Ieyasu had remained out on the patio with Osusuki for a while, watching the little gryphon find his feet, so to speak. From the start, the Aerandir had seemed curious of everything, wanting to check out everything on the patio despite still being a little wobbly.

After taking a good look at the little potted bamboo garden, Osu had decided to return over to Ieyasu. Except, this time, he tried to notch up his pace. He trotted over to where the disguised youkai was sitting. Only, he moved a little too fast for his own good and ended up sprawled all over the ground. That was something he'd have to practice at. Picking himself back up, the gryphon gave himself a shake. Then, decided to try to clamber up his guardian. Placing his front paws on Ieyasu's thigh, the young Aerandir crouched for a moment before trying to launch himself up onto the youkai's lap. Wings flapping in an attempt to help stabilise him, he scrambled up.

With the sudden scrabbling of tiny sharp claws against his leg, Ieyasu gave an involuntary twitch, sitting up sharply. With the gryphon's wings beating furiously, he had a sudden flurry of feathered limbs in his face to boot. Bringing his hand up to still Osu a little, he grinned.
"Careful there. Don't want you hurting yourself so soon" There wasn't much in the way of shyness with this little one.

Osu twisted around in Ieyasu's lap almost excitedly, seeming rather pleased with himself. As Ieyasu reached a hand over to still his frantically flapping wings, Osu stopped. Something new to play with! Twisting his long neck, the gryphon nipped at his guardian's fingers playfully. Then, he decided to jump back down again.

Landing rather clumsily on the ground, he picked himself back up, raising his broad wings. Arching his neck, he moved around in a circle playfully, giving a short, shrill trumpet.

A tiring day it had been already for Fae, it was growing to the point the sun was setting beyond the horizon. Had needed the wall to be examined on the west side of her house in preparation of Rahujo's visit.

Pueblo had taken a nap until she thought it was dark enough, padding through the open door onto the front porch. She gave a little hoot and listened to it echo through the village and listened, complacent with the sound.

Fae looked over and waved for her gryphon. "Hey Pueblo. I see you woke up finally. Foenix had came over awhile ago and picked everyone up. Come over here and help me decide where the stove should go?"

Pueblo looked befuddled- so this is why she couldn't find Nehanda. She had been tricked into sleeping away her play time with her friend! She stretched her wings off her back, front paws craning out before her and drummed her claws against the wooden floorboards. Swishing her tail, she hopped down the two stairs and ran stedfast over to her guardian.
Pueblo slowed her pace and stared at the blank wall absently. What, there was nothing interesting to look at here! She looked up to her guardian boredly, then walked up to the wall and scratched at it. Putting her two front paws against the wall and standing on her hind legs, she engraved a few lines into it, thin foils of the wall peeling away.

Fae watched Pueblo finally step back and admired her chicken scratch. But it wasn't chicken scratch, or at least didn't seem that way. There seemed to be a few lines forming the shape of a star. Fae studied it as Pueblo boredly trotted someplace, staring off into the distance. Fae admired the star before she followed Pueblo's direction of sight; there, she could barely make out the form of a brightly colored creature lanking around Ieyasu's porch. Suddenly, Pueblo ran fast, eventually flying right up to perch behind Ieyasu silently, unoticably.

Suddenly, Osusuki stopped, craning his long neck to get a better look at something behind Ieyasu. Giving a short call again, he trotted around his guardian and closer to Pueblo. He wanted a closer look at the new arrival.

Seeing something abruptly catch Osu's attention, Ieyasu twisted to look behind him. Quietly, the gryphon that Fae was looking after (Pueblo, wasn't it..?) had approached and was now sitting behind him. Ah. That explains it. Smiling slightly at the owl Aerandir, he looked up for a brief moment. Fae shouldn't be far if Pueblo was sitting behind him.

Now that the waning moon was over, she found it safe to venture from her home or Miefu to associate with the people of Gaia. After all, she didn't want *too* much getting out about her humanity... that would be unsafe.

Appearing about a foot off the ground because of lack of concentration and about twenty feet from the small group, she she grimaced and cursed under her breath as she hit the ground. In her arms was a large basket with red cellophane covering it. The basket was bulging so much with "goodies" that the wrap was barely able to contain everything inside and as a consequence was both stretched and had weird angular edges.

Indeed, Fae had ran across the community and over to Ieyasu's place. Boy was she out of shape with all her huffing and puffing. She finally caught her breath, stopping a short distance ahead. Fae didn't really enjoy the thought of Ieyasu seeing her this way, or anyone for that matter. Catching her breath, she un-did her hair and combed a few fingers through it, the hair tie held in place around her wrist. Her dark hair stopped about mid back and adjusted her fingers upon the bridge of her nose, stepping up to his porch. "Evening, Ieyasu," she greeted, then suddenly caught sight of the gryphon. "Wow...is that.." she couldn't think of its name. Had Ieyasu ever given it to her before? She couldn't remember. "Your gryphon is quite large and beautiful,"she smiled, her bright green eyes fixed upon it.

Pueblo's head move about, very much bird-like as she first eyed the new Aerandir curiously. She was still cautious, but he had caught her intrest, or at least the wiff of a new gryphon. As Ieyasu looked at her, she cocked her head to the side, much more than any normal bird could. "Peep?" She eyed the new Aerandir, watching as it clumsily wobbled around.

Ah, there she was.. Ieyasu thought as Fae caught up with her charge. He wondered how she would be towards him, considering all that had gone on the last time they had spoken. She had seemed somewhat suspicious of him after Syrenrei's comments, afterall. So it was a mild surprise when she greeted him cordially.
"Hey there." Glancing from Fae to Osu, he grinned slightly. "Yep, that's Osusuki. He gave me a fair surprise this afternoon."

Osusuki watched Pueblo for the briefest of moments. Circling around close to the other Aerandir, he was obviously curious and not in the least bit shy. He just wanted to know what she was. Stopping beside her, he tilted his head, his elegant neck arching as he studied the gryphon. His bushy tail flicked back and forth as he stood there, bold as brass in front of the older Aerandir.

Ieyasu grinned as he watched the Aerandir, keeping a close eye on them in case something went awry. Until someone else close by caught the corner of his eye. Looking up, he spotted the hanyou that he had met a few days ago. She was holding a bulky object, wrapped in red. Gazing at her for a moment, Ieyasu suddenly grinned over in her direction, giving her a nod before turning his attention back to the gryphons. She looked like she was feeling better anyway.

Syrenrei shuffled over, eyeing Osusuki and Pueblo in particular with wariness. Despite what she had heard about them, they still made her uneasy just because they couldn't be classified in her mind into a very logical category. Animal-bird-things-that-became-anthro-things-and-could-talk. n_n;;; Oh dear.

Once she had wandered close enough to hand him the basket, she did so, extending her arms and waiting for him to take it. If he intended to refuse, she was holding it right over his lap and it would be absolutely no trouble whatsoever to drop it there and make him accept her generousity.

Fae smiled at Ieyasu, eyeing his appearance. She remembered thatlast time she had seen him, he had Syrenrei with him. The fact that she knew he was youkai didn't bother her as much as it intruiged her; the girl was always quick to learn new things. She shifted around uncomfortably for a moment in silence.

Pueblo's head lowered into her haunches, trying to nerve the new Aerandir. Her stark white face didn't seem to be effecting him, but perhaps only interested him. She gave a small trill before her wings unfolded and beated in front of the Aerandir's eyes. Pueblo quickly flew from the ledge onto Ieyasu's shoulder, her wing spand so limited under a sheltered porch.

Fae finally walked up and eyed the new gryphon. "What's 'is name?"She asked before someone was beside her. Startled, she jumped to the side. Syren? Where'd she come from?! And what did she have? "Syren?" She blinked.

Osusuki tilted his head to the side, watching the other Aerandir. As Pueblo took off, he took a slight step back, raising his own wings. Arching his neck, he beat his own wings a few times, uneffectively. It was almost as if he was experimenting with the use of them. Trumpeting shrilly again, he trotted back over to Ieyasu. Then he noticed Syrenrei standing over Ieyasu. So many new things to look into! Excitedly, he took off around the back of Ieyasu, scrabbling with his paws. Slipping slightly on the smooth wood as he tried to stop himself, he pulled himself up again to nose at the new person's shins.

Ieyasu almost instinctively brought his head down as Pueblo flew right up to him. He didn't really want to get battered with those wings of hers. Surprisingly, the other gryphon landed on his shoulder. Surely she was a little big to be there comfortably? Ieyasu wasn't exactly very heavily built. And then he realised that Syrenrei was almost on top of him too, standing above him and holding out that red parcel - which he now realised to be a basket. He stared at her curiously for a moment.
"You're offering that to me? Why?"

"Oh, hello Fae," she smiled brightly, and then looked at Ieyasu. "I brought you this because you helped me." She kept smiling brightly as he held it out, but it was sort of slowly inching its way closer to his lap as her arms wobbled and shook. With the puny twigs of arms she had, it was amazing that she had been holding it out even for a few seconds and not dropping it on his groin.

As Syrenrei's arms wobbled lower and lower, Ieyasu realised just where the basket would hit if she dropped it. And it didn't look to be the lightest of items."Uh... careful. You don't want to drop that...." He reached up to take the basket from her, bracing himself for the weight. His arm movement probably dislodged Pueblo too, but he really would prefer that Syrenrei didn't drop that basket.

Meanwhile, Osusuki poked around Syrenrei's ankles some more, the edge of one of his wings brushing lightly against her leg. Stepping back after a moment, he sat back, craning his head back so he could look upwards. He called out again, this time a little softer, if only because he was preoccupied.

Fae stared blankly at Syren's greeting as the two demons seemed to have their own moment, going way to slow. She half frowned and looked around idly into the cool night's wind. For once, it wasn't as hot, but refreshing. Strands of her feathery hair flowed around her shoulders and had remembered why she came here in the first place. "Pueblo, you shouldn't run off like that." She held her arms out, ready to catch her.

Pueblo was only slightly larger than the Aerandir, but she clung to his shoulder as best she could with uncontrolled claws. Finally, she found all this movement annoying and polietly flew over to her guardian's out stretched arms.

Fae stroked Pueblo's head softly and walked over to the rail. Hopping upon it, she allowed her legs to dangle, staring off into the night sky along with her gryphon, gently cooing against her chest. She was silent, giving the two privacy. She really had no reason to be here, but she found her surroundings quite comfortable and would wait until an exit gave her reason.

Her arms were frozen as he took the basket and both of them could easily see Syrenrei's face go white as she stared down at Osu in complete and utter fear, despite the fact she was easily ten times its size.

Five.

Four.

Threetwoone.

"Agggh!" She darted away from Osusuki and, obviously not thinking of Osu's wings, scurried up the closest tree she came to, panting and staring at the cat-size-creature as if it was half-demon instead of her.

Ieyasu grunted faintly as he took the weight of the basket. Ok. He really was glad that she didn't drop that. It would have hurt. As he went to sit the basket down nect to him, Pueblo abruptly flew off of his shoulder and back to Fae. He glanced after her, noticing that Fae had moved off already. Odd..that was a sudden arrival and departure... He didn't have time to think much further than that as Syrenrei suddenly shrieked out loud and bolted away.

He stared after Syrenrei, his expression seeming utterly confused. What the hell was all that about?

Osusuki was perplexed. He moved after Syrenrei for a short distance, but had no way of keeping up with her. His last attempt at running had ended up with him sprawled over the ground. He stood for a moment watching after Syrenrei. That other new creature had disappeared off too. The only living thing left on the porch with him was Ieyasu. Crowing softly again, he turned, heading back over to his guardian. Managing better this time, he clambered up onto Ieyasu, splaying his white and black wings briefly before folding them against his back.

((Actually, Fae is still on his porch- just sitting down on the railing if there is any. If there's not, she's sitting on a step o.x))

The girl jumped as the once quiet surroundings shattered from Syren's shriek. Watching her dash away, she blinked and quickly looked behind her at Ieyasu. She gave him a what did you do?! look. "Eh.." She looked where Syren had gone to, then back at him, now leaning against the porch support. "What happened?" She finally asked, voice slightly more uncaring then when she had shown up. Clearly she was tired. Perhaps.

Pueblo fidgited around in Fae's arms, the noise as well spooking her. She then begun to idly pick at Fae's hair band on her wrist, gently snapping it against her guardian's skin.
