Lanie peeked in to see what was going on but was completely lost so instead she clung to Lance's leg and remained quiet. Even if she didn't know what was going on she knew something was wrong my the condition that Vemp was in.
Ca-Talia finally gained her senses of the room and bowed quickly, "I will fetch miss Vempyremon some water, something to eat, and whatever else I can gather!" Quickly she made her way out of the room and down the hall to collect what was needed.
Lucus pet her hair and held her close, "Love.. what happened to you.. What did this..? I'll kill it.. Have it put to death.. Put the sorry beast out of it's misery for harming you!"

Lance continued to watch for the moment until his stomach growled and the pain returned to his abdomen from it being empty. If he got his pastries quickly, he could come back to see what happened. He grabbed for Lanie's hand and drug her off towards the kitchen before they both starved from lack of food. Despite the fact, that it was almost lunch time, no one could ever deny a toaster pastry.
For the moment, after feeling if Lucus was there or not, he didnt even seem to exist while Vempyremon tried to make some kind of a quick energy regeneration from running the whole way back. Not looking back. Not asking anyone else for help along the way. She just shook her head... "No. Please leave it be..."

Lanie tilted her head as she followed Lance off "Are we going to get food now while the grown ups talk..?" She questioned on the way to the kitchen, her little tummy having wanted food for some time but she didn't want to voice it.
"And why not?" He gave her a stern look, running a hand through her messy hair, "Why shouldn't I? It was a worthless and rabid beast. It has no use to anybody. Nobody would miss such a foul thing." His voice was low and harsh, every few words seemed to be followed with a growl. He really did want nothing more than to rid the world of what had done this to his mate.

"Perhaps." Lance just led her to the kitchen to grab the pastries in the toaster which were waiting for them. He gave Lanie the packets of icing so she could spread them on the pastries. He didnt want to take all the fun for himself. Though, he did want to hurry back to see if there was anyway he could assist. "Dont eat it all at once. You must take your time. No matter how hungry you are."
Vempyremon took a moment to look at all the stinging scratches she acquired from jumping through several brush and getting snagged by twigs. She feared Lucus' reaction and preferred to stall as much as she could, but with his eyes beaming at her, it was hard to keep it back. She feared being punished for it as well. "Kain caught me in the forest...Kain raped me." Vempyremon gave a quick gasp to herself as if a sudden loss of air. "I...I didnt see it coming."

Lanie took the icing and looked at it for moment, "Mmhm! Sure thing Mister Lance!" She nodded, wanting to eat the icing on it's own but knew it would in the end go so much better ON the pastry.
Lucus stood up, his eyes filled with rage, "How disgusting.. to such a woman in such a way..." The memories of his sister.. the night of the attack where he himself would have lost his life if it hadn't been for Akita flooded his mind. The blood curdling scream his sister had let lose before her death rang in his ears. "How filthy.. sickening..." Despite the rage tears could be seen forming, the tears of conflicting emotions. "I'll have his head... For doing such a thing...Vile.. vile monster..." As he closed his eye a tear escaped and rolled down his cheek, his hands clenching into tight fists.

Vempyremon made a reach for Lucus' hand, which was a fist, but quickly recoiled and put her hands on her head, brushing hair out of her face, but then letting it drop back in front of her eyes. Vempyremon felt rather horrible about it, nervously crossing her legs tightly as she sat on the chair. She could only shake her head to herself, but it wouldnt really do much good right now. "No... It wouldnt solve anything. Just...just only make things worse." Very clearly, though, does she remember that Kain didnt exactly seem to be his normal self. Whatever the 'excuse' may be to try and make it seem as if it isnt his fault, it probably wouldnt stop Lucus. Akita would be crushed at Kain's death, though, after she hears about this, she may not care for his death. It all seemed to go wrong.

"Why should I spare him after this!? Why should I let Akita be mate to a ROYAL who is off raping women in the woods!" Lucus hissed. Giving a harsh huff of air he took to pacing back and forth across the office, "I do not want to see his face. EVER. AGAIN. If I do I will surely have his head on a silver platter!" Lucus growled through clenched teeth. "There is no excuse! NONE EVER! For something like that!" Stopping he slammed his fist down on his desk, "I am going to send Ooy to get Akita. I do not wish to have her in the presence of such a man."

Lucus' fist slamming down on the desk made Vempyremon jump and raise her head out and away from her hands. The more Lucus got worked up, the more horrible she felt, but there wasnt anything she could have done about it now. "But...I thought he was rid of me. Something is amiss." Shamefully, Vempyremon got out of the chair and backed up, still with her hands close to her, but crossed on her chest tightly for some kind of comfort. "You...you cant do that, though. He has children on the way."

"And how is something amiss?" He stood with his back to her, "He had the potential to do it all along. He could have been acting for all we know. Using Akita as some kind of cover up while he waited for the perfect moment to spring on you." He turned to face Vemp again, his body somewhat more relaxed then before, "Children on the way or not.. I'd best have Akita out of there before she finds out and takes off on her own.. That isn't something we need on top of this. If she is here. The children will be safe. Safe from outside harm. And safe from their father."

"I suppose you're right..." Vempyremon continued to hold onto her shame and stepped back more. Others' rage made her cringe, and she was too afraid to deal with Lucus' wrath. Despite her own temper which she could hardly tame. "I dont know. It all seems wrong. Kain would never break any kind of commitment. That ambitious b*****d. I've known him for more than ten years to know he wouldnt do that." Vempyremon shook her head, trying to come up with her own excuses to make herself think that maybe it was someone else. It was dark, but it was hard to not notice those cold, ice shattering eyes glowing in the blackness. "Maybe it was someone else..." There was still also the thought that maybe Kain never got rid of his infatuation with her. It was so stressful to think about. "No. Something must have led it on. I'm not going to put full blame on him until I know what happened."

Lucus gave somewhat an annoyed snort as he picked up the phone and dialed a number quickly, "Ooy. I need you fetch Akita. No matter her protests I need you to bring her here. Do not give her any reason aside from that is is urgent. Do this now please." Hanging up the phone her turned his attention back to Vempyremon. "You and he and whoever can come up with as many excuses as they like. That does not change what he did. That can NEVER be taken back Vempyremon." He closed his eyes and stood in silence for a minute before walking over to the window, only to stare out into the open area below, his arms behind his back which was once again turned to her. "Please Vempyremon.. Have a seat and rest.."

Vempyremon just stood still in her spot, away from the chair, and farthest away from Lucus for the moment. The conversation wouldnt go well if she tried to argue back, still believing that there was some other link to all this. Something that started it. Vempyremon didnt say anything and watched Lucus with worry-furrowed eyebrows. There wasnt much to say to the situation to begin with. It was hard to start crying again with all the tears that she already cried out. Dehydrated probably. But she felt like crying again, even if it were just dry sobs. Vempyremon stood a few minutes more before she hunched over a little bit and took a hand to her lower abdomen. She didnt say anything more until it started cramping. "I...I feel pain."

Lucus quickly turned to look at her, "What is wrong Vempyremon..?" He made his way back over to her, placeing a hand carefully on either of her shoulders, "Please, please come sit down!" He urged her trying to get her to go over to the chair to sit down and rest finally.
The door to the room slipped open as Ca-Talia returned, setting a try down on Lucus' desk. A pitcher of water, some crackers, a cloth and a few other assorted things lay upon it. "Miss Vempyremon.. Please drink.." She lifted the pitcher and poured a full glass of nice crisp fresh water, "It must have been quite awhile since you've last had nutrients.. eat as well.."

Vempyremon shook her head abruptly, her mood suddenly shifting to a more darker tone now that the pain and nausea kicks in. Perhaps it may just have been lack of food and sleep, but that wouldnt change the fact that there were still more things to come. "What's the point? If...if Kain's seed starts growing in me, you'll want it dead. If you want it dead, you'll have to kill me before it's too late. I dont believe in abortion. And you're sure as hell not going to kill an innocent just because of its...its relation to Kain. He doesnt have to see it...And this thing doesnt have to know. IF. Only if."
Lucus, standing in the doorway, suddenly covered Lanie's ears so she doesnt have to hear the immense death-speaking from Vempyremon. He hurriedly stuffed his pastries into his mouth to make his way back to see what was going on. He just barely stepped into the conversation before having to censor the words for Lanie's sake. Lance didnt know what was going on, but his curiosity rose.

Lucus made a bit of a face as he stared at his mate, the thoughts of what had happened when he almost off'd Acheron's two sons came to mind... He wouldn't dare harm Vempyremon. But the idea of harboring the child of a man he hated with a deep passion was hard to proses. "Are you saying.. for me to father this child..? Have it know me as it's father if this happens..?" He moved a hand off her shoulder and motioned to stroke her cheek, a bit of a frown taking over his face, "If this is what you wish... But if it does happen... I do wish for Kain to have no interactions with it. And I wish for it not to know that Akita's young are it's siblings."
Lanie blink looking up at Lance questioningly when he covered her ears. She hadn't even the slightest idea as to what was going on other than that everyone was quite upset about something. "Did I do something bad..?"
