Slicing the meat evenly with a kunai, she placed each piece on the leaves of a nearby bush. Sitting in front of the fire and eating, she listened to the owls and the animals rustling about.
Satisfied, she tossed the bones and the leaf into the fire and cleaned her hands with a light blue handkerchief she produced from her pocked before putting it back neatly. Getting into her sleeping bag she muttered sleepily, "We'll be waking up early so, get a good night's rest." WIth a large yawn, she formed a quick set of one-handed seals, a flower of ice literally bursting from the flames and quelling them in order to hide their location.

Smiling at he remark about him being prepared Manny simply nodded and kept eating, he was tired, lugging around the weights took there toll, he was never really that great at the physical labor, but it was probably the right thing to do for his training. Finishing up his bit of meat he though how the food would have tasted if his Dad had made it, and then started to feel a bit lonely, since his mom passed his Dad was always around, and for the first time Manny looked around the forest in the dark and though about his Mom being gone, really gone...
Laying back on the dirt Manny started at the sky for a long while, eventually falling asleep. Before that though he thought, thought about how his Dad probably missed his Mom more than Manny knew, thought about how he would need to take control of his training since his Mother was not there to do it now, and thought about how things have been changing, and would keep changing as he grew up, and started taking the place in the Uchiha ranks that his Mother always wanted for him.

Masaki slept like a rock. When he finally woke up in the morning he could remember only fractions of his dreams the night before, something about a war between all of the villages, Masaki was sure he was one of the key players in the dream but didn't remember anything more. Not tat it bothered him, Masaki tended to prefer the real world. How could a dream help him in any way? He crawled out of his "bed" and restarted the fire, leaving the ice rose to the side. He then began picking at his lunchbox, most of the actual food was dry, though the rice was still somewhat acceptable. After he finished his food he let his mat and blanket air our. The ice cuffs had melted during the night, or morning or whatever. He was probably the first to go to sleep so he wouldnt be surprised if the group slept a bit longer.

Looking around for a moment still in a sort of sleep haze, she yawned and stretched before rolling up her sleeping bag. Sneaking off to a nearby stream, she picked up her canteen and went to a nearby stream. Washing her face lightly, she proceeded to fill the canteen with water after drinking to her hearts content. As she returned, she was quite surprised to find Masaki awake, and not so surprised to see Manny sleeping.
"Shhh," she said, motioning with her index finger to Masaki to keep a quiet voice as she stifled a giggle. Walking over to Manny carefully she stood over him, blocking the sun from view with her outline. Deciding against wasting chakra today, she pulled out her canteen and poured a little on his head looking down at him. As it splashed against his face she said aloud rather sternly, "Up, now!" She looked pleasant, but when she needed to be she could be utterly chilling. "We're not on vacation, we're on a mission. So unless you want another set of weights twice the size of the one's from yesterday, you better get it in gear and start looking for breakfast."

Freaking out Manny scrambled to his feet, his attention split between the yelling and the coldness of water that suddenly awoke him. His bearing started to come back, and his mind registered what was going on despite him not completely understanding it. "Breakfast, right... Be back soon." His voice was groggy and unsure, but his body moved into the forest anyway, not quite sure were he was going, or what he was doing.
After a few moments of stumbling though Manny started to wake up and looked around, first across the ground noticing a berry bush he could get something sweet from, and then to the trees, it took a few moments but after a while he noticed some eggs in a next high in a tree. "Mmm eggs." he said as he started up the tree, moving from branch to branch taking it slow, and steady making sure he knew his way down so as not to get stuck with there meal. Five eggs were in the nest once he got up, a bit low on the food, but he could just pick extra berries, so he pocket the eggs and then headed back down the tree just as slowly as he went up it making sure as to not make to sudden of a movment to keep the eggs from cracking.
Once down the tree Manny went about getting a large amount of the sweet blue berry's then headed back to camp were he stated "Eggs, and blue berry's for breakfast." Carefully taking everything out and placing it all down neatly and carefully making sure not to get anything dirty, or break anything.

"Good work kid!" she said enthusiastically. Taking the eggs, she cracked them one at a time, making a small omelet for each of them. She then spit up the berries and placed them on new leaves to eat off of, followed by the omelet's. She ate quickly and drank some water, passing the sack to Manny, motioning for him to pass it to Masaki next. After finishing, she packed up her gear and waited for the others to do so as well. "Well, you guys ready to go to Konoha today?" she said with a smile.

Masaki watched the woman as she woke the poor Uchiha. Masaki roared with laughter, knocking down part of the fire pit in the process. He quickly rebuilt the pit. He looked up hopefully when the woman said something about more weight, but didnt say anything. He wasn't feeling quite as ambitious as usual this morning for some reason. When breakfast came around Masaki ate his omelette and blueberries quickly, forgetting what little manners he had. He then jumped to his feet, rolled up his mat and waited for their journey to continue. For some reason, this forest gave him an irritable impatience. "These trees aren't mine." he said quietly. It was obvious of course, his trees tended to have an irregular bark and shape, but somehow it seemed important.He didn't know enough about Konoha to be excited to visit.

Eating his food a bit more slowly than the other two Manny said "Kinda exited, my clan founded the village but I was only there as a small chil, and do not really remember it." Seeing the other two finished Manny shoved the food his his mouth, swallowed it after a few bite and scrambled to his feet after taking some of the water and passing it along. "How long till we make do you think?" He said as he slipped his grey pajama shirt back on and double checked all his gear.

Taing off after her Manny was glad there were no weights slowing him down, he felt light, and agile now and more or less kept up with Aoi easily. After five minutes or so of running Manny looked around, and not totally feeling safe took to the trees leaping from branch to branch getting up high enough that he had a good view of his team below, and the surrounding area.

Masaki made sure the campfire was out, and did a quick inspection of the campsite before taking off to follow the team leader, lady iceface. As he moved his nerves calmed significantly as he started moving again.

The forests of Konoha were always a comfort, despite the slightly malicious air they had taken on. Nagisa slowed her pace slightly as she pushed her way towards Kumo. She would have to stop for camp soon. She had hoped to make it closer to Shimo, but she would need rest on the off chance someone attacked her in lightning country. She would have to stop in Shimogakure for a bit to get construction moving before she finished her trip towards Kumo. They would probably want to build a new communications tower as well, but that would have to wait untill the base was completed. Nagisa recalled the surviving members of her radar and made camp, keeping a close eye on the surroundings as a new Kikaichuu network began to form. She would go with no fire and a cold meal tonight and she hid her sleeping position well. Noone would find her unless they were looking for her, and Kiri did not appear to be following her. That meant any intruders on her campsite would be Konoha nin or the unknown enemy. She ate, and fell asleep quickly despite the rising tension and increasing weight on her shoulders.

Nagisa woke with the sunrise, and quickly packed up camp without eating. Her appetite could hold out until Shimogakure where she could eat lunch with the Council head. She had already sent word last night. She started out with a brand new boost as she pushed her way back through the forest.

Rolling out her sleeping bag, she pulled out three ration meals to heat up quickly over the fire. Sitting in front of it and motioning for the others to do so as well, she looked at Masaki through the fire, exhaling loudly before she spoke, taking quite a serious tone this time. "Masaki, you have to learn how to hold your tongue. I know what you saw back there was...well by all accounts an atrocity. However, unless you want to end up like one of his torture victims you have to learn how to control your anger. Stepping out of line like that can jeopardize a mission and even your squad's lives. You have to think of the consequences." Taking the rations off of the fire, she tossed one to each of the boys and began to open hers, saying aloud to Masaki, "But don't worry, that kid's not gonna get away with this. Once we tell Luo about this he'll think of something."
After taking the time to eat, Aoi smiled brightly at them as usual, a sign that she was about to say something they wouldn't like. "So Masaki, your punishment is another set of weights tomorrow! Oh, and don't forget to start thinking about what your gonna put in your mission report! It's your first one so Luo might be a little lenient, but I'm sure both of you have a lot to say about this mission." Giggling a little, Aoi yawned and stretched her arms as she stood, walking towards her sleeping bag and getting in. "Get some sleep kids, we got a journey ahead of us tomorrow."
