He's haven't even shown his full power yet! (First battle with Luxus, he retreated because Erza and Natsu showed up and he lost against Faust on purpose) And I think Pantherlily is too powerful to be Gazille's cat. xD Happy and Charle can only fly...
Pantherlily has combat experience as being a commander in an army, can swing a GIANT sword with one hand, and even matched against Gazille! I'd say that make Gazille too overpowered if he was to partner up with Pantherlily lol.

exactly!! T^T unless.....magically one of the other cats(I temporarily forgot what they're called. XD) decides they want to go to Earthland with them and becomes Gazille's cat.....
