"... Huh..." Keiji leaned over to the sight slightly. Yep. The tail was moving like it normally would with a generic cat. So the claws were retractable... interesting. Although, he must have looked like a complete fool when dealing with this girl. Then he thought of something. Might as well have a little fun while he wasn't learning genjutsu. He reached into his senbon holster and pulled one out, then untied the bell attached it it, with the string still tied to the bell. He dangled it in front of her and let it ring out a little. Then he snapped his fingers, using the distortion genjutsu to distort her vision when the sound waves hit her ears.

Today begins the start...
(( I dunno, nyah! i found et!~ Gomen!))
Shade's pupils dilated when Keiji pulled out the bell. she loved bells and this one was about to be hers.
"MI-" she got cut off as the boy snapped his fingers. She rubbed her eyes vigorously and tried squinting.
"Nyah, i got something in my eyes," she whined and tried to look around. this of course threw her balance completely off, and she ended up stumbling towards the boy and the bell. She lifted her paws and flung them around, trying to snag the bell, but ended up almost smacking Keiji in the face a couple times,
"I cant get it out! NYAH!" she cried out, this vision block was getting her worried, and also made her look completely drunk by the way she wobbled around and drooled. Shade continued to rub her eyes with the back of her paws. She took a quick step forward and got tangled in her own legs. With a grunt, Shade started to fall forward, directly towards Keiji. if he didnt move, he was going to get squished by a dazed cat girl.

Ok, the flurry, that one he deserved. But at the sight of her tripping forward, his body moved instantly. He lurched upward, barrel rolling as he did so, and used his right arm as a support while his left cradled her around the back, preventing the fall, but this also would lead her to face upward. He stayed like this for a second, more baffled than he was previously. He had an idea of her facial features from the poke, what with skin comparisons due to touch, but this completely caught him off guard. This was the second woman who's eyes seem to hold a deep... something or other. He couldn't explain it, but these same eyes reminded him of his encounter with Jae. After a moment, he realized how this would look if he held her any longer. "Could... you please... move..." While he was pretty quick himself, he wasn't built for strength. Any longer and his hands would have to search for a proper hold.

Today begins the start...
The sudden movements startled Shade, but she felt herself get supported and she tried squinting again,
"I still cant see~ nyah!" She cried out and suddenly wrapped her arms around Keiji's waist, pulling him on top of her while she struggled. Since she struggled, Shade's fear happened. her hood fell back. Her secretive face now shown to this boy. Her skin was a pale white. her features were soft and innocent right down to the tip of her nose. With her hood off, her hair color was now shown too. Long silky strands of chocolate brown hair fell around Shade's face and shoulders, glistening from the light above. She looked completely normal. no cat ears, nothing unusual. she was just...a girl. Blinking harder now, she didn't realize that her hood was off, and she still struggled to see clearly once again.

"Not... what... I meant- Oh crap." Keiji's arm gave in, and gravity took care of the rest. He fell beside Shade, flat on his face. He simply laid there for a moment, letting what just happened soak in. She was just... normal. Why hide that? Was it a family trait, or dis something happen to her to make her act this way? Nothing about her was rational or logical. She was so easy to read, yet impossible to understand. His hands finally pushed up his body, then rubbed his nose.
Then something that never happened before happened: He laughed. At first it was a minor chuckle, then went into full blown laughing. He hadn't laughed before, not once. By now, the jutsu would have stopped and Shade would be able to see properly again. A tear rolled down Keiji's cheek before he was able to calm himself again, then sat on his rear and sighed. "That... That felt good."

Today begins the start...
As her eyes cleared up, Shade seemed ecstatic.
"YAY! I CAN SEE NEOW~ NYAH!" she cheered and sat up quickly, accidentally bopping Keiji in the face with her over stuffed paw.
"OHO! GOMENASAI!!!" she purred then froze up. hair? why did she see her own hair... GAH! Shade quickly flipped her hood back up and dove onto Keiji's lap. she curled up and giggled slightly, hearing this boy laugh made her laugh, and also happy. She figured no one noticed her face and decided to keep it like that. her tail swayed and brushed up against the boys face, accidentally going into his mouth for a second then hitting his nose lightly. what an obnoxious tail she had!

"You're a strange one." That was his ultimate conclusion of Shade. Strange. And oddly enough, he was completely ok with it, like he'd dealt with people like her every day. Even if the tail was annoying, he knew she meant no harm in it, and judging from her immediate hood-up, he figured he'd keep what he'd seen a secret. He was good at that. For now, he simply rubbed the back of her head. If she believed she was a cat, he could probably treat her like one and she'd be fine. "So... Is Shade your real name or an alias?"

Zhou made his way back to the academy and saw the cat chick on the ground with Kenji. He smiled and said," Well now isnt that a bit of an awkward position. " He chuckled as he spoke. He was in a rather pleasant mood. So far everything was going to plan.

Today begins the start...
Shade purred happily when she felt his hands on the back of her hood.
"Shade is me! and i am Shade! no other name~Nyah!" she grinned then perked her ears up when the Kage approached,
"Are you done mating neow?" she asked, then quickly shut her mouth. she didnt mean to ask that, it just slipped out. Her eyes widened in embarrassment and her tail wrapped around her side, the typical cat position.

"Well, she's strange, right? Only fitting." Keiji grinned weakly. He didn't care anymore. He was just going flow now. He shrugged, and went back to rubbing the back of Shade's head. "Shade is you, and you are Shade... Huh." He thought about it. He was Keiji. Not the angry child that hated his childhood. Nor was he the anti-social boy that skipped almost all classes at the academy, the same boy that drove three senseis out of their minds and jobs. He was Keiji. That sounded right.
Normally you only learned one thing a day. He was learning non-stop today. He looked over at the Hokage's grin. Was this his plan all along? "I meant what the clone said."

Zhou's smile disappeared as he looked down at the boy. "You will learn in due time. Events unfolded before their due time are plans ruined. For now practice and grow strong, have faith in your ability's and you will be rewarded. " It was a pretty elaborate way of saying he had no right to that information nor was he going to get it. He began to walk over to Shori but stopped and said to Kenji," I would refrain from eavesdropping on me in the future. Or else your very sanity will pay the price." His eyes flashed dark crimson red showing his heritage as a member of the Ranmaru bloodline. He had meant what he said, the next time he caught the boy eavesdropping on him he would bring the boy to the very limit of his sanity and just before his mind would break he would leave him in that state as punishment for his crimes. Intel was a precious commodity to him one that the boy had not earned.

Keiji looked up at Yun. "You too... Your eyes." He knew he wasn't the only one; one was never alone. However, the bloodline was extremely rare, and the chances of two being in the same village was nigh zero. "Then it's a good thing the curious cat has eight lives to spare."

Shori hadn't moved since the Hokage had left her side; she simply stood still, completely absent minded about what was happening around her. She looked up at the sky as she waiting for him patiently to return. A part of her still couldn't believe that the Hokage had actually offered his services to her although her body language didn't show it inside Shori was bursting with excitement. But it was suddenly cut short as she remember the last time she felt that way; the thoughts of her life at earlier times, but she quickly brought up a different subject to focus on in her mind, thinking of those times often brought back her painfully memories of her parents. It didn't take long before she looked down at her hands, noticing she still held her headband. She slowly began to move it forwards and backwards watching her reflects as well as the reflection of the sun dance back and forth across the steel.

It had taken Jae a very long time to find this place, according to someone she had asked along the way, it was a great place to practice. Of course, there was nothing wrong with her sanctuary but she wanted to get some exploring done on the aside of training. Despite donning the Leaf's headband, she still felt like an outsider. At least so far she had met pleasant enough people. The boy with the long braid from the Hokage's office popped into her head. Well, like she had said. Pleasant enough. At home, academies were homes for many scrolls. Jae was at the point where she was itching to try out higher level jutsu but needed a scrolls guidance for it. Thus, here she was. Standing outside of the expansive looking branched academy. She wasn't sure if they housed some scrolls here either but she would rather look before having to resort to going back to the Hokage's office. "Hello?" She said, sliding open a door with a loud bang. The room was empty, to her dismay. Walking in, her footsteps lightly rapping against the floor. This room was really wide looking, despite it's entrance. "Woah." She muttered aloud. It was certainly bigger than the Academy in Snow. Wasn't as aesthetically pretty but she kept that bit to herself. Was she going to have to go from room to room. That was going to take forever... Continuing her exploration, she moved from empty room to empty room, getting a little lost in the process.
