"They'd be a lot more scary when your a bug, I guesss...." he said dubiously, scratching his head in thought as he listened to Kemuri explain.

"i don't think so. bug's aren't bad. mosquitoes bite you though. but they need to live too. bee's help flowers grow. they to get the pollen and make honey too. ant's carry food to eat and save up for their young ones to eat. catterpillars have one main job. it's to eat. then they turn into a cocoon and after some time, they come out with pretty wings that they can fly with." Kemuri said. he didn't think bugs were all that bad. except cockroaches. they were just disgusting... "yeah. that might be it. some bugs eat other bugs. so it might be scary to be a bug with predators. like spiders. they make almost invisable webs to catch flies and then, the spider eats them, or kills them because they were being a pest and flew into their web." he also said...

Guinevere blinked. "So were you a caterpillar too then?" she asked Kemuri, who had the prettiest wings she knew of. She put her hand to the ground so the caterpillar that started this discussion could crawl safely off if it wanted and thought about Kemuri's opinions about bugs. Surely some of them had to be bad or lazy... Being all the same was boring. Maybe no one had studied them closely enough yet.

"no. i'm not a caterpillar. i was revived with wings. same with you and Lind. when you were revived, you had wings, right? and they were feathery. Butterfly wings aren't feathery. they are made of teeny tiny scales, it's like a powder. and butterflys don't look like humans. they have antennas. butterflie's aren't as big either." he said smiling at her curiosity. it was weird how butterflies had wings and so did they... come to think of it, DO butterflies grow as bug as Heralds?! he thought about if heralds had butterfly wings instead of feathery wings... they' be more delicate. and might break easily...

"Oh." said Guinevere. Butterfly wings sounded impractical. How would powder wings survive in a wind? They'd blow right off. "So butterflies have antennas like televisions?" she asked, thinking of the little old black and white TV Kotatsu had in her bedroom. Could you watch a butterfly instead of TV? Did they get a good picture?

"you can't watch television through a butterfly. the antennas are used to feel things. because they don't eyes like us. they see differently. so they use their antennas as feelers, so they won't crash into stuff. it's like we would use our hands or hearing if we can't see something." Kemuri said. he watched as the caterpillar squrimed away slowly. "do you have any questions, Lind?"

"Nope!" he replied, pondering over the idea of antennae. "Antenna re like this, right?" He put both hand up to his forhead, sticking his index fingers out and waving them around.

Guinevere nodded. "Yeah. But some of them are longer and skinnier and look like whiskers, right?" she said, looking to Kemuri for confirmation. Looking at her hand, she noticed the caterpillar was gone and said "Oh, where'd it go?"

"yep! antenna's are like that." he said chuckling at the Lind that looked like a butterfly. wings and all. he was so cute. "oh. the caterpillar probably went away. maybe it was scared of us, being so much bigger than it. want to go play on the playground equipment? Lind? Guinevere?" he asked the 2 children. he was out of butterfly information...

"What do we do on them?" asked Guinevere, looking dubiously at the equipment. "Do we just... goof around?" They looked kind of intimidating to her, so big and tall.

"there are swings." he said pointing to the seat connected to chains on a large metal frame, a swing. "there are slides that twist different ways..." he said pointing tothe slides that curved in a spiral and the one that went straight and the one that went to the side a little. "there are monkey bars" he pointer to the row of metal bars above the ground a little under Kemuri's height. "and there is an area to run on" he said. "oh, and there are places to get up onto the equipment or get off the equipment."

Guinevere went straight over to the swings, having seen a picture of one of those before. Clambering up onto one, she sat on it, waiting for it to do something. "How do you start this?" she asked Kemuri, prodding the swing. Remebering the picture she had seen, she put her feet straight out in front of her, but that didn't seem to help much either.

With an excited squeal, Lind dashed to the swings, flopping on one on his stomach, his momentum making him swing back and forth.

Guinevere hopped off her swing, imitating Lind and jumping on it. Ooof! It didn't feel very pleasant but she managed to swing a little.

"Lind. Guinevere. you shouldn't do that. you might get an upset tummy like that" he said as he lifted Lind and put him upright on the swing. he liften Guinevere and put her on the swing upright too. "you could push with your fett but, i'll push you today.. are you ready?" he said holding the back of Guinevere's swing. "i'll push you too, Lind." he said smiling to the little boy on the swing.
