hmmm Apparently Nintendo is setting back most of their games to 2006, and this year was supposed to bring forth the comming of great Nintendo Games. But apparently Nintendo is having some draw backs, such as dropping the Release Date of Twilight Princess from August, 2005 to Early April(at best), 2006.
GameSpot Newsletter on August 16, 2005.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess has been one of the most eagerly anticipated games of 2005 ever since it was first unveiled at E3 2004. Well, guess what--now it's one of the most eagerly anticipated games of 2006, as Nintendo has just delayed the release of the Hyrulian hero's next GameCube adventure until next April, at the earliest. GameSpot News has all the details on this unfortunate turn of events. Here's hoping the game turns out that much better on account of the extra development time.
Earlier that day I had received a call from GameStop because I had put Zelda on reserve shortly before I went down the Masq's house. Saying that Nintendo had a press conference and quite a few games had been set back including Zelda. I'm hoping that this will give them a chance to add some stuff on the games to make the activity more interactive. Me, i'm glad that Nintendo is having these Draw Back. When most companies put a game into development and have a set date that's earlier than you expected it, it usually turns out to suck a**, but leaves the company claiming it's superiority*coughHalo2cough*
Ohh well, Nintendo right now is in an Arch and is slowly bringing it's-self out of it. Sony, on the other hand, is going ********' a**l and throwing out law suits left and right. They've already sued a few Online Stores for selling Their products that aren't released out in other countries(ESPECIALLY EUROPEAN COUNTRIES). And at the rate they've been going since earlier this year, Capcom is going to walk out giving them the finger soon. Don't get me wrong, I love Sony. It's just their recent acts have left me in shame.
crying Enough of my ranting about that. Now it's on to my gaming stories.
Recently I have been hanging out with my Friend that lives right down the street from me(Not Vorek). We've been playing PSO, and pokemon and what-not. I recently started playing 'Pokemon Colosseum'... I must say, the game is rather interesting. It confused me seeing my friend play it, because I didn't really know what was going on. But after I played the game for about 20 minutes, a few things came clear to me. The main Character(I don't know his real name, but I named him Kevin)
WAS a member of a team that stole Trainers pokemon using devices called "Snag Machines".
And at the beginning of the game, you revolt and break into the base and steal their newest type of Snag Machine then run away. The game makes me HAPPY! because your starting pokemon are Espeon and Umbreon
heart ... Every battle in the game, EVERY battle is a double battle, where you fight with two pokemon instead of one. So the battles get pretty interesting, not to mention that the GameBoy Games don't really have many double battles, so this game makes up for that.
xd It sucks that you can't fight any wild pokemon, but you can catch pokemon. How? Well, about 10 minutes into the game you go into this town and see these two guys carrying a bag. As you enter the village, they are leaving ... you happen to be there and stop them. You fight the trainers and beat them(if you don't you must suck severly) then you find out a girl was in the bag. You saved her life, w00t! And she's grateful for it, so she decides to join you in whatever the hell you are doing. I don't know her name either, though they do give you a list of three names to choose from at first. I didn't like any of the names from the list... Not to mention that it's all in caps, which I really don't like... but Pokemon refuses to stop doing... So I end up naming this Red-headed girl Trina.
So thus you continue on with the game, and find out the reason this girl was being carried out of the village by the two guys is because she can see the Dark Aura comming from certain pokemon who's hearts were 'closed' due to human experimentation. These pokemon are agressive and bad as hell. So agressive, they will attack humans without warning. Finding this out Kevin, and Trina set out to stop the people who are experimenting on these pokemon(they more just fall into it really). During the quest, since Trina can see the 'Shadow Pokemon's aura's, you can 'Snag' them from the trainers that have a Shadow Pokemon and use them to fight with. Instead of gaining experiance during a battle, a Shadow Pokemon's heart will start to open. Indicated by a guage, the shorter the bar gets, the more open the pokemon's heart will become. The more it opens, the pokemon will remember how to do moves it once knew. Also regaining it's Stats. Though you can open it's heart, you cannot 'Purify' the pokemon without opening the 'Final Lock' on it's heart. So you have to wait for a while and get to this village where there's this place used for Rituals and Purify the Pokemon there. In doing so, the Pokemon will gain experiance equivallant to what it should have gained in battles. Thus your pokemon JUMPING in levels. I am in the city where you can Purify the pokemon, but I havn't not yet reached the area in which you can do so. >_< i've got quite a few pokemon who need to be purified. I can't wait
3nodding Also been playing FFT, ToS, PSO, Pokemon, and uhh ... DMC3 off and on. mmm
Well, that's all for this installment... ta ta~
