Everything seemed familiar, as if he'd been here a thousand times already, as he was pulled through the streets by whom seemed to be his younger sister. On the other hand, he knew he wasn't familiar with this area, he'd never been here before.
"Shino..." His pet nickname, "Where are we going." The girl looked at him incredulously.
"We're going home Sanu-kun." Seemed odd. Although then again, he knew that he was going home, he knew that he had a mother and father at home, they'd finished work only ten minutes ago. Then again, he could also remember...what could he also remember?
Every time he tried to think back to what exactly was wrong, his mind would cloud and he wouldn't be able to focus. When the two got home, Sanu as he now called himself allowed his sister to go off to greet their parents ahead of him. Placing his jacket on the jacket holder, he poked his head round the door.
"Kaa-san...Tou-san." (Mom, Dad) Then he headed to his room. It was small, very small, even by Japanese standards, he had a small bed, a small dressing table but no space to turn around. He flopped onto his bed staring up at the ceiling. Of course his sister was just above with just the same amount of room but she was smaller. A few moments passed as he tried to think just what was going on. A knock at his door, Sanu spoke "Yeah?" As the door slid open his mom stood with a tray in one hand, a drink and some other light refreshments.
"Are you okay? I brought you a sandwich, duck egg mayonnaise, just how you like it with a clove of garlic." Sanu sat up.
"You didn't need to do that you know." Sanu looked up but his mouth salivated. For some reason he had a feeling he wouldn't like the drink she had brought him. Ice tea. It was by no means his favorite but it was hers. Unlike usual, his mom didn't turn to leave, instead she waited patiently for an answer. 'She must be quite worried' Sanu thought and after taking a bite out of his Sandwich decided to reassure her, "I'm fine really!" He smiled.
The mother, in her late forties looked at him skeptically as if he'd done something completely out of character.
"Shinobu tells me that you forgot where you were going on the way home...and that you've been going d-," A loud scream cut her off and his eyes unfocused. His mother couldn't have heard it as she merely cocked her head and sighed, "Just like that..." She pressed her hand against his forehead, seeing if it was a fever, it wasn't.
"Oh it's nothing really, I just feel a bit odd that's all."
"And you seemed to have lost your speech impediment." Sanu's eyes widened, "You used to stutter a lot remember." He did, he remembered when he first tried asking a girl out, he'd never lived that down...in fact that had stayed with him even now, but now, he didn't have that impediment. It was odd, "Eat up, I'll come back later." She left leaving him to his own little world.

(and you dare complain at me Anru? burning_eyes )
Mitsuoki nodded to Tsuriai, although he found it odd she hadn't yet commented on the young boy's death...or whatever it was Soul Society called these incidents. His left arm was still completely dead, thus he tucked his left hand into his kimono.
"Yeah, you're right." He smiled surprised a little at how easily she'd taken his hand, "There's a little courtyard through here." He gestured through the hole in the wall, "And a house on the other side that we can use. He headed off towards it stepping over the deceased bandits, they too were fading, but they didn't fade as quickly as Anru's body. Something wasn't quite right there.

Yu was a little surprised at Roselily, she must be clairvoyant, then again it had been a gift of the elves for a long time, it was quite a rare ability now, even amongst the elves. The ability to know what is going on over large distances.
"I know, he's returned to the realm of the living." That didn't explain the shift he'd felt in the flow of souls no matter how momentarily it had been.
As the group journeyed they naturally got closer to Seireitei and he saw the citadel in all its glory. Strangely, the natural defense of the citadel seemed to be operational but the gates were wide open. They were now on the main road heading directly for the citadel.

Occassionally Quellu would look back to make sure no-one was following them, and this distracted her from the destination, but Yu's comment had turned her attention fully to the marble white buildings.
Her jaw dropped.
"Commander!" She gasped, "It's gone." She stared at the buildings infront of them.

"I'm afraid you'll have to do better than that Quellu." Yu didn't seen anything wrong, the buildings were in fairly good shape.

Quellu looked back, clearly they'd been away for far too long if the Commander was missing things like that.
"The tower sir. The white tower. It's gone." She pointed to where the tower used to be. It was an important landmark in Seireitei, almost everyone could see it and it was where they kept some of their most dangerous criminals.

Yu had never considered himself the most observant person, in fact, he'd go as far to say that he wasn't observant at all, he was the ruler of the Gotei 13 he wasn't supposed to observe everything... then again, some would argue against that. Even still, the mere thought that the White tower had disappeared sent shivers up his spine.
"That can't be." Yet there was no tower. He was confirming it with his own eyes and realization was beginning to dawn on him. Yet it couldn't be. Lethality Stone had it's name for a reason. While it negated Reiryoku, it also drained energy from any nearby source...too much exposure could theoretically kill a Konpaku and heavily wound a Shinigami. No...it must be some other stone.... his thoughts whirled around his head, but he couldn't waste time.
"We must hurry." At that point he picked up a little speed, breaking from a walk to a run.

Sumiko turned around suddenly, still feeling the odd presence. It started to surround her, she drew her katana quickly.
"Come out and fight you coward! Stop hiding from me! I know you are there!" Sumiko yelled, hopefully not loud enough to alert any guards. On impulse, she chanted "Pulse! Shinku Amaya!" Her reiatsu fluctuated slightly.
The presence surrounded her but then formed into a single point, a demon-like form. It started walking but suddenly stopped. Sumiko stood with a confused look on her face but waited for its attack. The demon did nothing but slowly walk towards her. She lifted her katana readying herself for a fight. The demon was now so close that it touched the tip of the blade and lowered it to Sumiko's side. Sumiko was paralyzed and could not move. The demon spoke to her in an eerie voice ~ "Hello Sumiko. Do not be afraid of me, for I will not hurt you. We are allies even if you did not know it." It waited for her response, releasing the paralysis on her. Sumiko collapsed onto the ground and stared up at the mysterious figure. All the words she could find to say were, "Who are you?"

Then Roselily's head started spinning again, this time in a greater force. She fell to her knees, holding her head, trying to get it to stop. She gasped, saying," I... can't... think...UH!!" She fell flat on her face, swallowed up in darkness , the pain being too unbearably.

The Assaian dodge, as the HUGE hollow smashed the tree behind him. Somehow, the creature had snuck up behind him, and if the little girl had not seen it, he would be close to, or dead. He leapt up into the tree, as the creature took another swipe at him. The little girl had got away to a safe distance, but she didn't go any farther, staying to watch. ' Her funeral,' he thought, as he brought out his blades. He was not going to protect her. He only looked out for one being: Himself.

Yu glanced to his right. A hollow had appeared in the Shinigami's realm again, it was quite a large one, which was expected, he'd have been more worried if it were a smaller one. Something odd was happening over there. A smile crept over his lips, not because of the hollow but because he was starting to gain a little more of his strength back.
As he ran straight for the gates of Seireitei, goosebumps crawled up his arms. Was he frightened or excited of returning home...or the waiting rebels he knew would be waiting for him.

Little did Roselily know, that someone saw her fall. Or someones. They watched as Yu began to run toward the gate, knowing why. They smiled among each other, then beagn to slow creep up to where she was laying, helpless....

Sumiko had the feeling that Yu and the others were in the midst of a battle. She worried about them, almost forgetting about the demon in front of her.
The demon spoke once more. "Hmm. That is to be expected..." it paused for a moment and continued. "I have created my own persona, and yours as well." Sumiko was astonished yet slightly confused at this comment.
Once more it replied, this time it changed its form into a beautiful, yet sinister looking woman wearing an eye patch and a top hat. "I am you. Your other personality. Your extremely dark side. As you would call it- Evil."
Sumiko once again looked confused but also felt as if this was expected to happen.

Agreeing with her commander, Quellu ran along side him not wanting to be left behind quite so soon. It also seemed he was being considerate as well for she knew even as powerless as he was he could out run any of them at the moment.
As she thought about the Lethality stone as well, she was beginning to notice certain similarities between Lethality stone and the stone that the Konpaku had been used, yet that was impossible. Lethality stone had it's name for a reason.
"Commander...how could the Konpaku use Lethality stone?" It was a large assumption, hopefully he had the answer.

"Roselily...do you know anything about Lethality stone?" Yu asked. Strangely there was no response and he looked behind him. No Roselily. Why why did that girl always disappear, he halted in mid-step, holding out his arm to catch a momentum bound Quellu the searched the street with his eyes.
It seemed like Roselily had fallen over some time ago, "We're missing someone. Quellu, lets go." Yu charged back.
