MISSION - That's the Spirit!
Any Team Aqua member is asked to go to Mt. Pyre and catch a ghost pokemon.

Pokemon:
Duskull
Shuppet

Funds upon completion: 300

Nick hurriedly stepped out of the teleporter, looking up at the menacing tower that stood before him, the moon’s light just barely shining through. “Well… This place is creepy… But it’s probably just the fact its night…” he reassured himself, striding into the ominous building.

The second he stepped in he felt the temperature drop. “H-huh… Kind of w-weird…” he shivered a little. “Z-Zero, come on out… Give me s-some company…” Nick welcomed the Pokémon out. “Toto- d-dile…” it stopped, noticing the cold. “Come on, buddy…” he started, walking deeper into the building. A creepy fog was present, and a lady stood nearby. She slowly turned to face the trainer and Pokémon and walked up to them slowly. Nick’s paranoia level went up, this sounded like something out of a ghost story.

“Take off your cap… Pay your respects to the Pokémon, trainer…” she said in a monotonous tone, without blinking. Nick awkwardly removed his Team Aqua cap as he was told. “… I recognize that cap. Your people were here many years ago… You took the Red Orb… You made the sky full of rain… I do not trust you, trainer. Carry on about your business… But do not disturb the spirits…” she warned, stepping away silently without caring for a response from Nick.

A bead of cold sweat ran down Nick’s face, Zero remained silent with its jaw dropped. “B-but…” he stumbled. Her speech made him consider leaving the premises, but his chin rose. “I need to finish this.” Nick said, attempting to inspire Zero. “… T-Totodile!” it stuttered from the cold. “Alright! Let’s go!” he cheered, ignoring the cold, heading towards the stairs with Zero in hot pursuit.

Nick and Zero shuffled shyly amongst the graves on the upper floors of Mount Pyre. He felt the familiar feeling of being watched by a supernatural being, the same feeling he had while in that odd crater in Unova. He refused to pay it any attention, but it was slowly eating up at him. In the fog, he sometimes saw a strange red dot move, but he assumed it was a lantern swaying with the draft of the open windows. “D-Don’t panic… Don’t panic…” Nick began chanting the title page of a very trustworthy guide he had read as a kid. A mischievous laughter came from the fog.

“Who’s there?!” Nick exclaimed, the cackle growing louder. “Duskull….” It mocked Nick and Zero. “Totodile!” it exclaimed angrily, as a red dot appeared hovering before them, a skull super-imposing itself over it, and then the shape of a Pokémon. It shot Zero a Mean Look with a taunting snicker. “Totodile!” Zero angrily bellowed, attacking the Duskull with a nasty Bite attack. “Duskull!” it yelped in pain. Despite its high defenses, the Pokémon was down to about 50% energy. “Alright, Zero!” Nick cheered. The Duskull’s eye glowed, and it snapped its arms together.

“Zero, hit it with another Bite!” Nick commanded this time. Zero stood there for a second, wondering why it could not bring itself to attack. “Wait… That was a Disable!” Nick exclaimed, observing the Duskull calmly stand its ground. Taking advantage of the situation, it attacked again, this time with a ray of light. Zero started stumbling around, Confused. “Oh man… This is going to be hard…” Nick bit his lip. “Zero… Try using Water Gun!” he commanded. “To To Totodile?” it staggered into a grave, taking small damage. “Duskull…” the enemy taunted. It blended into the shadows, then grabbed Zero, smacking him against the grave harshly. “Shadow Sneak….” Nick whispered, pondering his next move.

“Zero, try another Water Gun!” Nick commanded. This time, Zero managed to pull through and spat a stream of water into the Duskull’s face, doing minor damage. “Duskull…” it lamented, growing weary of the situation. It summoned a small entity of fire, a Will-O-Wisp, which wandered towards Zero. Staggering around in confusion, the attack missed. Shortly afterwards, Zero snapped back into his right state of mind. “Totodile!” it composed itself. Unable to keep up the illusion, the fog started gradually vanishing from the battlefield, and Nick felt himself warmer.

“Alright, Zero!” Nick grinned, not noticing that Duskull was behind the ambience. “Hit it with Water Gun, one more time!” he ordered, pulling at an empty Poké Ball from his belt. The Duskull took the hit, thinking it could give it one more attack before giving in. “Duskull… Dusk… DUSK!” it cried, forming a glob of Ghost energy made of shadows. The Shadow Ball hit Zero, who just barely stood after it. “Good enough!” Nick announced, tossing the Poké Ball at the Duskull. One shake… Two shakes… Three shakes… Sparks!

“Yeah!” Nick celebrated, grabbing Zero from the ground. It let out an enthusiastic cheer, and then fell asleep, resting to heal its wounds. “Alright! Welcome to the team, Ecto!”he scooped up the ball with his spare hand, then made his way down stairs.

Finally outside, Nick put on his Team Aqua cap again, feeling proud. He blinked twice, exhausted. “Man…” he noted, “It must be midnight…” he stepped through the teleporter, back to the Team Aqua HQ. He didn’t care for the lady who had threatened him earlier, he would deal with it later.

This was another wonderful mission! I definitely like your style of battling, I'll admit. Great detail, albeit short, still good. The fact that it's short just proves that it is hard to make a story out of a go-here-do-this style briefing depending on your style of writing, I guess.

Call it a success, 200 more PD and a Duskull.

(eh I already have a bad feeling, I am telling you now, this was spell checked and grammar checked. so don't judge me!)

In the world's past, there were once humans that could sense and control its power. These humans, known as Aura Guardians, traveled around doing good deeds and passing on their skills to those who also possessed this innate ability. One famous Aura Guardian was Sir Aaron who took a Lucario as his apprentice and became a hero.

The Aura Guardians disappeared from history for some reason a long time before the present era. But they're making a return. Do you have the gift?

Since Rex has been having so many strange visions and visits to the Dream World (involuntarily), he decided to test himself for the potential of an Aura Guardian. Rex was flying to Kanto with the help of his Heracross, who was carrying Corphish on its back/head. “This might shed some light on these strange visions, don’t you think so Corphish?” Rex asked.
“Corphish!” Corphish nodded. Heracross buzzed to the hardly missed Cameran Palace. Rex was so excited, what if could use the power of Aura? It would help his self-confidence a lot. Heracross began to land in the walkway in front of the castle. Rex released his grip on Heracross and Heracross let go of Rex. Rex landed on the walkway. “Thanks guys, return.” He returned both of his Pokemon. Rex walked up to the castle and right before he was going to go in, a Pidgeot swooped down to attack. “Woah!” Rex somersaulted out of the way. “That thing was massive.” He exclaimed.
Dex Entry:
Pidgeot
Bird Pokemon
By flapping its wings with all its might, Pidgeot can make a gust of wind capable of bending tall trees.
Dex Closed.
BATTLE START!
Rex: Go Cyndaquil! Cyndaquil used Flamethrower!
Pidgeot: Dodged! Used Gust!
Cyndaquil: Damage sustained. Flame Wheel!
Pidgeot: Critical hit! HP is medium! Quick Attack!
Cyndaquil: Damage sustained! HP is medium! Swift!
Pidgeot: Damage sustained! HP is low! Wing Attack!
Cyndaquil: Damage sustained! HP very low! Flamethrower!
Pidgeot: Dodged! Hurricane!
Cyndaquil: Fainted!
Rex: Return! Go Aron!
Aron: Iron Head!
Pidgeot: Fainted.
Battle ended.
The Pidgeot stood up again. It gave Rex an intense stare and then became pure blue energy and dispersed. “What was that?” Rex wondered.
A few minutes later…
Rex was lounging in the Castle’s common room. “Man we need to get something like this back at HQ!” Rex said. Not a moment later, he heard the sound of heels on tile. Rex stood up and tried to look dignified. He dusted himself off and made his hair look somewhat better. Queen Ilene appeared in the room. Rex stood up and bowed in respect. “Queen Ilene, it is an honor.” He said.
“Likewise.” She said softly.
“So this test?” Rex asked respectfully.
“Yes, you see, many humans have a gift to see Aura, so I set up a test that trainers can partake in to help people use those powers.” Ilene answered. “Your job is to find Sir Aaron’s scepter, which is hidden in the castle, and is also cloaked by a veil of Aura.”
“Ok, I am on it.” Rex said. “I will try to not mess up the castle.” He smiled and bowed again as she left the room. He began walking through corridors at random with no luck. After walking for what seemed like hours but had only been minutes, he stopped and leaned on the wall, exhausted. “This is impossible.” Suddenly, another vision.
The Scepter is in the place of the children.
Oh how playful they are. I wonder what kind of toys may be there.
The picture less vision ended. “Who is this voice?” Rex wondered. “Guess we will learn later.” He began thinking short, helpful thoughts. A place of children. Toys. Playful. Place. Playful Place. Playplace. Playroom! The scepter was in the playroom. Rex rushed down the hallway to the stairs that just kept going up and up. Rex began running up two steps at a time. After about a half hour, Rex arrived in the toy room. There were so many different toys. All of which, were covered in dust. Rex looked around for the scepter with no sign of it. “Wait a minute.” Rex closed his eyes and focused. “It’s here.” He told himself. A flash of white light. He opened his eyes and looked towards the corner, where the scepter leaned on the wall. “There you are.” Rex ran up to grab it when suddenly, blue energy shot out of it, landing right in front of the scepter. The Pokemon appeared out of the light, it was a Lucario. “You are a descendant of Aura Guardians.” He said using Telepathy. “You shall be tested.”
“Woah, you must be….” Rex said, opening his TADS.
Dex Entry:
Lucario
Aura Pokemon
A well-trained one can sense auras to identify and take in the feelings of creatures over half a mile away.
Dex Closed.
“Let’s do this!” They both said.
BATTLE START!
Rex: Go Heracross!
Lucario: Aura Sphere!
Heracross: Dodged! Aerial Ace!
Lucario: Critical hit! HP is medium! Aura Sphere!
Heracross: Damage sustained! HP is medium! Close Combat!
Lucario: Damage sustained! HP is medium! Aura Sphere!
Heracross: Fainted!
Rex: Go Treecko!
Treecko: Energy Ball!
Lucario: Aura Sphere!
Attacks collide and are struggling to overtake the other!
Treecko: Aerial Ace!
Lucario: Critical hit! Fainted!
Battle ended.
“You did well young one.” Lucario said. “Await approval from your leader.” And with that, Lucario was absorbed back into the scepter. Rex didn’t feel any different. “Well I guess that’s that.” Rex returned his Pokemon and headed back to the HQ.

I'm going to go ahead and fail this. The overall skeleton is good, but it's lacking a bit in a few departments. It has the beginnings of a decent story,

1. Double space between paragraphs, so there should be white space in between paragraphs. It makes things SO much easier to read (much like the space in between these paragraphs).

2. Pidgeot is probably a bit too much for Cyndaquil and Aron to take down. Maybe Pidgeotto, but I think that might be pushing it a bit. Maybe two Pidgey's would be a better opponent.

3. Also I'd like to see you use a bit more description in battles instead of just yelling out attacks and health bars. Plus the exclamation marks were annoying me (just had a calc test that dealt with factorials). Yes, it's a level 1 mission, but that doesn't mean you can't elaborate on the battles. It's a 2 page minimum, not maximum.

4. Maybe a bit more story? Keep up the good work!

Signed,
Ginji (possibly the hardest grader ever ^_^)

Nick stepped out of the teleporter as per usual. The effects were a little hard on him, but he was growing used to them. Looking around to place himself while at the same time regaining his balance, Nick spotted a castle far up ahead atop a hill. “Huh. I guess that’s my destination. Sure is a long way to walk…” Nick noted. Suddenly, an idea sparked in his mind. Pulling out the folding Aqua Bike DX from his bag, he grinned, patting himself on the back for bringing it along.

Casually riding his bike up a hill in the winding path, Nick realized he had the DX on Acro. “Huh. It’s no wonder I’m going so slow.” He noted, switching the gear at an unfortunate time. Too distracted to notice, Nick suddenly lost control of the DX, and he began a rapid descent downhill. “AAUGH!” he screamed, attempting to control the bike. Further down the road, a man in dark armor rode atop a Rapidash. As Nick got closer and closer, the Rapidash suddenly became unnerved, and it kicked the dark knight off his stallion. “Look out!” Nick yelled, ramming into the beautiful Pokémon. It barely felt the hit, and it cried out before running into the dark woods and disappearing.

“Ungh…” the man in dark armor grunted, getting up. Nick, knocked off his bike, also grunted, attempting to get up. “Skorupi, exact revenge upon this peasant!” the dark knight commanded, calling out his two Pokémon. “I, Sir Lantz believe in equivalent exchange.” He carried on darkly as Nick got up muttering apologies, which fell on deaf ears. “As you have made me lose my transportation, I will destroy yours. Skorupi, destroy his wheeled machine!” The two scorpion Pokémon happily obliged, hacking and slashing at Nick’s Aqua Bike DX. “Hey!” he yelled angrily. “I’m sorry! I didn’t mean to, but this is just uncalled for!” he exclaimed, attempting to pull the Skorupi from his bike.

His efforts were in vain; for it was already in shreds. “You dare lay hands on my Pokémon? I challenge your honor! Two-on-two, Gentleman’s rules!” Sir Lantz bellowed. “Skoru Skoru!” his Pokémon cried out, ready to fight. “Whatever you say, weirdo! Go, Hobbes and Ecto!” Nick responded, tossing his own combatants out.

“Quickly, the both of you! Use Pin Missile!” Lantz called out. “Skoru…” they started spitting needles at both of Nick’s Pokémon. “Pi Pi Pi!” they called upon firing. The damage sustained was minor, especially for Ecto who merely shrugged it off. “Let’s show this jerk, Hobbes! Use Electroweb! Ecto, use Night Shade!” he retaliated. “Jol tik tik!” the adorable spider responded, firing an electrically charged web from it’s hind-quarters at one of the Skorupi. The hit was not devastating, but it slowed it down. Ecto created a hallucination of himself to startle the other enemy, who took mild damage. He remained quiet, analyzing the situation.

“How dare you damage my Pokémon! You will suffer, worm! Skorupi, attack with Poison Jab, and you, use X-Scissor on that ghost!” Lantz barked, clenching his fist. Unable to get out of the way in time, Ecto was hit with a Poison Jab. He felt his strength was fleeting, only at half power. On top of that, he was poisoned. “Quick, before he lands the attack! Hobbes, use Electro Ball!” Nick commanded. Hobbes acted quickly, not only because it was fast, but because of the electric web slowing the enemy down. “Joltik!” it squeaked, firing an electric orb at the Skorupi. Its attack stopped, it collapsed mid-stride.
“You monster!” Lantz roared, outraged. “And now, Ecto! Hit it with a Shadow Ball!” “Duskull.” It nodded in agreement, tossing a glob of darkness at Skorupi. It was knocked back several feet, and looked as if it was down. “Sko…” it stood, much to everyone’s surprise. Ecto felt the poison’s effect, a tingling pain searing through his body. “Ha ha! Such is the power of a Dark Knight! Now, Skorupi, finish this cad off with a Poison Fang!” The Skorupi viciously charged forward at Ecto, who braced itself for impact. “Skoru!” its teeth sank down on the Duskull, injecting more poison into its already intoxicated body.

“Dusk…” it cried in pain, barely levitating. Its health was in the red, and things did not look good. “Dusk…” it cried again, its vision fading. “Jol tik tik!” the Pokémon angrily cried, watching its partner suffer. “No!” Nick called out, watching Lantz snicker. The Skorupi let out a smug taunting laugh despite being near knockout itself. “Hobbes, finish him with a Bug Bite!” he ordered. Hobbes leaped at it, gladly returning the bite. The Skorupi collapsed shortly after, as did Ecto. “Hmmph.” Lantz said, not bothering to recall his Pokémon. He turned face and kept on walking.

“H-hey!” Nick recalled his Pokémon, whispering ‘Good Job’ as he ran over the Skorupis and the remains of his bike, catching up to Sir Lantz. “Hey, you jerk! Why do you leave your Pokémon lying there? They fought for you!” Nick angrily shouted. “A Dark Knight forms no friendships. Only alliances. They have outlived their usefulness.” He coldly responded, not facing him. This infuriated Nick, who grabbed his shoulder in anger. “Now listen, y-“ he was cut short by a blast of dark purple energy hitting him across the chest, which knocked him down. He cried out in pain, remnants of the mysterious energy burning like fire on his chest.

“Do not cross me, cad. If you so much as dare to look in my direction again…” Sir Lantz dramatically removed his helmet, revealing a man with long, dark hair and yellow eyes. “The consequences will be dire.” He threatened, clenching his fist as the energy pulsated around his hand. “Now go. March ahead. Do not turn back, or I will make you suffer.” Sir Lantz once again threatened. Nick staggered onto his feet, backing away silently, and then running up the road. Tears of pain and frustration ran down his cheek.

----------

Nick finally stood before the castle entrance, breathing heavily. Sir Lantz had taken a backseat on his mind as he noticed how huge it was. “Wow…” he said, walking forward across the bridge, and into the Main Hall. “Oh, hello, traveler.” A woman’s voice called out from the end of the hall. “Pleasure to see you! I do believe I know why you are here. My name is Queen Illain.” She continued, sitting at her throne. “Your majesty!” Nick approached her throne and bowed. “I am here to test if I have the Aura.” He respectfully stated his mission.

“Very well, traveler. State your name.” The Queen got up, grabbing a Scepter from the coat of arms behind her. “Nick Harris.” “Very well, Sir Harris.” She approached him. “You may take the Scepter of Aaron.” Taking it very carefully from her, Nick grasped it firmly. He waved it around a few times, attempting to do something. “Umm… What exactly am I supposed to do?” he asked curiously. “Oh… What a pity…” Illain lamented. “It appears you lack the power of the Aura… The Scepter of Aaron would have responded to you… I am very sorry, Sir Harris.” She looked down, motioning for Nick to return it. He did, with a sad complexion. “Do not worry, Sir Harris. Many lack the gift. Maybe you can succeed in something else. After all, Aura is not needed to be a great trainer!” she attempted cheering Nick up.

The second before Nick opened his mouth to thank her, a voice rang out the hall. “HALT!” it yelled. It was a familiar voice. Nick turned, weary of whom it was. Sir Lantz strode towards the throne, pushing Nick aside. ‘So that is what aura is…’ he thought. “No!” he pleaded. “You can’t let him try the Scepter!” Nick warned, attempting to wrestle it away from the queen. “Now now, Sir Harris… No need to be immature!” she struggled a little. Lantz laughed confidently, snatching it without effort from the royal and trainer. A dark pulsating energy emerged from the Scepter. The room became wrapped in shadows, and Sir Lantz began cackling. “Yes… YES!” he cheered.

Queen Illain backed away in fear, Nick stepping in front of her to shield her. “Drop it, Lantz!” he demanded, charging straight for him. A blast of aura slammed against him. “Don’t you disrespect me, maggot!” he boomed, slamming the scepter on the floor. “Guardian of the Scepter, give me your power!” Lantz thundered. From within the Scepter, the form of a Pokémon grew. A spark of blue aura appeared, and from within that aura, a mighty Lucario emerged. “Now, Lucario, let us take this castle!” Lantz commanded. Illain backed away silently, fearing for her life. “I listen not to wielders of the dark aura.” It defied, preparing itself in a fighting stance. “Oh, silence, you disobedient dog!” Lantz responded, slamming the Scepter down again.

A rush of purple aura seized Lucario and took his shape. Everything about it became more purple and dark, and its eyes shone bright red. Slowly getting up, horrified, Nick dared to defy Lantz. “Drop the scepter, Lantz.” He threatened, a Pokéball in his hand. “Lucario silence him.” He ordered. “Y-yes… M-m-master…” the possessed Lucario strode towards Nick awkwardly. It was obviously acting against its will, which would give Nick the upper hand. “Go, Buddy!” the small Pokémon looked at its opponent. “Give it a Stun Spore!” he commanded. Small yellow spores made their way towards Lucario, hitting it in the face.

“Hrnngh!” it cried, paralyzed. “Alright, good job! Use Absorb now!” Nick cheered Buddy on. The attack was not very effective, but he was laying damage on it at least. The Lucario countered this time, with a Force Palm. Buddy was taken aback, but it just barely lived. “Odd…” it winced. “Hit it with another Absorb!” Nick commanded. Lucario took more minor damage, but it was still fine. Again, it responded with a Force Palm. Oddish fainted, and Nick recalled it. “You did great, Buddy! Go, Hobbes!” Nick called out his next Pokémon.

“Jol tik tik!” it cried out excitedly. “Let’s slow this sucker down! Electroweb!” “Jol jol!” Hobbes complied, electric webbing covering and hurting Lucario. “Hrrmmm!” it yelled, trying to get a hold of itself. Lantz observed, confident his hold on Lucario would hold. The Lucario charged up a ball of energy, and then fired it at the tiny Pokémon. It wasn’t very effective, but it was still powerful. “Joltik…” it cried in pain. “Don’t worry… Hit it with another Electroweb!” Again, electric webbing damaged and coated Lucario, further slowing it down. The possessed Lucario was still faring well, but it was closer to yellow than green in health. It slammed Hobbes with a Force Palm, knocking it out. “RNA, come on out!” Nick summoned his doppleganger Pokémon.

“Ditto.” It transformed into Lucario quickly, following up with an Aura Sphere; Taking advantage of the fact Lucario was paralyzed. “HNGH! It cried in pain. The attack was super-effective, knocking it down to less than medium HP. The Lucario responded with an Aura Sphere of its own. It landed on RNA without a margin of inaccuracy. However, Lucario’s Aura Sphere was a critical hit, knocking out RNA. Nick recalled it quickly. “I’m sorry, guys… But… We’ll win!” Nick cheered on, despite knowing he was most likely going to lose.

“Zero! Finish the job! Use Water Gun!” he commanded. Zero complied, a powerful stream of water splashing on Lucario. “Compose yourself!” Lantz barked, starting to lose control. Illain looked on in terror, fearing for her castle. The Lucario was paralyzed, unable to attack. Its inner conflict also added to the struggle. “To To To Todile!” Zero cried. “You ready, Zero? Aqua Jet!” Nick commanded. Engulfing itself in water, Zero charged directly against Lucario, scoring a Critical Hit. Suddenly, the purple aura vanished from Lucario’s body. “Thank you.” He quickly said, turning his attention to a weakened Lantz.

Lucario charged at him, snagging the Scepter of Sir Aaron. The purple aura that had encased the throne room quickly vanished into nothingness as Sir Lantz collapsed to his knees, gasping for air. Lucario grabbed him, and smirked. “Your power is no more.” Draining the aura from his body, Sir Lantz collapsed, knocked out. Illain quietly approached them. “Thank you, Lucario, And Sir Harris.” She grinned, taking the Scepter from Lucario. “Thank you for saving me and my castle…” Nick bowed happily, Zero joining him. “Even though you cannot wield the power of Aura, I would like to name you an honorary knight.” She grinned.

“And thank you for freeing me of his possession. If you so wish, I can bestow upon you some aura.” Lucario offered. “That’s great!” Queen Illain cheered. Nick stood up, smiling. “Actually… No thank you. I’m not sure being an Aura Guardian is my calling.” Zero looked up at him, not expecting his answer. Lucario and the Queen were also taken aback. “Oh…” she said. “Well… Thank you anyway, Sir Harris.” She bowed to him. Lucario joined her quietly. The silence was broken by a grunt made by Sir Lantz. “What of him?” Nick asked.

“The authorities will be on there way shortly. For now, Lucario, would you kindly hold the prisoner?” she asked.

-------

After being knighted and walking back towards the teleporter, he sighed heavily. “Man… This was so pointless…” he looked down. “I’m going to embarrass myself when I return to the base…” Nick looked down sadly. His legs were exhausted, he had trekked all the way back since Sir Lantz destroyed his bike. “Sigh…” he stepped through the teleporter, heading to the HQ.

In truth, this is by far the best mission I've read. At least, it's my favorite. There was a great story line, the skeleton of the mission was good, there were very little errors in the writing, and you gave the mission your own little twist. Very good.

One thing I noticed awry is that the Queen's name is Illene, not Illain. I don't think that's grounds for failing you at all, though, seeing how it might be a common mistake. Still, for future reference, be sure to check the names of people mentioned in the mission notice. Not doing so could result in a fail. It's happened believe you me.

Another thing is your Ditto. Does it, perhaps, have the imposter ability. If so, ok then. But you'd have to have gotten Ditto from the Dream World for that one. If it didn't have the imposter ability, then it shouldn't have evolved on the spot. Meaning, you would first have to transform. This takes up a turn, and you would have most likely still fainted from an Aura Sphere. However, since its a level one mission, I'll overlook it. Keep that in mind, though.

Other than that, it was a great mission report, and a fun read. I really do expect greater missions yet from you. I also chuckled at your pun with Sir Lantz. Lantz, Lance, get it? Though I s'pose you would, since you thought it up.

Pass. Since you decided not to become an Aura Guardian, I award you an extra 500 PD. So, 1500 PD. Keep up the good work.

*Mission grade can be overturned or changed by higher-ups at any time*

P.S. Need your bike fixed? Come on over to the Mechanics' shop in the RP. I'll fix up your bike. For a price, of course. (I'll end up setting up a thread for that sort of deal in the bazaar, probably)

Pass. Since you decided not to become an Aura Guardian, I award you an extra 500 PD. So, 1500 PD. Keep up the good work.

*Mission grade can be overturned or changed by higher-ups at any time*

I just want to note to Tommy that the Lucario was Paralyzed plus his speed was down much further than half, the Ditto would move before it regardless of it's trainer calling an attack or not. [I used to battle without calling attacks. wink ]

Nick emerged from the teleporter inside Mauville’s Pokémon Center. Heading outside, he was surprised to see a bike store right next door. “Well. This mission should be real easy then.” Nick said confidently, striding towards the establishment with confidence. He could practically feel his new bike amongst the shipment of new DX’s to Team Aqua. He was finally going to start pulling some more weight! Walking into the Bike Shop, a pleasant bell rang. “Chime Chime!” the Chimecho at the front of the store greeted Nick.

“Why, hello!” Nick saluted it warmly. “Can you direct me to…” he pulled his TADS out, checking his mission description. “Umm… Rydel?” The Chimecho ringed merrily, floating towards the back of the store. Nick followed, and the Pokémon tapped on a door labeled ‘Manager.’ A chair creaked from behind the door and steps came closer. “What is it, Chimecho? A customer?” a friendly voice asked right before opening the door.

“Chime Chime!” it sounded. The door opened, and a man in business-casual wear stepped out. “Why, hello! My name is Rydel!” he introduced himself, taking Nick’s hand and shaking it before he could even offer it. ‘Friendly guy.’ He laughed a little before introducing himself. “My name is Nick! I’m here on behalf of Team Aqua.” “Team Aqua? Oh, you are among my biggest customers!” Rydel started. “So tell me, what can I do for you guys? Is it scrap metal? I happen to have quite an excess of it right now…” “Actually…” Nick interrupted him politely.

“… We would like a re-supply of Aqua Bikes.” He continued pleasantly. “Of the DX model, right?” he questioned, heading over to the counter where Chimecho floated. Rydel grabbed a clipboard and scribbled down an order. “Very well. But before I can put in your order, how about a quick battle? I just love seeing Team Aqua’s members in action! Besides, I’m sure your Pokémon can use just a little more experience.” Rydel put down the clipboard. Nick raised an eyebrow. He did not seem like the kind to know about battles, but he agreed. “Sure thing. So what are the rules?”

“One on one! But I’m a real sweetheart, so I’ll send my Pokémon out first, giving you a chance to trump me.” Rydel laughed. “Alright!” Nick stood, ready to battle. “Oh my heavens, you expect us to battle in here? My store will be wrecked! No, no! Let’s take it outside.” He smiled, walking outside. Nick followed as Rydel took a few steps back, creating a metaphorical arena. “Come on out, Doduo! It’s time to have some fun!” he announced, tossing a Poké Ball into the air. A two-headed bird appeared from the red beam. “Doduo!” it cried. “Alright, come on out, Zero!” Nick ordered, tossing out his prized Totodile.

“Totodile!” it yipped happily. A ring of spectators formed, each cheering for either Pokémon. Doduo, being the faster Pokémon, attacked first. “Hit it with a Fury Attack!” Rydel commanded. “Do…” it charged at Zero. “Duo Duo Duo!” it landed three hits before Zero managed to escape the stream of attacks. Its will to fight remained strong, as it eagerly awaited instruction. “Zero, take a Bite out of it!” Nick ordered. “Totodile!” it leaped at the Doduo, sinking its teeth in. “D’oh!” it cried in pain.

“You’re doing great, Nick! Now let’s spice things up a bit! Tri Attack, double time!” The Doduo unleashed an attack of Ice, Fire, and Electricity at Zero, the three connected. “Bite ‘em, Zero!” Nick ordered. Zero once again jumped towards Doduo, taking the Tri Attack head on. It hurt a lot more than expected, knocking his HP into the red. However, one of the three orbs of power remained in Zero’s mouth, namely the Ice one. The power of Ice strengthened the Bite attack, turning it into an Ice Fang. Doduo cried in pain once again. The super effective attack had also weakened it to the point of near unconsciousness. “Wow!” Rydel exclaimed. “That was awesome, Zero!” Nick grinned. The exhausted Pokémon gave a thumbs up as it observed its staggering opponent. “Doduo, let’s wrap this up with a Rage!” Before the Pokémon could charge at Zero, Nick shouted “Zero, quick! Use Aqua Jet!” Zero dashed towards Doduo, coated in water. Zero’s Torrent ability kicked in as he charged, the water becoming thicker, therefore allowing for more damage.

“Totodile!” The Doduo fell back, drenched in water. “Do… Do…” it moaned before shutting its eyes. “We won!” Nick cheered, embracing Zero. Rydel recalled his Pokémon as the crowd went wild with excitement. “Ha ha! Congratulations!” he approached Nick to shake his hand. The Chimecho from the store emerged through the crowd. It chimed happily, using Heal Bell on Zero. “Totodile!” it thanked it. “Heh heh. So what do you think, Rydel?” Nick asked.

“You’re a new member, right? You have promise.” Nick thanked him deeply as the crowd dispersed. The two made their way into the Bike Shop, where Rydel grabbed the clipboard and signed off on it. “Your order will be through sometime today. Expect your bikes soon!” he informed Nick. “Now, as for payment… I am sure you are not qualified to pay me for this, but please be sure to remind your supervisor about the bill. And don’t forget it, if anyone asks you about your bike, make sure you say ‘Rydel!’” Nick laughed with him, and then remembered his bike. “Actually funny story about my bike….”

-----

“… So how about it, Rydel? A complimentary bike?” Nick pleaded, having had told him about his destroyed bike. “I’m a real sweetheart, but I’m not made of bikes! Now out with you!” Rydel chased him, a little offended at Nick’s asking for freebies. He shut the door after he was gone. “You give two kids from Littleroot a free bike and then everyone wants a freebie…” he muttered under his breath.

((A little short compared to my other works, but there's not much I could do with this mission.))

Well... I'm not going to lie, you scraped the two minuted mark. Meaning, you're lucky I don't read faster than I do or I'd have to fail it.

Aside from that, again, and excellently written mission report. Your battle was wonderful, albeit short. I like the bit at the end where you mentioned Ruby and Sapphire, Er, I mean [whatever his name is] and May. Cute.

So pass, here's your 800 PD.

It was really hard to come up with something to make it longer. I wanted Rydel to be hiding near the casino or whatever, but it was out of character of him. I promise I'll write a longer mission next time, or at least take one on that requires more plot depth.
Thank you!

MISSION- Fearow of Water

A group of Fearow have been harrassing travelers near the Power Plant. To make things worse, they have our emblem on their legbands. Naturally, we're getting blamed for it. Go and stop the Fearow (fight 3-5) and bring back one of the legbands.

Pokemon obtainable:
Bellsprout
Oddish
Machop
Spearow

Rewards: 600-1200

“Fearow harassing travelers? Well, they are pretty territorial… But why would they have Team Aqua bands on their legs? That’s awfully odd. We’re getting a bad rep for this, guys!” Nick called his team together again to watch the news report. “Come on, we should stop them.” Nick continued, recalling his Pokémon. “Power Plant. Got it.” He grabbed his bag and slung it on, heading for the Power Plant teleporter.

Emerging from the other side, he greeted the workers of the Power Plant. They coldly ignored him, thinking he was behind the Fearow attacks. “You best keep moving.” One of them threatened just as Nick passed. “Man… Looks like these Fearow really are causing some damage for these guys to act like this…” he muttered. Heading outside, Nick looked around. Everything seemed fine. In fact, a tour guide was leading people on a boat to the Plant.

“Huh. Everything looks normal to me.” Nick shrugged. Maybe it was just an anti Team Aqua campaign. Yes, they had done bad things, but it was not the same group anymore! People just failed to move on, Nick thought. As he prepared to head back home, a shadow soared over him. He looked up and spotted a Fearow. “Could this be one of them?” he asked himself, trying to observe its leg. Before he knew it, the Fearow dove down at Nick. “Augh!” he cried in fear, ducking. The Pokémon swept over him, narrowly missing his head. “Fearow!” it cried angrily; almost in pain.

Nick stood to observe its leg as it turned around. There it was; the Team Aqua Band! “Alright, this is where you stop! Come on out, Hobbes!” Nick tossed the Pokéball containing Joltik. “Tik tik!” it happily cheered. “Quick, before it gets away! Use Electroweb!” he commanded. The small spider turned its body around and fired an electrically charged web at the Fearow. It fell down, caught by surprise at the attack. “Fearow!” it loomed over Hobbes menacingly, Leering down at it.

“Hobbes, hit it with a Thunder Wave!” Nick commanded. A small wave of electricity hit the Fearow, paralyzing it. The Band on its leg also started emitting sparks as this happened. “That’s weird.” Nick noted. The Fearow responded with a sharp Peck to Hobbes. “Joltik!” it suffered. The attack left it very damaged. “Don’t worry, pal. Electro Ball!” The Pokémon formed a ball of electric energy and fired it at the adversary, knocking it back. “Fearow!” it yelped. The attacks were devastating to it. Fearow attempted to move, but found itself paralyzed. “Tik?” Hobbes pondered. “Knock him out with a Thunderbolt!” he ordered. Rubbing its cute furry legs together, Joltik created several watts of electricity, which it then hurled at the Fearow.

It fell, knocked out. “Good job, Hobbes!” Nick picked it up and placed it on his shoulder. “Now, how do we get this thing off?” he asked, reaching for the Band on Fearow’s leg. A mild electric shock zapped him as he touched the metallic band. “Ow.” He stuck his index finger in his mouth to relieve the pain. “Hey, Hobbes. Use Electro Ball on it, try to overload the circuit.” Nick ordered. Before he could say ‘Go easy on it’, Hobbes fired a powerful blast of electricity, which destroyed most of the Band.

“… Oh…” Nick lamented. Hobbes happily cheered. Not wanting to put it down, Nick congratulated it. “Good job, buddy. Now rest up, I’m sure there’s more of these out there.” He recalled the Pokémon, shoving the ball in his belt. “Oh well. I’m sure to find more.” A group of people rushed towards him, holding microphones. It was the same anchorman from TV, alongside the people from the boat who had recently landed. “Excuse me, Aqua Grunt!” the anchorwoman asked. “Why did you put the braces on the Pokémon if you’re going to remove them?” she asked. “Uhh… What?” Nick asked, very confused.

“Power Plant security footage caught you strapping Team Aqua Bands to four wild Fearow! Since then, the individuals have been attacking travelers and tourists!” the anchorwoman explained, showing him footage of someone who looked exactly like Nick placing several Bands on the Pokémon. The tourists did not like what they heard, and many began panicking. The Tour Guide took against the Anchorwoman. In the heat of the argument, Nick escaped from the crowd sporting a confused expression. “But… I did that? What? This makes no sense.” Nick told himself, walking towards the small forest beside the Power Plant.

After wandering around for a while within them, trying to find an answer for his problem, Nick sat on a stump. “How could I have possibly done that?” he continued to ask himself. This perplexed and troubled him to an all-new degree. Did he sleepwalk? Nick called out Zero. “Hey, buddy. You’ve known me for years. Have I ever sleepwalked?” he asked. Zero shook his head, wondering why Nick would ask that. “Maybe its that curse the lady told us about in Mt. Pyre…” Nick said out loud, deeply disturbed.

“Fearow!” another one of the large birds zipped right in front of Nick. He fell backwards off the stump, struggling to get back up. “Totodile!” his Pokémon helped him up. “Man, what did I do to deserve this?!” he asked. Zero readied itself for battle, but Nick gently pushed it back. “You’ll get your turn later. Ecto, you take this one!” he exclaimed, tossing out the Duskull. “Duskull.” It calmly sighed. “Fearow Fear OW!” the enemy screeched, Pecking at Ecto. He took the punishment, and readied for retaliation.

“Ecto, use Confuse Ray!” Nick commanded. With a snap of his arms, Ecto confused the enemy Fearow. It scampered around awkwardly, attempting to get a hold of itself. The bird had a moment of clarity, in which is Pecked at Ecto again. In the yellow, Ecto took the attacks well. “Disable that!” Again, Duskill snapped its arms together, and Peck was Disabled. Fearow attempted to attack Ecto once more, but instead rammed against a tree, taking some harsh damage. “Now Will O Wisp!” Nick ordered. An orb of fire collided with the enemy Pokémon, effectively burning it.

“Alright, good job!” Nick observed the confused and burned Pokémon stagger around in pain. He pitied it, and sought an end for its suffering. Fearow once again attempted to attack Ecto, but crashed into the tree stump where Nick rested before he was attacked. “Ecto, use Thief! And make sure to target that Band!” Nick pointed at the band on the Pokémon’s leg. Ecto nodded and vanished into thin air. It reappeared behind the Fearow, where using its intangibility power, made the brace intangible as well.

Suddenly, the Fearow stopped. It’s erratic behavior pattern ceased, and the burn mysteriously vanished. “Fearow?” it called out curiously, looking around. It spotted Nick and issued a threat call. This was how Fearows behaved naturally. They always issued a threat call and let their target evacuate before attacking mercilessly. “FEAR!” it cried again. “Run!” Nick grabbed the Band from Ecto and recalled him, fleeing with Zero right behind him.

-------

Examining the Band outside the small forest, Nick noticed it was metallic. There was a small compartment he had busted open which had given him a bit of a shock, like the last one. “Hmmm… Maybe it’s a Brain Control Band?” he asked, looking at Zero for a response. “Well, the brain runs on electric shocks, as does the nervous system. So maybe, this little Band emits a current that synchs up with the brains of Pokémon and puts them under the control of someone…” Nick explained. Zero remained quiet. Upon further inspecting the Brace, he discovered there was a small ‘C’ within the Team Aqua ‘A’.

Nick thought this to be very strange. As he heard a commotion in the distance, he pocketed the Brace and stood up. “Let’s check it out, Zero.” Nick said, running off to the crowd.

Upon approaching the crowd, Nick noticed there were two Fearow performing tricks in the air, both with the Braces on their legs. “Hey! Let me through!” Nick exclaimed, pushing and shoving his way to the center. Someone who looked just like him stood there, gathering money from the crowd. “Wh-What?” he asked, confused. The other him wore the exact same clothes he did, with the exception of the small ‘C’ within the Team Aqua ‘A’ on his cap.

“…” the clone remained quiet. Both Fearow dropped to his side and approached Nick ominously. “Uhhm….” He started backing away, as did the crowd. They were all shocked to see this, and no one quite knew what was going on. The two Pokémon cried out angrily, threatening to attack Nick. “Alright, you want to fight?” he said, tossing out a Poké Ball. The red light revealed RNA. “Get in there, Zero!” Nick said. “Totodile!” the Pokémon obliged and joined the fray.
“Totodile!” it cheered. “Zero, Ice Fang! RNA, transform!” Nick ordered. The other Nick remained silent, but the Fearow snapped into action. One used Mirror Move, which targeted the Transforming RNA. It failed. The other attacked with a nasty Peck. Zero took it, with a good chunk of his health still intact. “Totodile!” it bit down on the Fearow on the left, putting at half of its HP.

Seeing as the crowd and Nick’s attention were on the battle taking place, clone Nick took this chance to sneak out, vanishing into the crowd of people. Meanwhile, the real Nick issued more orders. Taking advantage of RNA’s borrowed Speed, he ordered it to use Mirror Move on Zero’s Ice Fang. He watched the paradox unfold as the Fearow on the right was hit with Ice Fang from a toothless bird. “Fearow!” they cried. One unleashed a Drill Peck on RNA, who took much damage. The other Fearow merely landed, Roosting. “Zero, use Ice Fang again!” Nick ordered.

The Roosting Fearow was hit, but it shrugged off the attack since it had healed and lost its Flying type for the time being. ”Ditto….” RNA yelped, suffering. “You go ahead and Roost as well!” Nick ordered. RNA did as told, and landed. The Fearow and Ditto stared at each other awkwardly. “Zero, Aqua Jet on the grounded one!” Nick ordered. Drenching itself in water and dashing like a maniac, the Totodile smashed as hard as it could against the Fearow staring at RNA. Taken aback, it was clearly not in the best condition.

The enemy on the right charged directly at RNA, landing several nasty Fury Attacks on it. Three attacks landed, and RNA was just about to plunge into the yellow. “Fearow!” the Roosting Fearow pecked nastily at Zero as well, dropping his health to a dangerous low. “Ouch… All right, Zero, one last time! Aqua Jet on the flying one!” Nick ordered. Torrent kicked in once again, and Zero smashed against the flying Fearow. It fell to the ground, unconscious. Zero gasped for breath, clearly on his last leg.

“RNA, hit it with the nastiest Drill Peck you have!” Nick yelled, clenching a fist in tension. The enemy Fearow also countered with a Drill Peck, they both locked each other in an amazing spectacle. After a few seconds of struggling, both Pokémon fell to the floor, knocked out. “Great job, guys!” Nick exclaimed, recalling RNA and scooping up Zero, who cuddled into his chest. “As for you…” he looked to where the clone Nick once stood. The crowd was also dumbfounded, unaware of what had happened to the doppleganger as well. Nick sighed, looking down.

Suddenly, the anchorwoman burst through the crowd, shoving a microphone in Nick’s face. “Hello, young man! It appears there is another one of you running around? Or are you the other one of him? Stay tuned when Channel 42 News returns with me, Gabby!” she winked at the camera, and the tape stopped rolling. She then turned to a very confused Nick. “Seriously, how do you do that? I know Team Aqua is not what it used to be, but seriously? Are you guys this desperate for attention?” the reporter asked. Nick rolled his eyes and ignored her.

“Hobbes, I need you buddy.” He called out his Joltik. “Would you kindly zap those Bands off for me?” he asked, pointing at the Fearow’s legs. Gabby was upset at him ignoring her. “Excuse me!” she said with a tinge of annoyance. Hobbes happily zapped off the Bands, and cheered as it clung to Nick’s shoulder. “Totodile…” Zero cried out, clinging to Nick’s chest. “Don’t worry, buddy. We’re getting home soon.” He said, turning to face Gabby. “Call a Nurse, please. I have to leave, my work here is done.” Nick said, turning around, headed for the teleporter.

“These Aqua jerks!” Gabby frowned as Nick walked away without a second thought.

Do you have the gift

How to Become an Aura Guardian

Since Rex has been having so many strange visions and visits to the Dream World (involuntarily), he decided to test himself for the potential of an Aura Guardian. Rex was flying to Kanto with the help of his Heracross, who was carrying Corphish on its back/head. “This might shed some light on these strange visions, don’t you think so Corphish?” Rex asked. He smelt the sweet scent of flowers and trees. The feeling of flying was always great, but with this nice smell, it was all that much better.

Rex walked up to the castle and right before he was going to go in, two Pidgey swooped down to attack. “Woah!” Rex somersaulted out of the way.

Dex Entry:

Pidgey

Tiny Bird Pokemon

It is docile and prefers to avoid conflict. If disturbed, however, it can ferociously strike back.

Dex Closed.

BATTLE START!

“Go Aron and Joltik!” Rex called out. The two Pokemon appeared; they shook off their sleepy feeling and got ready to battle.

“Pidg! Pidg!” Both Pidgey cried out, using a Gust attack on both of Rex’s Pokemon. Aron and Joltik were tossed back a few feet before gripping the ground and resetting themselves.

“Ok guys, Aron use Iron Head, and Joltik use Electro Ball!” Rex commanded the two Pokemon. Aron’s head transformed into a more steel-like substance and collided with one of the Pidgey. Joltik produced a ball of electricity on its back and fired at the other Pidgey.
Both Pidgey stood back up after recovering from the damage taken. “Pidg! Pidgey!” Both Pidgey cried out, using Gust once more. The flurry of wind missed Aron by inches; unfortunately, Joltik stood right behind Aron and was hit with both Gusts, causing it to faint.

“Return, Joltik, you did great!” Rex said. “Ok, go Cyndaquil!”

“Now, Cyndaquil use Flame Wheel, and Aron, use Metal Claw!” Rex called out.

Both attacks managed to hit on target. One Pidgey was engulfed in the Flame Wheel, while the other suffered injuries from the Metal Claw, causing it to faint. Now there was only one Pidgey.

“PIDG!” Pidgey sent out a Twister attack!

Cyndaquil was right in the attack’s path. Aron noticed this, and pushed

Cyndaquil out of the way, so Cyndaquil could fight on. Aron was hit with the full force of the attack. Aron fainted.

“Return Aron.” Rex said. “Now Cyndaquil, use Flamethrower!”

The Flamethrower engulfed the poor Pidgey and fainted it.
Battle ended.

The Pidgey stood up again. They gave Rex an intense stare and then became pure blue energy and dispersed. “What was that?” Rex wondered. Rex put Cyndaquil back in its ball.

A few minutes later…

Rex was lounging in the Castle’s common room. The room smelled of roses and other flowers.

I wonder what kind of toys may be there

“There you are.”

Rex ran up to grab it when suddenly, blue energy shot out of it, landing right in front of the scepter. The Pokemon appeared out of the light, it was a Lucario. “You are a descendant of Aura Guardians.” He said using
Telepathy.

“Go Heracross!” Rex called out. The Hercules Beetle-like Pokemon appeared before them.

“Heru!” Heracross cried out, as if challenging Lucario.

“Ok Heracross use Aerial Ace!” Rex commanded. The aerial slicing attack came down on Lucario hard. Lucario stumbled about one and a half steps, obviously able to take a hit.

“…” Lucario grunted, sending out an Aura Sphere. It barely missed Heracross. Heracross had flown out of the way just in the nick of time.

“Let’s go Heracross! Use a Fury Cutter!” Rex cried. Heracross’s hands lengthened, sharpened, and glowed blue. Heracross flew out at Lucario, slicing him repeatedly.

Lucario managed to get out of the flurry of slicing. It closed its eyes and the ponytail-like growths on its head pointed out horizontally. It was using its Aura powers.

“Yeah, this got a little bit harder.” Rex sighed.

“Ergh!” Lucario cried, sending out another Aura Sphere, which hit Heracross on contact. Heracross was knocked out of the air, but before hitting the ground, managed to recover and stay in the air.

“Double Team!” Rex cried. That should confuse him a little. Heracross made many copies of itself around the room.

Unfortunately, Lucario could see right through the attack since the copies had no aura. “…” Lucario sent out another Aura Sphere.

Several Heracross copies got in the way of the original and absorbed the hit. “Ok Heracross, let’s use a Quick Attack, and then immediately use a Close Combat attack!” Rex cried.

Heracross sped towards Lucario at a speed that even Lucario could not keep track of. Once on top of Lucario, Heracross began kicking, punching, and even headbutting Lucario.

Lucario was sent flying back into a shelf, which was destroyed. It fell into a pile of rubber. Lucario was not visible.

Heracross hovered near the ground. “Did we win?” Rex wondered.

Suddenly, blue light leaked out of the rubble, followed by an explosion, revealing Lucario, who was beat up real good. Lucario began charging an Aura Sphere. The Aura Sphere exploded in Lucario’s paws. Lucario fell onto one knee. He had been defeated.

Battle ended.

“You did well young one.” Lucario said. “Await approval from your leader.” And with that, Lucario was absorbed back into the scepter. Rex didn’t feel any different. “Well I guess that’s that.” Rex returned his Pokemon and headed back to the HQ.

I've got to say, I am extremely pleased with your style of writing. Might be because I use it as well. Maybe it makes it a better read in general? x)

Anyways, to the grade. I didn't find much wrong with this mission at all, to be frank. There were only two instances that could possibly be wrong. One was in the Fearow battle in the forest. You used Confuse Ray. Confuse Ray is a ghost type, while Fearow is Flying/Normal. So, the move shouldn't work. At least, I'm fairly sure of that. The other thing is that if you used Mirror Move on Zero himself, wouldn't the copied move hit Zero? Of course, that's following the game mechanics strictly, so I'm not to worried about that. Creative, if anything.

Last, on a positive note, is I was simply intrigued that you made the bands on the Fearows' legs metallic mind control bands. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they could be considered braces if thick enough.... But enough of that.

Pass. Take 1000 PD (based on defeating four Fearows and deciding not to catch a pokemon).

Lycan Savior Origin
How to Become an Aura Guardian
MISSION - Chosen

We need to find out whether you can even use aura before you begin training. Travel to Cameran Palace in Kanto and converse with Queen Illene. The Queen will present you Aaron's Scepter. If you are in-fact destined to be a guardian, Trust me, the scepter will let you know.

Objectives:
- Get to the palace. I'm sure there will be someone or something trying to stop you.
- Find the Scepter. Of course, hidden with Aura.
- Defeat the beast of the Scepter.

Rewards:
Aura Guardian Lvl 1: Aura Apprentice + 500-1000 PD
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Much better! A much easier read with more story and more 'realistic' battles. A few of the lines were cut off prematurely and continued two lines below, but I'll let that pass. There were a few spelling errors as well, but I'll let those slide this time.

Take 700 PD and welcome to the ranks of Aqua Guardian Level 1.

Actually, Confuse Ray DOES work on Normal-types. Certain status category moves are not affected by type immunity.

Where Mirror Move is concerned, I can't say I've ever used it in a double battle, much less tried it on my own team. So... although it probably does work as Tommy suspects, I can't say it with 100% certainty.

The leg bands... actually aren't mind-control bands. There's a different reason why the Fearow were acting up, as you'll uncover as you continue the storyline.

I'm bumping up the prize money to the full 1200 PD because I liked the story.
