a sigh she climbed back onto her tender feet and removed the bandages keeping her tail flat against her back. Limping she made her way to the bathroom, her mother not even greeting her, and got out some salve to place on the wounds on her feet. For the most part Saru continued the ritual of binding her deformities everyday and going to school, then coming home every night. With every day she walked on the feet, the more she got used to the pain and before too long calluses had began to form, giving her even more protection from having battered and torn feet-hands. However the one thing that did not change was the torment from her peers. She was often made fun of and ostracized, and her classmates still thought she was a boy. Finding it rather funny Saru never bothered to tell her classmates she was a girl, instead she wondered just how long they would think she were a boy. She was often considered the weakest one in the class, though she excelled at all the paper tests and had a knack for picking up the techniques learned. Everything changed on the night of her twelfth birthday though; once she had come home she didn’t find her mother in the kitchen cooking dinner like usual. When she had opened the door to her house she was greeting instead with the side of her mothers lifeless body hanging from the ceiling, the stench of death permeating the air. On the ground by where the body was hanging there were two notes, picking them up Saru read. One was a suggestion from her instructor to withdraw from the academy, he felt she was “Not suited” for the life of a ninja and that her Physical abilities lacked. The second was a note from Konoha, from her father. It stated he wanted nothing to do with her mother or Saru. Gritting her teeth Saru crumbled the paper in her hands, then threw it against the wall in anger. Looking up sadness gripped her, and she realized that her mother’s hardships in life, had been because she were born. Saru walked to the kitchen, calling the authorities and within the hour her mothers body was taken out of the house. A week later her mothers Funeral was held, she was the only one to attend. Because Saru was now an orphan of sorts, the country paid her basic bills for her living expenses, and Saru herself was determined to prove that her mother’s death was for nothing and she had the potential to be a great ninja. She continued her ritual of binding up her deformities, her mothers voice ringing out to her to not let anyone find out. Now however, instead of sleeping Saru trained at night, training her body to run on very little sleep. The house slowly transformed from a living place, to a training ground. Equipment and books littered the floor, and Saru even took to wearing weighted bands around her wrist and ankles to help improve her strength. Even after months after her mothers death Saru was still a favorite topic around her classmates. Because she had to bind her tail to ber body, she also bound her breast. She preferred to be considered a boy, and even then her figure didn’t really change until she was about fifteen. With her focus and determination Saru’s abilities and strength had grown exponentially, and because of the lack of sleep permanent black circles surrounded her eyes. Only a year ago during her sparring she was considered at the bottom of the class, and while she was still not the top of her class physically, she could hold her own against many of her classmates. Soon enough her classmates stopped picking on her, and some even tried to befriend her. Saru wasn’t interested, not in people like that. Instead she ignored them and focused on herself. Another year passed and soon Thirteen-year-old Saru found she was sitting in the classroom taking the paper potion of the final tests. Soon she would be a Genin, a certified ninja. That is of course if she passed the physical portion of the test. She was confident about the paper test, all of the questions she had thus far had been easy for her. However, even with her training, Saru was nervous for the physical portion. Too soon the time arrived and the students who were up for graduation were sent to the open fields. Saru observed that those who were grading their potential were the ones who had been set up to be the new Genin instructors. She wondered if they chose their teams of if the teams were set up on those who’s abilities complimented one another’s. The sparring was nothing special, for this Graduation they had set up three different parts of the physical exam, based on Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, and Genjutsu. They weren’t just grading the students compared to one another, but they were trying to find each students niche. Saru did fairly well, except for on the Genjutsu portion which she had never been too great at anyways, but she felt confident. She realized then, once she graduated she would have to work as a team. Frowning she began to reflect on her time in the academy. She had never made any friends, always opting to work alone, however she wondered what a team dichotomy was like. Saru watched, bored, as the last few academy students displayed their abilities. The sun was already about to set and they still had to wait for the instructors to tell the class who passed and who didn’t. It seemed like hours passed before they were ushered into the classroom and their instructor began calling out names. Many of the student’s parents were there, to witness their sons or daughters achievement or disappointment. Saru however, was alone. She had almost missed it when her name was called and her diploma and headband held up for her. A look of pure shock was on her face. She got up excitedly, not bothering to hide her excitement as she accepted her status as Genin. She shouldn’t have been surprised when the same boy who had made fun of her the first day of class chimed out in what should have been her one moment of happiness she had had in this place “HAHA! WHAT A SURPRISE THE CRYBABY BOY MADE IT. EVERYONE KNOWS HIS MOM KILLED HERSELF BECAUSE HE WAS SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT. I BET THEY’RE ONLY PROMOTING HIM BECAUSE THEY FEEL BAD” However, unlike before there was no laughing and an odd silence set over the room. The rage that Saru had tried to hard to manage had bubbled over, insulting her on the day that should have been her moment to redeem herself to her mother was too much. Reaching under her shirt Saru ribbed off her bindings, as her girlish figure became apparent. Her tail stayed hidden beneath her shirt, at least for now. She kicked off her shoes then, each kick aimed at the a*****e that had insulted her. He dodged the first, but the second shoe hit him square in the face. While he was recovering from the shock of her attack she had already dashed forwards, passing her diploma and headband back to her tail to hold. By now her tail was already visible, and the instructors in the room were too shocked by the sudden reveal to make a move. She was on top of the boy then, and in her dash had disposed of the bindings that kept her feet bound, Her foot-hand on the guys throat. Growling in anger she balled her fist and landed a good hard punch to the boys face before she noticed the upper nin were starting to move. She jumped off of him, and was much more agile now that she could use her tail as a counter weight. And with a grin she stuck up her middle finger to the boy who was clutching his face, a bruise already blossoming on his eye. “Hey a*****e, I’m a girl” She said with a laugh before jumping off and Running as fast as she could. Once she started to flee the Nin had stopped following her, she guessed they realized that the boy had gotten what he deserved, and that she didn’t want to be followed after that. Looking back to her tail, which was curled around her headband, Saru had come to an important conclusion that day. What she had once thought to be a weakness, a deformity, something she had tried to hide away in shame, was actually perhaps her advantage over everyone in that classroom. Her analytical mind worked quickly, and the possibilities of the uses of her feet-hands and tail were limitless. She made her way inside her house and grabbed the nearest empty paper, scrawling the notes and possibilities in her head down onto the paper. Within weeks she had received numerous letters about her squad and team, but always ignored them. She even ignored her first assigned squad when they came knocking on her door. A letter soon made it’s way to her hands telling her than she had been unassigned for obvious uninterested in pursuing her Genin status, and that her status had been revoked. She was too busy to even worry about that, for she instead spent her time relearning how to fight with her own body, How to utilize her feet-hands and prehensile tail to benefit her in combat. Many things now that she had the use of these tools came more easily to her, and she was no longer placed in the pain she had to go through daily while in the academy, and with each passing day of rediscovering herself a peace for her mothers death also came. One thing would never come though, and that would be forgiveness for her main family in Konoha. She would never forgive what they had put her mother and herself through. And with her “Deformities” as they called it she vowed to get stronger so she could prove herself and grow stronger. Three years later Saru finally felt like she was ready. After re-learning how to utilize her newfound tools and getting their accuracy and speed up to the point she wanted she dressed in her best attire. She had gone sparingly into town, preferring to stay in her house and train or train in her backyard. However, she had waiting for this day, and as such wanted to look her best and the most presentable. Now that she was sixteen, she would go request her Genin status to be reinstated. Her outfit was a rich red, the pants had slits on each side and her top looked like it had been inspired by an oriental influence. A simple black sash hugged her waist and her tail and feet-hands were both exposed for all to see. She would not shrink away and hide anymore, this was who she was and she would prove to everyone who thought it was a weakness wrong. In her neglect her hair had grown long, and was no longer a shaggy boy cut, but long enough to read mid-way down her back. She had pulled up the snow-white locks into a ponytail and with each step she took it swayed back and forth. Soon enough she was at the main Ninja branch, where ninjas were assigned missions and also other important tasks. Walking up to the front Desk her gold eyes met the receptionist. “I don’t have an appointment, but I want my Genin Status reappointed” using her tail she tossed her old headband and certifications to the lady who seemed taken aback by the tail. With a smirk she realized how much her appearance threw people off and it amused her her to no end. It took the poor secretary a few moments to recover and look over her papers “Uhm Miss… Saru? This license was issued three years ago, I can’t just recertify since the requirements for Genin status change yearly. You’ll have to retake the test… the next test is scheduled… For three months from now. “ The woman smiled then but kept Saru’s old papers and Headband. Annoyed Saru scowled “Look lady, I’ve been working my a** off since I was ten years old, I’ve been certified before and I can guarantee you whatever your stupid test is like now I can pass it again. “ With a grin she leaned forward and watched as the lady drew back and flinched “Now go get an instructor so I can get assigned to a damn team!” The woman nodded and got up, stumbling away in an obvious attempt to put some space between her self and the crazy lady with a tail. Laughing out loud Saru couldn’t believe that the lady actually believed she was that crazy. Standing up she watched as a lady with some Upper ranking Nin approached again, pointing at her then showing him her papers. He nodded and walked up to Saru. “So I hear you’re not patient enough to wait to get your status reinstated” He looked her up and down, obviously sizing her up as a Ninja. “If you want, I could approve you, but you have to give me a reason why I should. After all, you did come here and threaten the poor secretary.” With a Grin Saru tilted her head “Why shouldn’t you?” She retorted back “I obviously have passed the test before, and I’m here showing that I want to become a Genin, which is more than some students can say” The man rubbed his beard thoughtfully with a grin “Well I don’t have the time to formally test, you… But I liked your answer. However I do have one question. Think of it as a test. If you get it, you pass. If you don’t, you have to wait the three months to take the test formally.” Saru knew this man would be breaking a lot of rules with this proposition, but she also understood that by proposing this he was confident in this question that she wouldn’t be able to answer. “Sounds good to me, what’s the question” “I am the beginning of the end, and the end of time and space. I am essential to creation, and I surround every place. What am I?” The man answered adjusting his own Hitae-ate on his head, a sly grin on his face. Saru frowned and put her hand to her chin. A riddle hmm? Saru liked to think that she was intelligent enough to solve something as simple as this. She watched the mans expression as he watched her, “I don’t have long now, you better hurry up with that answer otherwise I’m just gonna say you don’t know.” Looking to her hand she thought about the question itself. Usually riddles were not the obvious answer. Thinking about the words themselves Saru looked back up with a grin “It’s E…. The letter E.” The man looked taken aback and scratched the back of his head, before tossing her own Hitae-ate to her. Taking the paper her stamped it with a large Reapproved sign and his signature, and tossed that to Saru as well. “You’re smart, This time you better show up to your squad.” The lady looked up to Saru and with a mutter said “You’re new team assignments will be assigned within the next few weeks, “ Nodding she said “Have a nice day” With that Saru grinned, turning foot and took a step outside. She was Finally ready to get the real training started so she could prove to her mother who she knew was watching her from heaven, and to her father and family that had abandoned her in the first place, that she was not a monster to be hidden, but rather a strong shinobi whom they would regret disposing of. 224 Lines / xx

Cloud academy
Walking into the academy for his first day, Ryo would hold his head high and a giant smile as he walked through the door and took a seat. Ryo was a bit early so he would just kind of keep to himself and take a look around the room noticing all the other students, some were talking, some were throwing paper at each other. Ryo would just continue to sit as he waited for the teacher to come in. After what would seem like forever the teacher would finally come waltzing in casually with a satchel draped across his shoulders. “Good morning class, I will be your teacher Shinshin.” He would call out across the room with a polite welcoming smile. “I expect everyone to have a good time while they are here and put their best foot forward in their progression.” The teacher would continue to say. Ryo would just sit there watching intently trying to take in everything that the teacher was informing him. The first day would go on and on and finally they would get released for lunch. Going outside Ryo would take his lunch out under a tree and look around, seeing the different kids running about and eating he would just look up through the leaves of the tree and watch the rays of sun come down. The bell would ring and everyone would pour back into the classroom, taking their seats the teacher would once again come strolling in with his satchel just draped.
“Ok class we are going to go around and introduce each other so that we can get to know everyone here. This is going to be a long class so might as well make as many friends as possible.” The teacher would take a seat behind his desk and all the kids would start going down the line introducing themselves to one another and telling a little about who they are and everything. It would come to Ryo and so he would stand up and announce to all the class “The name is Ryokai and there is no need for my last name as I do not care about any of you. I have things that I like and things that I don’t like. One of the things that I do like is being left alone, so please do me a favor and just leave me alone.” With that Ryo would sit back down and hope that he wouldn’t have caused to big a stir. It wasn’t anything personal it was just that he really didn’t see spilling his guts out to the rest of the kids when after this class was over and they graduated they would all be divided up into their own respective teams and go to live their lives and probably not see each other again. Plus in the shinobi world death is always out there so it is better not to tie yourself to those that won’t make it and judging by those in this class, there would be a lot that wouldn’t make it.
The day in and day out of class was the normal, come in and get lectured by the teacher and go over different types of ninja, and different formations and the benefits of how each and every member could strengthen a team. Of course nothing would prepare them then actually going out in the real world and finding out the experience for himself. The whole uchiha clan was a proud clan, each and every member strived for greatness and they wanted power, it was a curse that each and everyone shared. It made making friends hard but Ryo was going to try to overcome that. There was a kid that graduate in the class before him just due to when they signed up he got in just right before him but Ryo was looking at him as a rival and wanted to get out of this academy so that he could catch up to him and have a spar to see how getting out of the academy has done for both of them. Ryo would spend his weeks being quiet, just showing up to the school to learn and take notes and then to just go home and practice late into the night trying to perfect his skills. Pretty soon it was half way through the school term, they had learned a lot from the teacher and some kids that just weren’t picking up on the jutsu or the tactics were sent to restart with the next class. Ryo seemed to be picking up on everything but it didn’t come that easily for him. All his hard work after class, going home and staying up late was paying off for him and he knew that as long as kept it up he would have no problem passing.

Ryo would just go over in his head all the training that he had been doing, the finals for graduation were not all that far away, only a few months left and so Ryo had to be on the top of his game. He would recall the first thing that they ever learnt in class was the act of tree climbing. The class would take a trip out to the woodline and at the marked tree’s they would practice building up the chakra in their feet and using that to grip to the tree and run up it. Ryo would do alright at this during the class, but when he got home he would take little pellets of paint and see how far he could run up the tree, once reaching his limit he would throw the pellet against the tree to mark how high he could get. He wanted to keep track of his progress and also to keep track of a goal. Trying to run up a tree in the middle of the night would have its own challenges but with strategically placed torches it would give off enough light so that Ryo could continue on practicing.
The second thing that they were taught was the act of walking on water. This one would prove a lot more tricky, even though it involved the same technique of building up chakra in the bottom of the feet it would be a lot tougher since the ninja would be on a moving surface do trying to control one’s chakra would prove to be a lot more tasking on the mind and body. The whole class would go out to the nearest moving stream and 5 at a time would take turns building up there chakra and walking out on the water. With the current flowing and building up at the bottom of Ryo’s feet he would step out onto the water. At first things were fine but with others would fall in the water and create more waves making it more difficult to control. Some of the other kids couldn’t even take the first step out on the stream, for the teacher this would prove to be very amuzing. Later in the day after class Ryo could be found at the local pond trying to walk across the water making his way from one end to the other. On top of all that he would still continue to work on his tree climbing at night by the light of torches.
The third thing that they would learn is the transformation jutsu which would allow them to transform their body into some else to help them fool their opponent or to help them sneak in and get something. That jutsu Ryo would find pretty easy, as he would be able to practice that one along with practicing the walking on the water or the tree climbing technique. And pretty soon Ryo would be able to transform into a few different small things, but nothing too difficult. And Lastly they would teach the young future ninja’s about how the substitution jutsu would work out. This would be a lot harder to get a firm grasp on. The teacher would get much delight in taking rocks and throwing them at the students to see if they could use the jutsu to get out of the way in time. If not then they would be hit with a rock and the teacher would burst out with laughter. Of course all these techniques that the teacher would be going over with everyone wouldn’t really mean that they were masters of them by far, the teacher was just implanting the jutsu into the young students minds so that they have something to look forward to for when they get placed in their own teams and can then fully learn these said jutsu from their leaders.

The final exams would be a written test and then it would be also a physical test to see what all they have learned over the semester. If all the young ninja would pass then that would mean that they would get their headband and then they would be able to join a team and then to fully understand the jutsu. Ryo just couldn’t wait to have more freedom. He couldn’t wait to see what it was like to be in real life or death situations and he surely did want to meet some new people that weren’t so young and their minds could comprehend greater things. Ryo still didn’t know what his ultimate goal was. He knew that he didn’t want to be a Kage or anything like that. That was just too much power and responsibility for him to have, he just thought about being a free spirit that could travel from place to place to read books and help out if needed. But to always call the Cloud his home. He wanted to stay near his family but also wanted to see what the world had to offer, maybe he would meet a girl one day and settle down. Noone ever knows what the future holds but the only way to find out is to live your life.
There was only one month left and Ryo was starting to really feel the pressure, there had been a good little bit that were recycled to the next class that had already started and he was bound more than ever to not get recycled, but with all the test and studying that he was having to do he would wonder if he had what it took to get passed the Academy and then to make it to a squad. One day after class he would walk home and talk to his father, “Dad, I am a little worried that all this testing and studying is putting too much strain on my body and I am not going to be able to handle much more let alone the test at the end that are going to determine wether or not I pass the academy. I just don’t want to do anything to let you or the clan down. We already have a bad name to everyone that hears Uchiha.” Ryo would look a little concerned but his father would place his hand on his shoulders and just tell him “ Son there is nothing to worry about, as long as you do your best then you should be fine. Don’t let the small things worry you.” With that Ryo and his father would just sit back and enjoy the evening air rushing by them. “You know son, one of these days I won’t be here and it is going to be up to you to carry on the family honor” Ryo’s dad would say with a smile.
The final days would be upon the class and testing would take all day long. It would be hard but Ryo would just think to himself on the words of his father and not let anything bother him, taking a deep breath he would go in with a positive attitude and take his written test, answering all the questions on who the past Kages where and the formations that they used and everything under the sun. Then they would move on to the jutsu part of the test and Ryo would be in a room alone with the Teacher which would actually help him to concentrate more. The teacher would call out the jutsu that he wanted to see and Ryo would have to perform that jutsu. In the room were a pool of water and you would have to use the wall to demonstrate the tree climb technique. The end of the day would finally come and everyone would be handed pieces of paper on their way out the door which would say wether or not that they passed. Ryo would rush home to meet his father so that he could be a part of his accomplishment or apart of his failure. Being with his father, Ryo would open the envelope and it would be a big relief as he had passed the academy, not with flying colors but passing is passing. Ryo’s father would congratulate him and they would be off for a well deserved dinner.

Kohonagakure Training Academy Shin yawned as he showed up to the training academy after sleeping in like he did every other morning he had something important to do. "So this is where I have to start my training? Bleh I wish it was on my own time, I prefer to train that way." He let out a heavy sigh as he looked at the weather as he walked towards the academy, it was a nice and perfect day for training, or as he would rather it sleep. There wasn’t a single cloud in sight in the sky, while the sun beamed his ray’s downs towards the earth. He looked at the big door as he reached the academy. "Alright so let me start my training then." With the said he let out another heavy sigh as he began to open the door to the place. Once he opened it up he looked around on the inside. He didn’t see anyone but he did see that there was a bunch of markings all over the room showing that there had been people that where training in this room recently. "Looks like I’m not the only one who’s been told to train here." Before walking into the dojo any farther he bended over taking off his shoes and leaving them at the door. It was something he felt he always had to do was leave his shoes at the entrance so that way he didn’t leave any dirty marks with his shoes on the floor since he felt it would be disrespectful. He walked in closing the door behind him; he looked around the room until he noticed a table at the back side of the room with a note on top of it. He walked towards the table and picked up the note and began to read it. The note said the fallowing: Welcome to our place of training new coming, I have read up on your personal file and I see that you like to use dual typed weapons. For whatever reason you have, I enjoy the thought so I would like you to push yourself farther within that training so become the strongest you can by mastering the dual arts of kenjutsu. Once you have done the basics of so in this room you may come to Kohona and start your real training as a Genin. Until then train using the two swords that are on the wall behind this table. You shall be tested the moment you pick them up, however I see that you should be able to pull it off, ether way good luck! Shin looked at the note like as if a crazy man had wrote the note and shook his head as he tossed the note aside. He then looked up at the two swords that where on the back of the wall as the note had mentioned. But the moment he looked he felt an unreasonable reason to shout. "WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THIS PLACE! HOW THE HELL IS THIS SYMETRICAL? THEY BOTH HAVE THE HANDLE POINTED TO THE RIGHT. ONE SHOULD BE POINTED TO THE RIGHT WHILE THE OTHER IS POINTED TO THE LEFT!" He said with a rather loud and annoyed voice, he picked one up with the intention to fix the problem he saw in front of him. But before he could place it back on the weapon rack he saw a kunai come flying from the corner of his view. With his natural reflexes he had always had he grabbed the other sword by the sheathed and jumped back then to the left as he slid on the floor and came to look at four people standing there looking at him. He looked at the four with a determined look then he noticed the four attackers still had their shoes on and his determined look disappeared and now he was enrage. “WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS! YOU ARE WEARING SHOES IN A DOJO? DIDN’T ANYONE TEACH YOU RESPECT?! YOU MUST ALWAYS TAKE OFF YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU ENTER A DOJO!” He quickly snapped his hand flinging the swords up causing them to do a full spin in the air. He grabbed the handle of both swords, each with separate hand. He then flick his hands forward sending the two seethes forward and hitting the two guys in the back. Shin leaned forward and launched himself towards the guys that stood in front of him. Once he got close he swung the sword in his right hand across just missing the two as they jumped back away from him once he got close. He didn’t stop he continued to run now towards the guys. They continued to jump back at every swing he attempted to land on the guys he was trying to hit. Once they had reached the end of the room with their backs up against the wall he grinned as he swung the sword in his left hand, the man jumped over Shins head and began to run to the far end of the room. Shin simply smiled as he ran up the wall and did a back flip landing on his feet. He turned to look at the men there stood there looking at the kid with a mixed look in their eyes, filled with both fear and determination. They had the determination to hold out the mission they were given but they also had the fear that this mere kid would kill them, they didn’t know why or how but when they looked him in the eyes they saw nothing but evil pure evil. “So you guys going to fight back? Or do I keep swinging at air?” Shin chuckled as his personality had taken a shift since he began to swing the swords around. One of the guys chuckled as they ran towards shin pulling out two kunai. As the man began to take out the kunai Shin took his moment of attack and in a split second had disappeared and then reappeared behind the man with both of the swords dripping in blood. He looked up at the three guys that now stood in front of him. The man that was behind him yelled out in agony as he dropped to the ground as blood began to spew out of him. The three guys looked at their friend then back up to Shin and all the determination they had had disappeared now all that was left in their eyes where fear. One of the guys that where behind the other two ran at Shin with a yell as he took one of his kunais and went to swing at Shin with it. Shin easily stepped back dodging the swing. Once the guy had made his swing Shin stepped forward and brought the sword in his right hand began to swing upwards, it slid along the ground and then came up cutting through the guy’s chest as he yelled out in pain. The man fell to the ground as he continued to scream in agony. Shin looked at the two remaining; he let out a soft chuckle as he pointed the sword in his right hand at the two remaining guys. “Let’s finish this; I would rather enjoy going home and sleeping.” The two guys looked at each other then back at shin then back to each other. The one that was closer to shin patted the other guy and pointed at shin. Shin assumed this guy was the leader for oblivious reasons. He then came to notice something he didn’t notice sooner. The man had a sword himself, it was on his back but hidden within his clothes and what gave it away was the hilt popping out right behind the man’s head. Shin smiled and thought to himself. ‘Maybe I will have an actual sword fight that will last longer than a few seconds.’ The thought made him extremely happy, he needed to know if this guy could give himself a challenge. Shin hadn’t had a real fight in a while and it now excited him beyond belief that he might have a challenge for once in a long time. Shins attention came back to the battle at hand as the one guy that was told to come at shin made his move. He quickly swung out three shuriken at Shin which then was followed up with him jumping up and throwing two kunai at Shin. Shin grinned as someone actually did more than a simple run and swing. In response to the shuriken he took the sword in his left hand and spun the sword and knocked all three out of the air with the dull side of the blade. He then spun it back around, making sure not to damage the sharpened side. He then looked up as the two kunai came down while the guy was still in midair. Shin took both of the swords and spun them around to the dull side of the blade again, he jumped into the air and swung both taking both of the kunai out of the air with the dull sides of the blades. He spun them back around. He then swung both up and into the chest of the guy. As they came back down he pulled both back out and kicked the guy down to the ground and smiled as he looked at the final remaining guy. Shin smiled as he held both of the blades out at both sides as blood dripped down the blade and onto the ground. “Normally I don’t dirty any blades with people that aren’t worth it, but since you guys don’t have respect for the dojo, guess I just had to do it eh?” He chuckled as the other man began to draw his sword. Normally Shin could have just attacked within that split second of weaken defense however, Shin wanted to find himself a challenge and this guy might just be strong enough to give him a challenge. Both of them looked at each other waiting for each other to make the first move, however it seemed nether would. They stood there for roughly five to ten minutes waiting for a move to be made. But just as it seemed nether would a leaf came in threw one of the opened windows and floated down in front of both of them and they both lowered their heads so they could only see their opponent. The moment the leaf had touched the ground both had jumped at each other and began to clash at each other in a sword battle. The man swung his sword up while Shin swung down, both meeting with a bang of metal. This particular sound is what drove Shin to fight with swords; every time he heard that sound a shiver crept down his spine and would cause him to thrive for me. So the battle continued onwards as they kept clashing every swing both would attempt to take at each other. After a long battle of clashing weapons both jumped backwards breathing a bit heavily as they looked at each other pondering what move would be made next. They both stood there waiting for a moment before they both jumped again as they clashed again causing more shivers to be sent down his spine. He chuckled, the one reason he would always win his fights is the more shivers that would be sent down his spire the more crazily he would become and stronger. He was one that if you fought in battle you had to make sure to end quickly or he would win in the end. They both began to use the entire area to do their fight. Shin ran up one of the walls and jumped up and began to spin towards the other guy with his swords in hand. The other man looked at Shin not sure where to suspect the attack from, so he went to black his upper body from an attack. However Shin grinned as he swung his sword slashing at the guy right thigh causing the other man to stumble backwards as he let out a scream of pain. Shin quickly flipped putting both of his feet on the man’s chest and pushed himself backwards with a back flip and landed on his feet as he looked at the guy and shook his head. “Let’s finish this shall we? After I kill you I gotta clean this place up, I wouldn’t like to leave this place a mess. Where’s the respect in that? You don’t have enough respect to take off your own damn shoes off.” They both stood there for a few minutes before they jumped at each other and both took a swing at each other. Both of them landed and stood there for a second before a cut appeared on Shins left arm. “Well damn look at that, you ruined a perfectly fine suit.” The other man smirked before falling over as his stomach began to pump blood out. Shin let out a heavy sigh as he began to quickly clean the blade of any blood with a cloth that was under the sword rack. After he cleaned them he put them back with the original attempt he had done. Once he was done that he smiled as they now looked symmetrical. After he was done that he sighed as he began to drag the bodies outside and throwing them to the side of the path heading into the dojo. Once he was done with the bodies he began to quickly clean up all and any blood that was on the floor. He disliked the thought of leaving the place a mess. Once he was done with everything he quickly threw his shoes on and left heading off to find himself the Hokage.

Rain country RP The sun peaks out from beyond the clouds almost as if by the clouds design as they roll lazily across the sky. The wind blows through the forest, swirling unseen as it lifts and shakes leaves off their branches and carries them off to unknown locations. In the center of the forest is a clearing where a small man is resting, hands behind his head with his face tilted skyward. The sun shines through the gaps once more and falls upon his face causing his eyes to twitch and the man begins to stir. Just as quickly the sun hides behind the cloud again almost as if fearing what was to come next. The rain started then, with no warning and no hesitation. The leaves lifted in the rain were dragged to the ground and plastered beneath the might of the torrential downpour that had been nothing but calm winds and sunny days moments before. The man sighs and begins to stand as he hears a voice calling, no doubt to him, off in the distance “Hakare! Hakare where are you” The womanly voice begins with a touch of worry “It’s raining and you are late for academy, you better not be napping again or I’ll…I’ll…” The woman attempts to cover her worry with a hint of anger. As Hakare finishes his after nap stretching he begins to set off towards to the forest in the direction the voice came from. “Morianne why must you always be so worried, it’s not as if I’m still a child” Hakare said a small smile drawn playfully across his lips as walked up next to his friend. “You and I both know that wasn’t the case when I found you out here in the woods before” Morianne scoffed as she puts her hands on her hips and pouted “I remember back then you were always so frightened, you would even cry out at the rustling of leaves out here. Let alone having anyone come near you.” She smiled and walked closer in order to wrap her arms around Hakare and hug him tightly “I always worry that one day I won’t be there to protect you, then what will you do.” Morianne held onto the small man and awaited his response “I guess that’s why I just have to get stronger than you are so I can be the one doing the protecting” Hakare smiled as he hugged the woman tightly before hearing a noise that carried over the beating of the rain. Hakare froze, unable to move as the rain began to swirl and colors merged in his field of vision as he fell backwards finally coalescing into nothing but black as he fell to the ground. Flash backs, I do love me some flashbacks wink The rain poured down all around the heavy hollowed tree that housed a shivering young child, wrapped only in tattered clothing. Tears began to form as the child heard the howls of the wolves nearby, and began to flow freely as they were cut short by something even more fearsome. The forest grew quiet, as quiet as it could be with the rain beating as hard as it was. Hakare heard the trees begin to snap and fall to the ground as footsteps echoed coming ever closer. The trees seemed to fall in a slow, methodical pattern as they came closer. It was almost as if whatever was outside knew where he was and just wanted to let his mind wander to the possibilities of what were to come. Hakare drew his legs up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them, rocking back and forth as he cried. The lighting crackled and illuminated the area outside where he hid revealing nothing but the forest beyond. When the light had been subdued once again by the darkness is when it appeared. Eyes were the first to appear, eyes that shined blue beyond reason, filled with malice and insatiable aggression. Slowly a mouth opened into a grim smile, misshapen teeth stained red with the fresh blood of what could only have been the wolves he had heard earlier. Slowly the beast made it’s way towards Hakare when the lightning flashed once again and everything faded from his vision. Hakare awoke the next morning to the sounds of animals scurrying about attempting to gather materials for their nest before the next rain fall, and birds singing joyfully to the new day. Looking down he saw imprints left upon his legs it was almost as if the creature had attempted to break his legs so that he would be unable to flee. Hakare shuddered at the thought of what he would become should the monster ever do more than toy with him. It had been like this as long as he could remember, the days were filled with the joyful sounds of animals, but when night fell everything changed. The beast came out only at night, and only to feed or in his case, to toy with Hakare. For what reason the beast did not consume him Hakare did not know. He only knew that sooner or later the beast would tire of his game and that would be when his end was decided. Hakare knew that before this game of cat and mouse were to end he needed to become strong enough to survive. Nothing was going to stop him, of that he was certain. His mother had put her faith him when she passed on her ribbon. Hakare drew the ribbon close to himself as he smiled and reminisced about what she could have been like. Coming back to reality Hakare hurriedly tied his hair back with the ribbon and set out for the river. “I only hope I am not too late to hunt before the bears have come out” Hakare said to himself as he made his way towards his hunting grounds. Upon arriving at the river Hakare was pleased to note that the fish were still jumping from the river with no bears in sight. Slowly Hakare let his bone merge from his arm and extend out through his fist becoming a spear, how he was able to this he did not know, he only knew that it was something he required to survive and as such planned on utilizing to his full advantage. With his spear set and ready Hakare proceeded to wade out to the river and thrust his spear into the waters. After a half an hour his arm felt as though it would fall off so Hakare took the few fish he had managed to gather and waded back to the shore where he lay down on the grass to rest and catch his breath. As he was about to get to his feet and proceed to his hollowed tree home Hakare heard a rustling of the leaves as dried and wet debris snapped beneath the weight of something moving through the woods, Hakare froze in fear of what it could be. After mustering his courage and telling himself there was no way it could be out in the day Hakare rose and turned to face whatever was there. He found himself staring down a bear, A small bear only a size and a half bigger than he was but a bear nonetheless. Hakare let his bones creep out through both his fists stopping them before they got too long to wield. Hakare noted that the bear was now staring not at him, but at his catch ”what luck, he doesn’t even think I’m worth thinking about when there are fish here” Hakare intoned as he let a slow breath escape from his lips. When his breath had been expelled Hakare charged at the bear and batted at its’ face. This caused the bear to rise up on its back legs and roar in anger before letting out a swipe of his paw in Hakares’ direction. “Poor decision Mr. Bear” Hakare mocked as he ducked below the bears swing and drove each of his fists reinforced with his bone daggers into the legs of the bear. The bear let out yet another roar as it reeled from the pain and fell to its’ back. In an instant Hakare was on top of the bear carefully placing blows to the bear in areas that would allow him to use the bear fur to keep warm. When his task was finished the bear lay motionless and Hakare breathed heavily, as he let his bones recede into their rightful place once more Hakare noticed that he had become covered in blood. After noticing this Hakare decided to undergo his bloody task and skin the bear pelt since he was already covered in blood. Once finished Hakare dragged the bear pelt to a nearby rock and draped it over the rock to dry before plunging into the river and washing the blood off. When he was finished hakare returned to his bear pelt and found it dry enough to wrap about himself. With his new fur wrapped tightly around himself Hakare proceeded to gather his food for the day and returned to his tree where he ate them raw. It took a while for Hakare to become accustomed to the taste of raw animal, but he had to do it in order to survive. There were never enough dry materials in the woods to craft a manageable fire. Hakare ate until he was full and then lay back against the inside of the tree and wrapped himself in his fur to rest. It had been a good day, Hakare noted that he had become stronger in the time he had spent alone in the forest. Strong enough to take out a bear, maybe even strong enough to take out whatever hunted in the night. When Hakare awoke night was almost upon the forest and so he set about making preparations for his confrontation with the beast. “Tonight will be our final encounter” He said to himself as he flexed his fingers making sure they were able to move freely. After he had limbered up Hakare began deciding how he wanted to confront his enemy. “the best would be a surprise attack I suppose” Hakare said to himself thoughtfully as he found a log and swathed his tattered remnants of clothing around it before nestling it into his spot inside the hollowed tree. With nothing but his bear pelt wrapped around himself, Hakare proceeded to climb a nearby tree and wait as night began to fall. Time passed slowly as he lay in wait, but eventually the beast made its way towards his trap. When he was within reach Hakare silently leapt from his tree and clasped his hands together letting a single bone spike grow from them as he swing his fists towards the back of the beasts head. His hands collided with a solid thunk as he landed atop the creature, however much to his dismay the beast shrugged off the blow and threw him to the ground. The creature turned to face him and smiled that dreadful smile, its eyes looking ready to kill as it made its way closer. Hakare put his arms defensively in front of his face and closed his eyes expecting the worst, but nothing ever came. After a while Hakare opened his eyes and looked around, in front of him he saw the beast laying dead on the ground with a girl not much older than himself standing near it smiling “That thing wasn’t so much of a problem” The girl exclaimed as she trotted over to him and crouched down “are ya okay now little boy? Or are you still scared of the things that go bump in the night” She said as she giggled. Hakare scurried away from her and took refuge inside his hollowed tree. The girl looked quite saddened by this and turned to walk away “Wait!” Hakare yelled the girl stopped and turned to face him “Thank you” Hakare mumbled as she smiled and walked away. The girl disappeared into the thick of the forest, but whenever he was in trouble she always managed to find him and protect him. Flash back end, for now razz Hakares’ eyes opened slowly, revealing the yellow cat-like feature of his irises. Staring blankly towards the sky he became aware of her presence near him. When she noticed that he had awoken Morianne scooped Hakare up in her arms and held him tightly “don’t scare me like that you silly boy” She said holding back tears “It’s okay, I think I’ll be alright now. I remembered the first time we met” Hakare said as he smiled softly and wrapped his arms around Morianne “you were always such a good protector.” After a few moments Hakare realized that he had closed his eyes during the embrace, when he opened them Morianne was gone “More important business, as usual” Hakare said as he shook his head and made his way towards the village academy. Upon arriving at the academy Hakare noted the disapproving glare of his instructor that seemed to be a permanent fixture whenever he was around. “You are late again, lollygagging in the woods as usual I’m guessing” The instructor said his scowl never decreasing in the slightest “You know that if you actually applied yourself you would be able to make it out of here in no time, why is it that you continue to hold yourself back?” The instructor questioned angrily. “Well if I did that I wouldn’t get to see your bright and smiling face all the time now would I Deshina-sensei” Hakare mocked as he smiled politely “also I would have burdens placed on me to such an extent that I wouldn’t be able to do what I wanted and be in my beloved forest with my dear Morianne” Hakare finished noting as always how angry his instructor became at the mention of his dear friend. “Morianne, Morianne, Morianne. You always speak of this friend but yet I’ve never even seen her” Deshina exclaimed in anger “You can’t just be nice with students your own age now can you” Deshina finished and threw his hands in the air as his sign of giving up “Just hurry up and get into class” Hakare was always pleased when he mentioned Morianne and no one knew who he was speaking of, it meant that she was a great ninja. Someone who he could look up to, someone so good that she could sneak into his classes and give him advice whenever he was at a loss during his current tests. Hakare took up his seat at the back of the classroom near the corner, the same seat he always took. His choice of seating allowed Morianne to have an easier time of helping him when he was in class because no one ever looked in the corner at the back. Hakare guessed that was how she avoided detection after all this time, that and he great abilities as a ninja. Hakare smiled as he remembered her standing over the body of his greatest enemy and smiling at him. ”She really is amazing, my greatest friend, and protector” Hakare smiled deep in thought. So deep was he in his own thoughts that he didn’t realize that he had been called upon by the instructor to stand and answer a question. “Hakare, are you going to just sit there with that dumb smile on your face or are you going to answer my question?” Deshina said his scowl still everpresent upon his sour face “Or maybe even you don’t know the answer to such a basic question” The class laughed at this statement and Hakare stood attempting to gather his bearings enough to think of what kind of question had been asked. As he stood there a whisper came from the dark corner of the class room “This is the rain academy you silly boy, how could you not even know that. Maybe you should pay more attention in class. That way we could go on missions together, wouldn’t that be fun” Moriannes’ voice carried soft enough that only he could hear her. Hakare answered his instructor with the information given to him by Morianne and noted with satisfaction that his scowl deepened “I guess even you get lucky now and again” Deshina said as he returned to his lectures. “Morianne I thought you were busy today, isn’t that why you left the forest in such a hurry?” Hakare questioned, but was met with nothing but silence. As he turned to check the corner he noticed that there was no one there ”She always leaves so suddenly, but at least she saved me again today” Hakare sighed mentally and began to follow her instructions about paying attention in class. After actually applying himself it didn’t take too long before Hakare was given the opportunity to graduate from his lowly position of academy student to a slightly less demeaning position of a genin. Since his friend had told him to pay attention in class Hakare was always on time and actually paid attention, he still didn’t associate with the other kids in his class. He found them to be less than comparable to Morianne and as such didn’t want anything to do with them. When the day finally arrived to take his test Hakare felt that he was more than prepared. The instructor stood at the front of the room and gave out his directions “for your final test you will be required to spar with me” Deshina smiled as he stood at the head of the class and called each of the prospective students forward starting with the front of the class. When it was finally his turn Hakare noted that his instructor hadn’t even broken a sweat. “Looks like a good bunch of students this year not even making you tire a little bit” Hakare smiled coyly as he approached his instructor “guess we will have to do something to change that around a bit. Nothing is more boring than a final test without a challenge” Hakare finished as he let his bone grow from his hand to the length of a sword. Gasps washed over everyone in the classroom and his instructor smiled “I knew there was something different about you, this should entertaining” Deshina said as he drew a wooden sword from his desk and readied himself. Hakare charged forward and as he was about to slash with his sword darted to the left watching to see if his feint worked. It did and as Deshina readied his defense for the feint Hakare drew his sword up to his teachers throat “My win” Hakare whispered into his instructors ear before retracting his sword and taking up his seat at the back of the class. When his instructor had regained his composure he dismissed the class and walked to Hakare “if you were always at a level that high why bother staying in the academy” Deshina questioned. “I’m not all that strong, but I’m smart enough to know to take advantage of an opening. If I had attacked you, more than likely you wouldn’t have felt anything” Hakare admitted to his instructor who smiled for once and handed him a headband “congratulations on graduating” Deshina said as he ushered Hakare out of the classroom. 170 lines by my counting.

Lunch time. Valem began to work his way towards the cafe on the corner upon leaving the study where he'd been preparing for his exams, and was not able to fight back the hunger any longer. It would only take Valem about a minute to find a empty table that was in the back corner of the room. Valem would pick the table since it would allow him to sit with his back to the wall while at the same time offering a wonderful view of the incoming students. Valem would only have to wait a minute before he would then have a waiter come to the table and take his order. Valem would then shuffle through his pack and pull from it a rather odd looking book. There was no titled listed on it, and its pages appeared to be made of hide as opposed to paper, its writing in a thick ink, a measure to endure the harsh desert sandstorms. Paper would shred away but hide endured.. As Valem settled at the table he would have the book in left hand. A few minutes would pass before the waiter returned with the largest bowl of Ramen that Valem's eyes have seen in a while. The Ramen was accompanied with a glass of water that he ordered as well. Valem would then make himself confertable as he began eating and drinking while begining to sort through his entires in the book. Journal Entry #182: While I suppose any idea concieved in the heat of battle seems good at the time of its conception, I can now admit it was a fool idea truly, bringing the corpse of a ninja to the Academy slung over my shoulder, even if it did earn me a rite of entry. Frankly speaking, all it truly did was give suspicions from the moment of my arrival here; and unless I make an effort to show that I truly am capable of learning and some some savage out of the desert, I doubt I'll ever become trusted as a ninja, or work my way into the ranks to know just who wanted that 'message' sent our way. I have detailed my journey through the desert on my maps in order to track my way back if needed. I expect I can make it home with a warning in half the time it took to find my way here with a rotten corpsed strapped to my back; though I would not place bets on it, from what I've seen in the advanced training rooms. That warning was inexperienced by my guess, likely sent because we were not expected to be much trouble. Or perhaps they were just off on their own trying to prove themselves. Whatever the reason, there are things we never imagined, and the Sharingan I stole from that ninja was only the beginning of waking up to this world. Chakra flows still don't quite register, I'm not used to seeing them, let alone knowing what they're supposed to mean or what to look for. It's like seeing a rainstorm, you know the rain is there but it's impossible to calculate just what each drop plans to, or could, do. But I've managed to at least guage sources of power, and how much power is being put out compared to my own. That noted, there are a great many deal stronger people out there, though strength has little to do with tactics or skill. My swordsmanship, the art of kenjutsu, may be frowned upon as a savage technique, but the art of the blade is my strength, and so I will use it to gain influence and respect. I will be diplomatic, I will strive to learn what they are willing to teach me, but I will not be a dog to be ordered about. As Valem would finially reviewing the entry, he would also find that he would only have maybe one more bite of ramen and at best half a sip of water in the glass that came with the ramen. Correcting this error, he would wolf down the remaining portions. Valem 's stomach would begin to feel much better since rather than the empty feeling that it so often had, it would find itself with a feeling of being full and causing Valem to begin to have a smile upon his face that was unlike anything that most the people that knew him had ever seen. Valem would then casually begin to raise his hand and flag down the waiter. Waiting patiently wait for the waiter to work his way across the room to his table, Valem would then simply say, "I would like the check, please." The waiter would then slightly bow as he replied, "Very well, sir." The waiter would speak in almost a mocking tone, then quickly raise from the bow and turn and head off from the table. Valem would the see the waiter making his way to a booth at the corner of the counter and begin to punch upon it a number of times causing it to start to spit out three different series of papers then the waiter would grap the papers and begin to work his way around the room to the tables and place upon them the proper set of paper for them. The waiter did not just leave once the bill was give to the person, he would stand there and wait to recieve the money to pay for the meal, rather untrusting of the man Valem thought. Once the waiter would then finially make it back to Valem 's table he would then give hims the money required to pay for the meal. Valem would then watch as the waiter would then take off agian from his table once agian setting out on a much quicker path to the booth to get the change that would be required for each of the tables. Taking his change, Valem would leave a tip on the table before leaving the cafe and walking towards his dorm. After only a few short blocks at the quick pace a which Valem was travelling, it would only take him a little more than about a five minutes to reach the complex where he lifed in the Shinobi Academy. Valem would pause as he would then look upon the building that had been arranged for him to stay in while he would stay at the Academy. The Shinobi Academy was one of the best institutions for ninja training, and given he saught to recieve the best education in these arts so that he could truly set an example of what a ninja's honor looks like; defending without being asked but never forcing a defense onto an unwilling village via 'lessons'; he needed the best education that he could be offered. Once Valem had finished looking at the building that contained his dorm room, he would finially head into the two room appartment that was his home away from home. Valem would waste little time as he quickly set about the rooms while preforming his daily task to perpare himself for his afternoon training and then beable to attempt to take a quick nap before having to leave. 64 lines

Waking from his nap, Valem would quickly dress himself and grab his pack before rushing out the door and nearly bumping into two men loitering outside. "I'm freezing my a** off. All just so I can spend quality time with you, ya b*****d." the first of the two men would speak. He was sitting in nothing more than a tight fitting pair of denim jeans, a black vest with small, white, rectangular buttons down the front, and a short sleeved dark navy t-shirt; while the other was wearing enough clothes to be covered head to toe in anything that looked warm, The both of them appear to be smoking, a lot, and drinking, heavily. The parka-wrapped man would reach a hand down and grabs an unlabeled brown jug from on the ice covered ground which would cause his dark navy and white hat feathered cap; the brim upturned on the sides, the band being the only white portion and seeming to have an indentation as if more than just the feather had been stuffed into it at some point to fall out of the hat. The other male would catch it, without raising his head as the other man straightens up; mumbling an apology. "That all you came for, Doku?" The parka-man would ask as he raises the unlabeled jug into the air. He easily tips the jug and allows the brown substance to drain from the small hole at at the top of the bottle. He lowers the bottle as some of the substance tries to escape the jug and makes it to the narrow neck of the bottle before slowly beginning to freeze over. "Hoo," he huffs as he sighs, shifting his head to one side. He looks down at Doku with a smile only for Doku to frown at him. "Look here, Shizo. I came here to chat with you over a smoke. You know, like you offered when I left last time. What else would I be here for?" Doku would then raise his head. In one hand he'd have a cigarette which is almost to the point where smoking it any longer would result in it either breaking apart of the content slipping out. In the other, he would have a bottle with a label that had the symbol for poison on it. Doku raises the bottle to his lips and takes a long drink from it. He then sets the bottle onto the ground and wipes his lips dry.Once he sets the bottle down, the word Methyl is seen on the outside of the bottle on the label beside the poison symbol. What kind of get together could this be? Why would Doku be drinking such a deadly poison? Is he crazy? Well, given the severity of the poison he is drinking, was would be a better word than is. Valem would carefully crouth behind a barrel as the man named Shizo was handed the bottle next and would immediately take a swig from it, unaware of the slipped poison, and he would speak again, "Well, I remember me offering you to return and smoke with me again. It's just... after everything that has been happening, I just wonder." Things grow quiet as the man peers across the horizon, watching as the sun, hidden behind clouds, peeps out for an instant before being covered again. "I'm not here to cause trouble. I didn't the last time I came here." Doku would speak, his partner scoffing a bit under his breath before turning to look at him with wide eyes, the poison must have sunk in, and Doku finished "I'm here to finish a job. That's all kid. Sorry.", and Shizo would drop. Dead? Valem couldn't tell, but if he could get to Shizo he could check for a pulse. But there was Doku, if he was drunk Valem might have a chance. He would make no hesitation as a bone shot out of his wrist in the shape of a sword, his hand gripping it firmly, swinging at Doku from behind. Doku was apparently hightly tolerant of poisons, if not resistant enitrely, and that seemed to include alcohol, proven as he turns around grasping the bone blade and breaking it in half. "You want something, kid?" he would ask, glancing at the body to his feet which he gave a kick to turn it aside, "Because it's people like you that cause such turmoil in the world. A guy can't relax and have a smoke or a drink without some guy claiming he wants or needs to make a difference. Or worse, he feels the desire and need to protect too much and create groups like yours to defend. No ones definition of protect, right and wrong, or what is really for the best are different. And thus we have conflict. If you left, then more, and then more, there'd be less conflict. Do you get what I'm coming from?" Valem in fact did not get where this man was coming from, but he could understand drunken slurring. His body could still react on instinct buth is mind still was delayed. Valem could win, without a synconised mind and body a man was fightihg with half his potential! "Sheer strength cannot prevail. You will not poison me like you did your 'friend'. You are drunk, and I am not. There are too many factors regarding your inevitable defeat.", Valem would speak; but where had that come from? Probably the first unfiltered thing that came to mind, before remembering what the man was. A very very chilled out drunk. Taunting did not seem to have an immeidate effect, but the man would eventually swing the first punch, which Valem reacted to with a reinforced forearm, his bones hardening to steel as the punch deflected leaving the man with a row of unoticed bloody knuckles. Launching the bone out of his forearm again, the hard-as-steel bone blade was a true extension of himself, and would flow seemlessly across the man's arm, forcing him to withdraw back, his other hand now swinging a punch towards Valem. Wrong move. Valem sidestepped and lunged forward with his blade in the style of Parting of the Silk, a controlled precision slash directed at the abdomen. The blood was drawn and the man would let out a gurgle and haunch over. Without a healer to seal the wound, his stomach acids would slowly seep out and kill him, which was all Valem needed to take the unconcious body of Shizo and sling it over his shoulder, rushing to the nearest medical center. Twenty minutes later, the staff had collected Doku, and Shizo was being treated for Methyl poisoning. A medical officer would look to Valem and escort him out. Where were they going to take him? "You're done here." an instructor would state as he handed Valem an envolope, "We saw what you did. Saw an assassination in progress, waited for the right moment to strike, subdued the killer and got his attempted victim to medical help. You showed intelligence, made the right choice, and are ready to be filed into a team."Valem honestly had no clue what to say, opening the envelope to find his first paycheck and a ninja license. Hooray, a license to go about ninja'ing, was his first debated thought, but held the sarcasm in. He was here to uphold an honor to be displayed for all to see, to find those who would mock that honor, and silently cut them down, if not physically than mentally. "Thank you for this honor. I shall not disappoint you." was instead all he would say, as he bows to the instructor as he was taught to do. +74 lines New total 138 lines

When he found the Classroom he was assigned to, he took a deep breath, clearing his mind for what lies in the classroom. Sliding the door to the side, sounds played his eardrum as he noticed a couple kids in the front wrestling each other for fun. Ignoring the two, He headed to the back of the classroom and found an open seat. A lot of the kids were watching the two in front, but there were small groups throughout the classroom chatting between each other. he felt a couple of the kids look at him, but didnt pay any attention as he wasn't in the mood to make friends at the second. he kind of just wanted to start class and get it over with; He wasn't the type to study in classes. in fact he would rather be out in the field doing hands on practicing. After a few moments of day dreaming about being a ninja, the teacher strolled into the class, looking rather energetic. She was tall, standing at about 5'9". Her hair was long, almost reaching her waist, and was a vibrant red color. On one side she had her bangs parted to the sides being held by a hair clip in the shape of a small Skull. She wore a white dress that reached down past her knees. on right side, the Cloud symbol wrapped around he waist, almost reaching to her back side. She wore plainly black shoes that covered her feet up to below the ankle. Her eyes and smile sparked with joy and happiness as she turned to face the class. All the students Quieted down and took their seats. Once everyone was seated and the class was quiet, the teacher spoke, saying "Good morning kids Today we are taking a small field trip to a field so we may practice our battling. Each of you will be paired up with another and are to spar on each other." Zeth face lit up as soon as he heard this. he couldn't believe that they were actually going to practice. " Also depending on how you perform for this you may graduate today. But if i catch you using any lethal moves and trying to break an arm, you will be disqualified and stay in class. is that understood?" The teacher continued. The kids all agreed and started chatting amongst themselves. this was a dream come true for Zeth. he was hoping that a day like this would come where he could finally test his fighting skills and get a chance to leave the academy. I wonder who I will be up against? Zeth thought as he got up with the rest of the class and followed the teacher. (22 lines)

They were on a path in the woods, where trees surrounded them in almost every direction. The ground was crowded with shrubberies and ferns, along with some grass in between. Roots also stuck out of the ground here and there, making the walkway a little rugged. Fingers of light pierced through the tree tops, covering the ground with spots of light. Ahead of them was what looked to be a clearing ahead of them, probably the training grounds that they were heading to.
When they reached the edge of the woods, the trees stopped abruptly and all you could see for a couple of miles was a vast plain that was mostly flat. In one section of the field was what looked like a small river bending in and out of the woods. When everyone was settled in a spot, the teacher clapped her hands together, grabbing everyone's attention. " OK everyone The pairings are as follows," Stated, listing of one after the other. The process took a couple of minutes due to the class being big. Eventually tho, she came down to the last pairing, which she paired zeth with a Kid named Wheels. When he heard his name, Zeth glanced around to see who he will be pairing with and met eyes with someone who rather looked hardened, looking more like he was about defense more than offense.
They moved to a little spot where they wouldn't bother others during their spar. Zeth was feeling awkward from the silence that grew between them, and said "I wish you luck, but I'm not gonna be holding back, just so you know." The boy snorted at at his words and said in a rude tone "Whatever you say, kid." The two readied themselves and when the teacher told them to start, Wheels charged in at him, trying to grab at him and force him into the ground Zeth made a seal as fast as he could, and managed to use a replacement jutsu to switch himself in time before wheels grabbed hold of him. with that he appeared from behind, coming out of the bushes, leaped trying to tackle him. Before making contact, Wheels realized What was going on, turned and saw zeth going for the tackle. in that instant he braced himself, aiming to grab zeth's shoulders, and twisted zeth clockwise to prevent him from gaining his grip on the ground. Zeth fell onto his back, feel a slight pain go up his spine. Before he could really get up, Wheels was readying a powerful punch aimed for his face. Reacting fast, he placed his hands onto the ground above his head, forced his lower body into a backwards roll which in turn acted as a kick, hitting Wheels Square in the face. Wheels went felling back and hit the ground while zeth landing and turned to face Wheels. By that time wheels was already getting up and getting back into a defensive position. Zeth did not hesitate as he went for a kick, but Wheels reacted, maving back slightly and grabbing zeth's foot, pushing up upwards and out to knock him off balance. Zeth fell back, but placed his hands accordingly to quickly catch himself and back flipped away from Wheels to get some space. The distance didn't last long tho as Wheels kept on him, throwing Move after move to try and knock zeth off balance. he dodged 3 until he saw an opening for him to strike, in which he kicked from his side, aiming for the person's head. Wheels saw it coming, and reacted to the attack by ducking down, then countering with a palm strike, aim for his waist in attempt to stun him and do a combo. The strike hit, but not as hard as he intended, since Zeth retreated back a little. The attack Stung, making his eyes close for a split second, and when he opened them Wheels was right on him and goes for another palm strike aimed to his chin. Zeth reacted and moved his head back to dodge the strike, but only to find that Wheels was attempting to Knee him in the stomach. Zeth placed his hands in the way and grabbed the knee, making him slide back a foot or 2. With this, Zeth was at the advantage to strike.

Zeth grappled he leg to make sure he didn't retreat and then goes for another kick to the right side of the face, but at the last second he pulled away his leg and continued the motion, lifting his other leg over Wheels and Slamming it down hard on his shoulder. Wheels grunted upon impact, and flinched for a brief moment, giving zeth his moment to finish the combo. with his left leg securely grounded, Zeth attempted to roundhouse kick Wheel into the face. While in motion though, Wheels regained his senses and blocked the kick with his arm, sliding a few feet to the right. They both stood back, watching each other to see what would happen next. Maybe if i make a clone and if he picks the right one i will use replacement jutsu Zeth thought, wondering if Wheels was about to plan something. He didn't want to wait and find out, so he made the first move. He created a hand sign, in which a poof of smoke appeared, and a second zeth appeared. the two of them split up, trying to flank him from both sides. as Zeth and his clones turned to start charging at him, Wheels pulled out two Kunai, tossing each on in the opposite direction. The first one hit the clone directly and made him disappear, while the real zeth rolled out of the way and continued to charge. But that was when he noticed a long was in the place of Wheels, where wheels was above him, barreling down to elbow Zeth into the back. This forced Zeth sprawling onto the ground while the wind was knocked out of him. Wheels got up, grabbed his shoulder and flipped him over, only to punch Zeth's face in. after one or two hits, zeth realizes whats going on and places his hands over his face, protecting him from the heavy blows. It was not long before Wheels pulled his arms away, holding them down to beat in his face more. Zeth saw anger in his eyes, as if he was mad at him, or maybe he was simply taking out his anger at him.
The teacher pulled the kid off Zeth, holding his arms. Wheels was hollering and saying " Let me go! I want to finish this! The teacher tossed him to the ground, saying "You are finished, you just lost your chance at becoming a genin. I told you to make it a fair fight, and you dis-obeyed me. Wheels yelled in a bit of rage, leaving the training grounds. It was only now that noticed everyone was looking at him. He felt something warm trickle down his cheek from below the eye. When he wiped his cheek, he noticed red was smeared all over his hand, and realized blood was also smeared on his face. Suddenly he had a huge headache from the beating, and felt a little dizzy. He took a step forward and asked the teacher for some help, and the kids were looking at him as if they were worried. it bothered him that everyone was staring at him. do i really look that bad? he wondered, but before he could ask, everything turned black.
