Lacey held her hands behind her back as she stared at the ground. She stepped forward with one foot and then to the side with the other. Although she tended to stay in the same place, for the most part, her feet made a pattern on the ground. Well, they would have if she were goofing around in sand instead of on a sidewalk. Each time she stepped, she would click her heel against the ground on purpose. A soft hum would be heard coming from her if someone was close by.

Her eyes shifted to look up when Melanie attempted to get her attention. Lacey let her hands free and met up with the group. She listened to her friends short introduction before speaking. "I'm Lacey," she stated in her normal soft tone, "it's a pleasure to meet you both." A gentle smile appeared on her lips as her dark eyes traveled from the blond to Lucian. Shortly after, she turned her attention to Melanie; who was egging the group to get a move on: so she started walking after the social butterfly.

After walking for five minutes or so, Lacey could see the living Haunted Music Box. What kind of transformation did it decide to do on the inside? A smile formed on her face as her imagination ran away with her. It got her excited and subconsciously made her quicken her step ever so slightly. She was trailing behind the others the whole time, so it took her a while to catch up with one of the guys.

As soon as she entered, she looked around the place. Lacey started to come to a stop in order to take it all in, but decided against it since there were other people coming through the door. Instead, she found a place to step to the side so she wouldn't be in any ones way. A smile graced her lips as she took it all in. She definitely liked this decor better than the previous one. "You did a good job," she whispered under her breath, sure that it would hear her. At this point she was a bit oblivious to the fact that she walked to the Haunted Music Box with a group of people. Lacey tended to get distracted like that. After all, she was talking to the building like a weirdo. Luckily, no one would know that even if they magically heard her whisper.

((Sorry...I kind of pushed the group along...))

╔═≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎═╗
Gavin & Wells
╚═≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎≎═╝

The band just started their next song when five more people entered the place. This one had an aggressively energetic beat to it. Just like everything else about their band; each member in the group seemed to be at a different skill level. Ian was good, but he was just there. He did what he needed to, but there was something lacking. Maybe he needed a bit more soul.

User Image
Gavin played perfectly. He always let himself go when he played on stage. It was the only time he was completely exposed to anyone and everyone. The only way to see an even deeper side of him was if he collaborated on a song with the rest of the guys. He played with immense passion, heart and soul. The stoic drummer tends to get so into it that he is oblivious to anyone that isn't playing with him. He fully embraces the moment.

Even though the redhead was the leader of the group; Gavin was the core. He keeps them together on stage. He is the one that they need to learn from. His musical radiance envelops them, but they still need to shine some on their own as well. Off stage was a different story though.

User Image
Wells played the guitar quite nicely. The problem with him was that he was unstable. It's not that he made mistakes at random; it had to do with the heart and soul. Sometimes he oozed greatness when he connected with his true emotions and just let it all out; other times it just wasn't there. He wavered much like his emotions do in everyday life. With that said, when he is playing a piece that he worked on himself; that extra umpf that he needs is always there. Part of his problem might be due to the fact that they play too many songs that aren't theirs. That is why Gavin tried to get Wells to agree to play a short solo before their break.

With all that said, Wells was pretty entertaining when he played. He moved with the music and stayed energetic. It was kind of surprising that he never really got winded. After all, being so active while singing is a bit complicated. Speaking of singing, he wasn't the best singer in the world but he was pleasant to listen to. Well, some people would probably disagree with that. He didn't really like practicing vocals as much as he did his guitar. Since he is multitasking, maybe that is another reason why he only has moments of greatness.

Daniel inwardly grimaced as his gaze swept sidelong to peer unobtrusively at Melanie. Her outgoing personality was a refreshing quality, certainly, but he was so susceptible of becoming flustered that he wasn't sure how to handle being around energetic individuals. He loved their energy, their passion and quirks, many a time wished he could be more like them, but he always came back to the reality that he was who he was. Which was something he never wanted to change, no matter what he was told otherwise.

Sea-green eyes rose to meet Lucian's, briefly uncertain, but quick to warm as a surge of innate friendliness grew inside the golden-blond male. At least progress had been made: what had been a random encounter had turned into prospective acquaintances. With Mel and Lucian having agreed to move on to the bar, Daniel waited along side them as Mel's short, black-haired friend came to join them. After a second, Daniel recognized her - the pretty young bassist that had kept Christoph company a few weeks ago. A smile slid across his face as he nodded in way of greeting.

Bike pushed along to one side, Daniel meandered on to the Haunted Music Box, listening in silent contentedness as the two girls chatted. Lacey fell behind at one point, but Daniel had a feeling it was only the way she wanted to pace herself. Thus he carried on nearest Lucian, whom he wondered about during the brief time spent walking toward the newly renovated musical bar. Where had he come from, this mysterious, Russian-accented boy? He appeared verily mature, but a youthfulness about his features had Daniel wondering if he was even eighteen yet. Not that he was one to talk, of course. Most of the time, those that didn't know him generally thought he was a minor or barely legal enough to enter a bar.

- - - - -

At long last, the Haunted Music Box was before them. Walking off toward an outdoor handrail, Daniel parked and chained his bike. Removing his helmet, he left it hanging from the straps around the handlebars, grabbing a black case from the bike's back rack afterward. It was a regular leather case - not large enough to carry a violin, but too small to hold a wind instrument. Over his shoulder went the regular day bag he carried everywhere, in which he had his assorted notebooks and pens. Rubbing a hand through his hair, self-conscious for a moment, Daniel hustled to get inside. His breath was chilly and instantly steamed inside the Box's interior. The blond, at first glancing around for the group he'd walked with, froze as his senses sent up warning flags. Good warning flags. The type that indicate a surprise might be on the horizon.

In this case, it was the sheer joy of discovery. "Oh~" Daniel breathed, voice lightly lifted by melodic wonder. Turning on his heel, his eyes eagerly ran over the Oriental-themed designs of the Box. It was, without a doubt, one of the most charming, exotic places Daniel had ever seen. So simple, but so well thought out, it seemed constructed just for the pure pleasure of ease and comfort. A smile filled out the cherubic features of Daniel's boyish face: humming a soft, excited note, he found an empty table to sit at. His belongings were set aside, and he remained standing to remove his coat. It slipped from his narrow shoulders and was placed neatly on the back of his chair. Beneath, he wore a dark violet shirt, with a lace-up V-neck collar consisting of black string. A leather cord hung around his neck, knotted artfully so only one end fell to lay against his color bone. Otherwise he was simply dressed in a pair of blue jeans and black shoes - a bracelet hung out from beneath the hem of his shirt's long sleeves.

Butterflies flipped through his stomach. Music, undeniably familiar, swam through his consciousness and drew him into it. Aggressive, but playful, edged with just barely concealed passion: hand gripping the chair's back, Daniel's eyes lifted to the new stage. Wells, Ian and Gavin, complete with instruments and microphones. His heart thudded heavily against his ribcage as he stared, clutching unknowingly at the front of his shirt. Again, the reason for his... fascination with the band's usually stoic drummer became apparent. How could such a melancholy, quiet individual transform like Gavin did? He didn't know, but watching them - him - made his chest hurt and his skin flush. It was magic; it always was.

{{ That's fine. It's necessary to push the plot along sometimes. ;3

♥ ♠ Call me Byron, that's all ♦ ♣

"Missed you? That's the least I could say about the matter, I really needed a familiar, non hostile place to be for that last fortnight, I like what you did to the place by the way, the Asian style is pretty welcoming and warm." Byron replied to Christoph as he watched him prepare the drink for him. It wasn't so Byron to praise something to please people, so telling the golden haired bartender that he liked the place meant he really liked it.

As he picked up his cup his hand touched Christoph's by accident, it was so cold to the touch, colder than a normal person's hand in any state, in fact he looked even paler than the way he was two weeks ago, his eyes looked sickly with black rings around them, which made their blue gray color look like a faint silver hue, or have they really changed?

He took a sip of his drink and then picked up his cigarettes, lit up one then looked back at Christoph, he really wanted to ask him about that enchanting Japanese guest, but it would have seemed off his personality, he was the curious type but never asked questions, he had other means of finding answers, but still there was something else he wanted to ask about, but it would seem lame if he asked it right away, instead he just asked a random question "What is the signature cocktail here? I'd like to try it sometime."

At this moment five people entered the bar, taking his attention off Christoph and the lady for a bit, he could recognize most of them, the black haired girl that Christoph was talking to about the soul of the place, her blonde energetic friend that he didn't like so much, then there was the cute blond guy with a very apparent reason for coming back especially that night, and a guy with hair that reminded him of Visual Kei artists but had a white color, it was his first time to see him but he found him rather interesting, a minute later a girl followed them and he thought he heard her say something about a fox, but that was about all of it.

He turned back to Christoph and looked a little curious then he lowered his voice so it was merely a whisper "Pardon me, You're pretty old, no offence, so you probably know a lot of weird sh**, How much can you tell me about vampires?"

((@Bony: Nice coincidence, the main character in the shining had the same name.

Melanie walked in with a bounce in her step. She followed Lacey and stood beside her for a moment. The decor seemed pretty cool, but she wasn't super interested in that kind of thing.

Her hazel eyes rested on the blond cutie that she teased earlier. He was totally gawking at the band. No, it was probably the drummer. What was that guys name anyway? Oh well, she would just have to find that out later in the night. A smile appeared on her face as she watched him standing there; holding his shirt as if he was attempting to keep his heart hidden underneath. Maybe Daniel was just infatuated with the drummers musical passion.

Melanie took a step away from the wall in order to get a better look at the band. They were pretty good, and the drummer did seem to stand out in a way she doesn't normally see. Lacey would probably fit with them better than that other bassists. Her eyes narrowed for a moment while looking at him.

Melanie turned to address her friend, who was kind of spacing out, "I'm gonna get something at the bar." After Lacey gave a simple 'uh' in confirmation; she moseyed on over to the bar. Both of the bartenders seemed to be talking to someone, so she decided to walk up to where Christoph was standing at the bar. After all, she kind of knew him. "Hey, can I have sex on the beach?"

The blond always wanted to ask that. It was just a fun drink to order. Plus, Lacey likes that one if it is made right; but she is too shy to order it. Melanie wasn't planning on ordering a drink for herself though. After all, she was underage, but she was curious to see if he would card her.

After waiting sometime Peeta got tired being ignored, then again she was used to not being heard. Looking at Lithium outside she mouthed sorry and shrugged. The arctic fox just gave an annoyed chirpy grunt before lying down near the door. Turning to look around Peeta examined her surroundings a bit more, the end of a song the band was playing, and the girl found herself not knowing where to start. She knew Lithium was waiting outside but right now she found herself in a whole new world, music and goodhearted ambiance in a Japanese styled bar. She decided to talk to a blond haired girl, asking for some special drink although the name of it surprised her. "Wow I never knew there was a drink with such a name." Peeta spoke up before seeing Lithium jump onto her lap, the cheeky fox had pushed the door open and walked in. "Oh Lithia you cheeky bum. I told you to stay outside, I guess you got impatient though huh?"

Melanie turned to look at the person that spoke to her. One elbow was resting on the counter, while her other hand was being held up by her hip. She gave the person a big smile before speaking. "You'd be surprised what kind of names people make up for drinks," she paused for a couple seconds before continuing, "you should try it."

Her hazel eyes examined the person in a quick and discreet manner. Was this person a boy or a girl? It didn't really matter, but he or she looked a bit young to even be in here. She shrugged mentally and flashed another smile.

That was when Melanie noticed the little animal hop into the persons lap. She tilted her head in an attempt to get a better look. "What kind of pet is that?"

Lucian Kliment

Lucian had followed the group of newly made acquaintances to the residences. His boots had rhythmically hustled behind the group, the leather case containing his guitar tapped against his back from his hustled movements. Lucian was almost the last to enter, his palm placed against the door to keep it from closing in against him.

Letting the others enter the bar before him however, as he remained in a stand still position. His gaze swept across the room, taking in the area. The sounds and the appearance, Lucian found it rather breathtaking.

Lucian inhaled a deep breath, as if he were to dive into deep water. A nonexistent force pushing him forward to let the door ease shut behind him. The others had wandered off and about. Lucian shifted on his heels twisting to where his feet shuffled on the material of the floor. His chains giving off their symphony of rattles as his free arm extended, his fingers tucking around the oak like chair that sat in the corner pushed in against a matching material of table.

His fingers uncurled his other shoulder rolled causing his case to stroll down his arm letting the handle quickly fall into his grasp.

He lowered the case nearest to him, propped up against the end that shaped out the body of his guitar. The leather buried into the fur like material of his coat as it leaned against him, seating himself in the chair he had recently pulled out. Lucian let his eyes narrow, a smirk twisting into his expression as he took in all the sounds. From the vibrations of the guitar to the echoes of the drums beating, Lucian found it all exhilarating.

“Da, Da. Nice, very nice.”

His Russian accent yet again making itself known as he mumbled to himself, chuckling in the back of his throat, his eyes shifted to the bar, hesitant to ask for a drink perhaps? “Neit .. I should get used to place first maybe?” Lucian had been talking to himself, though to keep this fact-hidden from the others he didn’t mouth his words, he instead spoke under his breath in the calmest tone.

Yuko took another sip of the sake, savoring the elegance of the flavor. "Liam Roman Westlye... That's a fine name. It tells me a lot about you." Without waiting for a response, she asked "And your birthday?" Yuko ignored Liam's question about how long she would be visiting. She rarely ever answered questions asked of her.

Christoph didn't flinch when he brushed Byron's hand, though it did surprise him. Had his flesh always been so cold? Maybe it was just a weird trait, like sweaty palms or hair that grew really fast.

"Hmmm... Do we have a signature cocktail?" Christoph placed his hands on his hips, looking up at the ceiling in thought. "No, I don't think we do. Why, do other bars have one?" His naive question only served to reflect his distaste for drinking alcohol. Another bar owner with a eye towards business might go to other bars to sample their wares, and see how he might compete. Christoph never thought about things like that.

Melanie bounced up, bubbly as the last time she'd been here. It brought a smile to his face. When she asked for a Sex on the Beach, he did a double take. Eying her up and down, he finally asked "I never carded you last time, did I?" He'd totally forgotten, but then, she hadn't tried to order anything. "Could I see some ID first?"

While she searched for it, he turned back to Byron and answered the question about vampires. "Sometimes I get a couple in here. They're very polite and I've never had any problems with them attacking other customers. What did you want to know? Maybe if I know what you're interested in learning, I can be more specific."

Melanie turned back to Christoph and chuckled at his response. She just couldn't help it. Of course, she wouldn't have attempted to stop herself from laughing. It felt like a weird thing to do: hold back a laugh. They were meant to be heard. She wasn't surprised when he asked her for the ID. After all, she looked and acted a bit younger than she was anyway.

"Oh it's not for me," she replied after he finished what he was saying to the guy next to her, "I only drink beer anyway." Her hazel eyes glanced over to the guy. Has she seen him before? Ah, it didn't really matter. She turned her attention back toward Christoph. "I don't have an ID, but could you make one for me anyway? It's for Lacey," she paused just long enough to motion over to where her friend was daydreaming, "you know how shy she can be." Of course, she was referring to the name of the drink that Melanie just ordered. There was no way Lacey would order that even if she wanted to. "You can trust me," she said with a smile accompanied with a wink. "If you want you could give me a Shirley Temple," she suggested. It was non-alcoholic, but good.

"This is Lithium, but she comes to Lithia. She's an arctic fox." Peeta replied and pat the fluffy white fox's head. Looking over at the pale boy again and then back at the girl. "I'm Peeta by the way, umm who's that guy over there?" She asked, looking at the pale boy again before waving over the bartender and order a raspberry lemonade. Lithium decided to do some wandering of her on and trotted past the stools, chairs and tables before stopping at a guy with long, dark hair and gave a muffled chirping bark to get his attention and sat up to beg for scraps.

Melanie looked back at the one called Peeta. Her eyes traveled down to look at Lithia. The fox was adorable looking. She smiled as she looked up at Peeta. "She's cute," Mel said before glancing over to the pale boy in question. "Oh he's name is Lucian, but I don't really know him." Hazel orbs shifted to look back at Peeta. A sly grin crept on her face. "Do you have a little crush on him?" She asked while poking Peeta gently in the side with her elbow. Shortly after, the blond let out a small playful laugh.

"Oh. Call me Mel," she said as an afterthought.

Lacey finally absorbed enough of the Music Box to return to reality. She dark eyes glanced around at the people, noting where everyone was. Finally, her gaze rested on Daniel. He looked like he was in heaven. Like his heart was trying to leap out and announce to the world what he was feeling. Even the grip he had on the chair seemed telling. It was like it was the only thing stopping him from fainting in pleasure. She was probably looking too much into it, but it made her want to write.

That was when she remembered. Wasn't Daniel a songwriter like her? She edged closer to him, but stopped to look at the band that was playing. The music that he was so enthralled in. They were pretty good. Well, the bassist was lame; although he was dressed the best. Maybe she was just bias because he was threatening her last time.

Unlike Melanie, Lacey didn't really notice anything particular about Daniel and Gavin, so she just assumed that the blond liked the music a lot. Her dark orbs shifted to look at the entranced blond again. She kind of wanted to talk to him, but he seemed too engaged and she decided not to distract him.

His eyes followed her hands, watching as she grasped the delicate choko and tilted it to her lips. It figured that the Japanese descended lady would prefer the lightly scented sake - he hadn't bothered to try any in his life, though. Amber eyes darted to her face, locking down like a jaguar upon a possible contender. "Does it?" He murmured, half bemused, half unconcerned. What could a name tell anyone, aside from his family heritage. His mother was a former superstar - whatever. Dark, elegant brows swept up like bird's wings when her questions continued. He, too, disliked having to talk about himself. "Ah. May 20th, why? Is astrology one of your hobbies?" He answered slowly, gaze drifting away. Down the bar, where he wondered what Christoph was saying to the gathering crowd there. Girls, boys, the man attracted everyone, one and all.
