Erebus nodded as his teacher flew out the window on a paper bird, flying towards the beach. "Well, if sensei did it..." Erebus muttered out loud. Checking to make sure that his daggers were firmly in place at his hips, he prepared to jump out the window and follow the figure in the air. Finding them secure, he leaped out the window, tumbling as he landed on the ground and launching himself into a sprint when he rolled upright.

He was able to keep the figure of the flying paper bird in sight the entire way to the beach. Fortunately it didn't seem like Shaoran-sensei wanted to shake the following students off of his tail. Still, it wasn't exactly the easiest route to follow on the ground. Before too long, though, Erebus found Shaoran waiting near the surf. "I'm here, sensei," Erebus declared, even though he would bet dollars to ramen that he already knew who was exactly where.

Erebus held out his hand. "My name's Erebus Sansanct. You?"

After shaking hands with Ichigo, Erebus let it go and looked around the beach. So far it was just him, Ichigo, and Shaoran. The smell of the sea permeated the air, and gulls flying overhead screeched as they looked for food. There was a small flock on the ground fighting over some morsel a ways away, and others just floating on the water past the shore.

Shaking the sand out of his shoes, Erebus kept talking to Ichigo. "So what do you think we're going to be doing out here? And how long do you think we'll wait before Sensei decides to start teaching without the others?"

Erebus nodded, looking out at the surf foaming along the shoreline. "I know what you mean. Water is the cruelest of mistresses. Even when you respect her as you should, she can punish you." He shrugged. "I'm hoping for genjutsu's though. Honestly, I'm not very good at ninjutsu. They tend to be a little...lackluster when I try them. Hopefully that will change, but I'm not expecting much."

Erebus watched the birds warily, seeing a flock of them flying at him. He stood his ground for the moment, concentrating on copying the technique he had been shown.

Erebus took a deep breath, forming the chakra up into his mouth. Copying the hand signals, piece by piece, he quickly approached the final sign of the technique. The Chakra liquefied in his mouth, but it didn't feel quit right. To his dismay, Erebus realized that he had held the Dragon Seal entirely too long. He tried to finish the jutsu quickly, rushing through the last bit. Boiling water filled his mouth at the end. One of the oragami birds came closer, to Erebus, and he tried to spit the water at it, but to no avail. Releasing the water from his mouth, Erebus jumped to the side and rolled back to a standing position on the beach, ready to try again.

Having learned from his last experience, Erebus ran through everything once more in his head. Seals, timing, chakra proportions, everything. Satisfied that he had it down, Erebus took aim at two more oragami birds darting towards him. Once more, Erebus concentrated the chakra into his mouth, performing the hand seals. The timing was perfect, seals in the correct order. The Chakra began to liquefy in his mouth. Erebus' eyes widened. It wasn't in his mouth. It was a little to far back to be in his mouth. He started coughing, eyes watering, as the jutsu finished. It was like he swallowed an entire glass of water wrong. He could make out one of the birds coming at him enough to see it, and sidestepped out of the way, still coughing. But the second bird caught him square in the chest, throwing him backwards. Well, at least that helped clear the water, Erebus thought.

But I got it now. Three birds, flying in at him. Seal order, check. Seal timing, check. Erebus' hands automatically went through them. Once more, the chakra gathered in his mouth. Not his throat, his mouth. The seals were all correct. The timing, correct. Taking a breath through his nose, Erebus took aim at the incoming explosives. The last seal was formed, and the chakra liquified. The first shot hit the first bird. The second shot hit the second bird. The third shot-

Missed the third bird. Missed at six inches away, and he was now out of water. "Crap," he said, knowing he couldn't dodge it. The explosion sent him tumbling backwards onto the beach. But, he now had the Fish Spit jutsu down.

"Very good you two. Now, for the next technique, you will be learning how to create a water clone. For this technique, you will obviously need water. You create the clone the same way as a regular bunshin clone. But this time, you send your chakra into the water and morph the water into your image. Now go."
